I loved the concert itself, the wait wasn't that long and everyone was very polite. The sound was terrific. The only thing i didn't think was fair was that some of the vip people were getting to go behind the curtain to meet him, I believe if you were going to do something like that then you should take like the first 3-4 rows in vip and gen adm. The souvenirs were in the right place and priced just right as well. If i get the chance to go to another concert up there i would definitely tell all my friends about it and persuade them to go as well.

Mark still has the greatest singing voice as he did when I used to see him years ago. I haven't seen him in about 10 or so yrs. He still has the voice of an angel that god gave him. Loved the show. Wished I'd had better seats though(pole in our way).

A few problems getting the sound right early, but Mark 's vocals sounded as pure as I remembered. Song selection was outstanding. I only wish he had played longer. Concert ran about 1:15 including a single song encore. I was ready for more.

mark was absolutely amazing! i love going to concerts and have been to a lot of them. i would put this concert in the top 3 of the over 100 i have been to. the vip general admission seating was great! we were 4th row (about 15 feet from the stage), center stage! he even took time out to shake our hands at the end of the show. i liked it so much, i went back the second night and i will go every time he comes to the st. louis area! great music, great entertainment, great beer...all make for a great concert! thanks mark!!!

He sounded great but his back was to us most of the time. Our seats were to his right as he stood at the microphone. He played for an hour and I thought it would last a little longer than that. It was still a good show and we really enjoyed it! He too is a great singer.

Mark Chesnutt was amazing!!! However, the rodeo was disappointing. Especially since the clown and announcer were both there again on Friday and did the exact same act. They could have mixed it up a little bit.

Was assigned row 2, one of the center sections, right next to an entrance. People standing in the entrance constantly blocked my view - throughout the evening. One set of 3 couples spent more time going back and forth for more beer (meanwhile standing in front of me and talking with each other) than doing anything else. Seemed they weren't really interested in the rodeo. The lone usher couldn't really keep the area clear. Audio was incredibly loud, even through 30db earplugs (and we wonder why 40% of the kids in our Jr. Hi. schools have measurable hearing loss !!?) Rodeo (what I saw of it) was good. Next time I'll remember that "bull riding" on TV doesn't have any of the drawbacks of this setup (and it is free). FYI - My first rodeo was in 1947. Overall, this has to rank among the worst - all because of crowd behaviour and loud audio.

The sound system suck and I think he called it early because of the squeals in his mic. I am a member of his fan club, with a meet and greet pass and had to be last to meet him while winners of a radio contest and elders got to go through and then when I did get my chance I was rush because of the time limit. It was very uncomforable in the concert itself, it was like 50 degrees in there and everyone around us was complaining how cold it was.

Chesnutt is a true, modern-day country legend - last Friday night he opened up theCowboy's Dancehall in San Antonio to a frenzied crowd with his his classic chart topper "Bubba Shot the Juke Box," and didn't stop belting out hit after hit for the next 90 minutes. The honky tonk crowd went crazy over "Blame it on Texas" and "Too Cold at Home," he'd then slow it down with "Almost Goodbye" and "I'll Think of Something," only to pick it right back up with "It's a Little Too Late," "Brother Jukebox," and "Goin Through the Big D." The energy in the place was electric and fans both young and old enjoyed Mark's incredible vocal ability, as well as the band's perfect rythm to the hits that have made him a country classic. The show is a must see for true country and western fans!

Craig Campbell and crew put on a show deserving of a sell out crowd. This small town venue was not well advertised and numerous events around the area pulled from the target market. Campbell is a first-rate entertainer and his band pumped up the small audience. Mark Chestnutt and band performed their catalog of hits. Chestnutt performed like it was the 1990's and the older audience moved as well. A great time!

Mark Chestnutt put on an outstanding performance & sounded great. He wanted to play long than his 90 minutes that Delta Down alotted, but they would not let him - - they wanted people to go back to gambling. I think if an entertainer wants to perform a few minutes longer - let them.... it will be good publicity and people will pack the house.

