Calle 13

One of the best shows I have ever attended, it's just amazing to see how has this group has evolved over the last few years. It's one of the few bands, whose songs have a strong meaning. Listening to their newest song "Latinoamerica" just gave me the chills. We all sang as one. Beautiful!

I love this band. Very entertaining and would you believe I got on stage and danced with Rene. DREAM COME TRUE

The concert was just AMAZING! Rene has an incredible energy! No tiene pelos en la lengua y habla con mucho conocimiento... Hearing PG-13 live was incredible, she has an amazing voice... Great music, great performance, smart lyrics, and powerful words!

I can't even properly express how I felt at the concert. It was truly revolutionary. The energy of the place, the people, the performance..everything was beyond amazing. Me encanto todo. Nunca voy a olvidar esta experiencia.

Calle 13 was amazing! The band playing live (as always), Rene and Ileana with this great chemistry in the stage... Eduardo killing it with the music. The production wanted to cut the audio and it didn't bring all their equipment like screens and lights... but the show was great, the band is amazing and I would see them again and again.

Non stop jumping and signing. Amazing interaction w the crowd and PG-13's voice is infectious. Highly recommend it.

The band did not desapoint! awesome energy level. Weather wasn't great, but allowed for the event to take place. They started a little late... anything over an hour is not good, but have to give it to the DJ that was playing while the crowd waited! great music.

In one word: WOW! Calle 13 was incredible, I saw them over the summer at Irving Plaza in NYC which is a relatively small venue. Their sound live is incredible, the energy is crazy intense. Rene (singer) really gets into every song and just bounces all over the stage... so was everyone else on the floor! If you can go see them live I COMPLETELY recommend them. Hands down, best live show I've been to.

I LOVED CALLE 13 performance! They are amazing, Residente, Visitante, PG 13 and their band! I love the flow of their music with a lil bit of Rock, Reggae, Cumbia, Rap and ofcourse their vocals. The Rhyming and Rapping is insanely hot! They went above my expectations. I loved the show and I can't wait for another chance to go see them live. GRACIAS CALLE 13 FOR REPRESENTING LATINOS! You guys make me proud to be LATINA con su music cachonda!

Second time I see Calle 13 at club Nokia and, as expected, they put on an amazing performance. They are one of the most talented, outspoken, well organized bands I have ever seen! Rene always knows how to break down the truth about politics, education, economics...he's breath taking. The entire band is awesome! With regards to the venue, I have my pros and cons. Yes, it is a small venue providing you with an even more intense experience as you watch performances....but if it's packed (which it was for Calle 13) then it can be a little difficult to see the performance (especially if you're standing behind a giant or weren't blessed with above average height). Like many other small venues in LA, it beats the Staples Center any day.

They're all just great performers! & Rene is so amazing!! There were about two songs I didn't know. AND even when they played them I still just sang along and danced! Can't wait until I can see them again!

I've loved them since 2006 & had never seen them. I loved the whole concert!!! Calle 13 knows how to give you the money worth. It was worth every penny. I would never complain about them because they know how to put on a show. I cant wait to be able to go and see them again. Hopefully this time I can be in the PIT and have the ability to go on stage and dance with Residente.

Nothing else needs to be said. As a HUGE Calle 13 fan....I was concerned that their live show would fall flat and I would leave a bit disappointed. However..............not the case! This is one of the few groups whose live show is actually markedly better than their recorded music (and given how great their recorded music is....I'm not sure how this is even possible). Paid 50 bucks for general admission pit seats and was about 4 feet from the stage. Given the quality of the show and the location of the seats, I would have paid 4 times as much and felt I had gotten a good value.

Calle 13 live was amazing! They needs to come to LA more often.

A night full of dancing, what more can you ask for? Calle 13 is amazing! They make sure that the audience is having a great time. It is very obvious that they love what they do and they want to share their joy with their fans. Can't wait for the next time they are in town.

All I have to say is that calle was great. They performed with plenty of energy and had everybody off their seats.

From the start I was dancing non stop! This was my first time seeing the live and I can't wait for them to come back. I sat on the VIP area and I loved the seats the view was great!! I recommend everyone to go see them live you will have fun all the way till the end. I'm really happy they came back out to sing a few more songs!

