His show was nothing less than specular! Saw his Labor Day weekend show in AZ. That was an amazing performance to say the least. Never missed a beat. So I was already on cloud 9 when I saw the poster for this show featuring vocalists from the album, Louis Vivet and CVNT5. :D <3 143 Drove from Arizona just for the show. I wasn't about to miss a thing, got there 30min early. Warmed up with Louis Vivet, great!!! Then lights go out, show starts? There was about an hour of what seemed like filler, maybe due to a technical issue. But even with the lull, Gareth did not once disappoint! Track after track, it was pure bliss. Even with her voice being on the fritz his sister blew her time out of the water! The lighting was nothing less than breath taking. At the end of the show, Gareth gets down off the stage to show love to his adoring fans! Just like in AZ, he embraced the crowd, taking time for selfies and hugs, with confetti flying everywhere, before ending the night completely. #trancefam #bliss #GarethEmery I spent the last 12 years shut away from any type of dance music, only to resurface and find an artist like Gareth coming up and making it big the way he is?! I'm in heaven! My heart just melts looking back on both nights. I've said it before, Gareth Emery has surpassed so many of the greats in my book. He's taken over spot #1 from Armin.

It is commonly a hassle to get into the Hollywood Palladium and this night was no different. Expect a very thorough body search as you make your way inside. The atmosphere is mildly electric with few lights and many swaying bodies, eager in anticipation as Gareth begins the set in near darkness and bouncing beats. As the night progresses, he drags you further and further into a dream state with the lights and lasers matching the frantic energy pouring from a sound system straining to keep up. The Palladium is special in that every place you stand offers an intriguing view of the massive crush of bodies heaving in unison with reckless abandon. Gareth is uncommon of late in that he fuses together many styles of electronic and dance music to bring together the dark and violent trap and house alongside the shiny happy bubbles of vocal trance. When he brings out vocalists the crowd goes nuts. One reveler screams, "I love it when he plays a song! I love the songs!" The simple words resonate within me as the transcendent voice of Christina Novelli enraptures the entire hall and our throats erupt in unison. It's getting late and Gareth has already brought us far and wide on a journey of musical delights. With loud blaring sirens and massive light flashes, a transformation takes place to reveal that CVNT5 has taken the stage. Laughter cascades across the room. For the next portion of the evening, I hear the words "Hilarious", "That's the funniest thing I've ever seen", and "This is insanely creative" in one fashion or another from everyone around me. Or at least the ones not doing spit-takes or doubled over with mirth at the ludicrous satire lampooning everything in the State of EDM. For the final hour, you can feel the crowd becoming unsettled. We have heard nearly every musical flavor, bouncy beats, sick scores, filthy grooves, and uplifting melodies that cause us to collectively sing our hearts out. When finally, he grants us the relief that is "Reckless" it is almost a mercy. I can take no more. I've been dancing for almost 5 hours, sung until I have no voice, near to tears with emotions, and now utterly drained.

Terminal five venue was fantastic! Loved the layout and with so many people at this sold show, I never felt trapped inside. The only downside was the coat heck line that was ridiculously long but in keeping our jackets we just tied them to the front post of the stage (yes we managed to be front and center even getting there at 10pm when doors opened at 8!), Gareth emery's set was great! Kinda slow at first but when djing for 5 hours you can't have banger after banger (the middle to end was great! And special appearance of Emma Hewitt was so cool!). Ladies, even if you're in the city, heel boots are a bad idea here...sneakers/flats/comfy shoes are the way to go. Can't wait to go back to terminal 5 for another event!

Gareth was amazing, the venue was a bit expensive as far as the drinks go but very open and roomy despite a sold out crowd.

I never heard of Gareth until a couple weeks ago, my friend told me about him. Ive been into electronic music but never very aware of his side of the whole EDM/trance spectrum. Bottom line, Gareth was a treat and Im so glad im aware of his music now. The club Haven, was a nice little place with a lot of energy. Lights, smoke, giant screen, making it rain champagne on the crowd, the whole 9 yards.

Michael Woods and Christina Novelli were AWESOME! Was pretty disappointed in Gareth as he didn't interact with audience a lot or have much energy. Also, was a bit unimpressed with his set selection. I wouldn't go see him again. Would definitely see Michael and Christina though!

This was the most incredible concert I've ever been to! The amount of lasers perfectly synchronized to the music was mind blowing! Pictures can't eve come close to representing the experience. Looking up and seeing countless lasers all around, is indescribable. Gareth's music is beautiful, but having two live singers really brought it to life and brought a level of class to the event. Best concert ever!! Only downside was the insane line at the end for coat check. Security was very lax and luckily we were still safe.

Every single track from Kristina Sky to Gareth's final song was a banger! That for me is rare. Then you add the laser light show, which by the way felt like I was witnessing the biggest Star Wars battle scene in space, was so mesmerizing. The experience was out of this world! I wish there was another LaserFace show somewhere else because I would probably watch it again. Seen quite a few Gareth (or trance shows) shows but this by far was his best IMHO.

Visually, everything was spectacular! The lasers were some of the craziest visuals I ve ever seen at a concert. My only complaint is that the bass was distorted which made the treble and mid range really hard to hear. The audio got a little better once Gareth started playing though.

This show was amazing. You could tell that there was a lot of work put into making this a one of a kind show. I had a blast. The music was really good as well, except towards the end when I couldn t understand why I was not hearing Trance. I would definitely pay again for another show though.

Music was amazing...gareth emery killed it.. very good show and so much room. Sound system was super top notch quality. Amazing people to rave with. Good vibd Only complaint was with security..they were flashing lights on people who had gloves with leds on them. No gloving aloud. Their reason was for fear of people getting epileptic seizures....which makes no sense sewing how the whole show there were leds and lazers. I think it was an ignorant attempt at assimilate rave culture with something negative. Not cool and very ignorant in my opinion.

This was by far the most disappointing EDM shows I've been to. Emery didn't even pretend to put on a real show. I didn't have to get close to the stage to know that he was going off of a pre recorded set. Don't get me wrong, I didn't expect him to play an entire 5 hour set without some prerecording, but it was pathetically obvious the whole time. Don't even get me started on Emma Hewitt. She performed onstage for 3 songs tops, and actually lip synced. And I mean, literally worded the lyrics without singing a note into the mic. Overall, it was a disappointing show, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to spend $40+ on what you can get for free at any nightclub.

Gareth always puts on an amazing show and the addition of Emma Hewitt made it even better. The venue was pretty good too. The only thing that upset me was how disorganized the entry line was and how long the coat check line took. Other than that, the venue was good.
