Badfish - A Tribute To Sublime

Badfish rocked out and put on an amazing show at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom!

Badfish has always given me the next best thing to Sublime. Anyone I have ever brought has been blown away. I will always see them when they are in Detroit.

Great show, they sounded great, the only thing is ppl will start to Mosh pit and I'm a little lady lol but not the bands fault. Just don't stand near the front, great venue over all would see them and go to this venue again, crazy hot in the place too no ac, no fans.

great show had a good time and i would go to a badfish show anytime they were close by and ballyho played ahell of a set they all jamed out played so many sublime songs i lost my voice for two days

These guys put on a great show! Badfish/ Scotty Don't and Ballyhoo! put on one of the best concerts i have been too, they are great live and did a great job!! Badfish does a great job covering Sublime, i went to see Ballyhoo! and don't really listen to Badfish/ Scotty Don't too much, but i was very impressed on how well of a job they did covering Sublime!! Cant wait for the Oct 30th Holloween show!!!!!

This was a great concert. The Band sounded great the energy was great and the over all experience was great. I would go agian and agian. I love sublime and thought this band did them proud.

These guys sound great! It was so much fun to dance to the melodic sounds of Long Beach. The opener was okay but I was pretty anxious to hear the Long Beach All Stars (Badfish). All in all, it was an awesome show and I would buy tickets to see them again in a heart beat!

I've seen these guys about ten + times and they only get better. I still can't believe for 20 bucks i get to see these guy's pay tribute to one of the radest bands ever...... This is a band you MUST C before you die!

Jannus Landing Courtyard was a great place to see a show...Outdoor, open air, surrounded by buildings on all sides in a "back alley" type setting. Very cool spot. And Badfish is a legit "Tribute" band...They are obviously huge Sublime fans, and they certainly rock out while keeping true to the memory of the original tunes. Excellent show for $20!!

This concert was absolutely incredible. Of the three times I've seen Scotty Don't and Badfish this was definitely my favorite. And the opening act, Ballyhoo!, I had never heard before this concert and let's just say I'm a new fan. They were awesome as well. Despite the stupid drunk girls spilling their beers all over me, it was still a concert I'd recommend to anyone who enjoys good music.

The concert started out good with a great performance by Ballyhoo, then Scotty Don't came on and played some of their songs. The thing that frustrated me was that they said Badfish was going to come on at 11pm, but Scotty Don't kept playing the whole night without an announcement to why Badfish wasn't going to perform! Scotty Don't did play all of Sublimes best, but I just thought we were coming to House of Blues to see the main act, which was Badfish. The setting was good and the music was great so I can't complain about that, it just ticked me off that there was no explanation!

Badfish is one of the very few tribute bands that I have truly liked. Their music really does live up to Sublimes music. The music is crisp clean and accurate to what a tribute band should be. I will defiantly go again next year.

with a library of over 20 songs i thought i was pretty versed in most Sublime... but for me and a few others i was with... Badfish played quite a few of Sublimes more unpopular songs... and in many others they would extend out the instrumentals in them...essentially wasting time. i'd think when being a cover band you'd want to play many of their top songs...especially at 30 bones a ticket!?! they rocked at the Wildflower festival, probably because they played the most known songs. not to say playing other randoms is bad...but seriously you're a cover band...play the ish people want to hear.

I've seen Badfish a few times in concert and they always play with so much passion for the music of Sublime. I never saw Sublime in concert, so this is the next best thing. They keep the music of Sublime alive!!

badfish is the ultimate sublime tribute band. the guys were interactive with the crowd, obviously big sublime fans, but also threw originality and spontaneity into the act. there were the originals and the slight alterations that made this concert amazing. i WILL definitely see Badfish. Not just because they are so great, but because the atmosphere of their show was simply unforgettable. THANK YOU.

This band is a must see if you were and are a Sublime fan. They were point on. They were very entertaining and enjoyable. They went on an hour late due to the rain but totally made up for it.

After a long work week and a slightly fowl mood, the last thing I wanted to see was a half assed cover band slaughtering one of my favorite artists songs. Thankfully, Badfish showed us their own love for Sublime by playing an awesome show! They didn t miss a beat, covering almost every song I love. They played with a passion and energy that instantly changed my mood and won me over as a fan. Playing a rockin guitar while covering the unique vocals of Sublime s lead singer Bradley is no easy task but Badfishes lead singer made it look easy and showed us he has the range, energy and strong vocals to handle every song. I feel that their band, Scotty Don t, has enormous potential. I also feel like they are a little afraid of sounding too much like Sublime which causes their songs to be a little dulled down. With the lead singer s strong voice and obvious passion for the music the sky is the limit for this band. There is so much you can do with the reggae / rock genre, as Sublime has showed us with their remarkable albums. I am definitely rooting for Scotty Don t and you guys have won me over as a big fan!

