70's Disco Fever

had me on my feet the entire time. All the performers were absolutely fantastic = well organized! there was a seat empty in row C where some of m friends were seating - so I was moved up a couple of rows.

It was the worst concert I have ever seen! So, many people walked out.

This was an excellent event with an amazing venue. Thank You Charlie Rodriguez.

This event was a summer downer. The venue was very mediocre and the sound system was great but WAY too loud. I had 7 friends attending and we could not even talk to each other. I kept my earplugs in the entire night. Advertised as starting at 7:30 pm, nothing happened until after 8:00 pm. The MC's spent most of the time practicing ego masturbation and every time Rodriguez came back on the stage, he was obviously more and more inebriated or high; they should both be canned. People came for the music - not them. It was good to hear most of the singers even though they were singing with recorded accompaniment. One exception was someone I did not recognize in a white jacket. It was blatent that he was lip synching to an old recording; it was really bad and we could not wait for him to get off the stage. Also, the drink and snack prices were outrageous - more than double what we paid down the street. All of my friends agreed that, for what we experienced, a ticket price of $35-45 would have been acceptable; $97 per ticket was way too high for the evening, especially since four of us took off work for the weekend and drove all the way from the west coast of Florida. Needless to say, we left early.

This concert turned out to be a high disappointment. The lip synching, the sound was terrible. Charlie rodriguez drunk on stage distasteful. I go to at least one concert a month, so I know what to expect. This so called concert was a total waste of time and money.

There were some sound issues and the acts were not all up to par... but the headliners surely made it up... kUdos to Miami's Teri Deserio and the brothers Tavares .... it was worth it.

I enjoyed this event. The Tavares was GREAT. The Tavares brothers performed with enthusiasm and had great singing voices.

The place good, the DJ good; the first 3 acts not a 'Disco Fever', too much talking and 'recognition awards for the price paid. Instead of having all these other performers that really did not perform (only the first group actually had a show to present) - You don't pay that kind of money for a sit that was tucked in a corner and a whole bunch of BLA, BLA, BLA... Been there done that!

We were very excited to spend an evening listening to such great performers, and this was not the case. The 'acoustics' at this venue were terrible. The host of the evening spoke way too much in delaying the acts to come out. The beverages/liquor served were perhaps of the lowest quality and expensive prices.

Too Much MC talking! It should always be about the music. The sound was really bad! We went to a similar event in Coral Springs and it rocked. All six of us were really disappointed.
