never saw them live when they were together, but always was a big fan. they didn't disappointment with this show! tons of energy, tons of fun, tons of talent. there is something about these mid nineties indie/punk/emo bands that just had so much talent. anyways, good times!

Great club. Coming from western mass where the local venue owner rarely turns on the air conditioning, it was refreshing to be at a rock show and not be sweating profusely. The openers were local and were hard hitting and solid! The Promise Ring was awesome. Lots of energy, super long set and lots of fun!!! The $4.50 PBR's were a little off putting but what do you expect at at club in Boston?

I have seen the Davey, lead singer's other band, Maritime, but never The Promise Ring. They were wonderful! Honestly a greatl show. Funny banter with the crowd. Danceable tunes. Not flashy, but fun. They're super friendly and Davey even stayed out front afterwards to talk to folks. The crowd was great too. So positive!
