Had a great time at both the Alumni and NHL game. I think the Alumni game was better though, just to see all the old timers out there one last time. Truly an unforgettable experience

This was a great event for the city of Denver and the Avs organization. However it was a very poor fan experience. The NHL should not have sold tickets below the 20th row. It was just about impossible to follow the action on the ice from down low, except by watching it on the JumboTron. Could have stayed home and watched on TV! People who sat high, could see the ice, but from very far away. The exorbitant price for this fan experience was simply not justifiable!

While the atmosphere of the game was exciting it was offset by the terrible view of the ice. IF they are going to charge these exorbitant prices for the tickets they need to set up the rink so the fans can actually see the play on the ice.

Great venue, event, and idea. Fun Atmosphere and great hockey. Concert was a good idea as well and added to the atmosphere. Rethinking seating pricing may have been a better idea. In retrospect, I would have selected third level seats at half the price.

Anytime you can go to an outdoor game hockey game, go! The NHL does a great job of putting on a great show for the fans.

The event was nice since it was the first of its kind in Colorado-but I would not pay that price to go again. too much, too busy, too many people, everything was pricey, and hard to see the game. good thing we had nice weather or it would have been NO fun.

Game was great. Atmosphere was amazing. Sound system SUCKED! Would have had more viewable seats if the game would have been at mile high. No real way to watch the game from our seats unless we turned around to watch the big screen

The game was overpriced. The rink was so far away that you could not get a feel for the game. The fake snow was embarassing. I would not ever recomend this type of game to anyone.

It was a great game, with a great atmosphere. The music was just decent, but the synchronized lights in the outfield seats were pretty cool. And the Red Wings won, which made a great game even better!

The NFL knows how to throw a party. Great game, great seats and best of all one of the best baseball stadiums in MLB. My seats were 3rd level behind home plate which was a perfect spot. Rink was set up between 1st base and 3rd base.

It was fantastic!! From the spectator pregame festivities, through all the entertainment, right up to the end. So well organized, everyone was professional, the field was beautiful, I loved the illusion of snow!, it was easy to get in and out. There were no unruly spectators to ruin the event. It's hard to get my grown sons and I in the same place for any length of time, but we soent the entire afternoon and evening together, never stopped laughing and cheering. We will never forget the Winter Game, hope to do it again. We love our Avs, win or lose! Even named our dog Hejduk

This was on our bucket list for my husband and I. As a transplant from MI I have wanted to see the Red wings play the Avs for awhile. To have that happen and be a Stadium Game was surreal. The production and optics of the Alumni game and the game on Saturday were outstanding. I liked the Coors light fan zone and the safety and security at and around the event. It was a well played game with a bunch of great fans and lovers of Hockey. I can't wait until it happens again in Colorado. The only downside was the price on the merchandise in the store and seeing they had marked items up and were not giving the 10% military discount. This was disappointing especially with the patriotic theme and events at the Alumni game and the Saturday game.

What an amazing spectacle this was! My 2 sons and I flew up from Houston TX and met my Dad and Brother who had flown all the way from Scotland. This event was the best sporting event i have EVER been to, from the fan fest to the Alumni to the main event! Also thought the light up wrist bands were cool. Can't wait for our next Outdoor game!

Had a great time at both the Alumni and regular season games. I love baseball just as much as I love hockey, so to see hockey outside on a baseball field was pretty awesome. Despite the ice melting a little too much, and the wind blowing the fake snow around, you couldn't ask for a better night for some outdoor hockey. It was the perfect way to celebrate 20 years of the Colorado Avalanche and to do it against our biggest rival in franchise history was the cherry on top. The only thing that brought the weekend down? The fact that we lost the game on Saturday night.

I am a true Roy fan and have always missed seeing him in the net. This was a dream come true to see him play, and it lived up to what I wanted. On top of this, the evening was amazing. I loved the history, the comrades assembling and laughing together. The venue was perfect along with the weather and the fireworks. The only thing I would change, is that I would have been able to meet Roy, but that would have been asking for a bit much. We had great seats and were able to see so much. I hope we are able to have another outdoor game in the future. I would definitely make an effort to be there.

Game was fun, the concerts were solid. Would've been nice if I'd gotten the Commemorative tickets! This was the fifth outdoor game I went to and it was clearly the warmest one I'd been to. Props to the ice crew for not having the glass fog up. The only thing that would've made this better was if I had received the ACTUAL COMMEMORATIVE TICKETS!

