It's too bad there was a small crowd for the show, because it was a wonderful evening. Tom Wopat has great command of his material, and he and his trio were clearly having fun on stage. His self-deprecating humor and the stories he wove in between the songs made the entire concert flow wonderfully. He spent time before and after the show in the lobby meeting with fans, always with a smile.

Highly disappointing. This concert was like watching a middle school Christmas concert except it wasn't Christmas and I didn't have any kids on stage. I was excited about going to the Grand Ole Opry and couldn't believe the low quality of the show that was being staged, especially at $60 dollars a seat. Most people did figure it out, though, as very few seats were sold. The marketing ploy of selling it as a "celebrity" concert was disingenuous.

The Children's Chorus was amazing! They worked so hard to be on that stage and it paid off. Maybe next time "the celebrities" could be as prepared and not have to bring their music on stage with them or admit they did not know the words to the song they had just performed.
