Frankie Beverly was nothing short of amazing! The entire lineup was amazing. Doug E Fresh was the perfect start. He definitely is the best entertainer alive! Followed by Ginuwine who mellowed the crowd out just before Dru Hill came and sparked us up again in preparation for The Great Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly! I will never forget this moment.

Frankie Beverly and Maze gave an extremely energetic and entertaining 105 minute performance at the Richmond Landmark Theater on Friday night. The band and its' music was flawless. You could hear that the core body of this group has been together well over 40 plus years. Musicality of the performance was superb. If you have not seen Maze in the past five plus years, you owe it to yourself to attend their next performance in your area. You will not be disappointed. MONEY well spent!

Frankie Beverly put on a fabulous show. The dilemma for me and most ticket buyers was sitting there having to wait for two hours before Frankie came out. I think the pre-show was somewhat of a bust.

Although Frankie's voiced has aged a bit, for the most part, he can still hold his own. However, the band was not the same. It sounded like a "watered down version" of Maze. That original Hammond B3 organ sound wasn't there anymore. The overall sound had too much "booming bass". No distinction between the kick drum and bass guitar, although the kick had a good attack. There was some distortion on the low end at times.

TO SEE FRANKIE BEVERLY AND MAZE IS AN AWESOME EVENT. FRANKIE REALLY OUT PERFORMED HIMSELF FRIDAY. THE SONGS ARE THE SAME BUT THE RHYTHM IS ALWAYS SO FRESH. FRANKIE WAS FEELING THE CROWD AND VICE VERSA. IT S GREAT TO KNOW THAT FRANKIE PLAY FOR THE LOVE OF THE PEOPLE WHO LOVE HIS MUSIC AND ARE LONGTIME FOLLOWERS. Frankie Beverly always give 100%. Show started an hour late. Opening music didn't match audience. Comedian, Bam Bam was hilarious. If tickets weren't' so expensive, would've been sold out.

This was my 5th time seeing MAZE featuring Frankie Beverly and they never let me down. Everything you expect it to be and more. We danced damn near the entire show. I left feeling like I had been on the dance floor at a club all night, and I wouldn't have it any other way! Love, love, love these guys!

I went to the concert expecting just the artists that were listed on the ticket. Imagine my surprise when Reuben Studdard was there. What a great bonus!! Not to mention that Fantasia was AWESOME!!! What a show! Extra bonus!! My friends and I were moved to VIP seating because our view was obstructed. Couldn't ask for anything better.

It was great seeing the diversified performers. Time is catching up with some of the gentlemen. Too much time between the first and second act. And the performers should know they are not in Memphis-it is Southaven.

The intermission between the acts was long, but the Entire show was Great. MC Lighfoote was Hilarious, Ruben did is thing, Fantasia was SUPER!!. Isley Brothers Were Good, My MAN FRANKIE BEVERLY & MAZE TOOK IT HOME... A-MAZE-ING.... LOVED IT. That was my first time at the landers center nice venue. The only thing i enjoyed was fantasia she really put on a show. The isley brothers were horrible so was maze this was my second time going to see them never again they need to retire and sit down cause they dont have it no more it was just horrible ron isley couldn't even sing i am very very disappointed also the mc did a hell of a job with the crowd .o an shout out to the bartender she made my night ok her drinks were on point

I had never seen Maze before and I've heard people say "they will sing you tired". They were right. I was so tired by the time they finished. Frankie had so much energy, it was ridiculous in a good way. This was an anniversary gift from my husband. We had a wonderful time. It was one of my best gift ever!!! Isley Brothers song all of my favorite songs, but I feel Fantasia was the best. She was of the best performers of the night. Great job Fantasia. I would recommend this concert because it's for an older crowd and everyone was laid back with the signicant other during the romantic times. Make sure you are rested up before you go because it started at 6:30 and it was about 12:15 before it was over.

The overall experience of the show was great; however, the set-up between sets was horrible...I have experienced previously while attending a show there....there has to be a much much better way to set up the stage between acts. Even though the comedian was great, i can say that, the lag time was too long. Landers need to do better....Now, the show, I really did enjoy...All of the performers were good. I will always give Fantasia a standing ovation because she gives her heart in all of her performances....Ruben was great, i haven't seen him in concert in a while but he was good....Ron Isley...well i will say im glad he had his back - up because he was lip-syncing......think its about time for him to retire...but his show was good....NOW MAZE.....Frankie is getting better, last couple times ive seen him it seems his voice wasn't there anymore but this last performance was on point.......

