This metal festival concert did not disappoint! The concert started off with the band Newsted, formed by the former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted. This band just shredded all of the material they played! Jason was super intense, while Mike Mushok ( No mic Mike ) on guitar was in headbanger mode he reminded us of Cousin It because we could barely see his face! Newsted added Twisted Tail of the Comet to their set list it was a great addition! King of the Underdogs was a highlight with Jessie's intense ghoulish guitar riff. Next up was Hellyeah. The only thing we knew about Hellyeah before the show was that Vinnie Paul from Pantera was the drummer. Hellyeah had a very entertaining stage presence with Vinnie Paul showing his skills on the drum set and Chad Gray providing a charismatic lead. We were only able to see about half of Hellyeah s set because we had a ‘meet and greet with Newsted right in the middle of their set. That was a bit of a downfall you wouldn t think you d have to miss another artist to meet with the one you d paid for. But in the end, it was well worth it! All of the members of Newsted were great to their fans, ensuring that we had signed posters, other items, photo ops, etc. They even took time afterward to talk to us about what the fans mean to their group. They seemed really appreciative of the opportunities they have. Next up was Device. David Draiman (of Disturbed fame) is the lead singer, and of course his smooth voice and attention to enunciation highlighted their new material. To our surprise, there was no bassist in the band we hope that this is something they address as we think it would enhance the live viewing experience for fans, rather than pumping that part of the music in. The highlights were ‘Penance , ‘Vilify and ‘You Think You Know . A hilarious moment occurred at the beginning of their set, when a drunk fan, who was complaining the entire first two bands about how Hellyeah should have been the headliner, was physically and verbally disrespectful of Device. Not because they were bad, but because they came AFTER Hellyeah in the concert lineup. David Draiman very coolly walked to the back of the stage, picked up a cup of water and rifled it directly into the rude fan s face, while never missing a lyric or offending fans around him. He even had a few choice words for the idiot after the song was over. It s called RESPECT. Next up was Black Label Society. This band, headed by Zakk Wylde the former guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne had a HUGE following! And it was well deserved. Zakk s set-up on the mic was as cool as hell and he was constantly stepping out from behind it to show his prowess on one of many of his unique guitars. We had fun trying to capture them all digitally! His long guitar solo demanded and received absolute respect. Their set list was full of their best music, from ‘Destruction Overdrive' to 'Suicide Messiah to ‘Stillborn there were too many highlights to list them all. It had to be a highlight of one BLS roadie's night to take charge of the megaphone during 'Suicide Messiah'. And last, but certainly not least was Megadeth. They had a great stage and all the band members showed command of it. Dave Mustaine showed the fans why he s been so successful over the past 30 years with his skill on guitar and his eclectic personality. Some of the highlights of the set were ‘Symphony of Destruction , ‘Peace Sells and ‘Sweating Bullets . The best part had to be when Jason Newsted came out and sang ‘Phantom Lord a Metallica song, with Dave Mustaine & Megadeth. Dave Mustaine even mentioned that he hadn t performed "that other band s" music in almost 30 years. For Metallica lovers, to have two former Metallica band members (not at the same time) singing/playing a Metallica song on the same stage when they are both with different bands now was pretty awesome! And to know that the only reason they did it was because it was the last date of the Gigantour 2013 at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto Ontario was special.

Great concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom for Gigantour 2013 stop in NYC. The three bands who performed were Jason Newsted, Black Label Society (Zakk Wylde) and, of course, Megadeth. Great venue and rock hard performances by all. Zakk tour it up with his explosive set, and Megadeth was spot on, running through new material and many old favorites with smoking rifs and hard driving rhythm. Much moshing and crowd surfing throughout.
The Theater at Madison Square Garden - New York, NY - Sat, Jan 28, 2012
With this tour, if you are expecting a lot, you will be disappointed. Show was too short for the money, period. 6:30pm-Lacuna Coil got 20-25 minutes, max!!!! Good band, but didn't get anywhere near the time an opening band should get. 7:15-Volbeat got 40 minutes. Crowd loved this band, but again, not enought time. 8:00-Motorhead. Great time, but again, too short, off the stage at 8:50!!!! 9:15-Megadeth. Sound was terrible, couldn't hear Dave sing. Done by 10:30. MSG is a union place, so you know they are done at a certain time, but, they could have played at least till 11:30, or overall, given the opening bands at least 45 minutes each, Motorhead at the minimum 1:15, and then Megadeth should have played 1:45. It is great to see Motorhead and Megadeth, but if they are too old to give a show, that everyone is paying $120 a ticket on average, then they should stay home and retire.

this is just a review for the megadeth portion of the show, since that was our main reason for being there...from the 1st song in, the chants of "turn it up" (and some not so nice expletives, LOL) could be heard throughout the arena--we could barely make out the vocals for the first few songs, and it didn't get much better. the music sounded nice and clear though...

