Boo Bomb

This year s line up was awesome!!! Last year s was good but this year s was better. Ying Yang Twins would ve brought down the house but they didn t show up. Can t wait to see who the line up is next year! We might make this an annual girls night!!!

We have so much fun! It was a Great event! All the artists were fantastic! We will definitely be going next year and bringing a bigger group!

I had one of the many best times of my life. Although the beer was hella expensive!!

The concert was a nice 90s throwback mix. I really enjoyed it.

No matter how many times you have seen these playerz this act still gets the respect. Each one of these artists are why many of us enjoyed middle school, high school and college. your lady of the past or present will either flash back or see a side of you caged by todays hustle and bustle of everyday "responsible" life, check you suite and tie and name tag at the door and get ready to smile, grind and scope on da honeys as flash back throw back house is happening! you can catch this tour a couple times a year as it is popular with radio stations and festivals. Thank you Jamn 107.5 of Portland and thank you 95.5 of Seattle for this summer. Peace Out!

Loved Bone Thugs, E 40, Sir and DJ Quik! All gave great memorable performances:) I would have likes if Ja Rule did more songs without the female counterpart that clearly wasn't there. Maybe he could've had a back up singer fill in? The venue was good, not too crowded, although there was a lot of pot smoking going on even though it wasn't allowed. Clearly some people didn't care. Bottom line, music and performers came to give a great show and they did:)

Great concert everyone killed it especially bone thugs only drawback was ti mic was louder then the bass and made his performance sound awful.

Bone Thugs and Ja Rule made the show but the rest were meh. The drink line was too long and I wasted half of the show waiting for the bathroom and drink line. Unbelievable to only have two areas for drinks. What a waste of time and money.

The performance and collection of artist for the theme of throwback was perfect!

I had a blast at boo bomb! Thanks jammin 107.5 for showing me and my friends a good time.

This event was WAY better than last years. However Digital Underground was AWFUL and it ruined the upbeat mood of the night... and the mood never fully recovered! LOVED it until that point.

It was an amazing event, can't wait until next year! I just wish they would have a better hold on individuals taking pot in there. After the first 15 minutes, it smelled really bad. Just a non-smokers opinion :)

I was so excited to go to Boo Bomb the first time... especially to see Bone Thugs N Harmony, Chingy, and the Ying Yang Twins. Once the concert was rolling... one of the YYT didn't show and the one that did was so inebriated that it was a half ass performance. Not all of the Bone Thugs showed up which was disappointing, Lloyd was R&B which did not match all of the other rap performers. The only saving graces were Too Short and Chingy. I'm glad I didn't spend the $80 for better seats.. I've seen Bone Thugs 4 other times at different venues. While I am not sure, I believe the disorganization came from Jammin 107.5. They also had long intermissions between acts that the same DJs kept coming out to pitch their radio station and upcoming events... disappointing.

The second Boo Bomb was way better than this last one

Boo bomb has been amazing year after year. This line up was incredible! If you haven't gone, do it.

This event was spectacular! All the artist were absolutely amazing!

All of the groups really were very entertaining. The in-between djs were ok, but some spent too much time onstage. The structure of the whole this was horrible- having an intermission makes almost no sense even for swapping out DJ equipment. Shock G brought the mood down with some great music, but it didn't seem like it fit the rest of the concert. Everyone started chilling out(or leaving) and then immediately after his performance ended, there was an intermission. Nonsense. Also, I don't know if this was determined by the groups, but the order of the concert should've had Naughty by Nature in Salt'n'Pepa's slot(midway thru 1st set), Coolio in NBN's slot(opener for the headliner), and Salt'n'Pepa as the headliner. This is not to say Coolio and NBN aren't great, but the order makes little sense when you consider Salt'n'Pepa had armloads of hits everyone knows, Coolio and NBN have like 3 songs each that everyone knows. Just something to consider for next time. I really did enjoy myself, but this concert really could be better organized. I also found it weird how many times the crowd was asked to "make some noiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiise!!!". I've never experienced that at a concert before.

But my seats SUCKED!! I paid a lot of money for what I thought would be GREAT seats. Sec 101 Row B seats 19&20. Turns out everyone that had floor seats came down my isle and stood there until someone checked their tickets. The line was constant. Then all the back and forth to go get more drinks/food/bathroom. The only way I could see was to stand up the entire time and look over the heads of people. I was SO disappointed.

Show was awesome .I wish they would of had viewing screens up the artist liked like ants from the 200 section's. The show was pretty great though.

I loved the concert i thought my seats would be closer to stage.

I give it a one because of Warren G. Why have one ying yang, instead give Too Short more stage time. Not made at Too Short just should had been the headliner. We went to boo bomb 2 yrs ago and that was fun!

The sound system wasn't great for the type of music and the artists. I love old school jams, but I was not impressed this year at all. Not sure I'll go back for $50...

best show ever!!! will be back in portland to see the show again.

