It was different due to the video filming and not their usually non-stop playing but they kept it real and made the audience feel like family. Very talented musicians and we always love seeing them. Fantastic and keep it real....

Tramps Like Us are a fantastic tribute band....if you are a fan of Bruce Springsteen music; you will be impressed with their covers of the Boss's classic tunes. What made the show so amazing was the band's commitment to reviving a classic Springsteen concert experience by adopting the playlist of one of his legendary shows, the 4 hour marathon concert from New Year's Eve 1980@ Nassau Coliseum. Whether you are a long-time fan looking to relive Bruce and the E Street Band at their heights, or a new-comer hoping to get a feel for what those classic shows were like- Tramps Like Us delivers. Solid musicianship led by Mark Salore's vocal and guitar work and Brian Ognan on the sax. Unlike other tribute bands, the members don't try to physically resemble Bruce and the band; but they imitate wonderfully where it counts- in the music and passion of their performance.

Thought we were listening to the E Street Band back in 1980. Was disappointed that The Boss did not show up, and I understand he was around the corner at the Wonder Bar with Southside Johnny.. I think he does not like big crowds at the venues. My first time at the Pony and I will be back, FYI dinner at McLoone's grill was great.

This was my first time hearing Tramps Like Us. Awesome show - it was just what we needed for our Bruce "fix" between tours. The Pony is great and was filled. Our only disappointment was finding out Sunday morning the real Boss was a block away at the Wonderbar Saturday night! But we had a great time and made some new friends.

I am a huge Bruce fan and I went in sceptical about how this band would be. Let me tell you....they may as well have blown the doors off of the stone pony. They had a sold out crowd and played an amazing 4 and a half hour set. If you are looking for the BEST BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN cover band you will find them in Tramps Like Us

FEBUARY 25TH AT FOXBORO MA WAS MY 10 TIME SEEING "TRAMPS LIKE US" AND IT AMAZES ME HOW THEY GET BETTER AND BETTER EACH TIME. THE 1ST TIME I WAS THEM WAS IN NEWPORT RI AT THE NEWPORT BLUES CAFE AND I LEFT THERE SPEACHLESS, REALLY I DID, I SANG AND YELLED SO MUCH MY VOICE WAS GONE, LOL. EACH MEMBER OF THE BAND IS GREAT AND PLAY THEIR INSTRUMENT SO WELL I CAN'T TELL, IF I CLOSE MY EYES, IF IT'S THE E STREET BAND OR NOT! THE ENERGY AND EXCITMENT AT A TRAMPS SHOW IS AS CLOSE TO SEEING BRUCE AS YOU EVER WILL GET, TRUST ME, I'VE SEEN BRUCE 38 TIMES. IT'S A SMALLER AUDIUANCE BUT IT MAKES IT SO MUCH MORE PERSONAL AND AFTER THE 3HR SHOW THE BAND MEMBERS HANG AROUND AND MEET AND TALK WITH YOU ONE ON ONE, HOW COOL IS THAT? EVEN IF YOU ARE A DIE HARD BRUCE FAN, AS I AM, I SUGGEST YOU CHECK OUT TRAMPS AND I GUARENTEE YOU WILL BE PLEASED! FOXBORO, FOR THE THIRD TIME, ON JUNE 17TH, 2011 @ SHOWCASE LIVE. DOORS OPEN AT 6PM, SHOW & 8PM. GO EARLY FOR A NICE DINNER, ALREADY HAVE MY VIP (BOOTH) TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS MARK & THE REST OF THE THE BAND, YOU ALL ROCK!

The singer's voice is eerily similar to that of Springsteen's. A high-energy performance throughout. My only complaint: The tables down front. Tramps Like Us plays music that people want to dance to. Everyone in the bar area was ready for some grindin' and gyratin' but there was no room for it. Bruce Springsteen does not condone dinner theater.

Tramps like us is truely amazing. If you want to see an energy packed show Tramps like us is the band to see. I have seen Bruce many, many times and Bruce is by far my favorite artist. The only difference between seeing Tramps like us and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band is the name. Don't get me wrong, Bruce is the best as a showmen and can hold an audience in his hands. In time I believe Mark will do the same thing. The Sax and keyboards are outstanding. I watched in complete disbelief. As I closed my eyes I was sure I was listening to the E street band. I would suggest if you ever have a chance to see Tramps Like Us don't miss it. I'm going again Feb. 25th and will go as many times as possible.

