It was an Amazing show! My only complaint was that it wasn't long enough! There was a meet and greet afterward and Mark was very kind and gracious. He seemed to humbled by all his fans.

Taking the stage at BBs , Mark Farner performed like he was playing for a 50,000 stadium audience. The few who were there in that room were treated to an amazing ,unforgettable treat . His guitar virtuosity and fresh vocals transported the room to a distantly familiar early hard rock heaven.

This was a great show. he did all the hits from his GF days. and the man is in shape! dam! my only complaint was the sound mix. I dont know if this falls on BB Kings sound system, the bands sound guy or the positioning of the mike but his vocals were overshadowed by the band which was a bummer.

To see Mark Farner again was as always an amazing experience. He has been my absolute favorite rock performer to see in person for a long, long, time...and I've seen quite a few great rock stars over the years. His energy, his voice, his STRUT...and the way he plays that guitar...It was like being back in 1970 when I 1st saw GFR. I just love his music , with all it's wild and crazy soulful flavor and all the beautiful harmonies, it's a hard act to follow... SO, THANK YOU BB KINGS, ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES TO GO AND THANK YOU MARK FARNER FOR ALWAYS A FABULOUS SHOW...GOD BLESS.

What a great show. I am so happy that Mark is still playing. His voice sounds great and he can still play and shake his booty off! However, it saddens me that Mark isn't playing in larger venues to adoring crowds. He should be playing venues like the Beacon Theater or doing double bills at Radio City. Still, I am so happy to see Mark Farner perform again. Hey you knuckleheads at the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, Mark should have been inducted a long time ago. If he needs to be inducted with GFR, get the job done and stop inducting performers who should be waiting in line.

Still amazing energy. If you were a Grand Funk fan you will love it. Only disappointment he didn't play Inside Looking Out which to me is always the quintessential Farner performance. If you get the chance, don't miss it.

Seeing Mark Farner at B. B. Kings, NYC was a great experience. Not only did he sing and play as I imagined, his fellow bandmates were wonderful too. He played one GFR classic after another with some of his less famous but my favorite songs mixed in. I waited a long time to see him but next chance I get, I'll be there.

I've been a fan of GFR and Mark Farner since I was about 15 when they first hit the music scene. I immediately aligned with Mark Farner, I am also a guitar player and singer and his music suited me just fine! I've seen Mark a few times over the past 10 years or so and I always enjoy the shows! Mark took to the stage at the Bear's Den and immediately rocked it!...all night! From, Footstompin' Music, to 'Inside Looking out' and many hits in between. When he played "Heartbreaker" I couldn't hold back tears of joy and adoration! If you ever have a chance to see Mark in concert, do not hesitate! He will delight and amaze everyone again and again!

Mark Farner and his set list exceeded all of my expectations. Looked, played, sang and moved great. This was like reliving 1971 at CoBo with old GFR tunes that came fast and furious, worked his rear end off for this small Michigan venue. The guitar riffs were right on and the wah wah pedal was going to town. The supporting band was right on. Will look for future shows. Goose bumps if you're any vintage GFR fan. Great concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mark Farner was absolutely fantastic! His voice sounded great and the way he moved around the stage brought back the great memories I had of Grand Funk back in the seventies. I saw them play many, many times back then and Farner was the heart and soul of the band. Along with his super cool look of the long hair and arm band he was a true symbol of the peace and love generation. Sunday night's performance brought back those fantastic memories to me as he performed with a lot of energy and emotion. I look forward to seeing him perform again!

Originally Uriah Heap/Mark Farner show, but Heap bailed and left Farner as main event....instead of canceling, other groups were added and didn't know what to expect. The Todd Wolfe Band and Bonnie Williams were booked and both were unexpected pleasures, especially Wolfe. Their blues rocked the house....Farner played for 90 minutes and having seen Grand Funk Railroad almost 40 years ago at the same venue, he banged out everything the audience came to hear. His energy, voice, and enthusiasm made the evening. His band was tight and the sound was perfect. I took my son and he was able to appreciate the music that his "Dad" grew up listening to and still plays. Rock on Mark!!

This was my second time seeing the front man from Grand Funk, and Mark Farner was better this time than 15 years ago. I sat front row and was very impressed with his voice and the power with which he delivers it. Most rockers of his age have lost a little off of their voice, not Farner. Great set list and performance. Loved it.

Mark was in rare form, moving around the stage like he was still in his twenties. His voice was also beyond what I expected as powerful as his live recordings from the early 1970,s. He is still one of the best rock guitarist of all time and last night he did not disappoint. It was an excellent show. i hope to see him again in the future.

Are You Ready, take off. The energy of this show was so high, I can't believe so many stayed glued to their seats-are we all old now??? Mark, Carl, Lawrence, and Hubert were synergy personified! Mark may be the main man, his co team made the music also come alive. Mark's vocals were spot on, perfect. He gave and we enjoyed. The other guys, their back up and equal vocals were exact and amplified Mark's creativity and talent. No man is a show alone, and his band made all the difference. (They made him look good, if not better)!! There were many numbers I would have liked to hear, except, we can't be there all night. The selection was good, represented the majority of the albums. I know I missed a few. Mark is obviously a very nice man, and it shows in his performance. His smile is one a woman would definitely appreciate, and gave atmospher to his showmanship, He does the best live show anyone could ever do. If there is no doubt who was and is GFRR, no matter who his band is, one only needs to see and hear Mark perform. He still has his voice and is still a vocal leader for rock. His guitar playing is still top notch. Mark is and always will be the best. If he didn't know it before, how much he is loved, he had better know it now!!!

mark took the stage and delivered his unmistakeable style of rock and roll to fans of all ages. his unique voice and guitar playing was flawless and had everyone at the atwood stadium in flint michigan dancing and moving to the beat. he introduced members of the different bands that he played with prior to the grand funk railroad adventure. and had them on stage performing with him. this concert is proof that mark farner has gone from grand funk to grace. both on stage and off he is one of the most honest and finest people that you could meet. i would encourage anybody that loves rock and roll, to see mark forner, formerly of grand funk, perform.

