Absolutely the best show I have seen to date!!! I am now a Super Fan, he is beyond talented and brings a breath of fresh air to music. I only by chance saw a post on Facebook about him and wish he was promoted more by the Vendor. More people should be aware of this talented man!! I will absolutely be buying tickets to his next concert, either here in Toronto or in Germany! I had a smile for days from watching him play

The concert was the best of my life. The theater was small, the acoustics were terrific, and the band was flawless. David Garrett is truly a genius. When I watch him perform on you tubes with major orchestras, I feel honored to have seen him perform in person. The variety of songs was great, his humor between songs is corny but endearing. I saw him two years ago and this time was even better. I was so sad to see the performance end!

It was the perfect concert for my daughter, who is a singer, and I to attend together. We both loved it. Everything was wonderful. He is a master of his art.

David Garret is a cross between Rock Star and classical violinist. He is also incredibly HOT!! The program is about 1/2 classical, Vivaldi's piece being my favorite, and 1/2 rock. He played music by ACDC, Jimi Hendrix, and Queen to name a few. My favorite rock piece is his version of Smooth Criminal. Just to mix things up even more, he threw in a little jazz with a cool version of Summertime. I can't say enough about this super talented hunk. He is a native of Germany and is much better known in Europe. I'm so glad that he came to KC and I hope he comes back.

If this show was advertised more than just on PBS, it would have sold out. They guy is musically unbelievable and passionate about his work. I would much rather spend my money going to see this guy perform than spend $75 to sit in the upper deck of the Sprint Arena. One of the best shows and performances of my life.

David Garrett and his band of extremely talented musicians put on an amazing show! You can tell they truly love what they do!! David covers all genres of music from classical to hard rock. Who knew you could play Metallica on a violin?! We liked the way David introduced each piece and told personal stories during the show. My teenage daughter (a violinist herself) was given a meet and greet pass by a staff member. She says David is just as genuine and personable face-to-face as he is onstage. David definitely has two lifelong fans!

David gives you your moneys worth! For just $25 we had a full 2 hours of entertainment. Beautiful music and charming. The only down point woud be that the lighting throughout the show would sometimes be too bright and blinding to the audience.

A gifted violinist that would appeal to everyone. His play set is varied and lively and would appeal to people who would not traditionally be attracted to a violinist, including me. A great show! His band is also great.

He's not just a pretty face. What an awesome Violinist and composer. He's a funny story teller too. I really enjoyed how he engaged with the audience in between each song telling us personal stories about his life. I wanted to close my eyes to take in the music, but, realized after about 2 seconds, that if I did that....I would miss seeing his beautiful face. No way was that happening! My eyes were wide open the entire concert! You know it had to be a great evening when a 75+/- woman in front of me with solid gray hair was head banging during a Metallica tune. Fantastic evening. Hope he comes back to Atlanta again soon. Salute!

What can I say. Amazing music, amazing band. David Garrett is thoroughly enjoyable for all ages. I took my 16-yr old daughter, it was her first concert ever. She loved it as much as I did. Great music, great atmosphere. David is charming and has a great sense of humor. Involves the crowd. GO SEE IT!

Everything about this show was amazing! From the theater to the performance, to everything. My husband and I, and my parents had such an amazing night that we're planning to see David Garett every time he tours the states... Or maybe even go and see him in Europe some day! I cannot put into words what a magical and entrancing experience that was. The entire audience applauded for an Encore- which David Garrett and his band graciously honored. Just wonderful!

This was truly an amazing experience. David is a magnificent violinist who held his audience captive the entire time. His arrangements were extensive; from rock to classical and he just kept going from one tune to another. He was very engaging with the audience as well. It didn't hurt that he is HOT and so very easy on the eyes!!!! The orchestra was also superb!!!!

Another excellent performance by David Garrett. He continues to be very engaging while on stage as he interacts a lot with the audience. He is a very talented musician. His very capable backup band consisted of two guitars, a bass guitar, keyboard and drums. He introduces nearly every song by name and adds some stories along the way, usually humorous. The concert lasted approx. 2 hours with a mix of classical, popular and rock music. Another superb performance by a very talented musician. Very entertaining and very highly recommended.