Calle 13 was awesome. I loved the music going in but the live experience was even better than I expected. They're incredibly energetic, fun to watch and fun to dance to. Since it's standing only, Irving Plaza can sometimes get insane but the crowd was surprisingly tame. The only reason they didnt get 5 stars was because they didnt have an opening band and we were bored out of our minds for 2 hours. They didn't come on stage until about 9:30.

The energy from Residente and from the entire band is something you don't always see from bands in concert. You could feel the passion and love for every song they played. I was particularly amazed with the quality of the sound and how the band found ways to jam and make the songs better than the recorded versions...beyond a rap group, this was a great rock show!!!

FIRST OF ALL I HAD NEVER BOTHERED TO HEAR THIER MUSIC LET ALONE GO SEE THEM ,BUT ONE DAY I WAS GIVEN FREE TICKETS TO A CONCERT WITH OTHER VARIOUS ARTISTS AND THEY SO HAPPEN TO BE ONE OF THEM ...I WAS LIKE "GREAT GONNA HATE THIS" AND THEN HE CAME OUT WITH AN AWESOME SHOW AND THE MUSIC JUST HAD ME MOVING.I BECAME AN INSTANT FAN OF CALLE 13 !! I WANTED THEM TO PLAY ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE ENTIRE CONCERT. I HAVE BOUGHT ALL THIER CD'S AND NOW I'M EXCITED TO SEE THEM LIVE ALL ON THIER OWN AT CLUB NOKIA !!

It was fantabulous! Loved it! Had a great time. Calls 13 really gets the crowd pumped. Everyone was on thier feet and dancing.

The standing pit section was worth the money. Though the sound quality is not that great, and you can barely understand what the artist is saying, if you're a great fan, it's the place to be.

Can't wait to see them again! They are the best!!!

Calle 13 put on a great show! Seeing them perform in a smaller venue is a true luxury, whenever this guys play in Latin America is to sold out stadiums. I definitively recommend to go see them if you have a chance.

Great place drinks are hella expensive though. I will def go back and see him again. Can't wait to see him again

I NEVER GET TIRED OF SEEING CALLE 13! THEY ALWAYS GIVE A GREAT PERFORMANCE! HIGH ENERGY! WONDERFUL SOCIAL MESSAGES! AMAZING TALENT!!!

Absolutely amazing! The overall atmosphere was great and unforgetable!

We got to the venue early because we were missing a ticket. The show said it would start at 8pm so we were there around 7pm. We waited in line until 9pm then another hour for the opening band and finally Calle13 showed at 11pm played for a little over an hour and were gone! The band is good and it was great to see them but the wait was really not worth it!

Glad I was able to attend this concert. This was my 1st and definitely not my last C13 concert I will be attending. The live music was awesome and they've put on a great show: Residente, PG13, Visitante, and all the musicians in the band. Rene and Ileana have a great chemistry on stage and they sang for about 2 hours.

The only downside was waiting two hours for the event to begin but besides that it was excellent!

i was waiting for two hours before the show start and nobody said enything they didn't give us time for the show. and after that it only last 1;30 hour not a enough time.

This was one of the best shows that I have ever seen.

I am a huge Calle 13 fan and was incredibly excited to see them in concert. While I think the show was great, I was incredibly disappointed that the show started two hours late. I understand that concerts never start on time, but after paying $50 for general admission, I think it's incredibly disrespectful to show up 2 hours late. There was no opening band and no one came out to announce how much longer we would have to wait. After about an hour, the crowd was incredibly restless and upset. When Calle 13 finally came on stage, they did put on a great show - and at least they played for 2 hours. Regardless, I think it's incredibly rude and would definitely not waste $50 to see them in concert again.

It started at 10:30 when the doors open at 8, the venue was soooo hot inside that it was hard to breathe and he played for under 2 hours shorter time than we stood there waiting for him to come out.

Ok concert was good! But then they don't sing "Muerte en Hawaii" which is the song everyone wanted to hear and expecting!! No wonder everybody booed them after they said goodbye... I think it's the least they should of done after begin late 2:30hrs... Next time I'll just wiki the set list to know and not buy!!!

