American Authors

Originally went to see Sister Hazel and they were perfect. Stuck around for American Authors and they put on a great show too! Wasn't familiar but I enjoyed the whole event!

This show was incredible. The energy was great, and it stayed that way the enitire show! If you have a chance to see them live, TAKE IT!!

An absolute phenomenal performance from this up and coming band. They already have the skills to work the crowd and incorporated it well into the show. Pflayed the hits and did a good job with a couple of covers. Definitely a must see as the band progresses....

Oh Honey, The Mowglis, and American Authors were excellent. Each act stronger than the previous one. American Authors were just flat out rockin' and I loved every minute of it.

The venue was amazing. We felt really close to the band. I think they sounded better in concert than recorded. This bands music is upbeat and positive and I love the lyrics to their songs!

The venue was fantastic and the music was out of this world. I was supremely impressed. I can't wait for them to come back to Atlanta!

I was surprised how many tickets were still available on the day of the show, considering how much radio airplay Best Day of my Life has gotten. But it did make getting standing room space close to the stage much easier. Anyways, the show was incredible. We were standing second row behind barrier, so our view was great. The whole band interacted with the crowd throughout the show and encouraged audience participation. The lead singer (Zac) jumped down into the space between stage and barrier to be closer to the audience numerous times. They played all of their hits and did two great covers as well. Their music is perfect for live performances and they have great on-stage energy. The only bad part of the show was how many very young teenaged girls were in the crowd (average age 13-14), which I thought was odd for a part-rock/part-folk show. They have terrible concert crowd etiquette. But that isn't a reflection on the artists because obviously they have little control over that. Also, we weren't able to stay afterwards, but from what I heard both of the opening acts as well as American Authors met up with fans outside for pictures/autographs.

I had a blast at this show! The venue was the perfect size, the band was super nice and interactive, and I they really put on a quality show. They are one of the most underrated bands out there right now, I love American Authors!

American Authors were awesome! They had so much energy on stage. I cannot wait until they come back to see them again!

All 3 bands were incredible and fun to watch. American Authors made my 11 year old daughter's night. She got to be right next to the stage and touch his hand, she smiled for days!

Echosmith puts on a great show for teenagers that is for dang sure. The Mowglis rock every time I see them. They are nothing but happy and will have you extremely excited and ready to roll for the headliner American Authors. And them, wow. They put on one hell of a show. Im saying it now that they will be bigger than Maroon 5! Absolutely great show

American authors have a great performance, they love what they do and it shows, house off blues is a perfect venue. All sets were good and you get a great evening. Also a great surprise was how good a band and performance Ecosmith was, that alone was worth the price of admission. Will do again.

One night I'll never forget! They interacted with the crowd and their energy made it that much better! Every second was unforgettable! Totally going again!!

The American Authors were amazing & I love The NorVa!

Venue was great-American Authors was amazing! They bring great energy to the stage, have positive music, and engage the crowd well. Would see them over and over! Also awesome that they took time after the show to take pictures with fans. Would have liked for that to have been less rushed, but understand their need to get on the road. Give the show a 15 on a scale 1-10! Have become a huge fan and would love to see them come back!

They were awesome, very entertaining. They are the real deal and will make it big! The sound was a little off, but that was a venue issue rather than a band issue. Awesome, awesome! Wild Cub....just ok.

This was my first AmericanAuthors concert, and I decided to bring a friend with me. Oh Honey and the Mowglis were awesome... It was my first time hearing their music. Energy was off the charts. The only downside to the concert was when I felt like I was surrounded by teenage girls... And I mostly was. Unforgettable performance by American Authors.

Oh Honey, The Mowgli's, and American Authors were absolutely PHENOMENAL! All three artists have such upbeat messages that promotes hope in such a hopeless world. I needed that more than anything! PLUS, what an AMAZING opportunity to MEET them after the show!!!! American Authors even had a meet and greet, where they took our picture with them FOR US and posted it on Facebook! I also loved the #bestdayofyourlife photo-booth opportunity, where they showed our photos behind the band when they were performing. It added a very personal element to the event. I've been to a lot of shows, but this one really went above and beyond! Way to go Honda Civic Tour!!! <3

The American Authors concert was such a different experience. It was in the Buckhead Theater which was a nice quaint theater. American Authors was so engaged with the audience. They interacted with them as much as they could. At the end of the concert, you got the chance to meet them. I thought this was really cool that anyone at the concert got to meet them and not just people that paid extra to get a vip pass to meet them.

This is hands down the best concert I have ever been too. They interact with the crowd and keep the energy alive the entire show!! Afterwards, there was even a meet and greet so we could talk to the band and get pictures. I could not have asked for anything more. Simply the best!!!

