seeing all the surprise guests. Riders In The Sky, Randy Owen. Never would I have dreamed to see Randy. I got the ticket for my son since he is a huge Luke Bryan fan.

A great collection of female country artists entertained the sold out and enthused Orpy House audience. The line up included Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan, Amy Grant and Leann Rimes. Other than the intermission the action and entertainment was non-stop due to it being a live broadcast. Very enjoyable and very entertaining. It is highly recommended to take the Grand Ole Opry House tour at some point, preferably prior to seeing the show. The tour is very interesting, entertaining and informative.

The Opry show was great, however, we found out too late that autograph passes for the speed part were being given out for Dale Jr on Friday. My son came all the way from Maryland to see and get an autogrpah and we didn't even go. We knew that we would not get to see him, so I am very disappointed in the way that was handled. It is not fair for some who have the advantage to be there early and paid the same price for tickets that we did. Also, there were a few really drunk people at the show on Friday night and I think that there should be some kind of way to not serve these people!

The first of the two shows at the Ryman Auditorium as part of the Sound and Speed Festival was great. Jason Michael Carroll's version of He Stopped Loving Her Today made me cry as does the original by George Jones everytime I hear it. Danny Gokey made his Opry debut during the show. Seeing the Opry at the Ryman is the only way to go. I am glad my annual visit to Nashville always happens during the time they leave the "new" Opry House and return to the Ryman. I would recommend a show at the Ryman to anyone whether a fan of country music or not.

Having the Sound and Speed concert at the Opry this year was awesome! You were able to experience such a great combination of musicians! With Vince Gill as the host, the night was great. Got to experience Opry classics like Bill Anderson, Riders in the Sky, and little Jimmy Dickins - in addition to the scheduled performers, Holly Williams, Hank Williams Jr., Chris Young. Seeing Hank Williams Jr. actually perform on the Opry stage and sing about his father was absolutely breathtaking!

The concertt at the Ryman was excellent with appearances by Hank Williams Jr ; Vince Gill; Chris Young and others. HOWEVER the show at the Municipal Auditorium was a joke . You had to wait in line to get a pass for one autograph. There was only 200 passes available so most people couldn't get one. The drivers were only a few of them at each session to see. What a joke! You can see better at any race but you still rarely can get close enough for an autograph. There was nothing else there but a few cars and a couple of sponsers . If this wasn't for such a good cause I would have wanted my money back.

It was great to have the Nascar drivers on stage, to bad they all were not at both shows.

I have attended several Sound and Speed Concerts in the past and I am deeply sorrow to say that this was the worse one yet. It was set up just like any other Opry Show and I would have loved to seen more time with less Artists than 2 songs from everyone that was there. I was also dissappointed that Jascon Michael Carroll was only for the 7:00 show. I enjoyed Hank Williams Jr but if it was like the shows in the past I would loved to heard him for an hour to hour and half like I did from Montgomery Gentry and Alan Jackson. If the future shows are set up like this year's show I would probably skip the show.

The sound portion of sound and speed was great. Although there were some of the artists that were advertised that did not appear it was an overall great performance from the performing acts.

It had the best of both worlds-Nascar drivers making appearances, Opry Legends Music, Newcomers and the latest stars singing! My 7 year old was amazed as well as myself-the only downside was, as soon as it was over they pushed you out a door into the snow and freezing temps, with no shelter-since they had another performance. We literally froze until we could get a taxi!

Love the Grand Ole Opry show but felt a little cheated to find out that the late show had Hank Williams Jr and Vince Gill. Very disappointed that we didn't get the big names at the early show. Was not told they were added until after I bought the tickets. :-(

I loved the performances at the Ryman. I think that Chris Young and Kyle Petty were my favorites.

I go to the Opry 5 - 10 times a year. It was good to Hank Williams Jr. there. He should be invited back often.

We attended the 7:00 show and truly enjoyed it. We heard people/groups we had never heard before. Danny Gokey was great as well as Chris Young. Kyle Petty surprised me by how comfortable he was on stage.

Chris Young was great...enjoyed his duet with Vince Gill I went to the concert expecting to see people who ended up being on a different show time. Very disappointing. The seating was terrible...the people in front of us stood the entire time...talked the entire time and were completely drunk out of their minds. It made for a very disappointing evening

The "headline" performances were great. However, I think having it in an Opry setup totally ruined the event. I enjoy the Opry but if I wanted to go to the Opry I can go anytime during the year. I have been to 2 other Sound & Speed concerts and they were much better when you could go and enjoy each performers music for a fair amount of time. I was not the only one who felt this way. I heard others around me complaining of the same issue.
