I decided to propose to my girlfriend of three years in front of the stadium. She is a former U.W. Rower, a walk on, class of 2010! I got down on one knee and told her that the first time I brought her here I called her my girlfirend and that this being the second time I want to call you my wife. To no suprise she said yes and blanketed me beforeI could stand back up. I had coordinated with a friend to take pictures, so all the pictures are 100% reaction. It was perfect! The seats were great, and ended up being much more than expected. I am very glad I was able to plan this, and it went off without a hitch! By the way we won U.W. beat Arizona State!

We were among the 72,000+ helping the D all we could! I have not heard Husky Stadium that loud since the Nebraska night game in '92. Even walking through the thousands of purple tailgaters north of the stadium I got this sense that everyone knew Husky football was back, and they were about to prove it to the whole country. The name Don James was on nearly everyone's lips. Really epic statement game ... this city has TWO very good football teams now. I hadn't felt that way walking out of Husky Stadium since the 31-0 thrashing of Todd Marijuanavich's top ranked USC Trojans in '90. ("Purple ... All I saw was purple!") That game also announced Washington was back ...

Went to this game a few years ago before the total remodel of Husky Stadium; it is a greatly improved experience now. Even though UCLA lead throughout, the UDub fans were classy from start to finish, cheering for the Huskies, not obnoxious like other schools that will remain nameless. The new main grandstands are improved versions of the demolished originals, the stands are close to the field to compensate for the height. The jumbotron board behind the Lake Washington side endzone is massive, and UDub does a great job showing replays for every snap. The food stands serve decent food, moderately priced.

I would have liked to go to this game since I bought a ticket. However, UW chose to move the game to a night game for television and I didn't go due to the lateness of the game and the time it would take for me to get home after. I will not be buying tickets to UW games in the future unless the kickoff time is shown on the ticket -- no more buying tickets with "TBA" as the game time. SInce I wasted the money and didn't go, it is unlikely I will buy another ticket to a UW game. Certainly won't be going to night games ever. I just don't want to navigate my way home at midnight from Husky Stadium. Too bad you chose TV money over your fans attending the game.

I love the Huskies and keep attending regardless of how the football game turns out. However, I have noticed a disappointing trend - use of loud, canned music throughout the game. First of all, the music is too loud and does not set the tone of getting the crowd excited. Why isn't the Husky Band playing any longer? Why is there fog coming out of a the tunnel versus a tunnel made by the Band. In other parts of the country, this would be considered horrible. But in the Northwest, we have a different understanding of where bands fit in football. My hope is that the Athletic Director will realize the jewel he has in 250 performers for the entire day and start letting them play again instead of canned music and un-important announcements.

What an awesome game! And not only because Nebraska came away with a big road game victory. I don't know that I've ever been in a stadium so loud! And who can beat the view... we had a great view of the field, with lake and mountains as a backdrop. WA fans are great too.

Great home opener for the Huskies. They started off slow and had me worried. But they found their groove and showed what they are capable of. Hope the rest of the season goes as well. Nebraska and USC will be the true tests.

How do you review a football game? Game started off rocky, but the Dawgs got things going and there was no stopping them. Our seats were really far away from the game though! Recommend listening to 950 am on a radio to get more play information. A big group of us rented a boat at Fisherman's terminal, cruised Lake Washington for 3 hours and he docked right behind the stadium and came back to get us after the game. A great way to get to the games.

Good game! Loved watching. Seats are not big enough though. We were crunched when a wide shouldered man sat next to us. We were on the numbered bleachers. Also, not much parking. We were a long walk away from the stadium.

Everything about the stadium is awesome. The whole experience of the pre-game, half time performances, after game traditions just add to what is already an awesome experience (the game itself!). The only thing I would change is that it is time to change up your singers of the National Anthem. It's always the same person, singing it the same way each and every time.

The Husky Game was a good entertainment but there were several detractions. First the 7:30 start time in late Nov is a negative for me. Second the cost for section 330 seats seems excessive and finally the rest rooms for section 330 are not even close. You have to go down the ramp to the next level to reach them. I would not pay the current price to go to a game given the same circumstances.

The Pac-12 has gone to TBA start times to make more money from TV. This is to the detriment of the fan attending live events. There were many no-shows and a lot of leave-earlies due to the cold night in November. The league may make more money in the short term but will lose fans in the long run. Change the policy. I won't buy tickets for a TBA start time event again.

I spent $1,000 for six mid-field seats and I should have taken everyone to a good restaurant and bought quality wine for everyone. A better use of my money. Let's start with the weather...awful...windy...cold...wet. Okay...that's football in October...I can live with it. Moving on...the game time was moved from 12:00 to 7:45. The people who schedule these games obviously don't attend them. We got home at 2:00 am. Since when does everyone in front of you stand for the entire game? Why am I paying for a seat when I never sit...but stand...otherwise you can't see the field. Watching the Husky football team was like watching a high school football team...not much talent on either side of the ball...and definitely not worth what I paid. It's gonna be a long season for Dawg fans. The Huskies were lucky the Sun Devils did not beat them by 30 points. Honestly...not very entertaining...on the field or at any other time...boring. The restrooms at Husky stadium...anyone ever clean them? Where's supervision? I've seen bathrooms in Somalia that were cleaner. Get some supervisors off their butts and clean the restrooms! Next time...spend the money on Seahawk tickets...much more fun.