My sister and I drove 14 hours round trip in one day to see this concert. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I've attended a lot of concerts, and this was the best I've ever been to. While we were waiting in line before the show, James, Dave, Matt, and Zac walked by. They took the time to chat with us and take pictures. James even waved at us specifically during the concert. The artists themselves are truly genuine and believe what they sing. They added amazing solo parts to their songs that you don't get listening to their album otherwise. When they played Best Day of My Life...the energy level at the concert exploded. The crowd was 100% into it. The band stayed late after the show and took pictures with fans too! High energy, sensational music, great crowd interaction - I can't say enough good things. I highly recommend American Authors. Don't pass up the chance to go!!! Warning: you will suffer form post-concert depression after attending one of their shows. ;)

We had an amazing time at The American Authors concert! They are always so energetic and fun to watch. They love audience participation. They are all awesome guys and are so nice. They seem to love Cincinnati and I hope that they will always come here on their torus no matter how big they get. I am a lifelong fan after seeing them at the Q-102 Bosom Ball 2013 and will see them everytime they come to town. I was also excited because I was by the stage exit and got a high five from all of the band members. I hope that they continue to play small venues in cincinnati for the pure fact that it's a more intimate experience with them and we have the chance to be up close by the stage. I highly recommend that anyone go see them. They are up and coming and have a long career ahead. All of their songs are great!

Amazing show. I love being up close and personal with the band. They even came out after the show and met their fans! Can't wait to see them again.

Well not real happy with the sister Hazel Concert because they were made to perform @ 7:30 an hour prior to the time printed on the tickets. Did not go to see American Authors.

American authors is an amazing alternative rock band who did an amazing show at the hollow they sang their hits and many of their other songs also some cover songs including their title track of thier first album Oh What A Life

There was a smile on my face from the moment the band walked on stage until about an hour after the concert. American Authors create music that you can't get out of your head but not in a bad way. This concert was full of energy, I couldn't stop dancing or singing or screaming or smiling. Best [night] of my life!!!

American Authors was fantastic! Lots of energy and it was I love how they interacted. The opening act, Ryan Star, was amazing too, even without a band. The crowd wasn't the best, talking through the opener and being rude, and the venue was pretty small and crowded, but I don't have a bad word to say for the bands!

Best concert I've been to in years! The atmosphere was great, the sentimental touch to playing where they started years ago, the sound, and just the group's energy! Great start to their new album!

I had gone to this show not knowing what to expect. it was a tiny arena, but they made the best work of it. very crowd-friendly, and a ton of interaction. it was overall very fun:)

I have a twelve year old fan in the house and this absolutely made her night! She loved their first song last year when it came on the radio and has been listening to their album ever since. She was super excited at seeing them here at DuQuoin State Fair. Guys rock, loved the songs they picked to sing and enjoyed the up close seats and we sang along to EVERY song! I would definitely see these guys again!!

It was an amazing show on a not so crowded Tuesday night! American Authors played some songs off their upcoming album (swoon!)! It was a little less intimate than I would like in a show, but we were at a state fair and it is hard to engage everyone sitting on bleachers in a grand stand. But if you are debating whether or not you should see these guys, let me tell you that this is my 4th show of theirs and it is absolutely incredible.

They got the crowd involved the right amount. They were so good and knew how to put on a show. I plan on going to see them again and again.

American Authors did not disappoint!! They had great stage presence & very contagious energy!! They also played songs from their The Blue Pages days, which completely made my night :)

It was such an awesome concert!! I always love them when they perform. I didn't think they could get better, but they did. I had even MORE fun this time! The venue was nice, but it was freezing up in there!

The band was so welcoming, fun and upbeat! I didnt realize how amazing their voices where!! They sand 2 acapella songs that blew the crowd away!!!!

This concert was incredible! Oh Honey was a great opening act. I wasn't too thrilled with The Mowgli's which I was surprised about. But American Authors were so talented and had such an amazing stage presence. I want to see this concert again.

We saw American Authors open for One Republic at a big venue over the summer and they were great there. At a small venue they were even better and was actually amazed that they even played at a venue like the Deluxe at Old National Centre. Venue is very intimate and suited for small bands. i don't think American Authors will be playing at anything but huge venues in a few years from now. We would go to American Authors no matter where they were playing.

I pretty much was front row and general admission. American authors was awesome and it really was the best night. It was worth the 2 hour drive there and back. They interacted with the audience. And the openings were great too! I do dint expect that!!

I loved the show, and I liked the atmosphere of it all. Just don't buy a parking pass.

American Authors are good and worth the price of admission, but Katie Earl and The Mowglis are the real deal!!
