I am so disappointed in the attendance of the WOMENS BASKETBALL TEAM... Come on people support the ladies. They play hard, very hard the least we can do is support them by attending a game and cheering them on. If you have a daughter that plays sports, attending a game will motivate her. If your daughter isn't playing sports this will motivate her to play sports. SPARKS games are so entertaining for all ages... Very inexpensive to attend a live sport with so much entertainment. . just saying. . Can't wait for Sunday..... woo hoo LET'S GO SPARKS! LET'S GO SPARKS!

The game was very entertaining ! The venue was very nice and clean. The venue staff was very hospitable. Thank you too to the Women's SC Basketball team for being such wonderful greeters. Glad the Sparks won, but win or lose it was a great game. As to the SC women's team thanks for giving us your schedule. We plan to attend a game or two!!

The first season game was fun, exciting and we beat the Detroit Shock. I also love the fact that Candice Parker was present even though she was not playing. I was up close to the court and saw Lisa Leslie's adorable little girl. Not to mention that I was sitting two seats away from the actress Helen Hunt. Supporting the Sparks on the courtside was Snoop Dogg. The best part of the event was that I went with my close friend who was waived from the LA Sparks due to an injury. We both love basketball and enjoyed the fast breaks and excellent game that the Sparks played.

We had an unforgettable time at the Staples Center watching the Sparks. The ladies played wonderfully, the crowd was energied, and I especially enjoyed the scissoring dribbles. The dancers during time outs and half were really cute as well.

I took two of my sons to the Sparks game. When I told them what I had done, they asked if this was really a sport. I laughed and we went. Not only did we get very good seats, but we were treated to a fun game. The basketball was good, and competitive, but there were no fights in the stands and we didn't get beer spilled on us. There were plenty of activities in the down times to keep us busy, the other fans were friendly and cordial. We struck up several conversations around us, and everyone seemed to be smiling. One of my sons told me he had attended several other sports, many in the Staples Center, and the competition was so very high that people were insulting, rude, and even violent. He told me he had a much better time at the Sparks game. It was very family oriented. I was a little disappointed that Lisa Leslie was unable to play due to an injury, but we got to see Candace Parker return. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience and I would do it again, and recommend it.

Attending this game was just awesome. Glad to see that the sparks were victorious on opening day and infront of the home crowd. The atmosphere was great, the entertainment was well planned. especially the tribute to Lovedy her presence will be missed her spirit and her memories will not be forgotten

The Sparks games have been awesome. My girls are basketball players and we have season passes. They have thoroughly enjoyed attending the games and watching their favorite players play. The energy is so exciting and the Sparks organization offers so many great programs for the kids. My daughters have had a chance to compete on the sparks court at a " Father & Daughters" event on Father's Day. They have met, taken pictures with and received autographs from all the players. Their pictures have even been posted on the Sparks website. This experience has been AWESOME. Lisa Leslie and Candace Parker Rock!!!

I am so grateful that I have this oppertunity to see Lisa play her final season, along side of Mrs. Parker and the great Tina Thompson. I just love the LA Sparks. Initially, I felt the energy, excitement from the sparks in the first quarter. . However, they seemed to have lost some of their genuine spark and connectivity with each other later as the game progressed. Overall, I thought that the sparks played fairly well considering that they did not win the game. I still love the sparks.

We had a great time at the last game. What I didn't like was when it was T Shirt throwing time that my 10 year old son couldn't get a T Shirt and we were sitting on the floor section 116 row A seats 1 thru 3. He danced and tried to get their attention as they ran by him but coudn't get a shirt. We found it interested that no matter where we sit we couldn't get a shirt. We will come again next year!

The game was great. Seats were great. Was excited that Atlanta won. The reason I don't support the Sparks or other LA teams is due to the whining and unsportsmanlike conduct that takes place at many LA events. The two men escorted out for heckling the Atlanta coach was minor compared to Candace Parker's response to the referees at the end of the game. It was literally the worst spectacle that I have seen in a long time. Walking across the floor and yelling at all of the referees. WOW. What a poor and negative role model she is for young children. Parker should have been fined and/or benched for a few games. The WNBA president should see to that. She has lost respect from some of her own fans as well as the leagues. Cry baby Parker needs to leave the sport of basketball and shouldn't be a representative for women's sports.

This was my 1st WNBA game but it wasn't my last! I plan on becoming a regular. I was hooked by the end of the first quarter. Dunks aside it was more action than any Clippers or Lakers game that I have gone to this past season.

This was my first WNBA game and in a foreign venue [I'm from Phoenix} but I was impressed. The Sparks fans were friendly, knowldgeable and enthusiastic. The crowd was small-[3-4000] but really into the game and the league. The seats were great, parking easy and close and burgers at the ESPN Rest. were VERY good.

Started off slow for the Sparks, in the begining of the 4th Quarter still not looking good. Half way into the game. OMG! what a turn of events. Here we go and start kicking Mercury butt. We go into overtime. I am at the end of my seat. Holding tight to my beer. WOW! from the get go we are ahead. We WON the game. The Sparks are a great team. Excellent game. The Fans loved it.

I traveled from the bay area just to see this game with my daughter, a die hard sports fan who'd only seen a WNBA game on TV. She loved it... Say's the ladies rule. As for me it was my first time seeing Maya Moore play live; and watch Candance Wiggins again. My only disappointment; Candance Parker was injured. But loved her spirit, as usual she was the first sparks player off the bench to root on her team; and as the fans join in she got more energised. All in all it was a great game and the best night to attend because it was gospel night so i got the best of both worlds even though my team lost. WNBA players are the best to their fans, some of the Minnesota Lynx players stayed for the gospel show talked and took pictures. We had a wonderful time....