Very simple review here. These are five quality musicians who do a great job re-creating Springsteen's music. I also appreciate that they don't try to act like Bruce or any members of the E Street Band (for instance, the sax player is a short white guy!). This is truly a tribute--not a reenactment, which is the best compliment you can give a tribute band.

Hi, I am a huge Bruce Springsteen fan and have attended 17 Bruce shows. I was extremely skeptical going to see a Bruce tribute band because I am such a fan but Tramps Like Us blew me away. Their talents are undeniable and I was pleasantly surprised with how great they sounded. Tramps Like Us now have a HUGE fan in me. I can not wait to see them again. I hope they will consider doing more shows in Massachusetts so I can go more often. I will be there in February for sure. Thank you!!!!!

I have seen Springsteen 240 times since 1977 and took my otherwise Disco loving gf to this as her first introduction to Bruce like concerts and she loved it. They are a smaller version than the E-Street band and so couldn't always replicate the sound, but there were certainly many moments when the did. Mark, the band leader sang with Bruce's post reunion voice (e.g. less raspy and more melodic than earlier Bruce). The set list was a repeat of the classic "Piece de Resistance" show of Sept 1978, but they made little attempt to replicate the stage patter of the time. It would have been nice for example if Mark had started the show in a tweed jacket as was Bruce's habit at the time ... but if that is my biggest issue, it is sure to be a great time for any fan - new or old.

I am a huge Bruce fan. I have been to other Bruce tributes and is a fun energizing experience. Tramps like us put on a decent show and have a really deep catalog which was impressive. The music sounded very good and the crowd seemed to enjoy the event. The lead singer did not really connect with the audience. I think he could have done a better job making the crowd feel like part of the show, as Bruce does. He was not engaged. I was also surprised by his lack of professionalism on the stage as he ordered rounds of shots and drinks for he and the band from the mic, mid show. And it was most surprising how he through is empty glass across the stage. I am not a huge fan of this tribute! If you cannot see the real deal, I would suggest Bruce in the USA. Much better act.

When I bought my tickets it was just published as a normal show. Weeks after my purchase they announced that the show setlist was changed and they were going to play one album in it entirety. It would have been nice if the band had made this announcement when the tickets were released for purchase. If I had known I wouldn t have wasted my money buying tickets. Sorry but not impressed.

If you are a Bruce fan, you will love Tramps Like Us. They recreate Springsteen songs with precision and heart. The sax player is amazing as is the keyboard player. Lead singer does a great job of singing the songs just like Bruce would. As the evening progresses, you almost feel like you are watching the real thing! By the end of the night everyone was dancing and singing along, just like at a Bruce concert.

THEREFORE I HIGHLY SUGGEST IF YOU ARE A SPRINGSTEEN FAN AND HAVE A CHANCE TO SEE TRAMPS LIKE US, DO IT! I PERSONALY ASURE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED. IT IS AN EVENING OF GREAT MUSIC, EXCITMENT AND FUN. TRAMPS LIKE US PUTS THEIR FOCUS ON THE "SOUND". These guys are great. I've seen them 3 times now and every show has been amazing. They aren't cheesy and trying to "be" the band, they just focus on the music and do a fantastic job. They bring Bruce's music to life and it may be sacrilegious but I get the same rush as I do when I see Springsteen, only it's really nice to be at a smaller venue.

I had heard they were good...they were better than I thought they would be. They nailed the Winterland Show. Lots of fun. We were singing and dancing in the back of the venue all night long. Love this place to see a show and this was a fun night out during the hectic holiday season. My husband and I had a date night and it was fun and a great stress relief. Of course it is now making me look forward even more to the real thing! The Springsteen tour can't start soon enough in my opinion!

