When you go see a show like this, the most important part in my opinion is the music and the crowd. Both were absolutely lit. Met soo many new people and made unforgettable memories. Can't wait until next year.

This party was sick! You had people partying on the patio at Americas Backyard, an all-day rave inside Revolution, and the block party out front!!! Such good vibes, amazing music, great time. Please keep bringing this tour back, I need this in my life. Missed Flosstradamus (heard they killed it)....but Zeds Dead, Dillon Francis, and DJ Snake were live! And then Diplo came out as a surprise at the end....oh...em...geee. Only way to make this better would be to please move it to a cooler month (July in FL=death) and upgrade the stage and lightshows.

Despite the fact that it was blazing hot and humid as usual in south Florida, the performances were amazing. Flosstradamus killed the crowd with so many trap hits. Dillon Francis and Riff Raff did some work too. The closing act was DJ snake and diplo made a surprise appearance which was all my gf and I really wanted. DJ snake and Diplo shut the place down! I'm definitely making sure to see these guys again, maybe closer next time.

Besides the fact that everyone's day was ruined because of the thunderstorms the entire afternoon, I can definitely say I had the time of my life although I personally feel that this event should of been held in downtown Miami, not downtown Fort Lauderdale. Also was a bit upset to had paid $50 and not see Dillion Francis or Baauer!

Let me preface this by saying all the Mad Decent label artists were fantastic; Kito & Reija Lee, HeRobust, Zed's Dead and especially Major Lazer, their set was incredible and Diplo had the energy of the crowd sky-high! The average rating is due to the venue. Revolution was simply not prepared for an event this size. Entrance lines were upwards of 90 minutes and there was not enough staff to keep the crowds in check. Even if they didn't have enough people some barricades or proper lanes would have helped greatly. Once inside I quickly found myself in another 45 minute line, this time for the restrooms. By my count there was eight for what seemed to be several thousand people, no separate men and women's, it was a total disaster. Aside from that, since it was an outdoor event they staged it in the parking lot and the weather being uncooperative caused several areas to be flooded, but there's not much you can do about that. That aside, the artists rescued the event and I can only hope going forward Revolution is better equipped when handling something of this size.

Me and my friends got there about 2:10 and we see this looooooooooong line that we have to wait in. Floss was supposed to start at 2:30 but started at 2. We ended waiting in the line for two hours and fifteen minutes. Didnt get in untill 4:25. The event was not organized well. We would have waited in the line for three/four hours if we didnt keep cutting the line. We cut the line a bunch of times and it still took us 2 hours+. Half the speakers got blown out as well. There was also a time when a dj stopped playing in the middle of his set for twenty minutes & one song on low volume was repeatedly playing. The long intermissions also ruined the vibe. Zeds dead killed it, major lazer + herobust did good.

Best event so far this year! Revolution nightclub is the perfect venue and the event was well organized. Kick-ass line-up and left wanting more. Hell yeah - bring us Nicky Da B, and a line-up of other New Orleans Bounce artists. Diplo exposed our community to this music genre and now I want to BOUNCE! Skrillex tore it up and his mix into "Betty Davis Eyes" was sic.

Big Gigantic and Zeds Dead were incredible. That's why I feel as though Riff Raff had to be some sort of weird joke I didn't understand the punchline of. Saw way too many 12 year olds and the event was way oversold. The sound system also was in need of huge help. A lot of crunchy bass. Also it's 6 dollars for a water.

It was the most unorganized crap I have ever went to. We waited in line from 1:30 -4:00 before we got in, missed 3 Dj sets... I payed 50 dollars and missed 3 djs. The line we were in didn't move and was very annoying because we got there before the even even started. Extremely unprofessional and unorganized. Only reason I would go again is if they had an amazing line up. Other than that, I will not attend next year

I got to the venue at 1:30, 30 mins before it started. I ended up waiting in line for 3 hours, completely missing the set from the artist I payed to see. Once I got to the gate the security girl who was supposed to be taking tickets just let everyone in. Meaning I wasted a great deal of money for no reason.

Very poorly organized. Especially for the rain, if you are going to do a block party in the summer in florida you need more tents. waited in line for over 2 hours after getting there before the doors opened. No enough booze station. The event managers kinda redeemed themselves by opening up the inside.

All of the acts were great! Even though it rained the place became packed and it was an awesome all day event. The only problem was the venue. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. What a hot mess of a festival- first of all you had to take your shoes and socks off to go through security - eww the dirty street! Kesha was the highlight of the day- but security was hosing people with water right in their faces -damaging people's electronic cell phones and cameras.

they had hoses on trying to keep the audience cool, which was nice, HOWEVER they had the hoses on spraying people's faces the entire night. my phone now has water damage and my phone was wrapped in a bandana in my purse, secured. couldn't even take pictures with my phone due to the people spraying people down with hoses. I tried moving to different spots to avoid the hoses but there wasn't any avoiding. I even asked the security if they could do something and they didn't. a little ticked off that I paid $65 just to get sprayed in the face by a hose and have a broken phone.