At half time, I stood in line at 3 different refreshment stalls just to find out when I got to the counter that they ran out of coffee. It was a warm day in Seattle and I wanted some coffee. Unlike many others who had their share of alcoholic beverages in their system, I was looking for coffee to keep myself warm. They should either brew more coffee or put up a sign that says there is no more coffee so fans don't waste their time standing in long lines

I purchased 2 seats for my dad and stepmom, as a gift for my dad's birthday. He is an alumnus of the University of Washington and hadn't been in their new stadium until this game. THEY HAD A BALL. He said the seats "couldn't get any better," the weather was amazingly sunny and warm for a late September day in Seattle, and although the Huskies fell short of a victory, it was an exciting, close game from start to finish. Ticketmaster made the ticket-buying process super-simple, they came in the mail with plenty of time before the game, and there was no issue at all with me purchasing them and "gifting" them to someone else. A great memory, for sure!

The accompanying boat ride from Chinooks was a highlight both ways. The game outcome was exciting, seats were good, but other fans were inconsiderate. New stadium is awesome. Overall the day was lots of fun. A game during the regular season, with season ticket holders and students will probably be more pleasant and less stressful. That the game was so uneven, with the Huskies playing poorly in the first half and well in the second was a big surprise, but it turned out well.

Well, seems like American football is not my thing. I am a first generation immigrant from Russia and I did not grow up with this sports. I desided to check it out, because watching Superball on TV was fun. No offense to the fans, but the game was too slow, 10 seconds action and 10 minutes of walking-talking, etc. We were sitting at the touchdown terrace - what a terrible set of seats. With the exception of the Huskies losing the game I was very happy with the entire experience. The park and ride from Federal Way to the stadium and the return was very organized and very efficient. The climb up the on-ramps went well and the guides were very helpful! The climb starting at row AA all the way up to our row EZ is one that I won't soon forget. It was indeed a fitness test as I'm 74 and my brother-in-law (an Oregon Duck alumness) is 79 with two knee replacements! I was very glad that I exercise regularly and stay very active. It really made it easier climbing when the decline of oxygen in my lungs became apparent! I look forward to a Husky team that will be at the highest level of performance and a new stadium to show off their talent!!

Watched the game in the nosebleed section, the best seats I could get before the season even started. The stadium is so-so, good lighting, well maintained, but the design leaves much to be desired. Track around the field prevents close seating, tickets in the second level decks are a waste of money. Couldn't see the replay screen from these seats. Need binoculars to see much of anything. Needed to go all the way down to ground level for best food stands. For a November night game, lucky it did not rain or snow, 37F.

Gameday in November was a wonderful experience in the renovated Husky Stadium. Had not been there for some time. The event moves along fast, even with the TV timeouts added, because of the band's sound picked up on the stadium sound system, and several fan contests taking place during longer time outs, or between quarters. Wood go again.

We got extremely lucky to catch a very sunny day in Seattle for the Apple Cup. The stadium has great views of the lake, the mountains, and the space needle (if you're standing in the right spot)! The crowd was great, and the game was a total blowout. The huskies kicked butt! The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star review is the beer garden gets so busy at half time that they have to stop people from going in. Since you can't take the alcohol in the rest of the stadium, people aren't leaving as soon as they get their drink. We never got into the beer garden during halftime, and that was kind of a bummer. Everything else was cool though.

While both teams made some mistakes with penalties, etc -- the outcome of the game was really decided by who got the benefit of the doubt on judgement calls by the officials. In this case the ranked team got the benefit of the doubt for calls in their favor and the unranked team did not. In MY opinion, the way these calls were going to be made was decided BEFORE the game was played. Utah is the more marketable team to the NCAA and Pac 12. It is all about the money. The only way Washington was going to win that game was to have been perfect in all aspects.

Starting a college football game at 8Pm in Seattle is just plain bad for the game, the fans and the players. Getting home at midnight isn't good. The stadium was half full but would have been largely full if held earlier. Didn't even know starting time until 10 days before. So after 30 years of going to Husky games I will stop and stay home. It seems to be what the school wants as TV money trumps fan/alumni experience and support.

The game was excellant because of our win. The only negatives: 1, Sound System of Clink was marginal at best in upper seats 2. Railroad/ Pedestrian Overpass from North Lot was crowded and inefficient. There should be a seperate isle for rail traffic. Positives: 1. Using Exhibition Hall as access to game made security check far more efficient than people in North Lot that waited almost to end of 1st quarter. 2. Century Link Staff was outstanding and very professional. Overall experience was good and a fun event to attend. A good Dry run for next season.