My Wife, my Son and I saw a recent performance of Tramps Like Us recreating a Springsteen Show from December of 1978. We thoroughly enjoyed the show. The Tramps captured the spirit of some of Springsteen's most moving songs. Spirits in the Night, Promised Land and Streets of Fire stand out in my mind. It was a great set list from Bruce and the Bands most productive and most creative era. The band was tight and the singer was pretty much spot on. Great voice inflections and proper musical phrasing. You can't hear this song list anywhere else except perhaps at a Springsteen Concert. Well worth the ticket price

Another amazing show was put on by Tramps Like Us, Friday night December,23rd at Showcase live. It's hard for me to put into words just how remarkable this band is. With a festive Christmas atmosphere Tramps took the stage at 8pm and continued to Rock, Perform and Entertain for 3.5 hours. Mark mixed in a little story telling with some of the songs and it was just great ( Kenny, what's in you're closet????) LOL! All the band members, Ken on keyboards, Jon on bass guitar, Brian ( Bo-Man) on sax, Rudy on drums and Mark, lead guitar, harmonica and vocals were, as usual, on their game and put on a fantastic, energy filled, exciting show. If you are a Springsteen fan and get the chance to see Tramps Like Us, DO IT! You will not be disapointed. It has been my experience that each time leaving a Tramps show, Friday night was my 11th time, I am more impressed then the prior time seeing them. I have been a Springsteen fan since I was 13 years old, I am 50 now, I have been a Tramps fan since the 1st time I saw them in Newport RI 4 years ago. There are many cover bands that try, and I say try, to sound and look like the band they are covering. Tramps does not try to look or copy. Mark and the rest of Tramps focus on the SOUND! I listen and it seems that I am at a Springsteen & the E-Street Band concert, AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING! Keep Rocking Guys, see you soon!

The 2 hour drive was well worth it! The Boss (Tramps Like Us) played first. They were great. The guy playing Bruce sounded almost like Bruce himself. They played Born To Run in its entirety and several other songs as well. Lots of energy, great musicians and great sound. Billy (Movin' Out) were also great. The guy playing Billy didn't sound as much like Billy as the guy playing Bruce sounded like Bruce, but he was still really good. His piano playing was excellent as was the rest of the band. They played the Stranger in its entirety and several other songs as well. While the Springsteen songs had more energy overall, both bands were very enjoyable. NYCB Theatre at Westbury is a great place to see a show. It's a very small theater. If you can't get tickets to see the real thing, both of these bands are well worth seeing. They might not be Bruce and Billy, but they ain't bad!! And because they aren't Bruce or Billy, the venues they'll play in are much smaller than the ones Bruce and Billy would play in, making it much more of an intimate setting.

Just saw Billy meets the Boss in Westbury Ny great show, both Bands were high energy and did an impressive job recreating the sound and feel of their respective hero. Tramps Like Us began with Born to Run in order and nailed every note finishing with some other fan favorites such as Glory Days, Dancing In the Dark and Rosalita which brought a few of them out into the audience. The Movin Out Band began with Miami 2017 then moved into the Stranger album doing a fantastic job on each and every song this was great value for a Friday night out