The band was great. the show was amazing. the only thing i would change is the barrier between underage and 21+. i went a year ago and the underage area seemed bigger and a little closer to the bar. which was nice because there is a step up there. Besides that I love the Croc Rock its a great venue. Awesome night!!!!

Everything was great. The warm-up bands were fun, the CD's were great and cheap, and most importantly, Badfish really represented for Sublime. It was like hearing a live Sublime jam session or something. Really great. Can't wait til they come back!

Guess I bought the tickets high, cause this was supposed to be sublime music when I showed up. Turned out to be 2 sublime songs and Scotty Donts crap. It should have been titled Scotty Don't but I guess even they know no one wants to see that.

I've seen Badfish more than 6 times and I still love them so much. The show is always fantastic, they're so talented and it's as close to Sublime as you could get for a show ! They're so good !

Simply one of the best concerts I have seen this year. I have seen Badfish twice this year, and many, many times, before this, and they ALWAYS give a great performance. I love the NORVA because it is a small intimate venue, you can literally walk up to front row. GO SEE THEM, if you haven;t already

WOW, these guys were amazing and have great chemistry together as a group. They were fun to watch, great to listen to, their interaction with the crowd was awesome, the venue was even cool with two levels. I think my husband & I will become groupies whenever they are in the New England area not to mention bringing all of our friends and family along who have loved Sublime music! A must see group; especially one to add to your Ticketmaster favorites list!!

Fifth year in a row going to this show at HOB! They are AMAZING and I would recommend everyone who loves Sublime check out them out. House of Blues is always a great venue!!!

I had a blast seeing badfish. The first two opening bands were ok then the third band played and were great got everyone in the mood for badfish. Once badfish came on they killed it!! Didn't have a set playlist which was great because they were taking requests from the audience I got to go up onstage and dance and meet the guys! I can cross this off my bucket list for sure! Best concert I've been to in a Long time! You could tell the guys had a great time and that makes the show just that much better!

The Joint Chiefs - the bad that went on before Badfish were incredible. They really got the house going, and then Badfish wasn't bad. The venue was great as well, great place for a rock concert.

This was a Birthday present for my husband. We had a great time. They rocked the place .Every single person was singing every song. And everyone was dancing the entire time. We will definitly see them again when they come back around. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUBBY

I'm almost through my freshman year in high school and this was my first concert.. I am so stoked to say that each performance I saw determined that 3/9/13 was the best night of my life. The overall experience was out of this world and I wish it didn't have to end. The energy in the atmosphere as each band performed was breathtaking, I have the hardest time participating in many kinds of social events, but as soon as I walked in, I felt at ease and I (surprisingly) danced the entire time; something I've never really been able to do. The crowd was warm and kind. It was perfect. Experienced my first mosh pit, too. Was pretty freaking rad... my little sister almost got sucked into it though! Haha, had to keep her out of the vortex. I might jump in next time; but with more appropriate shoes! c: Badfish, Horizon, and The Crazy Carls put on an amazing show that as a first experience will be hard to top. Meeting some of the band members from HOR!ZON and Crazy Carls(Who, by the way were verryyy sweet) was amazing as well. :3 I didn't get to meet anybody from Badfish unfortunately, but that'll my goal for the next concert! :D PS When you look at my posted photos, let me warn you, my mom sucks at taking pictures, so no blame on me! xD I was having too much fun to take pictures myself. I definitely plan on seeing them perform again, and again!!!. (:

Went to see Badfish on 4/20 at House of Blues with a few friends. Show started at 8 with two opening acts, Badfish didn't take the stage until 11, but apparently there were sound issues that delayed them 30 mins. Regardless, they played non-stop, very little chatter from the stage and just rocked out song after song. The venue was general admission, so despite standing around on hard concrete floors for a few hours, it was worthwhile. Show wasn't sold out, so we had ample room around us and the vibe of the crowd, while young, was very chill. Loved, loved LOVED the show; will definitely come back for other good headliners. Ticket prices were a steal at $25.

Absolutely awesome! Third time I have seen them and always a great show and great time. I was disappointed that they didn t play as Scotty Don t but they did play my favorite Scotty Don t songs mixed in. It was a great addition having the sax & trombone players! All in all, it was a great show & I look forward to their return to the area. If you like Sublime s music you should see Badfish!

