Puddles Pity Party

Puddles Pity Party was so much fun! I'm not really a clown fan per se, but this clown is awesome. His voice is so powerful and the skits in between songs are hilarious. I'd highly recommend the show to anyone. There were small kids in the audience, grandmas, and everyone in between. It really was appropriate for all ages and equally entertaining for everyone.

He is known to the world as Puddles Pity Party.....and yes i know he is a clown, but he is SOME clown. I got the chance to see his show when he was in Minneapolis this last Saturday the 24th at the Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis, MN.. If you ever get a chance to listen to his music, check out his YouTube channel, there is good reason they say he has a Golden Voice. If you "get him", his voice will melt your soul and put it back together, better than it was before. He has a way of making all your worries go away. If you get a chance to go to one of his shows....GO....it will change your life, and don't forget to get your Puddles Cuddle at the end, in the lobby. That is part of the whole experience. Can't think of any other entertainer that would do the same for his fans. Puddles Pity Party, the Sad Clown with the Golden Voice, delivered an outstanding show at the Pantages Theater in Minneapolis, MN on 3/24/18. Puddles has such a wonderful voice and the acoustics at the Pantages Theater did justice to it! The show was at least two hours long, without an intermission, and Puddles sang new material as well as many fan favorites. As usual, he involved the audience in his show by making his first appearance in the theater balcony, greeting everyone he possibly could. Then he came downstairs onto the main stage and started his show, often involving audience members onstage and off, to the delight of the crowd. He concluded the show by appearing with in the lobby of the theater to give Puddles Cuddles--he meets with everyone who cares to wait in line to get photo with him and a hug, in addition to an autograph if desired. Puddles puts his heart and soul into all of his performances, mixing his powerful singing voice with his silent comedic routine. His shows never disappoint! I highly suggest seeing him if you can!

Puddles is a great performer!!! I laughed, cried and sang. Puddles was gracious enough to meet people on their way into the show and pose for pictures. You could even have cuddles with Puddles after the show. He has a beautiful voice and his versions of the songs are better than the originals. There was a lot of audience participation and everyone seemed to have a great time. Go see Puddles!!!!

Puddles puts on an amazing show that has the audience laughing from start to finish. And completely stunned into silence when he sings. Hands down the best show of the year...and probably many more to come. Trust me - Go to the show; it is amazing!

I hold no pity on anyone that does not take the time to see puddles live! He is very very talented in his own work and in his rework of many popular songs! His voice is strong and powerful.

Amazing performance from start to finish. I wasn't sure what to expect. I'd seen the videos of Puddles singing but did not realize the show would be so fun. So much interaction with the audience, great playlist and obvious talent. I'm still stymied by the gum but overall, WOW!

Puddles is hilarious, very interactive, extremely talented, and has an incredible voice. One of the best shows I have ever seen!!! This is one show I hope returns soon and is well worth seeing more than once! Loved it!!!!!

Great show overall! Funny, inspirational and light hearted. In a world where entertainers feel a need to shock you or perform in their underwear, here's a giant clown with a golden voice. Lot's of audience participation kept things always changing. I'll go again!

After finding Mike Grier on YouTube and discovering his talent I had to see him live. His voice is golden and his character Puddle's had me smiling the whole show. If you get a chance to see him perform..do NOT turn it down. Clean, funny, entertaining and beautiful music.

This was our first time seeing Puddles Pity Party. In fact, I knew very little about him, or what his show might be like. We had so much fun! I will go again. I am now a true fan!

One of the best shows I've seen in a while! I laughed, I cried, I laughed. Puddles Pity Party is a definite must see! The sad clown with the golden voice is a phenomenal one man show. His rendition of popular songs is even better than the original artist version. I wish he would release a full CD.

This is the best comedy that we have seen in a long time. It even has audience participation. Be sure to catch the show next time he is in town.