Tramps Like Us show last night at the Pony was kind of a dream come true. If I was bored and daydreaming in an English class in high school, this would be close to the list of songs i would write on the back of my notebook for a Perfect Bruce Springsteen concert. The fact that Bruce himself played this exact concert on Aug 30, of this year, at MetLife Stadium makes me happy that Bruce finally was on the same wavelength as his longtime fans and makes me sad that I didn't see it. Thank God then for TLU recreating it so quickly after it happened. TLU have been recreating concerts since literally the first time I saw them back on Feb. 11, 2010 (looked it up) at BB King's. That night they did the Capitol show from September 1978. Over the years they've recreated more iconic shows from 1975, 1978, 1980 and "the last great Bruce concert" from August 1984. That was before he got married and divorced and married again, had kids, moved to LA, broke up the E Street band and his music had some great moments, but got increasingly ordinary over those years. So TLU's shows mostly reflect the Golden Age of his music, the first Magnificent 7 albums. And for some reason, Bruce himself played 3 shows in Jersey 6 weeks ago highlighting those albums (but only one song from Nebraska). Pulling 4 or 5 songs from each. With a few select covers mixed in and only two "newer" songs. One of the newer songs is now 24 years old. LOL TLU played all 34 songs from that night, plus one extra for a neat 35. Bruce played for 4 hours and 1 minute, TLU I think played for 4:05 They came on at around 8:40, took a 10 minute break and finished at about 12:55. A lot of practice had to go into this show as they played a few songs that I've never even heard them play, and Ive seen them about 15 times now. If I was to pick my 5 favorite songs other than Born to Run and Rosalita, they would be Candy's Room, Out In the Streets, Its Hard to be a Saint in the City, Jungleland and New York City Serenade. All 5 made it into this show!!!! I've seen Bruce 12 times across 9 tours and I've only heard him play three of these songs ever and Candy's Room only twice. I never heard him play NYC Serenade, so what a treat to hear TLU lead off with it, as Bruce did Aug. 30. Note for note. Perfect. Then they played Bruce's first song off his first album, Blinded By the Light and they were off and running. Adding their own signature to these iconic songs. Like during Blinded they finish off big with a bit of the Manfred Mann version. Throughout the night they played the songs in order but with their own flourishes. Like She's the One, pounding out a concussive Bo Diddley/Not Fade Away finale. "The Animal" Marty Matelli hits the bass drum with such a force that you feel your heart being blasted through your back. 35 songs. You are lucky if you get 20 songs from most live bands. And what percentage of those do you really like? Here, 26 of the Bruce songs I love. And 4 of the covers, too. The only two songs I didn't care for were a Manfred Mann cover called Pretty Flamingo and 1992's Living Proof. The one song they added to the setlist, which was mysteriously not in the original show was Thunder Road. The crowd more than happy to sing at the top of their lungs, whenever birthday boy Mark Salore was a bit too tired to do it on his own. The highlight of the night? For me and judging by the response of the crowd was one of the last songs, Animal House's Shout (Isley Brothers). People jumping, clapping, singing, getting pumped despite the long night and late hour. There are few seats at the Pony and none on the hard floor, so if you are committed, you are standing and dancing for 4 hours. Well when Mark sang the part, "get a little bit lower now, get a little bit lower now" 90% of the mostly middle aged crowd squatted as best they could, but one woman's Pilates classes worked for her and she got almost down to the ground as the song intends. My knees were screaming, so there was no chance. LOL Finally, the newest addition to the band is a real find. John "G-Man" Winton, a graduate of Vassar, this stellar Saxophonist seemed like a real one man show. On stage playing guitar, mandolin, percussion, very important keyboard parts and singing both low and high notes when need be, like on Summertime Blues "I was too young to vote." Plus at times he looked like a real fan of Bruce's music, watching him watch Mark play certain difficult Springsteen parts and having a big thumbs up in his smile. Can you applaud your bandmate? Your band leader? It looked like he wanted to a couple of times. 5 Bananas (out of 5)

Great show guys!!! Awesome job! The band came out ready to play and left it all out on the stage!

The Band & lead vocalist were great. The choice of songs played was poor. They chose some very obscure / unpopular songs to perform from Springsteen's earliest albums. The lead singer is extremely talented but the set list played is questionable....

Tramps Like Us was AWESOME! My husband has been to over 40 Springsteen concerts so if HE was satisfied, they pass a tough litmus test. I couldn't wait for the Billy Joel cover band to come on and we left in the middle of the second song! They are the only reason I am not recommending this event. If you can find Tramps Like Us by themselves and you are even a lukewarm Springsteen fan, you won't be disappointed! As for the Billy Joel cover band, I knew within the first few notes that they were a complete miss. First of all, he's THE PIANO MAN! The electric guitar was completely drowning out any and all lyrics and the sound was just awful. Why oh why would they choose to have an overwhelming electric guitar dominating the stage when he's all about piano?? I've seen Billy in concert and this was just awful, awful. What's so great about cover bands is that they usually sound so much like the original (for a fraction of the price and I can always get great seats at Westbury) but this entire ensemble was just a miss. The lead singer wasn't that great and he should have "channeled" a little bit more Joel into his act and he just reminded me if a nerd doing karaoke. Believe me, I love Billy Joel songs and really wanted to hear them, but I couldn't get past the annoying electric guitar. SO what Billy Joel is not about. Bad, just bad.

There are much better. The Springsteen cover band had a good lead singer, but the band was not tight. In addition the sax was being stepped on by a very loud bass player. The Billy Joel cover band had a much better band. The music was tight. Here the pitfall was a lead singer with a poor voice.

Tramps Like Us is perhaps the best Bruce Springsteen tribute band I've heard in recent years. And to hear them play at the legendary Stone Pony is like going back in time to the early 1970s when Springsteen himself performed there. This is my second time seeing this band, and this was even better than the first earlier this year. Part of it was the 40th anniversay tribute to The Born to Run album, but more importantly, the band played material that went beyond their usual top 40. Their rendition of Atlantic City was particurly tasteful, but more magical still, were the tunes they played from Springsteen's first two albums -- material that Springsteen himself might have played at this venue before making it to the top.