Last week I saw 2 Sparks games, Sparks v. Sun and Sparks v. Lynx. While the efforts were great and they really didn't lose by much, the Sparks were AT HOME, and didn't defend their home court. As I looked at the Sun players from UConn, I thought all of them had at least 2 NCAA tournament championships under their belts. We need some UConn players who come from a winning tradition.

I rated it 4 stars because the Sparks lost and although they lost my family and I rooted for them all the way to the end, we had a great time. The energy at the Staples Center was awesome. Also it was gospel night and there was a free gospel concert after the game, which was a bonus for us.

The dbl header of the Sparks game and Gospel night was such a disappointment. I primarily went to hear Tye Tribbett in concert and COULD NOT hear him. It's seems like the Staples Center techs are cheap and decided to turn off the main surround sound speakers and left on only the floor speakers. That resulted in a cheap, low budget sound that you would never expect to hear at The Staples Center. Even Tye Tribbett complained repeatedly of the poor quality of sound. I would hope that it was not bc it was a gospel event and the sound was intentionally reduced...very disappointing to say the least.

The game experience was great for my 2-year old daughter and I. She loves basketball and I even met # 45 Noelle Quinn mother and sister. I hope that she will be able to come out after the season to speak with my varsity girls at New Millennium Secondary School in Carson ( third year charter school). The overtime excitement was great and wished I would of brought my whole team again as I did when they played for the first time at the Home Depot Center in Carson and last season for Lisa Leslie's last home game. Or was it her second to last home game...I believe it was her last, which was a great event as well. My point guard thinks Noelle Quinn is a great player and was amazed that I ranned into her mother and her sister. I was sad that I did not have a card on me to pass to them. She has a beautiful family. Looking forward to attending a few more games this season. Lastly, it was great to see so many kids in attendance and to hear how loud they were in cheering for their sparks. It was a great feeling and I know they have inspired many that day and many to want to be a Ladies Spark one day in their future.

On my first time I was surprised how many spectators do even not watch the match, but just plunge into their fast food. I liked the flashy noticeboards, which made us follow the game much easier.

Sometimes you are greater in defeat than all of your previous victories. The incredible determination and courage demonstrated by the Sparks players was something I will never forget. I have wakened in the night thinking about how fortunate I was to have witnessed such a battle--right down to the last second. Candace Parker played one of the most incredible games I have ever seen in any sport. She was too good to lose. The Sparks will win the WNBA Championship in the not too distant future. But that game will stand out as one my all time favorite moments.

This was our first Sparks game and we had a great time! It was at USC's Galen Center instead of the Staples Center where they usually play, and the crowd was small but SUPER into the game. I don't know the seating set-up at Staples but at Galen you really couldn't have gotten bad seats. We'll definitely try to go to more Sparks games in the future!

The Sparks made their fans a bit nervous in this first round game, coming out sluggish for two quarters. But then they turned it on in the third, and held off a couple of runs by San Antonio to take the first game of the series. A good crowd - and good third and fourth quarter basketball. They need to work on their defense if they want to get to the second round!

I Love Basket Ball--I love the squeak of the sneakers--I love the NBA but I also LOVE THE WNBA. If you watch basketball and you like the game--give the ladies a chance!! The half time show was also great. The WNBA games are very family friendly. We really liked the little kids that played basketball at the half and what a great opportunity for them to show off on such a special stage where Kobe, Shaq, Magic, & Kareem have had some of their best moments!!! L.A. is a great Basketball town and it's a wonderful gift for the fans!!!!!

Sparks game it was the first time for me & my wife our daughter had just been there thursday and had a great time I think being there twice n one week would b the hi-light of the summer for her being a ball player herself my friend was watching the game @ home and called me to ask if that was us sitting behind the Dreams bench I couldn't do anything but laugh we had a great time and there was a concert after the game couldn't loose .

best seats i could have possible gotten. i was right there at the tunnel when the team came out and was able to high five them as they went into the locker room.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time this was her first time going to a sparks game. She loved it so much that we will be going back tonight for the game. Its always a good experience to go to a sparks.

Took my 12 year old niece to the game. Great time! Even better when the Sparks won! Good environment, good gamesmanship, and a good sized crowd. Definitely worth the price.

The WNBA has some jewels. The level of some of this players are great and very competitive. I enjoyed the families enjoying and having a great time.

The facilities were nice at SDSU but the game was lame. No starters for the LA Sparks made the trip and the basketball was sloppy in the first half. Not a very good representation of the WNBA to bring on the road to try to recruit more fans. Overpriced for the product.

The playoff environment was there and it's great to catch a game at Pauley Pavilion! Just avoid seats 8-12 in section 116B. They're directly behind the basket.

The game was great if you were a Phoenix Mercury fan. The Mercury played excellent basketball and displayed the desire needed to win the first game of the western conference finals. The Los Angeles Sparks hung on to the bitter end but never played to their considerable ability. It was a bitter blow to the many fans who filled the stands at this legendary venue.

Once again, the Phoenix Mercury have played an absolutely flawless game ending up with the W. Sure, it was a battle up intil the end of the fourth quarter but they showed the fight and stamina and have truely honored womens sports in their great play.

Long time fan of the Sparks and had to be there to see LIsa Leslie in one of her last games. I was really expecting to see the girls go at it but seems they are content to lay down and let the Mercury run all over them. With the exception of Candace Parker and Tina Thompson, the girls looked lethargic and tired. Don't know how. They had more time to rest between games than the Mercury.