Missed Volbeat & Lacuna Coil. Motorhead's set was short. i think they played 7 songs if I counted correctly with a 10 minute drum solo. Megadeth - couldn't hear em!! if that is even believable. i could talk to my buddy 2 seats over. In fact, the crowd was chanting "we can't hear you" and "turn it up". Whenever Dave spoke, we did not hear it. Have seen both Megadeth and Motorhead numerous times since the 80's. highly disappointed

The set lists were good for all 4 bands. I thought the sound was decent for Lacuna Coil, Volbeat and Motorhead, but it was absolutely awful for Megadeth. When you're at a heavy metal concert and could talk to the person sitting next to you during the show in your normal voice, there is something wrong. I will never attend another event at the Theatre at Madiscon Square Garden.

I've been seeing Megadeth live for over 20 years, and this current lineup is the tightest the group has ever been. My wife is a Slayer fan, and usually makes fun of Megadeth. She walked out of the show saying "This is one of the best shows I've been to in the last 20 years." The setlist was great (Wake Up Dead was back!.....and the new songs sound like they belong on Peace Sells!) and Chris Broderick is a virtuoso on guitar. I can't wait 'til they swing back to NYC. Motorhead was also tight, energetic, and the drum solo rocked. A great night.

Had a good time with my friend, my son and his friends. All the bands were good, Lacuna Coil set was too short. The biggest problem was the audio mix for Motorhead and Megadeth. Motorhead music was good but the vocals were way too low. Lemmy heard the crowd chanting "louder" and he asked the audio guy to "bring my voals up 3 clicks", it sounded better. When Megadeth came on the whole mix was low. The crowd was constantly chanting "louder", and "Turn it Up", but to no avail. We could not hear anythin Dave Mustaine said. I think it was an issue with the Theater at MSG. Anything the Dolan"s touch turns to crap!

Did not see Lacuna Coil on this specific tour, but caught Volbeat after missing them the last time they came through my area. Nice punky flair, followed by buttkicking mainstay Motorhead and capping off the night with Megadeth! It was not only diverse, but a caffeine fix for your brain, complete with dueling guitars in Megadeth's performance.

Megadeth powered their way through the evening complete with dueling guitar passages and cool drum solos! A guitar lover's dream especially during those solos and dueling moments made them the perfect capper to a night preceded by Lacuna Coil, Volbeat and Motorhead. The combination of goth, punk, thrash and raw rock and roll music made for an electic night to satisfy one's ear candy cravings!

I have seen these groups in the past and loved them. The groups didn't put on the show that they usually do. I left almost deaf from Motorhead. The was no reason to play that loud. It ruined their show in my opinion. The other groups did an alright job but I was expecting to be awed and I just wasn't this time. Probably won't go see them again. This arenas seating was very uncomfortable. Seats were too small for most average persons.

Lacuna Coil opened with 5-6 new songs. They never fail to impress. Volbeat stole the show with their energetic style and I think they won more than a few new fans. Motorhead pounded out their classic set in typical Motorhead style and Megadeth ended the night with a strong run of their own. Overall this was a great lineup in a great venue and I would recommend this tour to any fan of hard rock and metal.

