Phenomenal show if you're a Little Feat fan, or New Orleans Jazz/Rock for that matter. The Variety Playhouse folks were warm and unobtrusive. These veteran New Orleans sidemen, along with Paul and Fred brought their A game. Not a packed house but they played like it was. Tippitina encore was icing on the cake. Great venue.

This show was fantastic. Mr.Barrere and Mr. Tackett opened with an hour of songs played on electric guitars with some mandolin thrown in for good measure. Next, New Orlean's Suspects played a one hour set of original and cover tunes. Right from the start they had a very Little Feat vibe to them so you knew what was coming next. That's right. Paul and Fred joined New Orlean's Suspects for an hour and a half of pure musical nirvana. Their closing rendition of "Fat Man in the Bathtub brought down the house. I've seen Little Feat several time since the late 80's and believe me you couldn't get much closer than this to the real thing. Thanks guys. It was great.

Loved it. and ..... even though they played to a small crowd. They, along with their accompanying act, played for 3 hours !!! Never once were they phoning it in. I would definitely see them again.