Tramps Like Us played a great 1st set of "Born to Run". Was a bit of a letdown after that. They took a 40 min break, then returned to play a lot of great Springsteen music, but heard no upbeat songs at all. The set list was putting us to sleep. Had to leave at 11:30 due to sitter issue, so maybe it picked up afterward. I can only hope!

"Tramps like us" did a great job. The singer was a little tense at the beginning but he was better song after song. His wing man is an incredible sax / guitar / keyboard player : a band by himself ! I loved the mighty drummer and the bass player was a cool guy too, sharing all he had with the first rows next to him. Even the pianist found his own way to interact with the public. Loved the Stone Pony crew too : they stayed cool despite the massive amount of people there. Watch out the lady at the goodies store, she tried to "forget" to give me back my change when I bought T-shirts!

This band is the absolute only band you need to see that pays tribute to the Boss. They have an insane and endless amount of energy, friendly as heck and I wish I could see them more often playing around the tristate area. You will NOT be disappointed, and about the venue- it is a landmark with cheap food and drinks, and even an old cigarette machine. I stronlgy recommend everyone to see this band.

This was a 25th anniversary show for Trammps Like Us. I am somewhat new to watching the band (about 6 or 7 years). What is cool at the Stone Pony is that there are true fans of Bruce's music and the talent of Trammps Like Us in performing it. It is about the music. If you like Bruce's music, thisese guys get it right every time. Thanks Trammps Like Us!

Very Good show, for the most part the crowd was very appreciative of the show, I couldn't believe over 700 of us were crammed into the Legendary Stone Pony. For me it was a rush of memories that was I able to share with my son. The older songs were amazing; Racing In The Streets, Thunder Road and Backstreets. I would highly recommend seeing this act to anyone who likes good old rock & roll.

JUST WOW!!! Tramps Like Us - the Band that has you up on your feet, dancing, cheering and begging for more at the end.... And that is exactly what they did at the show at The Space at Westbury. The lead singer is always a class act and interacts with the crowd, whether is to honor a request or answer a fun comment or cheer, allowing the fans to strum his guitar strings and coming down off the stage into the crowd, sometimes with his sax player. Their lead singer sang the first verse of "Racing in the Streets" from the crowd, my all time favorite song! Even came down into the crowd during "Rosalita", "Waiting on a Sunny Day", "Hungry Heart" and another song or two - THAT is some serious fan interaction - not many bands do that! Gotta love it!!!! The band was honoring SO many requests that night - even MINE! thanks Guys!! I was thrilled to hear "Trapped"!! They seem to appreciate the crowd response, the reaction of the crowd and the compliments and cheers!! The newest addition to the band is the drummer, OH MY GOD... could I just say...."OH MY GOD!" one more time!?!?! This guy brings such power to Tramps. The bass player and the drummer were totally locked in. The band was on fire! Every single one of these guys blew me away that night! In chatting with new fans near me, they were telling me how incredible the band was and how much they loved the band and the ENERGY .... As I was leaving, I saw some band members taking some pictures with them - that was very cool! The guys HAD to be exhausted from that show, still needing to break down and pack up and yet didn't miss the opportunity to chat with someone that took the time to come see them. This was a great night - as it is EVERY time. I encourage everyone that is a Bruce Fan to see this band - TRUST ME - you will not be disappointed and you WILL be hoooked!!!

My first time seeing this band. I won tickets through a radio station promotion. I am a big Springsteen fan and have seen a few other tribute bands in the past that I personally did not enjoy so I came in very skeptical, but I must admit that they won me over rather quickly. This band played for over three hours straight and played almost everything the audience was calling out for. The band members played an with energy and focus as if they were playing in front of 50,000 people. Great musicians and a great sound. They did not try to impersonate members of Springsteen's band which was refreshing to me. You could tell this band was not put together with good musicians looking for a gig, but rather with great musicians who enjoy and believe in the music they are performing. This is one tight tribute band! I highly recommend if you like Springsteen. Great job guys! Keep up the fantastic work!

If you enjoy Springsteen's music, go out of your way to see this band. I've seen other tribute bands and they are pretenders, compared to "Tramps Like Us".