Gigantour came to Susquehanna Bank Center, Camden, New Jersey last week. Overall a really good show. The line up was Lacuna Coil from Italy, Volbeat from Denmark, Motorhead from the UK and Megadeth the headliners from USA. Lacuna Coil played for 30 minutes, Volbeat and Motorhead for about 45 min each and Megadeth for about an hour. Lacuna Coil was good. They are fairly under rated here in the states. Christina Scabbia is a good singer and leads the band well. Volbeat is a band that I knew the least material from but they put on a good show. The singer has a good voice and their songs are pretty good. I didn't know this before the event, but Mercyful Fate's guitar player is in that band. Motorhead came out and did a great set. I am definitely a fan of theirs. There was (in my opinion) some technical issues with the sound mix in their set. Lemmy's vocal mic was not loud enough in the mix. It was difficult to hear him at times. Mickey Dee's drum solo was really good as was Phil Campbell's playing. They should change some of their set list up. They have a tendency to play the same songs every tour. Megadeth were great but as with Motorhead, Dave Mustaine's vocals were not cutting through the mix. The sound engineer should have noticed this. Lacuna and Volbeat didn't have this problem. Megadeth played fan favorites as well as 3 or 4 songs from their new release THIRTE3N. I like to hear new songs from bands as long as they are good. And judging by the songs they played, it sounds like Megadeth's new record should be. Megadeth had a pretty good stage production. They had some digital effects that lit up behind them showing graphics from their album covers and the band's mascot Vic Rattlehead. Musically, Megadeth were tight despite their engineering problems. Chris Broderick is a great guitarist, Shawn Drover is solid and David Ellefson is right where he should be. It's nice to see him back in the band for a few years now. It's hard to imagine Megadeth without him. Also, it was nice to see the T shirt vendors offer some bigger shirt sizes. I got my Motorhead shirts at exactly the size I needed. Megadeth's shirts needed one bigger size unfortunately. For some reason, concert T shirts keep getting smaller and smaller these days so I always have to go up one size when I purchase. It was nice to have the option; more bands should add bigger sizes if they can't find a manufacturer that offers bigger cut shirts. Check this tour out. The ticket prices were fair (except for the convenience charges). Venue parking was more expensive than it should be. 25 dollars. I also got a 20 dollar rebate from a promotion company after I purchased. Metal Rulez!!!!

This was a really amazing show. Lacuna Coil was great, but they had a really short set. Only 4 songs. Not sure why. Then I saw a band I thought I had never heard of - Volbeat. Heavy metal/rock band that perform the song "The Warrior's Call", which is the song the Flyers come out to. Next up was Motorhead. Forget I know who the band waas until they performed "The Ace of Spades". Next came the great headliner, Megadeth. The set was incredible. Perfect theatrical lighting and gave a great show over all. The lead singer of Lacuna Coil even preformed a song with them. It's a song featured on Megadeth's new album.

I've never had the pleasure of seeing a Motorhead or Lacuna Coil show, but looking forward to it for sure. We did see Volbeat a couple months ago at The House of Blues and I was suprised at how good they sounded. I guess I didnt give them credit 'cause they were from Denmark or whatever. My bad!! The Gigantour show at the Hamerstein Ballroom in NYC was amazing. Newsted played a great set, followed by an amazing performance by BLS. And then Megadeth was superb. Newsted and Megadeth both interacted with the crowd and had a good time. Zakk Wylde had a guitar solo that seemed like it lasted 25 minutes. I fell asleep because it was so long. He needs to play within the confines of the band instead of "everybody look at me and how great I am. I'm Zakk Wylde." We already know he is great. I was disappointed that Decide and Hellyeah didn't perform but they were listed on the show. It would have been cool to see Newsted, Wylde, Mustaine, Draimen and Vinny Paul play a song together. The sound quality was horrible. It was hard to tell what song was being played. The singer's voice was turned down low and the bass so high that the woofers were vibrating over the music and voices.

The night started with Newsted, a new band fronted by Jason Newsted. They were good, if a little short. Next was Hellyeah and they were awesome, as you would expect from a mega-group. Device came, which was my favorite part. David Draiman can really bring it. Black Label Society was up next; Zakk Wylde can bring the guitar, that was apparent from the start of the set. They played all their classic songs and had the house rockin'. Megadeth finished our night off in grand style. They also played all their classic songs, along with a couple from Super Collider. Once we figured out where to go it was an awesome experience. We even got to meet all the other bands except megadeath. The first few bands sound wasnt very good but by black label they figured the sound out and megadeath sounded fantastic! Kudos to their sound guy. Oversll it was a great time. Well, its been awhile since I attended a metal/hard rock show. I'm too old to be in the "pit" but maybe I am wrong about that. I like all the bands that performed but none are my lifetime favorite. The place was more than half empty, which myself and my friends were shocked to see. I think everyone could have fit onto the main floor. Our seats were stage left near the corner one section up. The monitors hung right into the line of sight of the bands. We moved a couple of seats over just to be able to see the stage. The sound was loud (like it should be) but where we were sitting the vocals lacked a bit. Each band played a short set and moved on. Many Megadeth and Hellyeah tunes we wanted to hear we didn't. I thought each band was done before they even got started. This concert felt like a live "mix tape". Ok, I'll stop now. I understand that each band isn't going to play 2 hours but Megadeth has a large catalog of work to choose from. If there's a "next time" I'll stick it out and buy tickets down close. I have a lower back problem and standing on cement for 6 hours didn't seem like a thing I wanted to do. But to watch Dave Mustaine and Zakk Wylde play together on stage from 6 feet aaway I'll deal with the pain. That's my two cents.

