The disparaging comments that Scofield made about the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel HIll area were in poor taste. If North Carolina is as backward and deprived of culture as he indicated during his concert, perhaps he should play elsewhere. Someone should communicate to him the fact that the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel HIll area has been ranked as one of the top places to live in the US for over thirty years by numerous publications.
