Leslie Gore still looks fantastic after 50 years in show business. She has a great personality and shared many musical stories from the past with her audience. She sang the oldies as well as newer ones - a nice mix.

Leslie Gore rekindled the passion and joy of 60s music on Friday night. The clarity of the voice is still there and the songs have not lost their power. I foound the musicrbrought back memories of the wonderful female songwriters of the 60s, Ellie Grenich and Carol King came to mind. There is a spirit and a passion to the sound, the audience cannot help but singalong. Leslie looks great, she sounds great, her band is excellent and it just made for a most enjoyable evening. There is something very magical about rock and roll, it energizes and excites us. I thought Leslie Gore put on a wonderful concert, I was very pleasantly surprised. I see 4 concerts a week and had never seen her live, I will see her again, it exceeded my ex[pectations.

Lesley was wonderful. She is a tremendous talent that is too often ignored or dismissed. Her ability to sing with counter harmonics is a rare gift. There are not many singers today (or in the sixties when she started her career) who possess her clarity of tone and rhythm. Lesley does not need to parade around the stage..she just has to open her mouth and this voice comes out that memorizes her audiance, Whitney Houston, Barbra Striesand and your current vocalists have nothing on Lesley. She is a c lass act with dignity and charm. Her singing comes from her heart, she is not some over rated DIVA Lesley has left her mark because she is talented, intelligent and respected. Few performers today can say the same.

I think that if you look at this show with the blinders of old, then you may be disappointed. However, all factors considered, she was as good as the extended time she has been in the business.

Ms. Gore put on a very good show, her voice was strong and young. A true pro.