David Draiman needs to know that if you do use a backing track bass aand your drummer can't keep time together the show has no bottom to the rhythm and never be rude to your audience

So Fun! Live. Metal. All. Day. The venue was oddly empty. Don't know why. The tickets are a fair price, and the bands totally rocked out. The main reason I went was to check out the new band NEWSTED. They were so good! But I must admit, Megadeth just gained a fan! woooo...loved it! BLS-always kicks A. Device...meh. Band was good, but I feel they should have a bass player, and the singer seemed pretty egotistical. He threatened some kid in the crowd, saying he was going to have him kicked out for flipping him off. LOL. really?

This concert was amazing to say the least, I can't even describe it. Every bands performance was top notch. I liked that Newsted played Metallica's Whiplash and tore it up. Device's David Draiman was great as always, what a great vocalist. Black Label Society took no breaks and blew me away, especially with Zakk's solo. And finally Megadeth ended with a huge bang, they were unforgettable as well.

The show was amazing but I was a little disappointed in the band security was trying to be certious to the people behind me by moving over to an empty section about 5 steps over while I was jamming and while device and black label society was playing the staff security got chewed out because they didn't want no one there they made me and two other people move back 3 seats until Megadeth came out and no one was bothering anyone. Other then that it was an amazing conert.... I have seen all of Megadeth's concerts in ut since 95 and up until this venue it has always been sold out... The only thing that could have made it better is if Hell Yeah would have done a pantera song in tribute to dimebag I sure miss not being able to hear their music live....

I was able to meet almost every member of the bands. Without paying for meet and greets. Death Division led as a powerful opener. Newsted powered up the crowd, HellYeah got the Pit going crazy. Device entranced the entire arena. Black Label Society gave everyone what they came for, and provided fans with memories. Then Megadeath closed the deal with a amazing closing performance. The venue provided the most excellent evening. Security made everyone feel safe.

Had a blast at Gigantour! Megadeth and Black Label Society were worth the ticket alone. Newsted, Hellyeah, and Device were great additions to a day of Metal! Got to meet Jim Florentine of That Metal Show and talk music. It was a great day of Metal music at a great price.

Gigantour 2013 was really good. I arrived about halfway into Newsted's set, and was pretty impressed. One thing that struck me about this concert was that the opening acts had VERY good sound quality--in many concerts, the opening acts sound awful. Not the case with Gigantour. Every band sounded crisp and clean. The one thing that surprised me was the low attendance. The pit area was pretty packed, but the rest of the arena felt empty. The upper deck was closed off and most of the actual seats were empty.

Lacuna Coil, Volbeat, and Megadeth put on awesome shows however, a few fans pissed Dave Mustaine off during the show by being belligerent. Great set-lists and an awesome tour. I am defiantly going to see Lacuna Coil, and Volbeat again. Second time seeing Megadeth and they were better than the first time I seen them at Mayhem Fest.

What can I say, they are by far my favorite band for a reason, and 2/28/2012 they proved it. Their stage presence is powerful, Cristina Scabbia has one hell of an awesome voice as does Andrea. I was so Excited to hear that they will be returning to North America and hopefully Denver for a headliner. I had never heard Volbeat's music before, but after what I heard, I'm a fan now.. Those guys and play.

I've been a huge Megadeth fan for at least twenty years, so getting a chance to see them live I most certainly had to go to this one, since I missed the last show. I didn't really care for the other acts, but they provided ample entertainment, while I waited for Megadeth to hit the stage. My only gripe is having to stand and watch, constantly having to crane my neck trying to see the stage, all the while having to get interupted by those trying to get closer to the stage, or constantly blocking my view. It wasn't the standing that botherd me its the non stop having to move in order to get a decent view, only to have it blocked by people taller than myself.