This show was amazing. All the dj's were great and over all it was a lot of fun. None of my friends are into edm so i ended up going by myself, which I would NOT recommend especially if you're a girl (like myself ) everyone is either on drugs, drunk, or both. Guys were just coming up behind me and starting to dance with me, ( I mean this in the most un-conceited way) Which really sucked because over all I had lot of fun, that was the only annoying thing. So I definitely recommend going, just go with friends!!!!

Pros: MCU park was the perfect space with its scenic view of the beach and Coney Island Park. The lineup was pretty good and the artists made it fun with their energy. BIG CON: asking us to take our shoes off at Security on a 90 degree day onto hot cement, Seriously? Biggest Con: a lot of people including myself missed Drake since it wasn't announced that there would be a special guest. I dont mean to complain as it was a nice gesture of him even coming out, but Security did ironically ask us on our way out if we were sure we wanted to leave...why not let it be known that someone "special" was there? A good 25% of people who were there since the beginning left after Kesha's performance.

The venue was nice (been there before) and security was a breeze to get through. Accommodations were fine, food and beer was priced as expected at an arena in nyc. My only complaint is that they closed the main exit and wouldn't open it until the final performer was done, which made no sense. We were instructed to go up the narrow steps all the way around instead of being let out the general exit

Upon arriving, ID was required for 16 yr olds. My daughter and her friend were attending and neither have their permits yet. They only had their school IDs with their grades listed. They, along with dozens of other kids, were unable to get in-even with me there with them and tickets already purchased. Everyone treated the ticket holders rudely and even the TicketMaster person who was there yelled that "an email was sent" the day before so I had no excuse that my daughter didn't have a state issued ID. Not sure why they feel the "we sent an email" line would be helpful. Very frustrating. I better be issued a refund.

It kind of sucked. There were TOO many searches going on. The like to get in was backed up for an hour and a half. It stretched 3 city blocks. It was unreal. The security checkpoint was intense. Cops with dogs, event staff searching everything short of a full cavity search. It really ruined the mood. The even is just getting too big to be fun anymore. It was double the size of last years show. There was nowhere to sit and rest. Not nearly enough porto potties. I felt violated.

Took me an hour to an hour and a half to get in MCU park. Friends had told me it was better when it was held in Kent ave in Williamsburg, which I would consider returning to it if it is there. Too much going on being at Coney Island. Of course drink lines were ridiculous and way over priced so better to get all provisions and libations before getting in. And the music choices were three minutes then changed throughout event. These artists have great music catalogs and did not play long enough. Almost as if the block party should become a two day event (at same prices). I got in at about 6 when It began at three after waiting in line at least up to an hour and a half !!! That was the worst of the block party. If ever again held at MCU park or any other concert for that matter I would rather wait for the following year or go to Governors island or wait for Electric Zoo.

great music nice venue. it rained but still was a great concert
They let way too many people buy tickets and be let inside. Also the price of food, drinks, and alcohol was INSANE. $12 for a can of bar is unheard of.
I've been loyal to mad decent, this was my fourth consecutive year. I usually go to Coney Island since I'm from there, but since they hyped up this year being the 10th anniversary and brought the fun back to philly almost exclusively, I figured why not. First of all, it started at 5, when it usually started at 3 in the past and ended around 11 like usual, so they made this show shorter, while filling it with a boy like Matt Ox. I say boy because he's 11 years old. What were you thinking diplo? Those are my only real gripes, which would have been worse if I paid normal price for the tickets. All in all, it was worth it, but Mad Decent Brooklyn has never disappointed like Philly did.
First thing I noticed was that security was very laxed compared to previous years. That was my biggest complaint in the past. Besides the rain, the show was awesome. The bass sounded really good during the later sets. Overall, the show was better than expected.
I was excited for this event the minute I got tickets! I got there at just about 5 when the event started. The first few acts were forgettable, but from Swizzymack on, the show was amazing! Even when it poured, it was a great show! My only complaint was the addition of Matt Ox, a 12 year old "rapper" who came on after Flosstradamus and before Diplo. He should have been on with the earlier acts as he dampened the already Hype mood of the crowd. Other than that, a great show!
This event was fun so much fun so much music food and friends. The weather was the only thing that made it difficult. Humidity was at an all time high. I spend my entire summer trying to see Diplo, by the time he came out I was drained. I would tell anyone who goes to this all day event to conserve energy.
All the dj's Jaiwolf, Grandtheft, Dillon Francis, Tiesto and Slushii killed it! I can't imagine if they were all giving a actual hr or more for each. It definitely would of made this event 10/10. Even though the line at the Hreek Theater took way too long. Longest line I've been too in all festivals. Also only bad beer is sold here. No cocktails! But overall it was a good event. Because of the performers the crowd (atleast near me) and it wasn't hot. Perfect weather feels since it's an outdoor stadium.
The lineup was decent but in the lowest area in front of the stage, the sound, especially the mids and highs, were not loud enough to dominate the talk of the crowd. Only once I walked above the sound guys, up the stairs to the seats, did everything sound a little clearer, though even then it was much less loud than other concerts I've been to. Measured with a calibrated iPhone SPL meter, the sound came in around 86 dB SPL, A -weighted. I understand that the venue probably doesn't want to cause hearing damage since the concert is 6 hours long but most people I know did not stay for nearly the entire 6 hours, and anyway, those worried about it can use earplugs and still feel the bass, if everything was turned up higher.

