The Fools

I ve been seeing the Fools for the whole 41 years. I do wish they would play more of their old tunes like Alibi, Mutual of Omaha, spent the rend and sold out. They are all classics.

I'm No Fool because I couldn't keep up with those guys!! At 61 these guys have a couple of years on me, but run circles around that stage. It's only my second show with these guys and I'm obviously late to the party. I know and love their music, and their antics are an awful lot of fun. Obvious to the blind and in-firmed that they have a cult following that just plain knows how to party! I'll be watching the schedule and will absolutely be there for the next show. The musicianship and showmanship is OUTSTANDING!!!

I attended the Fools show at the blue ocean music hall in Salisbury Massachusetts. The fools never disappoint with their outstanding musicianship and the vocals of Mike Girard. They play a full two hours and get everybody dancing and of course there was never a dull moment. If you get a chance to see them once or twice a year you won't regret it.

The first band might have been an ok band but it was soooo loud that it was unenjoyable. The Stompers were awesome! Too short, ... The Fools were not their normal self - first half of set was definitely off - by end of set was more what we would expect from them

The Fools & Stompers were absolutely fantastic!! We had the best time! The venue at Showcase Live made it even better! They sounded great & we could see everything!!

Heard that the Stompers and Fools were playing together again brought me right back to college days- couldn't wait!! I was disappointed!! Stomper's didn't play Temptation and Fools didn't play World Dance Party! How can they not play their most popular songs? The was going to be saved if I could go out to the lobby and buy the Stompers CD so at least I can listen to them but they closed up shop and left before the Fools were done! I would go see them again but not with the excitement I had before. The venue, Showcase Live, was great!

Loved the venue - loved both bands - great night out.

The Stompers are the greatest band ever! Can't wait for more shows!

The Fools never missed a beat and were AWESOME! Mike Girard was really nice when we talked with him after the show! The opening band, Aerochix is an all female Aerosmith tribute band. They were incredible and as with The Fools, never missed a beat! I am planning to see both bands again! Venue was great too!

I ve NEVER seen a bad show at this venue. There s not a bad seat in the place and the staff are very nice

Gotta say the Psychedelic Relics were a sensational first act- great tunes and amazing musicians, loved the girls dancing and singing their hearts out! SO GOOD!!!! Then the Fools delivered their FUN and ENTERTAINING set! No breaks they staged their funny antics & rocked right thru until midnight- played all my favorites, Night for Beautiful Girls, Psycho Chicken, Night Out and did I hear a couple of new tunes?! Then that blue ocean outside the window, SMOKING steam!!!! It gave an awesome backdrop for a wonderful night!!!! The ride home was a breeze after last years rain!!!! YA, I'll be there again next year!!! ROCK!!!!!

I hadn't listened to the fools in years. Now I can't get them out of my head. The show was an absolute blast! Danced the whole night! Great band and venue. Dinner before the show was also excellent. Service during the show was good, didn't have to find my waitress. She was always right there. Overall a great night. Looking forward to seeing them again in April.

We had a great time. The venue is nice. The food was just ok and definitely overpriced for what it was. The band was very entertaining as always. Fun way to ring in the new year.

If you haven't learned from prior years, this show sells out really fast. I've been going ever since Aerochix started opening up for The Fools. It's such a fun place to see a show...who doesn't like the ocean??

Anytime we know that The Fools are playing a show, we buy tickets. Mike Girard has the best voice in rock, and the band has a tight sound that is truly amazing. The music is fresh and original, and fun. Mike infuses amusing humor throughout the show, and adds a level of enjoyment in addition to his awesome vocals and great music.

We ate upstairs at the buffet before the show. It took us 15 minutes standing in line to get a drink at the one bar that was open. By the time we got the drink, some of the food on the buffet was already gone and the remaining food was cold. Both bands were great.

I had a blast at this show, as usual. I didn't sit down the whole night!! These guys are the greatest and The Psychedelic Relics are a great band too!!

All in all a great time was guaranteed for all. They were on running on all cylinders, great energy, great fun, kick ass rock n roll. Can't wait for April Fool' day. Opening band was great as well and set the tone for the night Crowd --fantastic,

Blue Ocean and Hampton Beach are our favorite venues for seeing bands like "The Fools". You can stand up close to the stage and dance all night long. The Fools are always fun and they really make the interaction with the crowd so entertaining.

Aerochicks and The Fools were fantastic! First time I`d seen either group and can`t wait to see them again! Great atmosphere at the Blue Ocean Music Hall with a wonderful view of the ocean.

I have never been disappointed by going to The Fools show! They sounded as good as the 1st time I saw them 22 years ago! I look forward to their next show!

The Fools April Fools show......if you remember the WBCN annual April Fool's day parades, you'll remember The Fools....same old shtick, same old music, same great time. The boys from Ipswich always deliver.

The fools are new to me only heard some songs my boyfriend loves them so got him tickets for a Christmas present. From start to finish they were awesome loved it mike is a riot there was never a dull moment would definitely see them again

The best new years eve ever. The food was fabulous but the Fools made the night. Fabulous dance music with a fun time!

The music was fun, good beats. The humor was fun and a bit bizarre. It was nice to have a homecoming for the drummer and bass player. Those were clear added bonuses. This timeless kind of rock was delivered in a polished performance.

We have been to many shows and always have a great time!

The fools as usual rocked Salisbury beach, great show. The only negative effect was appetizers where advertised on the website available from 8 - 9. Was told by waitress this was not true. Not all of us could afford the 90 dinner/ ticket package. If I knew would have eaten ahead of time. Poor planning on the venue. Lot of people not happy with that. Other than that fools regular awesome show and New Years eve night even better. Balloons fun and champagne capped the night. Rock on!!!!!!!!

The combination of Psychedelic Relics and The Fools made for a perfect evening!

the show was awesome! I would go again next new years if they do it again. i brought some people that hadn't heard them before and now they are fans. the ONLY problem I had was it ended at 12:15. it was like 5,4,3,2,1 happy new year now go home. other than that I would highly recommend this show. any time you get a chance to seethe Fools you should go. .even if you have never heard of them. go you WILL have a good time.

The showcase live is great place to get up close and personal with the band. The sound was excellent. The Stompers were so much fun, Sal and the guys just playing enjoying the night. You can tell they love playing for themselves as much as they love playing for thier fans,.