I frankly don't see what all the hoopla was about Mark other than he used to be in Grand Funk and he was from Flint. Personally, I was much more impressed with Pac'O'Mojo. Their songs had more imagination and content , their lead singer was very energetic and gave alot of credit for the music to the other members of the band not only himself. Mark Farners band, seemed to be just repeating the same phrases over and over again with alot of loud music. Kind of boring. On the other hand if Mark Farner simply, by coming to Flint can get people in the seats and help Flint/Michigan, all the better. We need the help.

Farner did a very good job with his concert. He was in fine voice and did not look like a 60 year old on the stage. It was a "lovefest" cuz Farner is from Flint and had not performed a concert there since 1975. People were glad to have him back and he did not disappoint the crowd. The sound system did not do him favors on a few songs but overall it was as good a concert that we have been too. My wife thought he was "still hot". It was nice to go on Atwood Stadium grounds and set up a chair and watch the concert. Excellent venue.

Mark is still amazing as he always was...pure rock n roll, pure heart! Great 18-song list for a close to 70-year-old and an old school rocker! Wish they kept the traditional encore or curtain call, but they do an autograph table instead. We saw him in the sort of small Ridgefield Playhouse in Connecticut. The venue was sort of enclosed, so someone needs to tell Mark and the band that they need to do a better sound check and scale back the instrument amps and speakers in that sort of setting--vocals and sound detail drowned out completely. A disservice to the band and music. I LOVE loud rock, but that was too loud for the space!! Wanna fix that Mark!

Mark still has it. Have not seen him in-twenty years. His voice is clean and clear. He has a lot of energy left. Never seen them live before, a friend recommended the band, and Mark far exceeded my expectations. Many hits were played from our generation, and the audience loved it all. Thank yhou for a brilliant performance. Gotta go dust off the old LPs and rock the night away. First time n this venue,I thought the place was fantastic and the sound was perfect! Mark Farner's American Band show was amazing. Listening to his catalog of Grand Funk hits brought back so many memories. His band was talented and provided perfect support for Mark. While no one would compare Andiamo s Showroom to the Grande Ballroom ... it was great seeing Mark up close again ... along with hundreds of his fans not tens of thousands. Mark was fit, his voice strong and his guitar playing gritty as ever! His keyboard work was gritty too. And fortunately he brought along his harmonica as well! He was still very good even at 66 years old but, He didnt play very long (1 hr 10 mins) - C'mon. And that was after two encore songs. We paid good money to see him to not even get 1.5 hrs. I have seen several Grand Funk shows some with and some without Mark. You can't really say Grand Funk without Mark. The man is the voice and driving force of Grand Funk and now his solo band. The band was tight and sounded great with faithful renditions of all the big hits. Mark's voice is great even after his heart attack and having a pace maker put in. I was very surprise how lively he was and how he really belted the songs out. The only drawback to the show was the length as they only played about 1 hour 5 minutes total, but for $25 and getting to see one of the "greats" even an hour was a bargain for $25.

Mark Farner is someone that you just have to see live. The joy he has in performing is contagious! It is damn near impossible to see him and not feel good while watching. He was on his game, hitting every mark and putting his musical legacy out there for all of us to once again enjoy. The expected Grand Funk Railroad numbers were certainly the highlight. He brings so much energy and feeling to the songs. Personally, I do not think there is anything I would rather see than Mark Farner singing 'Bad Time' live and in person. Great night and a great show in one of my favorite venues. I could not be happier! We did the meet and greet before the show. I have to admit-I was star struck. Mark was very down to earth, almost timid like... But...when he got on stage-he was the Mark Farner I remembered. It's kind of like...Clark Kent with the glasses and easy going temperment at the meet and greet...and on stage he was...Superman. His voice has not changed...every single song was spot on-he had SO much energy running back and forth...and he just has unlimited amounts of talent! He joked about being 67 and guessing his pacemaker works! He is amazing :) I would highly recommend his show...what a night that was!!!

As for the concert it was Fantastic , Mark and Band were hitting the note real high. Might as well say I saw Grand Funk Railroad. I paid extra for VIP it was a joke!!!! Was supposed to have early access, and a meet and greet. For the VIP they let us in 5 minutes before the doors opened, gave us a piece of paper to reserve our seat.Said be back in lobby 7:15 we got a 10 second hand shake and a quick photo with Mark. NO Autographs??? This is what a meet and greet is supposed to be. Then was told he would do autographs at the merchandise table after show, but this was for everyone even the non VIPs. So I was first in line for the autographs. Get throw ed another curve now since the line is so long you can only get one autograph. NOW i COULD HAVE GOTTEN THIS WITH OUT PAYING THAT EXTRA MONEY FOR THE VIP. NEVER AGAIN I HAVE BEEN HAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