Fantastic performance, beautiful voice, and totally creepy because he's a giant clown. Puddles Pity Party did not disappoint! The upside of Balboa Theatre is it's quite small, so the performance feels more intimate and interactive, especially because of how the show was designed to engage with the audience. The downside is I suddenly remembered this theatre from my one long ago visit here because of how terrible the flow is in the layout, everything from admission where you line out onto the sidewalk, to the lobby where there's nowhere to walk between the concessions and merchandise lines, to the bathrooms where the doors literally open into people using the sink. The wonderful employees and generally amiable theatre attendees are the saving graces.

Awesome singing, great comedy. Fun time for the entire family! I would definitely see him again. He s such a clown, literally, and really goes the extra mile for his fans!

What an incredible show, we loved every minute, he is such a fabulous vocalist, could hear him sing all day. Would love to see the show again.

Puddles was very entertaining. Hope to see him again soon. Great one man act with help from the audience. My god, with a voice like that, how can you not love him. The one thing I hope he changes the next go around is adding CDs of his music for sale. Sure the pins, stickers ans tees were nice, but I wanted to take home his voice.

Been following for years now, got a chance get off work. Was super excited from reading the reviews and he was every bit angelic as he was on youtube. I will never miss a date in the future! Gave you a chance to meet and greet, interacted with the crowd and gave me a memory I will remember for a lifetime!

Do not miss seeing Puddles the next time you have a chance - we got to know him through PMJ and it was just so much fun to see him on his own - part vocalist - part performance art - the show was amazing. He is also such a gracious performer. Greeted the entire audience by going through the balconies down to the orchestra section before starting the show. Afterwards he even stayed for "cuddles with Puddles" and pictures after the show - the line was huge and had I been in his position I would have wanted to walk away - He put so much energy into the actual show itself but then to stay and greet the many that wanted a picture was going above and beyond.

From the chaotic beginning with Puddles perhaps a bit too close to the audience, to the excruciating opening where Puddles received a most deserved Red X from the Network TV talent show, to further skits and songs that became blurred and incoherent as entertainment to our epiphany that this audience interaction was somewhere between an Andy Kaufman re rendition of "Here he Comes to Save the Day -- The Mighty Mouse anthem" and a cult meeting of people actually thinking that this literal clown was a funny and entertaining. My girlfriend and I are intelligent and fun. This show was neither.

What an entertaining show. Puddles was amazing. Such a strong voice of a gentle giant clown. I definitely recommend attending one of his shows if you ever get the chance.

Great Venue, Puddle has one amazing Voice, Worst performance ever! Fell asleep watching him struggle with s chair all night long and rechew gum over and over again. It is sad that a man with so much talent and you can see his passion has such a Lame Show!!

The show was funny and engaging. Puddles is a very talented man. We appreciated that "Puddles" stayed after the show so anyone who desired a photo with him had the opportunity to take one. We did:) A must see show!

Love Puddles, he was superb. Sound volume was too high however. Parking was a nightmare. No one around to direct traffic ridiculous.

We saw Puddles in Columbus. It's the most fun I've ever had at a concert. I love his quirky sense of humor and performance art, and oh my gosh - the voice! If you get a chance to see Puddles, DO IT!

This was probably one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Amazing voice! And there is so much more than the music. He engages the crowd and with the audience participation it was really fun. It keeps you engaged in the entire show!

My wife and I had seen plenty of the videos and watched Puddles on AGT but none of that prepared us for his show. I thought he would just be singing a bunch of songs but his performance included many funny skits, audience participation and matching songs to video. Very polished, clean and professional show. It made us feel good. Highly recommended for anyone.

Puddles put on a wonderful show! The use of humor along with his great voice singing poignant lyrics made for interesting theater. I'd go see Puddles again in a minute!

I was expecting more singing than comedy but he favored his comedic mime. Reminded me of seeing Marcel Marceau many years ago. I would recommend for a live show.

The most fun I've ever had at a concert!. Puddles voice is even better in person, but he's much more than a singer. Performance art at it's best. I would highly recommend, and we will definitely see Puddles again.