Stereo Garden put on a sick show this weekend! The combination of Oogee Wawa, Bumpin Uglies, and Badfish was awesome! It was all about them good vibes.

Had a great time besides the upstairs bar wait time, only had 1 bartender and she was swamped but did a good job. Trop's rendition of "Give it away" was an awesome send off. Badfish's keyboardist playing a little bit of the door's music and them doing their own version of "lean on me" was just killer. Always a great time seeing these two bands! (Sorry Sun Dried Vibes didn't make it in time to catch you guys)

Badfish was incredible as usual. If you get thr chance you must see Fayuca. They are a spanglish band with great jams. I dont speak Spanish but the sounds are great. The venue was good. The security line looked insane to get in but went by quickly. There is plenty of floor space and seats for the tired.

Too many people on stage trying to make it their own. Lose the clarinets and trumpets next time. Just play what sublime played next time!!

I've seen badfish a few times and this show was my favorite! It was a smaller inside venue that wasn't packed but the energy was off the charts! They put on a show like they were playing for a huge crowd in a major city. They jammed like it was their last chance lol. I love the passion they have for the music. You can really feel the love for sublime!

Band was great, played a ton of songs and used a midi for the sound effects that are in some of sublime's songs

Bad fish was excellent in concert highly recommend if you love sublime you will love badfish.

Been to atleast 6 or 7 Badfish shows now and they have always been outstanding. I highly recommend that any fans of Sublime check them out.

Since we can't have Sublime with Bradley this is the next best thing. They sang every Sublime song that you'd want to here. Worth every dollar and then some

Well I find myself thinking about the past and future more than I should sometimes But music always takes me to the present. It was 10 years ago I first saw badfish at this same venue when it was northern lights and the vibe blew my mind. All the time spent jamming to sublime and this might as well have been sublime it was sublime :). This year has been no different they tore down the house with a crowd felt performance at upstate as always. They next day was fantastic as well when my friend took the 4 hr cruise to Burlington to follow the vibe. I cant say enough these guys are fantastic musicians and have a heartfelt love for the music and it shows in the performance. So thank you to badfish and everyone else go check out a show. And keep sublime alive.

Awesome! They always are. Some might say it is sacreligious to say this, but I assure you and again does sublime better than sublime ever did sublime! These guys always out on an awesome show!

Badfish is by far one of the best tribute bands ever! They are so on point you think you're listening to the real thing! The energy was amazing, I was sore the next day from dancing so much! Yesai killed it, one of the opening bands. Kevin Frasier on the lead vocals is gorgeous and so talented! I don't love the venue only because I don't like being packed in like a sardine and every time you have to get out to get a drink you have to shove through 1000 people. But it's an old venue and they have great shows there so that's not going to stop me!

Concert was awesome! The second cover band was South of the Peak and were phenomenal!! Even bought their demo disc!!! Badfish played the whole Sublime album cover to cover and played it well and made our night! The only issue is standing for the entire 5 hours we were there on a concrete floor with a slant to it. But overall great night!!!!!!

Music was great once it finally started 40 minutes late. One or two bands before them couldn't understand guy introducing them. Badfish only played an hour if that before encore to bring them back, should've played longer. Should also have section setup for wheelchairs, arrived hour and a half early and could hardly find a spot. Still a great time.

Revolution Live in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale was an amazing venue to see such an awesome band. The 2 opening bands were phenomenal (I'll be looking them up to hear more music), the crowd was fantastic, and the drinks were heavy (pricey, but worth it). Did not go through any security coming in or leaving. Uber was a huge help with transportation too, a lot safer. I will definitely be going back for future shows. Oh and of course, BADFISH WAS AMAZING! I was on cloud 9 all night.

As always, Badfish and HOB put on one hell of a show! Just wait for Bohemian Rhapsody and the lights to turn down, cuz you're in for a treat! Can't wait to catch them again. These guys are really amazing.

I've seen these guys so many times I've lost count already & they NEVER disappoint! They put on such a great show. Pat Downes sounds almost identical to Bradley, it's kind of insane. It's funny because we've also gone to a few Sublime w/ Rome shows & even though Eric Wilson & Bud Gaugh still perform with Rome Ramirez, their shows just don't hold a candle to Badfish. If they're ever in Florida, we make it a point to drive to where ever and see them because we always have the best times at their show. This show in particular was in celebration of Sublime's "Doin' Time" album anniversary and it was a great show. Can't wait till the next one!