Loved the show but there was obvious backstage issues going on

I was really looking forward to this show but left very disappointed. Everyone up to Shock G was decent. I was not expecting Salt N Pepa to be my favorite for the night, but they were by far the best performers in that it seemed they actually prepared for their show. Shock G should have been taken off of the stage- it was 30 minutes of pure garbage forcing people to either leave or nearly fall asleep. This was then followed by an intermission! I thought that was the intermission, so literally we wasted an hour. This was simply poor planning that resulted in losing the audience. After the intermission, Naughty by Nature was interesting to say the least. Simply put: they were waaaaay too high, as evident by their frequent shout-outs to Portland weed stores. I was really looking forward to Coolio but the songs were almost recognizable. It may as well have been karaoke. Overall, this was a very disappointing show and an hour and a half could have easily been cut out. Boo Bomb is a pretty appropriate name since this show bombed it pretty bad.

Great show, Luda went over time cuz he kept interacting with the Audience. Black street were as good as they were 18yrs ago.

I attended the boo bomb last yr it was a awesome show. But, this year I can't say the same. It was good until digital underground and then it totally killed the vibe of the concert. Hope that the people that are booked next yr play and sing there own music and do more singing than talking. Not sure if we will attend again.

all acts were solid except for Shock G, Coolio, and Tone loc. They were not impressive. Rob Base, Melle mel scorpio and SnP where great

I was at the first boo bomb and then this one. This one was much better than the original. Ludacris was amazing, en vogue, candyman, etc. So much fun! the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there were several long periods of time between performers that the 107.5 people came out and announced they were just trying to kill time. I understand having to make sure everything is just right so we get the experience we deserve, but even having a DJ in between sets spinning would have kept the vibe much smoother. Either way I had a great time and will definitely be coming back.

Too much hype for a major BIG let down. The event could have been an hour and half long of songs instead of three painful hours of laud annoying dj's .

Salt N Peppa was the best show ever, Coolio and Shock G was a let down.

Horrible sound, very rough, bad vocals, boring lightning. Essentially, poorly planned and poor performances

The concert was awesome. Every one's performance was excellent except for Shock G. I was upset and really expected more since I like a lot of his songs. It almost ruined it for a Naughty by Nature and Coolio but luckily for them they know how to rock the mic.

Blackstreet did a great job taking us back in time with the choreographed dancing, as well as en Vogue. En vogue took way too long on their performance, presenting "new" material, which defeated the throwback purpose. Ludacris was AMAZING!! He knows how to present a good show! He had a very well planned and thought out performance. With ALL HIS BIGGEST HITS!!! He had so many hits, it was amazing to see how much he has accomplished!! All of my money and more would've been spent on Ludacris, loved the experience.

The concert started out great, Rob Base and Salt n Peppa rocked the show! It was totally worth the money. However Digital Underground killed the vibe and emptied out about half of the stadium... it only went downhill from there. Coolio and Naughty by Nature sounded like hell. It was definitely not a good end to the show and would have been better if those two bands only did 2 songs early in the show. All in all a good concert but definitely not great.

Unorganized event with long boring gaps between artists, no video screens and no flow to the night . Other than that, the crowd was very polite and tolerant. Shock G should have been pulled off stage, I looked around my area and everyone was on their phones, ignoring the act, it was embarrassing. He bored an entire arena of people. The rest of the acts seemed unrehearsed, none of them sang all of their songs and the mix of all the other genres of music was odd.

I had such a great time and I loved that it went on so late! Luda killed it, as did En Vogue.... they were all just so great. I was however bummed jagged edge didn't make it, it would have been nice to know, but I love blackstreet! Only negatives is that people were in our seat and we were directed to sit somewhere else until I realized I was correct about my seat, I felt bad having to get a different usher and have them move over but I picked our seats for a reason. And the other downfall was all the smoking (cigarettes and weed) in the bathrooms. It's crowded in there, and while I don't care what people do on their own time, I wasn't really fond of having to be in smoke to wash my hands, and pee and have to smell like weed. Not everyone smokes. Other than that, I was impressed and had a good experience. Would definitely go again!

Everything was going great and I was enjoying the concert until digital underground performed, you know the humpy dance guy. I didn't know what was going on because there was this guy playing on a keyboard for like 20 mins and then he stopped and started to perform his hit. After he performed there was a 20 min intermission that totally ruined the vibe and flow of the whole concert. Then naughty by nature and coolio performed. They were painfully terrible and I had to leave half way through coolios performance. I went last year and had a great time, not sure of I will go next year.

They ROCKED IT!!!! It was an amazing concert. Soo many people, everyone got along, everyone sang along, everyone jumped up and danced.

If you like to see bands that don't play their full songs, annoying host, and poor timing issues then this was the show for you. I loved most these groups in my youth and was completely underwhelmed.

Great lineup, each artist was fun, kept the energy up and sounded good. Why could it be better? Drop the Intermission, way to kill the energy of the night. If you're going to have an Intermission can we at least get some music? Dead air at a concert is a serious no-no. Its a 107.5 show they couldn't at least give us their radio station? Hire an EM or someone for the love write a script for the 107.5 DJ's. One would think people who TALK FOR A LIVING could say more than "uhh they sent us out here because the artist isn't ready" Do some give aways, get a DJ or a hype boy to come out and fill the dead air (again dead air at a show WTF?). Jumbo screen would be good for the cheap seats and its nice to actually see the performers faces. Better venue - there are so many great venues in PDX why go to Moda? No room to dance, tons of empty seats. Over priced everything.

