Both bands delivered an excellent, energetic and tight performance. Embrace's set in particular was one rocker after another. The bands were relaxed and in high spirits - this was their last of ten shows on their North American tour.

as always Starsailor put on an excellent show. the venue change to Slims added to the good time. wish they played more of their song library, but what they gave was full of the starsailor energy. the fact that they don't come around often makes it a road trip must to see them. party on dudes!

Second time seeing starsailor, first time embrace so expectations were high, Venue change about week before, not worried as Slims is smaller and sound is excellent Embrace were on first and rocked through their set, only have heard their recent stuff before, which is good, but their older stuff was very good, didn't matter if ttey were first on or second, they played like they were headlining and got the crowd going. Starsailor did the same, played all their good old stuff and really interacted with the audience, In my eyes they have always been very underrated,I saw this band about 10 years ago and they sound just as good now than back then.

Starsailor are easily one of my favorite bands...Love is Here with the single Good Souls years ago was good and I think they have come really far from that single that got them attention in the US. Each cd since then has gone further and their lyrics and sound come together really well into a great live set. James the lead singer is a good storyteller, engages the crowd some, but not too much...really keeps the focus on the music. I don't quite get why they are not more popular...100% recommend going to see them and altering plans to make it happen if necessary!! I have seen them 6 or 7 times at various venues and will always make a point of seeing them whenever possible.