David Garrett is fantastic! This was the first concert I was able to attend and it was great. Everyone should go and see this man. The skill he posses on the violin is unbelievable and how he slips between rock n' roll and classical is unique. The stories he tells between songs makes the concert fun and personal.

I think every seat has a great view - we were in the balcony and ended up moving even farther back to some empty seats. It is a close and personal theater.

David Garrett was absolutely OUTSTANDING-AWESOME...David is a World Class Performer/Entertainer. David performs for all ages; I am 69, my daughter 45 and my Granddaughter is 16 and we all were entranced and amazed by every stroke of David's bow. My first David Garrett concert and I will never forget it. He was amazing! I loved his entire performance!! I loved his entrance to the stage as he entered from the main floor entrance playing the music on his violin with the spotlight on him walking up to the stage where he joined his band! This is the second time I have seen David at this theater and he is WONDERFUL!! So alive and passionate with his music. He makes your heart sing! His entrance is SO EXCITING and he is so close to everyone in the audience. I also loved the stories he told from time to time...especially the one about the conductor. There is NO ONE like David Garrett. he is definitely NOT your boring concert violinist!!! I took a friend that had never heard of him and she was in AWE!!! it was her birthday.

This show was awesome. It was simply put together-No frills or over the top light shows or pyrotechnics. Just him with his ensemble making it up with some crazy talent. He is the world's fastest violin player you know. I'm blessed to have been able to see this. My only regret is that I wasn't able to get his attention somehow as I was dressed to the nines for his concert. A silly fangirl dream I know, but it was worth a shot.

I discovered him about a year ago and have been looking for a concert in my area. He was performing @ The Beacon Theatre in NYC on Sat. & was lucky enough to get a front row, center seat! Loved him on TV, but live and up close, I was mesmerized! He played everything from Vivaldi to Nirvana. He did an acapello duet of Clair Du Lune that took my breath away. On the opposite end of the musical spectrum, his finale was Queen's "We Will Rock You". His rendition of Beethoven's "The 5th" (as he calls it) is mind blowing! During one piece, I swear the strings got so hot he broke one! The audience was a mix of young kids to seniors... his appeal is universal. If he comes to your town, go see him! The tickets were reasonable and we got 2 hours of incredible music! Went right out and bought 2 of his DVD's so I could relive this night!

When I saw him on PBS, I was so excited to hear he was going to be in Jacksonville, Fl. I took my mother, niece and of course, my self. We hated to leave because he and his band were awesome. I bought his CD and have played it everyday since the concert. His flow of notes and the electricity he displayed was so unique and unbelievable. PBS was good, but he and his band put the television concert to shame, the accousitics were fantastic in the Florida Theater.

This was my second time seeing David perform live in Chicago. The first time was last year at the intimate Park West venue. Even in a bigger venue (which was sold out) the show still held the feeling of an intimate occasion. David was charming and gracious to his audience and played a little bit of something for everyone. I took a good friend with me who had never seen him before and now she is in love with the man and his music as much as I am. I will continue to go to his live shows and share his music with anyone who will listen.

I was embarrassed about this until I saw others having the same reaction. I was very lucky to have had the chance to see this show and in such a beautiful historic venue. David Garrett, a musician who got my attention by way of the always promoting Oprah Winfrey, was not only a musical wizard. He performed magical genius. I was very much captured into his growing list of fans and I will remain loyal. What I was a bit stymied by was the seat location based on the chart shown by the Chicago Theater. I have forever been a regular patron and enjoyed many shows in recent years. But I was dissappointed to see that M row was not designated as a far right or left section. What this means is you are really stuck in the worst accoustic location in the theater. I think it is wrong and a misrepresentation of the seating with the present online chart. I for sure would have chosen a seat in the balcony or elsewhere. As for the young man performing. He is not only charming. He is real. I plan to see him again and my greatest hope is I will get hands on much better seats. Sincerely a new fan!
