There are many Zep tribute bands out there and I've seen many of them. When I watch most of them I feel like I've seen a cover band that plays Zep tunes pretty well. ZOSO is still the only Zep tribute band that leaves me thinking I just saw the real thing. They bring the look and the swagger that was Led Zeppelin. To me...they just have that "IT" factor over the other bands.

I am a huge fan of Zeppelin! I realize it would be difficult if not impossible to impersonate them perfectly but... I don't think the Uptown theater helped much, it was way too big for this show. We actually left to go get something to eat not half way through. I was so looking forward to an evening of memories...disappointed. We have tickets to Houses of the Holy July 25 with fingers crossed... :)

Been following this band for roughly 10 years. Some shows are better than others. This was a good one. They mixed up the songs better than usual - there's so many to pick from this was a nice mixture of Zep's catalog of the best must ever. This was somewhat of a deciding point for me - if they weren't good, no more. I'll be at the Civic next year. Hopefully they will continue to work to not be stale. No question the lead guitarist is the best and lead. I'm sure he could play anywhere.

This show was absolutely amazing! The bands were spot on.
Had an amazing time. Line was long at first but moved very quickly. Got a great view and band was the best tribute band we have seen. Def would go again!!!
I've seen Zoso 5 times now in different locations on the East coast. They exceeded all expectations with this last show! Every song, every note screamed Led Zeppelin is alive an well! GREAT band, great time at Stage AE!
It was a let down. The venue is set up for loud bass-heavy rock concerts. Led Zeppelin would be ashamed to witness this venues mixing. The lead singer was overpowered by the bass. My pant legs shook on a bass drum hit or hard cymbal crash. Each song had an extended guitar solo. It just was not what I was expecting to see from a Zeppelin tribute. We left early and saw others leaving early too.
You aint gonna see Led Zeppelin live ever again. This is as close as youre gonna get! They played 2 1/2 hours with no break. Lots of the hits and a few of the less familiar gems from the Zep catalog. This was the 2nd time Ive seen them and it was a different play list from last time. I will go see them again.
zoso was great again as usual! enjoy the show every year in February. these guys have a lot of talent! they are the best! bought a t-shirt so i can show off zoso! looking forward to next year!!
Had the pleasure of seeing Zoso at the Akron Civic Theatre. They rocked the place and paid a great tribute to Zeppelin. Would see them again! The Theatre was nice - first time there.

It was our first time to see a concert at The Queen in Wilmington DE. We had no idea that the venue was mostly SRO. In order to get a seat, you had to upgrade your $14.00 ticket for another $20.00. Unless, you were in a wheel chair! Don't even know if the people accompanying a wheel chair guest had to pay for a chair or not. But, our invited guests for the evening offered to pay for the upgrade and we found seats about 7:30pm. The concert didn't start until almost 8:15pm. It was over at 10 something. Don't remember. Our chief complaint is that the sound system was terrible. Couldn't understand the words, and every song was played at the loudest volume possible. The instrumentalists were exceptional. They could really play! The lead singer was trying his best to be Robert Plant. We've seen "Get The Led Out" before. There is no comparison between the two groups! GTLO Rocks!!

The band put on a great show. The venue was really charming. However, the sound was really distorted. It seems that the speakers could not handle the volume. You could not hear the singer's voice properly because the sound would get so distorted. Left early. I had gone to the same venue for the Beatles tribute band about a month earlier. Really enjoyed the show - the sound quality was perfect.

I've seen them play every time they have come to the Newport in the past 7 years and they have jammed every time just like the real band would have at a live concert, ... just raw sound with no over dubbing like on the albums/cds. Only negative I can say I have is I haven't heard them play the classic In my time of Dying.. yet!

Individually, they are probably the most talented of the Zeppelin cover bands. However, the concert was only okay. They played for only 1.5 hours with quite a few (filler) solos. I liked Get the Led Out and Jason B.'s LZE better. If Zoso could mesh together better as a band, they would likely be my favorite. As of now, I rank them 3rd out of the 3 I've seen.

