CONNECTION. If one word sums up the phenomenon of Above & Beyond then that is surely it. Whether it’s the thousands of fans singing their lyrics back at shows around the world, from Bangalore to Beirut to Brixton, or the millions that tune in for their weekly Group Therapy (ABGT) radio show, connection – real human connection - is at the heart of all things that define this multitalented trio. Above & Beyond is Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamaki, and their story is one of constant movement over a 14-year history.

If you're into trance, you'll love them. They're amazing! I've been wanting to see them for so long so when I found out in November that they were coming to Dallas I had to buy my ticket! I know people that aren't even that into the type of edm they do, but still enjoy A&B's music. Performance was unforgettable!

Everything about the show was perfect! The lights, the sound, the set list. It was an unforgettable night. Tony gave me so many emotions and I was sad Jono couldn't be there. Well I was originally going to go with friends, but ended up going by myself and still had a blast. All the DJs were phenomenal, and it was unforgettable. The only issue was the EQ on the speakers, all 200 sections had bad sound, but still enjoyable.

Hands down, the best concert I've ever been too. That's all that needs to be said really. Other than, if you are on the edge about spending the money to see them, just go for it because you won't be disappointed!!! :) (PS: I drove 400 miles and got thirty minutes worth of sleep to see this concert so.. You can take that into account) (PSS: Even my sister, who only knew a few of their songs, thoroughly enjoyed the concert :)

Above & Beyond was supposed to go on at 8pm. Instead they had a horrible opening DJ play for 3 hours, then an okay DJ play for 2 hours. I didn't even need to buy my ticket to this because people were literally walking into the venue.. No ticket checkers. People were crowd surfing even though that's apparently "against the rules." Too many teenagers. But ANYWAY when above & beyond finally did go on it was AMAZING. One drunk girl tackled one of the members in the middle of a set though and security came out.. (really wish she would've been kicked out of the venue). All in all, the band was incredible and I would definitely recommend seeing them. Just not at the Norva.

Even minus one, A&B proved themselves as the best in a competitive genre. Although good DJs opened, the minute they took the stage - about four hours into the evening - the undeniable skill, mastery of working a crowd and creating trance magic was very evident. Don't miss them if you like EDM/Trance served up by real professionals.

This concert was my very first trance concert, and what's more, was that none of my friends were into this type of music, so I ended up going alone. That being said, I quickly found out that I wasn't alone, there were people there with the same interests as I. Dancing non-stop for seven hours straight, absolutely NO conflicts there, everyone was just so nice with each other. It really epitomized the whole "Group Therapy" theme they were going for. It's really shocking, to see a whole bunch of people come together like that for music, especially in such a place as NYC. So many memories, I wish I could relive them again. I'm only 18, but I danced the night away with girls that were definitely over 21. It was really something, haha. My only regret is not picking up a number from this girl with shades I danced with once Above & Beyond was actually opening up. She was incredible. . . but I guess I'll never find her. All in all, a great concert.

I've never been to Best Buy Theater and I was so happy to see that this venue is just perfect. It's got plenty of bars, bathrooms, things to eat, it's has a dance floor and a place to sit!! Awesome!! The warmup djs deserve a show just to themselves! I love J-Tek!!

I moved south from upstate NY 3yrs ago, This happened to be my first concert i've been to since moving. I really loved the venue layout, Spencer and Above & Beyond did a fantastic job with their music. As usual, drink prices and clothing were insanely high ($35 for a shirt, $8 for mich. ultra) but that's expected. I do look forward to seeing more events here.

Disappointed. Only 2 of the 3 primary group members were there. Few songs were played from the new Common Ground album, despite this being "The Common Ground Tour". Was expecting some live vocalists & instrumentalists, especially after seeing the new A&B documentary film "Giving Up The Day Job". The film was a much better experience than the live show. The show had good love & energy, but was too formulaic to be worth the $100+ cost for the evening. Too many dub/drop sequences near the end, not enough of A&B's wonderful ethereal sounds.

I went to Above and Beyond Acousitc at the Waikiki Shell in Honolulu Hawaii. I'm already a total fan of theirs and I wasn't quite sure how the acoustic set would go, but I have to say that from the moment they started it was just amazing! So much talent and the vocalist have a way of making you feel something that is quite outside of this world. This was one of the most memorable, beautiful concerts I have ever been too. I have been singing all the songs ever since. I even wake up with the music in my head. If you have the opportunity to catch this trio and their accompanying crew, I highly recommend doing so. The music is sublime and a fantastic twist on the excellent dance/electronica we normally associate hearing from this group. Their passion for making the music come to life is evident in not only their playing, but also their interactions among the entire crew and to the audience. Genuine musicians making great music for raving fans. Hard to beat that... Above and Beyond really stepped it up on this tail-end of their North American Tour. Being the last-stop was unforgettable and a truly memorable experience. The crescendo and decrescendo which pulsed throughout the set evoked a special energy within in the crowd which led to an emotional ending. The show was visually and acoustically stunning, leaving the listener attached at the end. Their message of love created a warm atmosphere of unity among the crowd. One of the greatest in electronic dance music and my favorite in progressive trance did not let down. I await their return!

Absolutely stunning!!!! It's been a week and I'm still under an impression. That was HUGE! Second day blew me away - deep house all day! Also, they a bunch of trance classics back at the campground after the show was supposedly over. Blew me away. And I'm the type of person who is generally high on life. All I've had - 2 cans of beers on both days. Didn't even need that. Music carried me. If I could re-live those two days - I'd do that out of question!

I have been to the Gorge nearly 10 times for different events and this was by far the best. From Production, to security, to lines, to food, to the crowd to everything! It was amazing. PLEASE bring ABGT back soon!!!

I've heard people talk about the gorge but words don't do it justice, the natural views, the unobstructed stage view from anywhere in the place. Above and Beyond, Yotto and the other artists were at their best. 10/10