Started out a little slow but got better with each performance! And they definitely saved the best for last with ludacris!

it was a great show over all. It was building and getting Hotter with each set until we hit Digital Underground and it seemed that everyone around us thought it was intermission during their set, and I did not feel the show recovered to the same or higher energy level after that.

The concert overall was good but I was confused on why coolio was the finale and why digital underground was so bad. By far salt n peppa and naughty by nature were the best and one of them should of headlined. The end of the concert was a complete fail with coolio ending it and I ended up leaving early.

I was extremely excited to see this show, and I had a great time, yet it was very poorly organized. Ludacris was the headliner and he came out 30 minutes after he was scheduled and only performed for about 30-40 minutes. Jagged edge was supposed to be the biggest opener before him, but they replaced them with some no namer and failed to even mention that or even apologize during the show. Very disappointing and believe me, we were not the only ones. We had floor seats and someone was sit ting in our seats because they said someone stole theirs? The staff there were completely clueless to what was going on and where people were supposed to sit. It was very cool seeing ludacris but that's about it!

Came for salt n pepa! Tone loc and coolio were good! Honestly could've done without the rest! Last year was way better. This year had too long of intermissions, ran longer and seemed like we were just waiting possibly because of meet and greets during show. I dunno. Wasn't impressed like last year with artist selections!

Had an awsome time. Great groups, no one sucked this time. Well go again next year.

Sooooo many great acts all under 1 roof. My husband & I very much enjoyed listening to the artists we grew up with. Can't wait to see who's on next year's lineup!

I was really anticipating all these great artist and they showed up and did their thing but the sound system was terrible, their mics weren't what they needed it to be. I was so disappointment. Luda definitely wasn't having it he did his mic check before entertaining which the rest of the groups should have had the opportunity to do. Can't say if I will be back

The night started off fun. I enjoyed Rob Base and Salt N Pepa and the crowd was up for a good time. Then there started being long waits between the acts and the music - already a bit weak - went downhill. Digital Underground was a huge disappointment and Coolio was so bad we finally left. Throughout it all many of the artists asked the same questions (how many 70s/80s/90s babies out there)? Repeated the same shout outs and basically phoned it in. Overall, what could have been a great throwback party was just mediocre.

It was a great night. I brought my son (18) and his friend (20). It was great to hear them sing the songs I listen to when I was their age :)

The artists I came to see (Ton-Loc, Coolio, Salt n Pepa) where great, and if all else would have been expected I this would be a 5 start rating. I absolutely can't believe there was no place to dance, or that the handful of people who were dancing were getting so much hell from the ushers (who were actually quite polite). Usher: "Am I going to have to tell you every time I pass to stay in your seat." Yep dude, you are.

Was expecting a little more for the price the artist's did great but the setup looked cheap and quickly put together

Let's start with the good, it was pretty loud.. That's it. I came to boo bomb with a party of 6.. The music was loud, but the consistency was garbage. The artists it seemed had no idea really what the DJ was going to do next, as if it was improvised. We tried to dance but it was so crowded with the stadium seating that we either stood and wiggled, or sat down... Disappointing to say the least. The best part was when naughty by nature when on and kept shouting "where the ni***s at" and there was just a sea of motionless white people unsure what to do with all this garbage. I'm glad this was a throwback and not an actual show or I may have been more upset with the performance.

Great concert, just wish the sound was better! Can't wait till the next Boo Bomb or throw back concert, because I wouldn't miss it!!

Everything was great except that I pad for my ticket 40.00 each when i could of paid the 22 bucks and had the same seating .. other thank that it also would have been nice if they had the jumbo screen.

I have not been to a concert in many years and I truely enjoyed this one. It is something that I would definately go to in the coming years.

The show had all the hits I expected it to have. However, being an event coordinator myself, I saw a lack in program organization. There was a lag in set up between some sets, and the hype of the night seemed to flow backwards. Resulting in a lot of people leaving early. Great concert in general, I look forward to see what next year has to offer.

It was a great event for the price, about 7 or 8 performers, though the transitions between acts could have been better at keeping the atmosphere more stable. In other words, the crowd would get hyped during one performance, then it would die down, then have to get hyped again for the next performer. Still, all in all, it was a good show.

Boo Bomb throw back concert was amazing and all the rappers showed up!!

It was made clear to me by each performer that I should make some noise...and raise my hands in the air. It was a fun event, which brought back great memories from the past, but the only quality performance was from Shock G. Too bad it was mostly a slowed-pace lounge music session in the middle of so much energy. Great to see Grandmaster Melle Mel, Rob Base, Salt-n-Pepa, etc.

Showed up a I little late to the concert but when I finally got there I was soooo not dissaponted, everything was amazing the artists the performances, I hope there's another year of this event.memorable

We were not impressed. Not Worth The Money and TI sucked.