The entire Stadium Series weekend was very well-organized and enjoyable. Coors Field looked beautiful and the Spectator Plaza had a lot of activities to do such that we had to go both afternoons to do it all! The alumni game was just a blast, it was an honor to see the old greats play again. The regular season game was also awesome. Loved the band's, fireworks and hero tribute. The fake snow blowing around made it even more fun and I was dying laughing. So worth the ticket price!

Living apart from your children is always hard. When you can get together for a weekend and enjoy your favorite sport at the same time is always a treat. We had a great time enjoying each other and the fan experience put on by the NHL and Denver. We enjoyed meeting fans from all over for both teams. The comradery in the stands was great.

the game itself was great. however, the staff at the concessions wasn't trained, as they didn't know how to run credit cards, they didn't know how to count money back to us, and was constantly messing up the amount we was suppose to get. The equipment was in disarray, cash registered didn't work half the time. It was disappointing to stand in line, with 2 people in front of you, get to the front, miss 1/2 of a period, and the register breaks.... Whoever thought of putting cotton down not he field to look as snow, sure didn't think about that to hard. We do live in Colorado, the Wind blows, and it blows hard. I am sure the players was frustrated as this was blowing into their faces why trying to play a game. Poor planning!

The NHL rolled out a tight product on Saturday for the Stadium Series game, but the really fun stuff happened Friday, when the Avs Alumni beat the Red Wing Alumni. Coors field did a fairly good job in working with the NHL and the Avs to host the events.

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see an NHL game outdoors. Everything was incredibly well done- from the activities outside to the field layout and the entertainment. Really special to see Roy, Sakic and Forsberg back on the ice together playing one last time. The regular game was also great but wish the final score was better. Both nights seemed like a combination of a festival and a playoff event. Really fun. Highly recommend to any hockey fan.

Until you experience an outdoor hockey game, it is hard to explain the atmosphere. The Colorado Avalanche and Detroit Red Wings, along with their avid fans, put on a great spectacle in a great sport. The energy level from the outdoor fan experience to the stadium and game, the whole weekend exceeded my expectations.

People were complaining about the cost of the tickets, and they were not cheap. HOWEVER, this wasn't just a hockey game. This was a weekend event, with memories that will last a lifetime! We had tickets in the 3rd level, but they were great seats! Could see the puck and follow the play easily. Only problem was you couldn't see when a goal was scored at the far end of the ice...but the players reaction told you that, so minor issue. The events before the games started the excitement, and the atmosphere inside the stadium continued to raise the buzz. So glad that we took this once in a lifetime opportunity. The fake snow tearing up from the field from the wind was pretty hilarious, and only added to the memories. I wasn't there for the pre and during game entertainers, but I thought it was great that the NHL got the local boys from The Fray to play at this game.

The introductions and the games were very well done, once you got there, but the ticket sales were confusing and no mention was made of pre-tickets for parking at the time of original sale. I had a physically handicapped person with me and we had to walk all over the place to find a ticket exchange and elevators.

Such a fabulous experience - for the players, for the fans & for the crew! Seems like Mothah Nature was a bit upset concerning the fake snow, though. She made her feelings known with the wind to help create the ground blizzard on Saturday night. I'm still on a hawkey high!

Great event, Great Weekend! While the price for the two events was a bit high, the NHL totally made me feel like I got my moneys worth and then some. I have never seen "hockey" take over a city for a non playoff event and this far superseded any expectation I had going in. It was so well done I would have no issues traveling in the future to attend one of these events.

As an Avalanche season ticket holder, I had really high hopes for these games and they did not disappoint. Sure it would have been nice to see the Avs win the game that counted, but it was still one of the best games I've ever attended. Kudos to the NHL and the Avalanche organization for making it a memorable occasion. Security was a breeze - way easier than standard games at the Pepsi Center. The atmosphere was electric at the Alumni game and it was a real treasure to see the hockey greats back on the ice again. Thanks to everyone who helped make this a great possibly once in a lifetime event!! And GO AVS!!!

This was my first trip to Denver. I stayed right downtown (at The Curtis hotel) and walked around quite a bit. There were a lot of Red Wing fans in town and all the Denverites were very nice. The Alumni game was terrific and so was the regular season game the next night. The 70 degree weather didn't hurt either.