The only thing i have bad to say is... THE DAMN SOUND!!!! it wasnt loud enough! The greek is my fav place and this is prolly the lowest volume compared to other concerts. Better not be like that next year.

The show was amazing and as always the DJs are all very talented however until the last two headliners the volume was quiet my friends and I (who were standing in front) could not even hear the drops which led to the entire crowd sort of standing around awkwardly. The DJs would yell something into the mics (probably "getcho f***in hands up!") and everyone would just look at eachother and shrug because we all could not hear. Also for a MD block party I would expect way better sound quality and way better practical effects. (NO CONFETTI NO LASERS NO FIRE OR ANYTHING?!)

Besides the weird "Take off your shoes check" and the "Cash Only" for drinks and food, everything else was AWESOME!

Good headliners, good weather, lots of madness. This event does not allow CAMEL BACKS, PLUR BEADS or GoPros/GoPoles. This was extremely inconvenient and unnecessary. Getting in I was required to remove my shoes, socks, and not a part of me wasn't touched by a thorough pat down. At some point Diplo and OWSLA are going to have to realize that entering an event isn't supposed to be like entering a prison. The main stage was stacked, my personal performances of interest were Brillz, Keys n Krates and Dillon Francis. This year the main stage opened on time (last year it didn't start until 5:30 cutting a set by JAUZ short) and there was another stage inside Revolution Live. This helped with clutter since the venue is a bit small for it's taste. I went to this with a few friends who had never been to a rave and they loved it, I am moving on from small events and probably will not return but if you are a raver under the age of 18, new to the EDM spectrum, or are just trying to have a fun day with some classic head banging music, this is the event for you.

I've been to plenty of music festivals and was surprised about the negative reviews of Mad Decent at Revolution Live I had read before hand. If you like electronic festivals and live shows you will have fun at this. Feel like the people giving bad reviews were probably not into that kind of thing in the first place
After reading the reviews for this event for the previous years was very skeptical about going. It is middle of the summer in Florida so it was hot, but part of living is Florida is it is always hot. Arrived around 4:30, line to get in was not long, maybe 10 mins. Security was good, they had police dogs and where pulling people aside if the dogs went off. They scanned tickets and had me take everything out of my pockets and got patted down. The parking lot where the main stage was located has trees and plenty of shade so didn't have to be in direct sun the entire time. They had hoses in front of the stage and were spraying the crowd constantly. There was more than enough bars and didn't wait any longer than a few minutes to ever get a cold drink. There was a lot of young people there since they made the event 16 and up but I did not have any issues with this. Every person I talked to was nice and friendly. Very good crowd and lots of energy. The main stage sound was good and loud and sounded amazing. I did not go inside to see the second stage since was there to see the main stage acts. I would definitely go again depending on the line up but would probably arrive about 6-7 o'clock after it cools down a bit more. Would like MDBP to allow totems, flag and kandi.
Saturday was just picked to be the better day. I'm Sorry to say Die Antwoord Killed it. But for sunday What so Not was the most underrated performance and he was killing it.
Event was limited to 100db due to noise restrictions. I was pretty close to the front of the venue and the music was quiet. I also couldn't understand anything the DJs were saying. The sound level was so low that I was able to talk to people at a normal volume. Would suggest having the event someplace where sound can be turned up!
Of all the cities this event took place in, Berkeley had the most thrown together line up, with the last artist not even being revealed until the day before, then being changed last minute. Clearly Berkeley was not a priority for Diplo and Mad Decent. I had a great time last year, and the line up was a million times better. I will not go again, or recommend it to anyone. The sound was terrible, and I could fully hear conversations going on around me over the music.
Mad decent always brings a good lineup and the Greek Theater is an awesome venue. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because of how quiet everyone was until Major Lazer came on. My friend and I were about 30 feet from the stage and you could hear everyone talking and my friend and I could hold a conversation without even having to raise our voices. Naturally, when we told the sound guy it was too quiet he told us to fuck off but oh well.
The music was very low volume for such a large venue and they oversold this event, resulting in an overcapacity in the venue (You could barely walk around and they closed off the main floor). They should have sold a lot less tickets.