Kevin Costner wasn't there. There was crying... but good crying. There's nothing like a good cry. Except for coffee and pie.

I ve seen 1 million concerts and comedians but I ve never seen anything like this. Totally unique warm funny delightful talented. I dragged my husband, he didn t know what to expect and he s a little afraid of clowns but he LOVED it and now can t stop talking about it. Puddles made everyone feel like they spent the evening with their best friend. He was interactive, one of the best voices I ve ever heard interned classic pop songs into legendary pieces. Very funny and never crass. Next time he comes I want to buy a large batch of tickets and take everyone I know and love. I cannot say enough. If you get the chance to -do it!

This is the second time I have seen Puddles here. Once again he put on a awesome show and this time we were able to meet him. Looking forward to seeing him again!!

The man is a giant in more ways than one. His persona is hysterical, sad and moving all at once. A talented mime to say the least. And when he sings, OMG. His arrangements are unique, unexpected and hypnotic. In summary this was the best show I have seen in many years.

Words really can't express the impact this show had on me. I had been a fan for about 3 years on youtube, and this was the first chance I had to see him live. With that much anticipation, there is always some possibility of disappointment. It was truly one of the best shows I've ever seen, and I'm in show business myself! If you get the chance, go!

Great show! Everyone was laughing and singing along. The show was sold out and there is no secret why.... Puddles Delivers!

I became a fan after seeing Puddles perform with Postmodern Jukebox and compete on AGT. I was so stoked when he came to Duke Energy Center...and his show was worth every penny! I purchased balcony seats which was fine given the small nature of the venue. I was just looking around before the show began when I heard a bunch of commotion and it was Puddles! He had made his way up to the balcony to greet us before he started his show, which was a nice touch. The show itself was great! Puddles was hilarious with his sketches and bits in between musical numbers. Audience participation is to be expected with this show and the audience participants were all good sports. My favorite being the guy Puddles got to karaoke All By Myself! After the near two-hour show, everyone was invited for Free Puddles Cuddles and photos. What a great way to spend an evening. I definitely recommend seeing Puddles!

What a tremendous talent. So many stayed after the show for photos that he has almost a cult following. I loved it.

Puddles is an amazing artist. It was a show, a memory, a sing along and clown act all in one. His voice is flawless. His show funny and entertaining. His hugs, THE BEST. You can tell he truly appreciates his fans and is so thankful for the support. He took time to meet everyone who wanted to. My son is 8 and enjoyed the whole experience very much. We recommend seeing Puddles when ever you can. We also recommend seeing any show at the Count Basie theater. There's not a bad seat in the place. And it's beautiful.

I'm a big fan of Puddles (and Mike Geier) but this was my very first Pity Party, so I was REALLY excited. I'd never been to the Count Basie Theater before and my visit didn't leave me disappointed. The venue is beautiful, there was a lot of parking available nearby (in municipal lots and on the streets; I found a spot right around the corner) and the staff was incredibly friendly... especially a particularly warm and funny lady named Sue who showed me to my seat. Can't forget the hysterical bathroom attendant lady, either, who kept things light-hearted with everyone standing in the long, post-show bathroom line. Really, really friendly staff in general. And even friendlier fans! I've been to a lot of concerts, but Puddles fans are a special breed. I was by myself and knew no one, but people were chatting with me left and right. It was a wonderful atmosphere. And then, of course, out came PUDDLES! The moment this man opened his mouth, I melted into my seat. His voice sounds like chocolate mousse tastes. Just warm and rich and soothing and... like heaven on Earth really. Without spoiling the show for those who haven't been to a Pity Party yet, you'll laugh and cry and even the clownphobic will fall head-over-heels in love with this big, cuddly clown with the sad face and golden voice. Puddles's stage presence is spell-binding and his voice gives goosebumps on every available inch of skin. He is AMAZING. I can't praise him enough. He will leave you breathless. Sometimes with laughter, sometimes with bittersweet reverie, sometimes with too many emotions to sort through at once... but it feels incredible. Afterwards, if you want to brave the long line of admirers, he hangs around for hugs and photos. I got both. Puddles gives great cuddles and sweetness radiates from him like a warm sunbeam. Up close, he has long eyelashes and very pretty-colored eyes. They look brown in photos, but have obvious undertones of green and gold when you see them in person. He is an extremely sweet human being and I'm still on Cloud 9 from having been blessed enough to be part of such a wonderful night. Thanks Puddles and Count Basie Theater. :)

