I loved this show! I drove out 2 hours to St. Petes for this show and it was amazing. I have always loved Ryan Cabrera but never saw him live. Most importantly I loved Deleasa and everyone should go see him!

The show was awesome. The opening band "Death By Unga Bunga" where great. The venue "Brighton Music Hall" is a very nice club to catch a show.

Been loving this band for years and have been waiting around to see them live but hadn't had any luck till i saw that they were going to be at the Troubadour. The show was excellent. Vocals and sound quality was really good. It was an energetic performance and the crowd was really into it. Cant wait to see them again.

I remember Milkshake being a big hit in the early 2000s with lots of video play on MTV. More recently I had downloaded Jerk Ribs for free thanks to my Starbucks app. I didn t know what to expect from this show, since those were literally the only two Kelis songs I was aware of. Kelis was sassy and soulful. Her voice a bit raspy and you couldn t always hear the words she was singing. I m not sure if that was the sound or her voice not being strong without production assistance. She appeared to be having a great time on stage. Her crowd interaction was fun to watch. She sat down at the end of the stage and took a photo with a birthday boy. Then sassed him a bit for trying to get too touchy. She performed a more soulful, slower version of Milkshake which fit well into the rest of her set. She ended the show with Bless the Telephone , a newish song that required her to hold the lyrics in her hand. Overall I enjoyed the show.

John Vanderslice

San Francisco local musical gem John Vanderslice kicked off a Cd-release tour at The Rickshaw Stop on Tuesday , and... yeah! what a show. JV is one of those artists who writes songs that feel like short stories that rock. Bunnies escaping, deer outside the front door and horses can be perfect metaphors. He has a new Cd Romanian Nights with songs so good I wasn't too disappointed I didn't hear some of my favorites from Emerald City at the show. If you don't catch one of his lives shows this tour-round, check out his discs.

My boyfriend is a HUGE Rose Hill Drive fan and it was great that we got to meet all of them last night at the Stone Temple Pilots show in Philadelphia. Very down to Earth guys who would talk forever to you if they could. They performed their asses off and listening to them on CD and live just isn't the same. You guys are under-rated. Can't wait to see ya again! (Jim and Lisa)