Walked in as Volbeat was playing and caught most of their set. They had a some decent tunes but I was checking Volbeat our more b/c of Hank Shermann from Mercyful Fate on guitar. Motorhead played a good set that got the crowds energy up towards the last few songs. Mikkey Dee completely rocks on drums. Lemmy's voice sounded a bit strained a times but he's always got some gravel in there. Megadeth stole the show and played super tight as always. I don't know much about their current drummer and lead guitar player but no complaints about how they played. Dave Mustaine was the star that night who did not disappoint his audience. Most all the classics were played and I liked the newer songs that were lumped together in the middle of their set. No songs off the first album, unfortunately. Cristina Scabbia came on stage to play Tout le Monde which got a better reception from the crowd than I anticipated. Dave's guitar playing was excellent and his vocals pretty good too that nite. He only played various Dean guitars, no other makes. Caught a couple snapshots on my phone when I was up really close for a few songs. If you are a fan of metal/thrash and haven't seen these bands in a while the Gigantour is a must.

Volbeat was outstanding as usual and I think they set the tone for the entire show. Volbeat's sound was fantastic and they really got the crowd pumped up. Lacuna Coil opened and they were good to get the crowd warmed up. Motorhead just kicked butt. Then Megadeth came on stage and the whole place went to sleep. No one was hardly even standing. Their sound was the worst, couldn't hear Dave's vocals at all and the music was washed out. If I was Dave Mustaine I would fire the sound man, he killed their set. But - It was worth the price of admission to hear Volbeat and Motorhead. If you're a Megadeth fan don't waste your money cause you will be disappointed but if you want to hear a new band that is on the rise and will be a major headliner very soon GO SEE VOLBEAT!

If you were an eleven-year-old boy and this was your first concert ever, then the only word that would describe the Gigantour show at Madison Square Theatre would be awesome. On the other hand, if you happened to be a forty-something metal-head who was still queuing for a $10 can of Dutch beer as Lemmy came on stage at 7:58 p.m. and growled his customary We re Motorhead, we play rock and roll , then awesome is not the word that springs to mind. Ever since Sharon Osbourne came up with the idea of milking her husband s name even further with a travelling festival , these events have become very popular. Take four bands - two possible headliners, two that will only ever play the second stage at any metal festival and send them out on the road together. Give it a brand, print the t-shirts and start it at a ridiculously early hour, so that you bring in the kids that can t drink and annoy the adults that can. Gigantour is Dave Mustaine s affordable travelling metal show and the gig on Saturday night was sold out, not surprising when you have Dave s Megadeth and Motorhead on the same bill. The fact that both Mustaine and Lemmy are still around in 2012 to rock their socks off shows an endurance level far beyond any D-List celebrity who think that they party hard, these boys have been hitting the road long before rehab became fashionable. Italian metal band Lacuna Coil opened the show at 6:30 p.m. and, according to the concert rookie behind me, were amazing for the twenty minutes that they were on stage. I also missed the first ten minutes of Volbeat as I didn t get to the venue until 7:15 but what I did see was uninspiring. The Volbeat fans in the crowd warmly applauded a bizarre cover of Dusty Springfield s I Only Want To Be With You but when a band finishes by playing the opening riff to Raining Blood and that is the best thing they do, then their inclusion on this tour will remain a mystery to this writer. No such worries with Motorhead. Lemmy has been gigging since he was in short trousers and although the levels seemed to be set to a volume more suited to an acoustic gig, Mr. Kilmister was in his usual fine form. Watching Motorhead perform live is something that every music fan should experience and they rattled through a cocktail of tracks that dipped into their extensive back catalogue. Start with Bomber and Damage Case, add Going To Brazil, Killed By Death and Ace of Spades, throw in The One To Sing The Blues (including the customary Mikkey Dee drum solo), Over The Top, Metropolis and I Know How To Die and finish it off with a splash of Overkill. Forty minutes of rock and roll, powered by Lemmy, driven by Phil Campbell and suddenly you have the perfect stage for another legend. Dave Mustaine is another man who has been there and bought the t-shirt. Megadeth have been his baby ever since he was booted out of another quite famous metal band and he has continued to produce consistently good music ever since. The last time that I saw him was on stage at Yankee Stadium when the Big Four kissed and made up, which was also just after he had undergone major surgery. He was moving slightly sweeter on Saturday night but you come to see his guitar work rather than what shapes he can throw. Like Motorhead, this was primarily a greatest hits package. Megadeth opened with Trust and Wake Up Dead, flew into Hanger 18, sweated bullets and got Angry Again. They also have a new LP out and the three tracks they showcased (Public Enemy #1, Whose Life Is It Anyways, Guns, Drugs and Money) were good but it was the appearance of Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil) during A Tout Le Monde that drew the biggest cheers. Heading into the home straight, Mustaine pulled out Symphony of Destruction and Peace Sells, showing his softer side by bringing out his daughter Electra to serenade her with a metal version of Happy Birthday. With the crowd baying for more, the final assault of Holy Wars was a fitting end to the evening and although my ears had escaped serious aural punishment, it is always a pleasure to see Megadeth on the top of their game, especially with the return of Dave Ellefson to the ‘deth. If I was an eleven-year-old boy, I would have been very happy.