Really liked the format of all 3 on stage at once, loved the all acoustic no blasting background. Not just for old farts either, heard some very young people comment on how much they enjoyed being able to see and hear everything instead of having to fight for a look. All around great concert - could have been longer but that's what we all say!

We knew this would be a great event, since individual performances by Mark & Joe have always been very entertaining for us, going back about 20 years. Terri s performance was equally enjoyable. This format was different though, as each was accompanied by only a guitar. The absence of a band does change the delivery, but we won t complain at all. It was fun to hear the artists discussing the past & telling stories about their lives & music. There were roughly 18 songs total, with each artist delivering about six. We love music & attend a lot of concerts, so there is a value in experiencing different kinds of performances of different configurations. Concerning the Deadwood Mountain Grand, it is nice to have a concert hall that books so many performances. There is ALWAYS something fun to do at the DMG! We have attended a number of concerts there, & feel the only constructive criticism might be to add a better sound system.

We love these three artists, but the show lasted a measly 1.5 hours, most the time was spent talking, tickets cost $50+, and the show was not advertised as an acoustic set. I've seen better shows at a free county fair. Terri wasted two songs singing like a man.

Interesting show and the place was packed-- perhaps, just over 2,000 people. However, it'd been better if it had not been so noisy-- lots of folks all around carryimg on and singing along. Perhaps, the noisiest concert crowd, outside of a club, that i've attended in ages. This was a basic stripped-down story-telling type of concert. Terri, Joe and Mark sat in the center with three other guitarist on their left and right. Each performer told a few anecdotes about their songs and careers mixing it up with a back-and-forth of performing their own hits-- as well as a medley of songs by Willie Nelson, John Anderson, John Conlee and Waylon Jennings (this was sort of a tribute to those who influenced their careers). The sound was fine, but I didn't catch some of the banter since the performers sometimes weren't speaking directly into their mics, and as I said, it was a bit noisy in my middle of the venue.

The event itself was amazing, Terri Clark, Mark Chesnutt, & Joe Diffie were great they sound exactly the same as 10 years ago!! I absolutely loved the fact that it was an acoustic show instead of a full band performance, my only complaint is the setup of the seating/stage. Either the stage needs to be higher or some kind of inclined seating, it was difficult to see over people, even when we were sitting. But other than that it was a spectacular event!!

All three of the artists sounded great but the show was incredibly short. Maybe 4 songs each. Everyone in the venue complained about how the show was not worth the money since it was so short. I ve seen many performers and could not believe how pricey these tickets were for such a short show. It is definitely not worth what I paid for the tickets. This was pretty entertaining. The crowd was really into it. Joe Diffie and David Lee Murphy interacted well with the crowd. Unfortunately Mark Chesnutt was sick and struggled to get through the show. He should be commended for sticking it out because he obviously felt horrible. The only real complaint we had was the length of the show. It lasted about an hour and 15 minutes. I know some of the band members personally from the years that my brother was the bass and accordion player for Mark years ago. Delaney, Slim and Cary still sound PHENOMENAL! So good to see them enjoying the sound that they make for us fans. Mark still sounds just as good as when he was kid. Seriously. His voice still resounds a perfect pitch. The fiddle player, well he is SOMETHING! His talent is a gift. The new bass player and drummer really ROCK their poetic rhythm together. So good to be together with this band and Mark for one more night. Thank you Chesnutt for a memorable evening. ~Christine Broussard (Tim's oldest sister)

The concert featured top notch musicians and the were amazing. Unfortunately they are controlled by a sound man in the back and he ruined their performance. Mark Chesnutt put on a very good concert. He has a great band. He does not fool around talking and trying to make bad jokes like some do, he just gets with it and sings one song after the other, which is the way i like it. My only complaint or draw back is that he only played one hour. This is kind of short when you drive 2 1/2 hours one way in the rain and stay in a hotel. Very good, but short.