My only complaint is the way you present Century Link Field when selecting a ticket. I had an impression when looking at the map that our tickets were in the NW section (upper right) of the stadium and not SE. So, a little North arrow would help in knowing where to walk and enter / leave the stadium. Otherwise, the experience, and especially the GAME, was great!

We got in line 40 min before game, but still missed 1st touchdown. Have never had this problem getting in to Husky stadium & don't ever remember ever having that much difficulty getting in to a Seahawk game. When we got to search area after waiting all this time in line they told my husband that the line was for women only & he had to go to another line for men, we said not a chance. They sure did know how to put a damper on beginning of a game we were looking forward to. They had better get it figured out by next season since all the games are going to by at this venue, or people will be up in arms. I have attended many sporting events, concerts, etc and this was the worst experience getting in to a event I have ever experienced. Once we were in and seated the game & final outcome were awesome!

I felt That the tickets were overpriced. We sat just below some Husky fans that were drinking heavily. Their language was foul and their sportsmanship extremely poor. Then we saw someone get hit in the face, fall down and get knocked out cold on the sidewalk on the way out. I am still worried about that young man. On the whole, it was an unpleasant experience, and I would much rather watch it at home next time.

First & Goal was out to make money on this game and didn't think of the fan experience when selling tickets. There was no home field advantage and fans were intermingled. If Husky Athletics weren't taking responsibility for ticket sales for the 2012 season, I would be reconsidering tickets for next year.

Great event, well hosted, and great result! The C Link is a state of the art facility.

They have something like 8 gates. They only opened 2. I missed the entire 1st quarter of the game waiting in their stupid unnecessary line. It took us 45 minutes from when we got the the front gates to get in! We nearly got puked on twice by other people waiting in line and had to stand next to the puke on the ground for a long time so that we didn't lose our places in line. Pull your heads out of whatever holes you put them in. I have no plans to ever go this venue again despite being a Sounders fan. I am a also a Century Link customer, who is the venue's sponsor. They will also be getting a piece of my mind. The game itself was fun. The facilities where excellent.

The game was great. Qwest Field was Awesome! Everyone was respectful and I had a great time with my 18 year old cougar fan and my 12 year old Husky daughter. We are a house divided. The price of the ticket was ok but the $4.00 for a soda was WAY too much. the Hot Chocolate and food needs to be A LOT less expensive in order for us to attend any home games for the Huskies next year.

It took us an hour to get into the stadium. It takes 5 minutes to get into a Seahawks game. It was so disorganized, and people kept cutting into line. Police were around but did nothing. Put a horrible vibe on what was otherwise a great game.

We got in line for a 4:30 kick-off at 4:00 and weren't able to get to our seats until 5 minutes into the first quarter. We missed the first three possessions and the first touchdown. No one knew for sure if they were in the right line and there was no one outside advising people where to go. There were apparently only 3 or 4 doors to get into the entire stadium. We have never had these kind of problems getting into Husky Stadium. It had better be fixed by next year. Do they treat Seahawk fans this way?

The game was great since the UW Huskies won and the crowd was totally into the game. The only complaint we have was the lack of entrance options before the game. It appeared that about only half of the entrances were open compared to a Seahawks game.

This was the first game I had my whole amily with me and I enjoyed it greatly. Everything from the bus ride to the game, Tailgate section, the stadium, and the game was unforgetable. I'll do this again next year.

Entry into the stadium was awful. Extremely long lines to get thru two checkpoints. One security, one for tickets. My ticket stated alcohol was allowed in my section, which was not true. Beer garden access was ridiculously slow because of a lack of them. Drinks were $10 for a rum and coke, with maybe a half shot of rum. 50,000 students pretty well tailgated out by 4:30PM game time. Lots of "F" words and passive-aggressive teasing. Really...........I'm no prude and I'm pretty flexible myself, but there is no way I'd go again, and I'd recommend no kids at all. No wonder no booze at college games on campuses. Good thing? The end zone seats were great. I'd do that again in a heartbeat.

C-Link Gate People had no clue how to handle the fans that showed up for the game. Many of us waited for over an hour, and missed a lot of the game, as C-Link personnel stood by locked gate doors and observed us stuck in line. No effort was made to open locked gate doors, although a few more personnel were added to the two gates open after the game started. A terrible gate experience at this field. We're unlikely to attend any more events here. (Game was a good one, however! Wish we could have seen it all)

Centurylink is much better than either of the University venues, goes without saying. It was loud, but that is how the stadium was designed. We have season tickets to the Seahawk games and never realized how loud it can be, but I think it was the location of our seats, higher and around a corner compared to our SH seats.

Great game! Fantastic ending (yes, I'm bias) I missed being on campus for the game but worked out well.. aside from needing binoculars to see the game.

I waited over an hour to get into the game at the north entrance. With 10,000 people in line, the Huskies had four people checking bags. This is a travesty!

Game was great! Seats were so high up I had to brush the snow off of them. Even looking through my binoculars the players looked small.

Wow, great views from every seat, and the place was much louder than Husky Stadium! Classic cross state rivalry, with big places, close game at times, and just a big time Pac-12 event!
