We love David Bowie music and the live show is amazing. The costume changes and the music from the various decades is truly something to experience if you have not had the opportunity to see David Bright.....The Worlds Greatest Tribute Band to David Bowie. He not only sounds like David Bowie but has the looks as well. Highly recommended was only give because the ushers did not allow us to get up and dance at this particular venue. David Brighton encourages his fans to get up and dance and sing along to the David Bowie songs.

Loved this venue for David Brighton's Bowie show! Great seating, plus a standing room only section that doesn't block the view of those sitting. Stage is high enough so everyone can see! The show itself -- PHENOMENAL! I've seen this Bowie show many times -- David and his band NEVER EVER disappoint! It is a must see show! Song list is all Bowie's hits! Great costumes just like Bowie wore!

First time seeing a "tribute" band, so we didn't know exactly what to expect. Completely blown away! Great set; fantastic sounding band. Lots of fun. We'll see David B. the next time Space Oddity is in town.

The David Bowie tribute singer and band were 1st rate; the show was spectacular. My husband and I bought tickets to the show, because our 7-yr old son is such a big Bowie fan. We enjoyed the singing, music, and all the costume changes. Our son really rocked out to Rebel, Rebel; Panic in Detroit; Jean Genie; and Suffragette City. We are truly impressed that a show of this high caliber was at the Orange County Fair. We go to the Orange County Fair every year, usually twice during their season.

When this band plays the OC Fair, they target the hearts of all rock fans, not just hard core Bowie fans. They play many of David Bowie's most popular music. This show was the celebration of the 40 year anniversary of Alladin Sane. The band played the entire album, which was phenomenal.

They did all of Alladin Sane the night we saw them, and some lyrics got missed, but I don't think they were songs from the normal setlist. The guitar solos and background vocals were outstanding. The Mike Garson keyboard spots were nailed (wow!). And the final encore was a great rendition of the Time Warp (Rocky Horror). They also played Bang A Gong by T. Rex, would rather have heard one more Bowie song (1984, Queen Bitch, Life On Mars, Hang On To Yourself, Man Who Sold The World, or even Changes).

I saw David Brighton a few years ago and went back because he is AMAZING!! He has the posture, mannerisms, voice, facial expressions down pat. Closest possible thing to seeing Bowie himself! Also, the musicians in the band were spectacular - great guitar playing! Highly recommend this show for all DB fans and music-lovers in general!

I, as a huge Bowie fan, well understand Bowiests tend to think that Bowie is not for a tribute band - he is a unique and only one charisma whom nobody can impersonate - frankly, I had thought the same until I saw them. David Brighton is of course not David Bowie, however it would be really difficult to find any better impersonator even if you try to look for around the world. He is also a man of ideas - kick off the stage with "Station To Station" in 1976 tour costume, then he transforms himself to Ziggy - then he ends the show as a pop star Bowie in 1983 "Serious Moonlight Tour". If you try to reproduce these reincarnations of Bowie history during the single show, it requires a band with the ability to play from Hard Rock, Glam Rock to Philly Soul and New Wave Pop. He fortunately established a mean machine band which easily covers such broad range of music. Most importantly, we can see their respect for Bowie always - at the OC Fair show, they played Aladdin Sane full album avant-garde piano improvisation by Mike Garson on title truck was almost perfectly reproduced on the stage. They always try to offer some additional value as a tribute band the other day, they delivered an acoustic show and played some supreme cuts from Hunky Dory album, such as Quick Sand . Now the 70 s, golden age of Rock is long ago lots of great artists passed away or are half retired. So I believe this kind of respectful but challenging tribute band, NOT just another cover band which just plays hit songs for drunken audience, will be more appreciated.

Space Oddity is more than a tribute band it is a surreal experience as if you ever saw Bowie this like reliving it all over again. They go through all the phases from Ziggy, the Thin White Duke to the hip and cool Serious Moonlight Bowie. Do not miss them next time.

I really wanted to like the tribute to David Bowie since I am a huge fan, but what I came away with was more questions about the band, it's legitamacy and the sanity of the seemingly insecure Bowie impersonator who led it. First, there was the tracks that obviously sported more "horns" and background vocals than were represented on stage, which made me doubt both the keyboard player (was she really playing?) and the singers - how many were live, how many were Memorex? When "Bowie" appeared with much drama and fanfare, the eras of music he did were mixed up and not well introduced. At one time, the film behind the band spoke of Ziggy and the costume was Ziggy, but instead of a song from Ziggy Stardust, Rebel Rebel from Diamond Dogs was played. His voice was a lighter, weaker version of Bowie's and his rythm whilst clapping was way off and kind of sad. He looked like he had a lot of facial surgery to try to look more like Bowie, thereby making him seem just that much more desparate to get the audience to believe he was Bowie. The bottom line is that his voice was thin and his performance was weak. The whole performance kind of rests on the voice of the iconic person you're imitating, and this guy was not the belter Bowies was/is. I do have to say the costumes and wigs were good - but a bit too many changes going on to really appreciate them all. As for the rest of the band, very good players and if the keyboard was actually playing and not using tracks, she was amazing. The problem is, I left with a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. A tribute act should be talented enough on it's own without having to make the show into an "illusion" of the real deal.