What an AMAZING show! I felt like I was back in the 70's at MSG in 1977! I've seen Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience and thought it was great but ZOSO tops them by far! Lead singer does Plant so well sometimes I couldn't tell it wasn't Plant himself. "Page" emulates the real Jimmy Page like no other. And let me tell you about the drummer...FANTASTIC! What a performance for Moby Dick! I can't believe these guys have been doing this for 21 years and I never saw them! I'm hoping they're doing a show somewhere on the west coast of FL in August so I can bring my brother!!!

An unbelievable experience and re-creation of the energy and creativity of Led Zeppelin. Zoso provides sounds and stage presence like no other Zeppelin band. I saw the original Led Zeppelin in Atlanta in the 1970's at the height of their careers and Zoso meets and exceeds that performance. Zoso has worked hard for many many years to perfect the Zeppelin experience and the crowds and energy at the concerts proves Zoso is the best without a doubt at the Led Zeppelin performance. I look forward to seeing them again and again. Thanks Zoso for keeping the music alive !!!!

Haunting lighting illuminated the stage with a tribute band that performed an exciting concert that mirrors a Led Zeppelin performance of the mid-70s era. Vocal range matches the Robert Plant feel, although there were no backup vocals that are normallly heard on some tracks. I'd still give 9 out of 10 stars for the performance. The lead guitarist wailed out thrilling riffs and mesmerized the audience with great solo flair. The obligatory drum solo was full of gusto and exploited the full range of Bonzo mania. The bass/organ player was the epitome of John Paul Johes, never seen but always felt. He was the train that the entire band rode upon. It is probably the closest that any Zep fan could expect in a true Zep-less world and I will definitely see them again.

I saw this tribute band, Zoso, about 18 months ago at the same venue. They kicked my ass in every way I could imagine that seeing the real Led Zeppelin would do. Zoso deserves each and every photon twinkling brightly from the 5 stars I give them again. Having said that, seeing them a second time was not as mind blowing as it was the first time. I knew they were going to put on an exceptional performance, so I did not get that surprise factor this time. Coincidentally, only a month ago, I drove down to Cincinnati and saw another LZ tribute band, Led Zeppelin 2, perform at Bogart's. Even giving some sympathy credit to the lead singer and the band as a whole because the lead singer clearly was fighting a bad cold that affected his voice, I was disappointed in Led Zeppelin 2's overall performance. It didn't help that the sound engineers seemed to be deaf and could not hear that their work in the sound booth was causing all kinds of bad distortions that were made worse by an aluminum frame awning attached to the balcony vibrating from the extreme volume associated with the lead singer's microphone to the point that the vibrating metal was screeching as it neared its resonance frequency. It certainly detracted from the quality of the show for me and my date. We enjoyed the show, of course, because they were playing Zeppelin music very well. However, if I were asked to compare the two tribute bands, I vehemently declare that Zoso puts on a far superior show than Led Zeppelin 2. As I have said before, Zoso's technical musicianship and overall performance is the closest thing I can imagine to having the real gods of rock on stage! If you are a Led Zeppelin fan, do yourself a favor and go see Zoso wherever you can find them playing! Their show runs longer than most tribute bands I've seen in my lifetime. At countless moments throughout the concert, you feel as if you've been transported from your living room watching "The Song Remains The Same" recording for the thousandth time and you've landed just a few feet from the stage at Madison Square Garden experiencing that live concert from the 70's. Even the aroma of certain herbs being roasted nearby fills your nostrils to add to the nostalgia. Sure, Zoso's "Jimmy Page" isn't quite as tall as the original, and their "John Paul Jones" looks more like he belongs in a Twisted Sister tribute band, but their costumes are perfect, and they play LZ's many hits as if they wrote the songs themselves. Zoso absolutely makes an tremendous tribute to Led Zeppelin and their music.

Second row balcony seats (this time) provided a birds eye view of the entire show which was fantastic. We have seen Zoso at least a dozen times at several venues and they deliver a different show each time! They add new and different songs which always keeps us coming back for more. As a long time Zeppelin fan who has seen them in person, ZOSO recreates the experience perfectly even down to the original band member's personal mannerisms, hair, clothing, musicality, and delivery of the lyrics! I recommend this band to anyone and everyone who will listen! PLUS, the guys in the band hang around after the show to meet and greet their fans and are very approachable and appreciative of their fan following! Nice touch!