Took our 16 year old son along with dear friends to see Puddles. We had an absolute blast. Puddles is unbelievably talented and he knows how to put on a show. The best part was seeing our dog Willy in the slide show. Perfect night

I thought he was only going to sing but he incorporated some light hearted comedy into his act and even had the audience participating. He has a fabulous voice and put on a good show. I highly recommend it. I was laughing all night.

Had no expectations and went to Puddles on a whim. The theater sounded great and the show Puddles put on far exceeded what I thought it would be.

The clown Pagliacci was laughing on the outside and crying on the inside... Puddles is a sad clown who clearly has mirth in his heart. Not only is Mike Geier (Puddles) a man with an amazing voice but his comical timing and improvisational skills are spot on! His show is combination vaudeville humor, artistic visuals, and of course Puddles' amazing vocal talent. If you are sitting near the front, be prepared to become part of the act!!

Not knowing what to expect, it was all that and more. Can't wait to see him again.

The audience was totally locked into the Puddles performance. Anyone who entered with any personal problems got the wonderful gift of letting go and living in the wonderful moment of Puddles almost two hours of joy! It was a great group experience. We laughed together, sang aloud with glee and were moved when moments of pathos occurred. This man's voice is unparalleled! No one left unhappy. Everyone should see him perform live at least once in their life!

I thought it would be somewhat entertaining to go and see Puddles. The show was a bit atypical in that he presents himself as a mime. But the mix of stagecraft and his signing was remarkable. I am looking forward to seeing him again and again when he tours anywhere near Florida. He perhaps is best bargain/deal for entertainment in existence!

Puddles Pity party had a well defined show . Lost me a few times with the Kevin Costner song clips and movie clips. His use of the audience members was fun . I like his singing voice and sad clown face . Venue seating was tough to sit on for two hours . The flat floor from the stage back ,makes viewing difficult . Would I run back to see this show ? overall ? For the times we live in ,it's a good time to laugh !

This was my second time seeing Puddles. It was even better than the first time. Seems like the more I see Puddles Perform the more I love him. Brought my Mother, Father and Brother and they all ad a blast. There was not a bad seat in the place and the staff and atmosphere were both awesome.

This was a show that my husband wanted to see, I was not sure I did, but much to my surprise it was great. Puddles Pity Party is brilliant. Very funny and engaging.

Not since Meatloaf back in the day have I ever seen anyone give so much on stage. I took one of my ex-students and he could not stop talking about how much his young daughter would appreciate this show. I'm over 50 and he's in his 30's. Puddles hit all the right chords emotionally and vocally. Thank you Big Mike for bringing it with all your heart.

My first time seeing Puddles and also my first time at Center Stage. Puddles was fantastic, interacting with the audience and extremely entertaining... Very talented and original act was a great combination of Music, Comedy and Theater.. Absolutely loved the show and the Venue was perfect for his act. I would definitely go back again.

Puddles is as entertaining as ever! I pre-paid for parking in advance not realizing how far the parking garage was from the venue for a handi-capped person.

This show was amazing! The venue was nice and comfortable, and the acoustics were spectacular. Puddles is a phenomenal entertainer! His show was family friendly, funny, engaging and left you wanting more with every skit. And did I mention he can sing like no one I've ever heard before?! I didn't want the show to end!! Puddles even did a meet and greet with the audience before and after the show, even coming up into the balcony where we were sitting. He's truly a class act in my book and we will definitely see him again if he comes back to the Walker Theater!