David Brighton has the look and voice and his incredible band certainly has the sound and vibe! This band is spot on perfect! I did not know the performance was to include the complete Aladdin Sane album which was a huge surprise and treat for this Bowie fan! They played the album note for note and the even the back ground harmonies were chillingly perfect! I'd love to see them do this performance over and over again! See this show! You wont regret it!

He did a great David Bowie......However he should have played the songs that the crowd was looking for. The few songs that were recognized by the crowd had everyone on their feet and singing along. Give the people what they want. I know it was the 40th anniversary Blah, Blah, Blah

First time seeing this tribute and having never seen the real deal myself, thoroughly enjoyed this fine group of musicians. Mr. Brighton does an excellent and very thoughtful job presenting decades of David Bowie music along with videos and costumes. The whole band (2 electric guitars, bass, drums and keyboards) was great! The female keyboard player had some killer skill and sound. You could tell there were fans that follow this band in the crowd. I would definitely see them again and recommend catching them if you have the opportunity.

If I didn't know better I would have thought that David Bowie himself was onstage in The Hanger @ The OC Fair on Saturday night. David Brighton had the mannerism's, stage presence, outfits & the sound of Bowie down pat. He sang all of my favorite songs going all of the way back to Man who Sold the World. His keyboard player was not only beautiful but an extremely talented player with a fabulous voice singing background & on her duets with David. He even intoduced his 2 guitar players as "Earl Slick" & "Mick Ronson". I would recommend that anyone who is a fan of David Bowie should go see Space Oddity by David Brighton.

David Brighton does a great job to replicate Mr. Jones in appearance and vocals. Song selection reflects some of Bowie's best and most popular - with a few other great 70's tunes thrown in. The band is amazing. While the Beatles' tribute band, Fab Four, was playing at the Pacific Amphitheatre, Space Oddity was paying homage to one of greatest artists of rock 'n roll. The show demonstrated multiple snapshots of periods in the 70's and 80's that changed the music world. I'll say it again, if you're a fan of David Bowie, you will love this band.

GREAT performance. The lead guitarist as well as the big man himself were amazing. My only disappointment was the fact that the group did a few covers. I think David Bowie's library is sooo extensive that there shouldn't have been any covers at all. But i'd still go see them perform again. Was definitely a great time.

As David Brighton took the stage and began his tribute performance I was immediately taken back to the 70's. His appearance, voice and mannerism were so like David Bowie that it brought me back to the days when I stood beside my fellow Bowie worshipers, dancing and rocking the night away. At first his face was not quite Bowie's but, as the night progressed, the differences faded until he completely morphed into David Bowie and I almost forgot that I wasn't seeing the actual man on stage. My only regret was that it was over too quickly as I could have spent hours more listening and being mesmerized by this awesome performer. The band and female vocalist were equally as impressive and I will definitely be attending any and all future performances in my area.

Great show, however, there were several non-Bowie songs in the set list. In fact, the closing song was Time Warp from the Rocky Horror Picture Show ?!?!?! With the huge body of work Bowie has produced over the decades, it was very disappointing to hear these non-Bowie songs instead of more great Bowie tunes. Judging by the reaction of the crowd and the rest of the gang I went with, I'm sure most agree with my sentiments.

If you are a fan of David Bowie, you will be thrilled by this show! David Brighton's stellar performance will make you believe that you are seeing and hearing the man himself as Brighton recreates the different personas of David Bowie. It is a magical journey back to the time of the glam rock era and Brighton's performance is electrifying. During this particular show, Bowie's album 'Aladdin Sane' was performed in it's entirety in celebration of it's 40th anniversary. It is by far, one of his best work and it was a rare treat experiencing it performed live on stage once again. This along with other classic Bowie hits made for a truly memorable evening!

I'm not a huge Bowie fan but do acknowledge the talent of the man. That being said, everyone should go see this show at least once. The attention to detail, costume changes to correspond with the various stages of the career, and song selection made it a don't miss show. The band was fabulous, did not miss a beat the entire evening and David, while not a perfect Bowie was exceptional. Five costume changes, including wigs. I will go see them again!

David Brighton's show was the closest thing that there is. The band was tight, the setlist was fun, they had people dancing in the aisles. David had costumes to represent the different era's of Bowie's career that he was touching on. I look forward to seeing him again! I have already recommended his show to other music fan's.

David Brighton's tribute to Bowie was amazing. His impersonation was spot-on, down to the voice and all the little Bowie mannerisms. But, most importantly, it was the band's flawless performance, particularly from the lead guitarist, that made the evening memorable. If you never heard all the Bowie hits live, this is your chance. It was almost enough to make us forget how crappy the venue was (Venue at Horseshoe Casino). Highly recommended.

David Brighton presents a great tribute to David Bowie. He looks like David, sounds like him, and moves like him. Brighton invited the audience to come up to the front of the stage and dance. We took him up on his offer and had a great time. He seemed to be having fun himself, which made it more fun for us. Great performer. Bowie's songs are classic and everyone sang along. Highly recommended it. The other musicians were great, too. they did a fabulous job with "Pressure." Guitarist did a great job on Freddie Mercury's part.

The Pasadena Outdoor Concert Series is great, and we loved seeing this band there. The singer has many of Bowie's quirks down and does a great job with his songs. They played most of the big hits and threw in a few non-Bowie songs to mix things up. I would definitely see this band again, and Space Oddity is a must see for any Bowie fan.