I recommend this show to anyone who is interested or has the slighest idea of what real music is!! don't go see them if what you expect is reggaeton! ... This guys know the deal with the use of real sounds and real lyrics that mean something I recommend it. The energy given by Rene, his sister and visitante was amazing. Not only that but the musicians on stage are surreal. Excellent show

Calle 13 has always been a favorite of mine. The music is great, the lyrics are great, there vibe is great. What I do have a problem with is that the last 3 concerts of theirs that I have attended are full of people who I don't think understand why they sing the things that they do. REMEMBER PEOPLE, HE IS PUERTO RICAN. Yeah ok there are similarities with issues in other countries and that is why people can relate, but how about understanding what is going on in his. AND WHY IS EVERYONE SO RUDE. I thought Calle 13 Concerts, especially this one, are for Latinos to come together...ARE YOU PEOPLE NOT LISTENING TO WHAT HE SAYS. CALLE 13, you inspire me and many like me. WE UNDERSTAND!!!!! PA' LANTE LA RAZA LATINA!!!!!!

Great presentation and performance from Calle 13 and very comfortable place for the show.

It was fantastic! I have been to other Calle 13 concerts, and the energy in this one was just as good, or even better. Bring Calle 13 to Providence, Rhode Island or Boston!

Everything was excellent. This is my first paid concert in NYC, and it was excellent.

the band itself was great, as usual, but there were some rowdy people pushing and shoving, the bartender scoffed at me for asking for non-bottled water, and the sound was, at times, unclear. but I still had an amazing time.

René steals the show, he is truly an artist. His political commentary is so on point. PG-13 is also super cool. Visitante was kind of not really involved. René is so damn hot!!

The concert had an excellent sound and the theater was pretty good.. I really had a good time I will recommend it to anyone.

First row - standing concert - the way it should always be. I will drive around all USm top see this band, well actually i have been doing so :-) The music, the lyrics, everything is amazing, is a great combination. Cant wait for the next concert. Residente y Visitante you have been blessed with a gift. I am glad you use it to proivde us with great music,. lyrics, and messages that will help shape the present and newer generations of Latinos around the World. !!

THE CONCERT WAS REALLY NICE ONCE IT STARTED ALTHOUGHT IT SAID IT BEAGAN AT 8PM N DID UNTILL 9 PM WE WERE THERE WAITING (STANDING FOR MORE THAN 1HR WHICH WAS NOT COOL THE BAR WAS TOO FAR SO U HAD TO DECIDE TO EITHER GET A DRINK OR STAND N WAIT FOR THEM SO U WOULDNT LOOSE UR GOOD SPOT OVER ALL IT WAS NICE. CALLE 13 CONCERT WAS GREAT!

Amazing concernt... I'm just a bit hurt at the fact that they didnt sing the "La Vuelta al Mundo" song... besides that, the concert was worth every penny.

Never been to a hip-hop concert before, but I was thoroughly impressed at the show Calle 13 put on. In spite of a few drawbacks, it turned out to be one of the most fun and energetic shows I've been to. Doors opened at 7:30. I was kind of disappointed by the lack of merchandise for sale, but in lieu of that, they had a photo booth set up. Take a photo there, and then also get a free t-shirt or hat. The band didn't actually come out on stage until about 9:30 (but the venue also didn't really fill up until at least 9). I think it's a combination of the group wanting to wait for as many fans as possible, and fans reading these reviews and deciding they can show up late because the band has a reputation for starting late. At any rate, it was well worth the wait. They had a great sound set-up. As I said, never been to a hip-hop concert before, but they had a full ensemble on stage (horns, guitars/bass, drums, bongos, etc.). It was pretty friggin' awesome and a lot more than I expected. Besides the wait time, I'd have to say that I expected a slightly different setlist; I feel like they were settling more on their singles. Would have been nice to hear something like "Todo se mueve" live!

Calle 13 is an amazing and controversial artist that brings a professional and vibrant show. Too bad that Echostage's accoustics are not suited for concerts. The audio was mediocre at best. Most of the poetry of calle 13's words was lost because of poor sound. Unless you knew his music, you would not understand what he is singing about. Still, his concert was worth the annoyance.

If you did not know the lyrics to the songs by heart you could not tell what language the artist was singing in. Horrible voice definition of the sound system.

This was one of the best concert Id ever been their music is pure Art.

Calle 13 was amazing. Not only did they perform their most famous songs but they also played fan favorites. They also came out to play 4 more songs in an encore.

Calle 13 was incredible!! They were very powerful and extremely talented. I really appreciated his social messages and the welcoming environment they created.

CALLE 13 amazing as always. The venue location was a bit sketchy, but this did not affect the fantastic performance of the band.

