Mistletoe Meltdown

Perfect way to spend a Friday night with friends and family! 3rd meltdown I've been to and this was the best. Artists were very engaging with the crowd and Gavin even invited 3 girls on stage to dance and take selfies. Had such an amazing time! Can't wait till next year

O.A.R. got people on their feet and put on a great energetic show as always. Then Daughtry came on and sucked all the energy out of the room. Yes, I recognized most of his songs and they were popular, but just very mellow. I hate these seated venues, where they don't even let people stand at the rail. It just encourages the lazy people who want to sit through a rock concert. I bought floor seats in the hopes that I might make my way up front, so that was basically a waste of money.

First big concert I've ever been and an enjoyable one that I won't forget. The lineup performances were great, especially the main stars of the show, Backstreet Boys!

I REALLY LIKED THE SMALLER VENUE WITH SO MANY TOP ARTISTS. GAVIN DEGRAW WAS GREAT GOING THRU THE CROWD. OUR SEATS WERE PERFECT TO SEE THE STAGE AND WE COULD REALLY SEE THE ARTISTS WELL. THE PRICE WAS SUPER FOR THE 5 ARTISTS REPRESENTED. I WOULD DEFINITELY DO THIS AGAIN!

Gavin McGraw was great!!! Sara Barrellis sings like an angel!! Loved the energy of all the people especially when Backstreet Boys came out! Will be there next year! Only negative was it was scheduled for 6:30 pm on Friday and traffic on the highway to venue was terrible- missed first act. I left home at 4pm.

Great mix of artist. Gavin got the house pumped. Sara was enchanting and BSB brough it all to a close. Great show

The concert was so great, all the bands were so good!

The artists themselves were great. Sara Bareilles was the most interactive, and charming, of all the artists. BSB and Avril were my fave, but they had the least amount of merch out of everyone. Dissappointing. The only gripe I had was about the seats. Uncomfortable after an hour or so. My bum went numb! Lol

Awesome Show! Well worth the money! All the acts were Amazing!! My two teenage daughters and i had a blast!!!

The acts were great. Music into between acts was sad, depressing music that made everyone tired. Our tickets said we have 6th row seats 19-20, however when we arrived at the venue, the floor seats were standing room. This was not specified on the website. They took our tickets from us and gave us wristbands so I don't even have a ticket stub keep with my collection of concert tickets.

Backstreet Boys only get better with age!! This was a great concert. All guests were wonderful but Avril and BSB proved to be the best overall!!

Plain White Ts were awesome!! I wiss someone could have given us warning about being frisked before going into SECU. We missed the beginning of Plain White T's set because of that. I went to see Avril Lavgne mostly, but her set didn't have the pop I was expecting, or the sound was messed up. I had a hard time understanding or hearing her. I knew a few songs by Gavin DeGraw and Sara Bareilles, but their sets were fun and high energy. I couldn't understand a thing the Backstreet Boys said or sang. I don't know if it was the acoustics or what.

The line up for the concert was perfect, and I enjoyed every artist that performed. The seating was excellent, I dont think there could have been a bad seat to sit in. All five performers blew me away. Sara Bareilles was my absolute favorite though! I would recommend this to everyone! Only disadvantage was how long it took for set change!

The backstreet boys gave one of the best performances I have ever seen. They are true performers.

All of the acts were very engaging with the audience. Everyone sounded great especially Gavin DeGraw and the Backstreet Boys.

I had high hopes for the event, and it surpassed them. All of the performers were entertaining, they played to the audience, and were overall fun to watch. The turnover between acts was a little long, especially before The Backstreet Boys performed, but they were still great. So glad to see the Deejays from Mix 106.5 and 101.9 between sets. Was a really fun night that my friends and I will be talking about for a long time!

My husband and I were very excited for the event. The line-up was great, but we really felt the headlining act was rushed off the stage. I've seen BSB live two times prior and this was a big disappointment. I don't know if there was a time limit on how long artists could be on stage, but it just kind of ended with no encore, etc. and then we were told to immediately exit the venue.

This was one of the best nights of my life. Thanks for such a great line-up and for bringing the Backstreet Boys to Towson!!! Although I had my favorites coming in, ALL artists were amazing!!! The order of appearance didn't matter at all since they were all so great!