I had heard and read that Frankie Beverly does not possess the voice that he once did. And it is true - he has lost some of the finer elements of his voice, BUT the energy and power are still there. Additionally, the band is still as good as ever. I don't know anyone who goes to a concert expecting to hear studio perfection. You attend a concert to experience spontaneity, excitement, energy and nostalgia. You get all those and more from these guys. So, why the four stars instead of five? Because his voice has suffered to the point that even he knows it and he doesn't even attempt those notes that he was famous for. Don't miss the show! Attending is a chance to pay homage to a man who has given us so much enjoyment over his long career. You will leave satisfied.

I have seen this amazing group at least 7 times in concert and each and every time I see them, they evoke the same feelings in me: feelings of love, joy and utter happiness!!!! I feel so sorry for the up in coming generation because they will never experience music like this. Every last act was da bomb. I have no words to explain other than simply amazing. Patti LaBelle's tribute on the over screen of her friends and her friends who passed when she sang "You Are My Friend" was absolutely beautiful. Very very touching. I don't have to say anything about the O'Jays or Frankie Beverly cause YAL already now!!!!!!! They always get the party started and Frankie wore me and my friends OUT from dancing, loooool. It was one of the best shows I've ever been to!!!!!

everyone brought their A game..particularly loved the O'Jays meet and greet ..getting out of the parking lot was crazy because everyone goes every which way in all directions and staff was a bit over bearing stopping picture taking when i know for a fact these performers don't have a problem with it..staff needs to relax a bit at the mann

I love Frankie Beverly and Maze. I have yet to go to one of their concerts and not be satisfied completely and believe me I go to right many of them. Whenever he is near my hometown I try to go or when I'm on vacation like in Houston, Tx or anywhere and he's there, I'm going. I thoroughly enjoyed this concert, had a great seat in the pit. I've never been this close to him, he is FINE.... He's like wine, gets better with time. God Bless him and Maze.

F. B and Maze were amazing as always but the opening acts were very subpar. I think when you have legends like FB & Maze who have a live band their opening acts need to be artist that perform with a live band as well. I paid a lot of money for those tickets and just left unsatisfied. It also was difficult to enjoy myself when everyone around me is on social media recording the ENTIRE show.

I had an amazing time with Frankie Beverly and Maze, Dru Hill and Ginuwine. My son enjoyed Doug E Fresh. Overall I think that there needs to be more concerts with the same flavor.

From the beginning with Doug E. Fresh to the end with Maze was an amazing show. The mixture of old school music mastery was an appeal for all mature adults. I would gladly attend another show with this powerful caliber groups.

The event was extremely overpriced. I paid $170.00 for 4 tickets that I believe were close to the stage. Needless to say, they were not. Also, I sat in from of two drunks who should have been ejected!!!!! The sound system was horrible!!!!!!! Frankie Beverly was great as usual. For the most part, the remaining groups were good.

All I can say is it was the most awesome incredible concert I have been to in my life. I have been to many. Every performance was outstanding and being in the outdoor amphitheatre at the Mann was the perfect setting, due to agreeable weather, to compliment the entire evening. I attended the concert in Philly and may have to go to DC to catch it again next month. Frankie, if you read this please tell your lead guitar player i fell in love with him Friday night!wink.............................................he was transcending.

Listen, if you are a true R&B fan then this concert was designed with you in mind. What more could you ask for...Tank, Babyface, Patti Labelle, The O'Jays AND Maze! Incredible lineup. Everyone did their thing from sun down to dawn! Literally, because the show was over a little before midnight!

The O'Jays reminded me of my summer vacations to Arkansas. I loved their performance-excellent! Patti's vocals were on point. She might not have given us the bells and whistles, but at this stage in the game, I enjoy listening to great singing. Thanks Patti for going beyond yourself for your fans! Every song was appreciated - I'm praying for you, Miss Diva! Maze worked it out! Thanks Frankie for clearing up any misunderstanding.