These guys nailed it. Every detail was amazingly Zep-like....except for the ass length hair on John Paul Jones. Unbeliveably loud (loved it). The singer was held his own but, of course was no Robert Plant.....in voice (very close but you know how someone just sounds like themselves and ya can't really mimic that, he can sing though).....in actions, oh yes, he got it nailed! Now the guitarist....he totally channelled Jimmy Page down to the costume, antics and playing. Sounded exactly like Page. I noticed a reviewer below said they were sloppy. Well, they weren't BUT Zep themselves, and especially Page, are always "criticized" for being sloppy. During the show my wife kept asking why they made certain faces and movements and I'd find an uncannily identical video of Zep on my phone, right down to the costumes they had on. She said "How do you keep finding these pics in the same clothes?" Anyways I'd highly, highly recommend this show to everyone who is either a Zep fan or wants to go to a GREAT rock and roll show. Did not dissappoint in the least. I walked through 15 below wind chill to see them and I'll do it again!

As a serious Led Zeppelin fan, I went into this show thinking it would be a little silly, but the only way to hear the music of Led Zeppelin performed live. Honestly from the first note on it truly was the Led Zeppelin experience. Every note, every drum beat (do you have any idea how hard it is to truly replicate the ferocious sound Bonham had?)was just dead-on. If you can let yourself go & suspend disbelief, it is an amazing show. I would absolutely go again. Met the guys after the show & they were very cool.

I went to this concert, your typical aging Led Zeppelin fan, with modest expectations. I lived in Philadelphia in the fall of 1980, and was working connections to get tickets for their upcoming stadium show. One dreary, rainy day, the radio DJ announced that John Bonham died from an alcohol overdose, and the tour was cancelled. Over time, I developed a deep-seated wish to see a live Zeppelin show before I died. I also developed the distinct feeling that this wish would go unfulfilled. All these years later...it turns out I did end up checking this item off my Bucket List. ZOSO was the closest thing to the real thing, except that it cost $26 and I didn't risk getting crushed by a crowd. Matt Jernigan, the vocalist, has not only the voice of Robert Plant, but his mannerisms, delivered with an easygoing style that strikes a balance between "being" Robert Plant without taking himself too seriously. Adam Sandling captured the spirit of John Paul Jones, and juggled bass playing with playing the synthesizer, and his performance was spot on. But John McDaniel (Jimmy Page), and , incredibly, Bevan Davies (Bonham) stole the show, in my opinion. McDaniel is a virtuoso on the guitar, and has total command of the instrument. His solos were mesmerizing and creative...he would take riffs from unrelated songs, like Achilles Last Stand, and weave them into other solos. He captured the soul of Page...fast, skilled, and bluesy. Davies' drumming was the most surprising part of the show. His rendition of Moby Dick...some of which he played by slapping the back of his hands on the drums...was the best drum solo I have ever witnessed-and I have seen many bands in my day. I noticed that that Zoso does their own roadie work; quite the balancing act. I should note that I saw another Zeppelin cover band, Get the Led Out, maybe 10 years ago, and it was a fine show that I would recommend for diehard fans. But the two shows are not really comparable. That show was like playing cuts from Zeppelin albums with a group of likeminded fans. It was a seated show (for a hard rock concert...yuck!), and I enjoyed it. The Zoso experience was something on a different level. It was like watching the real thing! In fact, I could argue that it was closer to the 1970's era Zeppelin experience then the actual band would be if they reunited. Plant's voice has...er...matured quite a bit. I was tickled that my 18 year old daughter and her boyfriend joined me at the show. I sent them a setlist of songs to download a few weeks before the concert, and sparked an interest in Zeppelin...they especially like "The Ocean" and "The Immigrant Song". My only regret was that Zoso did not play my favorite song of all time "The Song Remains the Same". Maybe they performed it at the Boca Raton show-sorry I missed it. So-take the kids and enjoy the show!

Zeppelin absolutely changed my life and got me into music from the first time I heard Pagey's wah wah on How Many More Times. I saw ZOSO in South Lake Tahoe for my bachelor party and these guys were incredible. Being a huge Pagey fan, I was right in front of the guitarist and he was spot on with everything. They paid tribute properly, but did not play the songs exactly as they were on the studio versions, but truly captured a tremendous live presence. Within the same songs, they mixed eras, No Quarter with the Jonesy solos from 1977, followed by the Page solos from TSTRS. Thank You mixed the Page & Plant 1998 performance with my absolute favorite guitar solo of all time, the 1971 BBC. I could rave on and on, but just go see them, their energy is great. An absolute powerhouse!