Overall it was a great show, but some changes could be made. For example the performers setup, they should have had the more mellow performers go first and the really energetic ones go before the main performers. By the time the Backstreet Boys were on, people had to "wake up" Sara Bareilles put people to sleep with her slow, mellow songs. Avril Lavigne or Gavin DeGraw should have been right before the Backstreet Boys.

Awesome arena, little upset it was cash only but amazing concert.

Great event, loved the performers, the only issue I had was with Gavin Degraw's sound- sometimes it was hard to hear his vocals over the background. No other issues! So many engaged performers under one roof

This was an impressive line up: The Plain White T's, Avril Lavigne, Gavin DeGraw, Sara Bareilles, and the Backstreet Boys. I was on the floor level for the first four acts, right in front of the stage. This was the first concert event held in the new SECU Arena and I know I'll be back for more in the future. The sound system was very good and the facility itself has great amenities. All the artist were amazing and each gave powerful performances. Gavin DeGraw can be forgiven for forgetting he was at Towson University and not Johns Hopkins. (He made up for it by moving through the crowd during the performance.) This was a great show and I had an amazing time from start to finish.

UNBELIEVABLE! Had such a great time. Incredible line up. Every artist was energetic and highly entertaining. What a great way to start the holiday!

We had great seats and the performers were very good but there were 3 unruly "ladies" directly behind us who SCREAMED IN OUR EARS the entire 2 hours forcing us to vacate our seats. The seats are not slopped enough to avoid getting yours ears pierced by ignorant people. Btw, we asked them politely not to scream but that request exacerbated the already deplorable behavior. I hated it and will never go again to the Lyric for this type of venue and I go to the Lyric at least 10 times a year..

Each year a great lineup of artists play in a small venue format. Great crowd interaction and family friendly.

All the performer were on top of their game. The night was well worth the price of the tickets.

Artists were very good--sound system was awful. Too bad since I am certain that the musicians performed well. Certainly there was a sound check sometime before the show? Come on folks!

This was incredible!! My husband and I took our 10 year old grandson. He was in Amazement !! He loved Andy Grammer the most!! Enjoyed the others also!! This was a Christmas present for him!!

We had a great time. The venue the staff everything was perfect.

Overall it was good. I really feel that all the performers should be signing live and not lip syncing. (Like the first performer)

First of all, the musical performers were all incredible. DJ's were very nice and personable and mingled with attendees before the show. My major complaint was the fact that I have never been to a concert that took so long to change sets in between performers as this concert before. What should have easily been over long before it actually was made quite a few people tired and bored. By the time the last performer was on stage, the audience had lost all their steam and interest in the concert if they even stayed at all. Most had already vacated the building. We had originally purchased seats in section 101 seats 1-3. I knew when purchasing them it said limited view. However, they were zero view. The only thing you could see on stage was literally the side of 2 large black amps. Thankfully I went into the box office and was able to upgrade my seats over one section which had a much better view. Overall, it was a decent concert experience; not the best but certainly not the worst I've ever attended.

this was my very first concert and it was the best experience i ever had, i took my mother since she had always gone to concerts and she even loved it as well except for the seats being real hard. even she said it was a lot better and more controlled then most concerts. i loved the whole experience except for they ran out of the band merchandise less then halfway through the concert. base kinda overpowered the vocals at times but still a great concert. they had an excessively long intermission between each band (30min) or so

This was our second year and we had a great time. Train was fabulous and worth the price of the ticket alone. We could of listened to them for all 4 hours. Great performance! Daughtry was a disappointment -lack of energy which we were waiting for. First two performers good but needed better sound system to hear voices clearly. Retro music between sets rocked!!! All the people in the arena up and dancing!

OAR and Daughtry were great but when Train came out they blew the roof off! they were fantastic. the only negative on the night was that the time between bands was way too long and made the night a long one especially for the kids.

The TU arena is a great concert venue. Easy to access with ample parking. The performers line-up was fantastic as well. Each performer was just as good as the next and I loved that Train/Daughtry joined each in their respective encores. What a great night of hot music to ward off the chills of December!

The Concert was awesome! My only complaint was that the performance was not up on the video screens so that the people way up high could actually see the bands up close!

It was a great show! All of the performers were excellent. It is a great venue for an intimate show. Not a bad seat in the house.

The entire event was a lot of fun the sound system for daughtry was ver poor. He was way too loud and there were only 2 members of his band that showed up. On the other hand O.A.R. 'S performance was unforgettable. Their saxophone player stole the show. And, as always Train's performance was 5 stars.