Bad. I was expecting to see Manuel Garcia ... As the ticket shows both artists and the only time in the tickets was 8pm, so why in the world.... Manuel Garcia starts before 7:30!!!!! Next time just don't even announce him. Calle 13 was good, but I went to see Manuel Garcia. He finished way before the show was announced. Just not right.... All my family was so desappointed. My wallet too. What to do to get something back?

I have no complaints regarding the actual show, once the performers came on stage, however I found it very insulting that they made us wait .45mins + before coming on stage. The show was scheduled for 8:00 and I've been to numerous concerts to understand that "being late" it's part of the concert "culture" but making one wait that long it's not cool and after paying what we paid for tickets and standing up sooo long, I and my 2 daughters that accompanied me found it insulting and less entertaining!!!.

Calle 13 gave their all even though our crowd has been their smallest show on the tour so far (c'mon Bay Area you should have been representing!) Residente killed it live! Peje 13 was so amazing and Visitante was right in front of me jamming the whole concert. Sometimes it was hard for me to understand what Residente was saying/singing but I don't know if that's expected when you stand front row... This concert, being my first, was one of the best experiences of my life so far! Hearing the songs I love so much live has given them deeper meaning and I just want to go to another one of their concerts already! The set list had a good mix of all their stuff but their newer stuff were the highlights of the show next to playing "Atrevete" and 'Beso de desayuno".

Amazing show by Calle 13, as they always put on. Great venue, all took place in orderly fashion, awesome energy. My only complaint is regarding the time announcing the show. It stated that the show would start at 8:00. I assumed this would include Manuel García, listed as "special guest" - he is an incredible musician, very well known in Chile and parts of South America. What was not announced or clear is that he would start before 8 pm. We arrived at 7.50 and caught the last 2 songs of his. Had I known he would start before, I would have arrived earlier. Other than that, everything was great.

Performance by Calle 13 was fantastic. The opening band left much to be desired though - hard to understand. For Calle 13 fans the concert could have lasted a bit longer and contained a few of the songs from the first album, but over all it was a great performance.

The performers arrived probably 90 minutes late. Frustrating but they put on an incredible show.

I had been listening nonstop to Calle 13's last album 'Entren los que quieran' and nearly had a heart attack when I saw they were going to be playing at the Nokia. It was soooo good! Every song they played was fantastic. Their musical arrangement was fantastic. They were overall perfect! They played a bunch of songs, but my selfish self wanted more! I sat in row G and it was great! They played a bunch of old stuff too which I didn't expect but enjoyed very much. Highly recommended venue/artist.

The act before Cale 13, Illya Kuryaki, were great! They had energy, great latin funk modern music. They made the crowd get up & enjoy good music. I did not know much about them before the concert, but I am GLAD they were the act before. They did an amazing job of preparing us for Calle 13. Calle 13 came out & played w/ ENORMOUS energy. I will be attending ALL of their concerts near the LA area. The instruments, the lyrics, the artists = amazing. The price for the tickets were cheap for a wonderful performance, the seats were close.... Although, they are no longer broadcasted on the radio here, they are the BEST group around.

Calle 13 was awesome!! I was front row and it was amaziiiing! Great venue for them! Opening band Bang Data were also GREAT!! i recommend to catch both bands any time they are in town!! Bang Data is a local Bay band, look them up!

This wasn't my 1st time seeing them perform, nor will it be my last. This group falls nothing short of amazing. What made it even MORE amazing was that not only was it Mother's Day, it was also my 36th birthday! They don't sugar coat. There's no fluff. Very raw and real. They are not afraid to be very bold and blunt but still Prideful of their native Puerto Rico. My only "issue" was the fact that the show didn't actually start until almost an hour when it was supposed to. But being used to latin concerts, IT HAPPENS! Just all the more reason to visit the bar one more time. Bottom line, this special day ended with one of my favorite groups.

Calle 13 strikes me like a combination of 2pac and Eminen... Of course representing Latin America. He was a pleasure to see. The energy that he has and the great sound his band plays is very very cool.

Best rapper alive nobody even comes close. Make all rappers sound like amature hour. Too bad english speaking only people dont have the pleasure to hear calle 13. Sucks for them. They are forced to listen to attack of the clones like all the rappers that their name ends with izzy or diddy or jay z ;(

Epic show. The music was wonderful, hip hop salsa sound, very progressive had you dancing the entire show. Fox Theater amazing location and beautiful people in crowd. I'm disabled and the staff was wonderful