It was my second time seeing them perform. The musicians are truly excellent. There were songs that if I closed my eyes I would have thought I was at the actual Led Zeppelin concert. Plus, you can see that they truly enjoy playing the music. I will go see them next year when they return to Fort Lauderdale.

Awesome. Super. Absolutely in my top 5 concerts of all time. Fantastic; doesn't do justice to these incredible musicians. Can't wait until next years return engagement.

The Drummer was fricking awesome. This is as close as you can get to the actual Led Zeppelin Band. Well worth the money. They played all the best songs. Could have listened to them for another 8 hours!

Someone who saw them before me told me how great they are. That's what prompted me to go see them. However, no matter how much the person tried to impress on me how great they were, it is not understood until you see a show. They were perfect. My all time favorite band is Led Zeppelin and Zoso has done justice. Unfortunately, I was too young to see Led Zeppelin in person. This was the next best thing.

Sure, there are any number of qualified musicians that could perform a show like this, but I'm going to say that the chemistry would just not be as good. Zoso selected a group of amazing songs, and most importantly gets the sound, and thats truly the most important thing, spot on. Kudos guys, you do a great job of reminding us just how special our heroes Zeppelin were.

This band has been together 21 years and it shows. I saw them at a small venue (DaVinci Café in Deland) which is outdoors. It rained a little, but this did not stop the show or dampen the enthusiasm of the crowd. Led Zeppelin's music is complex. changing through the years, and much of what you hear on albums cannot easily be duplicated live. But Zosa did an amazing job of reproducing the whole range of Zeppelin songs from the first album through the 4th with no extra musicians (or tracks that I could tell) to produce an incredible live performance. Having done this for long, I think the band members may take their talent for granted, but they should not. Whether playing to a small audience or a large auditorium, they should be assured that people greatly appreciate what they do to bring this music to life. I saw Led Zeppelin live in 1977 and have listened to many live recordings and I think zoso did a better job on much of the material.

This is the best Zeppelin experience you could ever have !! A must see truly an amazing experience !!
Don't fret the non-reunion...these guys fill the bill. They have obviously done their homework...authentic intruments (no wireless mics), the mannerisms, and wardrobe. Not to mention top notch musicianship...Zep songs can be difficult to do correctly. Let's face it, we have all heard local bands try and fail. Not to worry, these guys killed it. Excellent sound quality as well
An awesome show!! Second time seeing them!!! You totally forget you're listening to a cover band....they are that awesome!!! If you love Led, you HAVE to check out Zoso!!! You will be amazed!!!!!!!!!!!!
You always pretty much know what you will get with Zoso although on this nearly sold out evening they did play a few numbers we have not heard from them before. They put on a great show and the crowd was very pleased throughout. What was a real surprise though was the opening band Elipsus. This local band has been around for awhile, have opened for Zoso in the past, and have a nice fan base of their own. Four guys who really knew how to bring it from the opening notes of their first number all the way through their 45 minute set of all original material. This band is tight - solid musicianship with a most engaging set of tunes. The crowd was appreciative and let them hear it after each number. A very enjoyable evening from start to finish.
Great show. These guys sound and look just like Led Zeppelin did in the 70s. This was my 6th time seeing them and they change-up the setlist from show to show. Akron Civic Theatre is a nice venue they've been playing the first week of February for the past several years. The only downside at this venue is you're not allowed to stand up and dance. I have a hard time hearing/seeing Zeppelin and not dancing! But I still wouldn't miss it!!! Great show!

Zoso is a must see! I definitely will go again next year. This show brought back memories of my first concert in 1973 Led Zeppelin at the Atlanta Fulton County Stadium!

Started 1 hour late so ended up standing around for 75 minutes Sound at the stage was much better than sound in balcony (very high pitched, painful). Ended up plugging ears to reduce ringing.

Overall the show was good and all four of the musicians are very talented. A few song choices were questionable and a few favorites weren't played but, it's understandable with so much material to choose from.