I had never seen any of these performers and enjoyed them all. O.A.R. Was a treat. Daughtry's 'unplugged' set was unexpected but special in the intimate setting of SECU Arena. And Train... If you have never seen them, make it a point to treat yourself to a show.

It started out mellow with Ingrid Michaelson. Then OAR turned up the volume. Then Daughtry played almost an acustic set. And then Train came on and blew the house down. All of the performers were great, really wanted to be there and their energy they gave to the audience was fabulous. OAR, Daughtry and Train sang all their hits which was a real treat. Such talent all in one place!! I loved it.

All 4 performers were fantastic. Acoustics were good. Parking was easy. What facility changes that could improve the event \u2026 it seemed like 1/2 hour intermission in between acts. 15 min would be plenty and we could get out 45 min earlier. Not enough bathrooms at this site. Women's bathrooms were crazy long (maybe that's why they had 1/2 hr in between acts?). Food lines were way too long. Would love to have bought a Mistletoe Meltdown T-Shirt but only L or larger available by the 1st intermission which is when I found them. We did appreciate the free chip & pretzel snack bags on the way out since I refused to get in the long food lines during the show. I'd go again next year but at least this time I'd know what to expect. Get there extra early for food, drinks & a tshirt & hope your bladder holds.

I missed the 1st 2 acts but Daughtry and Train were awesome. Wish they could have played longer. Daughtry did an acoutsic set which my husband at first was disappointed about but it was great.

I thought Train was great! But the other acts were kind of flat. Acoustic set from Dauhtry? Ok - that's great if you're at a coffee shop, but for an event marketed as a "Meltdown" it was more of a "Letdown". Will think twice before I buy next year's tickets.. Oh - if you're going to have Ingrid Michaelson there - LET HER PERFORM!!

A yearly tradition for my daughter and I and IT WAS AMAZING!! Daughtry and Train singing at the end was the highlight of the show. Thanks for the wonderful memories :-)

All the bands were great! They sounded good and it's a pretty intimate place to see a concert with big names. OAR put on a fun energetic show. Their music is just like a party Daughtry was mostly acoustic and sounded great. His voice is amazing. All he did was play hits! Train was excellent. Very high energy show. All hits...except one new song. It was a really fun show! The crowd SUCKED. First of all...I don't know why it was half empty. It was a great lineup! OAR had an up-tempo show...but nobody was dancing. They didn't even stand up and applaud at the end of their set. Just polite applause like they are a nobody. Same for Daughtry. Big name act. Nobody stood at all. I understand he was acoustic...but you don't just sit on your butt eh whole time

I love Train, Daughtry and they were amazing, however I spent most of the time waiting to see bands rather than seeing them perform. In contrast I went to JingleBall last night and there as no break in the action to get food, restroom or sit down. And for the investment of an evening, Jingle Ball was way more enjoyable than sitting and relaxing...and I am in the older demographic that was at Mistletoe Meltdown! Also wanted more Train songs - too few and missing key hits and significant favorites from earlier albums.

Long night. The bands were great but there was as much down-time to change equipment as there was artist time. Great musicians and worth the wait but it is a long night. Each act performs about seven songs.

We hit traffic and got there late but just in time for Ingrid Michaelson to see all her great songs. o.a.r is a relatively new group to me but we enjoyed their set tremendously. I was a little disappointed in Daughtry, it didn't sound like him but they put on a good show. And last but not least was Train who were absolutely amazing. They sang all their really good songs and put on a great show.

This was our first time watching but it won't be our last. We had a great time! All the artists were amazing, especially Train, who just brought down the house! The arena was a wonderful venue!

Each of the artists played for about 45 minutes which was way too short. The acoustic set by by Ingrid Michaelson and Daughtry was good but put you to sleep. Train was good, but only played for an hour.

I bought $100 tickets in order to sit in a chair, I get there and there no seats. Never in a million years would I have paid to stand that entire time. My feet were hurting so bad and there was no coat check. I was holding my winter coat and purse with my feet burning for 6 hours. We were in a mosh so no one could move to get anything to eat or drink. The concert was ok, but everyone was so uncomfortable that you could not enjoy it. I am SO disappointed.

Everyone who performed put on a good show and it was high energy the entire time. It's something I think everyone should go to see what its about. It was a dream to see the Backstreet Boys. Nick Carter and Gavin Degraw walked into the audience.
