My husband and I were thrilled with the variety of the groups at this concert. It is amazing that there are still that so artists able to provide such talented performances after all these years. There are older but some of them still have moves like teenagers and their voices have not changed either. The show was almost three hours of total nostalgia and we loved every minute.

I was surprised at how good all the groups were. They still have the voice and the movements that they had so many years ago. Even though I was a kid when some of this music was originally on the radio, I remembered most of the songs that they sang. My friend and I really had a great time. The only complaint I have is that the Fox theater won't allow taking pictures or videos. It's not like our phones or a camera have the old flash bulbs that they used to have that could really bother the performers. Anyway, GREAT SHOW!

What a show!!! From the opening act, Deke and The Blazers to Charlie Thomas and The Drifters...a total explosion of doo-wop heaven. Kicking in with an acapella group set the mood for the night...street corner like it was sung in the 50's. Group after group didn't fail to excite and keep the fingers poppin' and the feet a rockin'. Especially loved Eugene Pitt, he can still hit it. The Skyliners brought back memories of high school. Kathy Young sounded as good as she did at 14 and it sounded like The Innocents behind her. What a natural high. Charlie Thomas set a high level of excitement, I was dancing out of my seat with everyone else. The Spaniels Peace of Mind was goose bumpling. The groups, the venue and the MC's passion made for a special night out for me and my wife. Come on back Canterbury....please!!

Def. a great show. The only thing I'd change would be to add more Chrsitmas songs, but all in all the show was awesome. Would go again next year if they come back. Keep up the good job presenting these shows.

I enjoyed the show due to the various artists, most which were very good and several exceptional. The band was great but I was disappointed in the lighting effects which were almost non-existent. The announcer didn t add much value either.

What a great evening of fun and entertaiment from performers who just know how to perform and enjoy doing so for themselves and the audience. A trip back in time when things were a bit simpler and realzing. Those times were once again brought ti life by the groups who did them the first time around, with some help, but the voices were oh so great all night long. If you love music then don't miss the next chance to see Doo Wop groups show you their love for music as well.

I've seen many Doo-Wop concerts but never have I seen so many marvelous groups in one marvelous setting,The Fabulous Fox. Not since the Motortown Reviews have those walls rocked like they did Friday night. The show started out high and just kept building higher and higher. From the opening act,Deke and The Blazers doing it streetcorner style thru the polished and multitalented Drifters bringing the entire audience to their feet for encore after encore, this was the epitome of entertainment. The pace of the show was set by the MC Henry Farag and kept there by each and every one of the talented, original groups. The meet and greet after the show was the frosting on the cake; meeting these originators of rock and roll. Please, please keep this show coming back again and again.

The show was fantastic. The only questionable things was "Yule Pop". I was lead to believe each group would sing a Christmas Song. Not really a complaint, but the Event Name should have just remain Doo Wop. All the groups were great to see and sang as I remembered.

I had two tickets to the Doo Wop in the front row that I gave to a good friend. At the last minute I decided to "tag along" and get a single ticket and sit by myself about half-way up on the main floor. The show was fabulous and is a "must see". I sat by myself and had a blast !!! I pretty much don't miss any concerts in my area and like music from Aerosmith to the Stones to Garth Brooks, Eddie Money, and Avril Lavigne...even, Peter Frampton. I can't even describe how incredibly talented these performers I just saw at the "Doo Wop" are. I am not that much into "doo wop" but if you are between the ages of 35 and 65 you absolutely have got to see this. Acts sing from 3 to 4 of their well-recognized hits that you have heard for years on the radio and in movies even today. The concert moves quickly and it's Master of Cerimonies adds a nice touch as he introduces each act. Your toe's just won't stop "tappin'." Afterwards you can meet all of the Stars you just saw on stage for autographs of which the signing session was well organized so the line moved at a good pace. You will be up and down in your seat applauding these fantastic artists. I just can't imagine the promoter amassing this many Stars on stage again...so please don't miss it....and yes, don't be afraid to go alone as everyone had one thing in common....they had a GREAT time !!! Unforgetable !!!!! Finally, My friends that I gave my first two tickets to liked the concert so much that they told me, "we will never forget this.... we owe you for life". Good times !!!

Took Two other couples with us. had seen a few other Doo Wop shows that were disappointing. This Doo Wop program was the best. The entertainment was great, The Fox theatre is the best. We as a group just had a great time, not wanting it to end, the evening flew by. The entertainers were great, and we are hoping for a return engagement down at the Fox. I don't know how many groups are left out there but a massive reunion would be an automatic show stopper. The Motown groups and maybe bring in the Getter from Phily. to be a guest MC and show some film clips from his dance show he had on T.V. back in the 80's. Thank you again.

A great Doo Wop show. The Drifters with Charlie Thomas closed the show with energy ,and had the entire audience standing. Ten groups played their greatest hits , including The Tokens and Reflections. A nice show from fom start to finish.

This was truly an unforgettable experience. No matter their age, the voices were still awesome. The only thing better than the concert itself was the venue it was held in. The Fox Theatre is truly an amazing place and just added to the perfect evening. I would recommend this concert to any Doo Wop fan and can't wait for the next one to come to town!

Great event at a terrific venue. The stars hanging around after the show in the lobby to talk to attendees was really cool. Many class acts from Detroit returning here to perform. I would attend it again.