Phenomenal Sublime cover band with high energy, great sound, and an all around good time wherever they play. Have seen them at least 6 times and enjoyed every show.

My wife and I decided to take our girls to the BadFish show because they love all of their Sublime albums. BadFish was AMAZING!! These guys brought back so many memories of mine and it was great to see my kids singing along with many of the songs. Their opening acts were just as amazing. Tropidelics and Shrub definitely got the show started off right! This was a fun show and was a great first experience for my girls. The fun loving fans were very respectful of my children in the balcony. We had a blast!

Movie was good, wish they had some lift tickets and/or more swag/giveaways, but enjoyed the movie. Badfish was very good, really enjoyed their show.

My friends and I attending the Bad Fish Concert at the House of Blues in Boston on 11/14 and to our disappointment the opening act was an hour and half movie on extreme skiing. Don t get me wrong I respect the people who took part in the movie. I know I would never do that in my life time. Give me the beach and sun every time over the snow and cold. What pissed us and the people around us off was playing the whole movie, great. Oh thanks for the free stuff, which I think most of them kept. Here is an idea, how about a 20 minute preview of the movie. In the world of ADHD, how many people really paid attention after 20 minutes. At one point I started playing Sublime songs on my phone and then started watching old Family Guy episodes to pass the time. The only reason why I kind of paid attention was because I was hoping they would show someone have a yard sale all the way down the mountain. Yard Sale , the only ski term I know. After the hour and half of torcher, Bad Fish came on and kicked ass, like always. So the movie was an hour and half, Bad Fish played for an hour and 45 minutes, doesn t add up. It is a few days after the show and I am still pissed about what happened. Lesson learned, look up the opening act before going to the show and if it turns out to be a movie, show up at 10.

This was the earliest I've ever had a show end at Hampton. Badfish ran through the songs and ended very early. It took longer to drive and sit in traffic.

Opening band Tado Bien was good. Badfish did an amazing set but other people crowd surfing dampered the experience. My fiance and I were tossed bump and bruised by crowd surfers. We even left a bit early because of it.

Show was awesome! Not a bad seat in the house, although kinda annoying you're limited to drinking alcohol to a specific area (not near the stage). Overall amazing show!!!

This was our 4th year. It has become an annual event. Staff was great, beer was cold and the scene was hot......

The show was great...and the bands were awesome. The only problem I had was when the headliner came on I got thrown out for being pushed into a mosh pit... so if you go to a show don't go to jenks in point pleasant

I LOVE SUBLIME!!! Perhaps so much so, that I was borderline offended by this cover band! They really are NOT all that!!! First off, they apparently only brought one amp. Imagine being at home playing your CD player at a volume of 3 (if yours goes up to 10). That was how Badfish sounded. You could carry on a conversation right in front of them without raising your voice. NOT what I go to LIVE SHOWS for!! It was weird - you could see the guy playing the drums but could just barely hear them. I didn't know it was even possible to play drums so quietly. The band put forth NO FEELING - I admit they did a good job with the music - the music and singing kinda sorta sounded Sublime-ish, but imagine a high school variety show... okay one of the mid-level performers learned to play some Sublime tunes. Out of respect, you applaud that. You have to, simply for the effort. I mean it's Sublime. They deserve it. However this band comes very close to crossing the line into INSULTING. Because Bradley Nowell was all about FEELING - and whenever I play my Sublime CDs, I FEEL IT. So much so that sometimes it makes my eyes all watery. Badfish never came close to touching me inside. It was just some dudes just going through the motions! You could easily tell that they are only doing this so they don't have to work 9-5 jobs. Since there really isn't another Sublime tribute band, they found a niche. The very young people in the crowd seemed okay with it. Anyone who was alive on earth during the 1990's would take offense to the lackluster effort the band puts on. To top it off... they opened with JAILHOUSE!!! You know... that's the song that comes after SEED! So you know when you hear seed, you will yearn for Jailhouse. Not gonna get it however!

It was an amazing show. This was my 5th time seeing them and they never let me down. I actually got to meet the guys this time and they were the nicest most down to earth people and they recognized my friend and I! I recommend seeing Badfish over and over again

I grew up listening to Sublime & having the opportunity to hear their music live was an incredible experience. It's almost as if I was blasting their album music from a really awesome sound system. I'm very happy that this band is keeping the music alive. I've seen BadFish before, but this was the first time I've seen them to a Tribute to Sublime Act. Standing Ovation!

Bad fish was great I love seeing that but ballyhoo stole the show I think they need to be the closing act such awesome guys fell in love with them the first time I seen them open up for them