All 4 bands put on a good show. Opening bands were good. My main reason for going was to see Lemmy and Motorhead. and I'm glad I went. They put on an awesome show. They are 3 hard working dudes. Lucuna Coil was great. Very under-rated band on the rising. Motorhead was loud as usual. They could've played a couple more songs and that would've been just right. Megadeth was amazing! It must be hard from them to choose a playlist because they have so much great music. My first time seeing Megadeth since 1993, so I was thrilled to go, had great seats and enjoyed being there.

Sadly, because of a family emergency, I arrived at the show too late to catch any of the acts besides Black Label Society and Megadeth... but it was still worth the trip. Black Label Society played a great set, including "Forever Down" and "Suicide Messiah". I'm not super-familiar with their music, but I've seen them live a few times now (Ozzfests in the past) and they always shred. Megadeth has been trucking along for almost 30 years, and while the rest of the band has been kind of a revolving door, lead singer and guitarist Dave Mustaine hasn't missed a beat. The band ripped through songs new and old, not spending a whole lot of time talking. This is probably my fourth or fifth time seeing Megadeth, and they just never get old. Can't wait for next year's Gigantour!

The opening band, Newsted, had an ok performance of their own songs, which set the mood for the night. When they covered 'Whiplash' everyone went nuts! BLS wasn't anything special, some good old metal. I couldn't understand a single lyric, though. Megadeth's set was the best part of the show, culminating in a thrilling rendition of 'Holy Wars' which was a fitting end to a fantastic show.

Every band put on a great show. I mainly went to see Megadeth but there was never a dull moment within each band. This was my first big concert since I had VIP tickets to Ozzfest 08 and it was pretty sweet. Although there were significantly less people at this concert it still rocked. I had never seen BLS but I had seen Zakk Wylde when he was with Ozzy at Ozzfest and I had seen Hellyeah there as well. I had meet and greet with BLS and they were down to earth cool dudes and signed my guitar! All the bands brought it! I didn't see Death Division since I was meeting BLS but I could hear them a little bit. Newsted rocked and they ended their set with Whiplash! Hellyeah was third and they were better than ever! Vinnie Paul and those 24"x24" double bass it's just not fair! No other drummer I know of can compete with how deep those sound as most drummers use smaller bass drums. Chad Gray brought the energy and they played 3 songs from their latest album! Device was great as well and they signed autographs/took pics between BLS and Megadeths sets. BLS was amazing Zakk Wylde is one of the best. I've never been a fan of Megadeth but I paid good money and wanted to watch a few songs. For the most part they sounded good although I do remember when I was sending pics from the meet and greet I heard harsh screeching guitar sounds that didn't sit well with me and looked up and it was Mustaine playing a solo. I'm familiar with Chris Broderick for his work with Jag Panzer and Nevermore and feel he's an amazing musician and I know people will not like me saying this but I could tell the difference in quality of solos between the two (although I'm no musician etc). My metal loving cousins (one is a guitar playing music major) wanted to leave before Megadeth went on since they don't like them and so we ended up leaving after about their 3rd song and noticed a good amount of other people leaving as well. They gave me crap the rest of the night for making them stay to watch Megadeth. I told them that now instead of just hating on them they could legitimately say they had seen them live and give their already biased opinions. I wanted to stay for Symphony of Destruction as that's the song I'm most familiar with. Once again I've just never gotten into their music but have considered buying the greatest hits and giving them a shot as I did enjoy when they played Hangar 18 and remembered that from rock band. Overall a great experience and worth the long drive!!!
