B96 Pepsi Summer Bash

Definitely one of the best days of my life. Zedd was amazing and I still wanna go back and live everything again

Had a blast at this concert, not going to lie!!!! The line up and performances by the artists were awesome!!! And even though we got drenched from the downpour rain and the concert was delayed 30 minutes due to lightning, I would do it again!! However, my complaint is the obstructed view from 2nd row!! Wouldn't have thought that would be the case but the stage was cut very short and didn't even go over to the TWO right sections. So my view most of the time were speakers and the backs of camera crew taking pics. Couldn't see most of the band or DJs. Couldn't be more disappointed for 2nd row tickets!!!

Summer Bash was absolutely MIND BLOWING! Best concert I have been to by far! There were so many incredibly talented artists there. I only paid $111 to sit 13th row in the very front, middle section. Very reasonable, especially considering how many people performed. I'll definitely be back next year!

This concert was probably one of the best concerts I've ever been to. The performers were awesome and they really got the crowd going! It was such a long concert too! I loved it!

The show itself was awesome. B96 always does a good show, and this one was no exception. The artists were awesome, sound was good, and the show had great energy! Some things did not seem as polished in past years, but I think they were trying to squeeze things together to beat the incoming poor weather. My big issue was with how Toyota Park's security handled things after they let people back in after the show was delayed. Those of you who attended this year know that it stormed during the show. It rained hard and the floor had to be evacuated due to lightning. Leaving was not optional, security made it clear that we had to evacuate. After the lightning passed, someone made the decision that they were no longer going to enforce the assigned seats. This meant that my $200+/each, row 7 center seats were taken. Of course, the people who took the seats didn't leave voluntarily, and the first two security guards we talked to didn't want to get involved even though I produced our two tickets saying we paid to sit there. Their solution instead was telling me to screw someone else over by taking their seats. Finally, the third security guard we talked to fought the good fight and made the people who took our seats find somewhere else. But honestly, it took way too long for this to get fixed and I had to spend a big part of Zedd's act dealing with this instead of enjoying my awesome seats. We could hear pissed off people all around us as security denied helping people get the seats they paid for, so we might have been some of the only ones who were persistent enough to actually get our seats back. I'm at a quandary when it comes to giving the overall rating. Do I let some ******* attendees or some lazy security guards ruin an awesome concert? Or do I rate the show for how it was and ignore how hard it was to get what I paid for? I guess I'll shoot down the middle this time and hope for better next year.

Was amazed at how orderly it was, the only line I waited in was for food. Amazing setup and the lighting was perfect for each artist making their performance even more perfect! These artists were the best I've seen and ib would see this again in a heartbeat!

I think it was a great show , highly eergetic. However due to the heavy rains, lighthng n thundering, I think w should receive a partial refund since they stopped the show. Should have started on time at 5pm and not an hour late.

Everything was awesome other than Ariana Grande not showing up and nonreason given. This is a second event for B96 that an artist didnt show up and I go for my daughter's and both times the tickets webpurchased were foe these artists. One was Selena Gomez and then Ariana Grande. I understand things happen but it is a lot harder to accept the reason when u r not given one. Start giving reasons if ur artists dobt show up. I go to both events every year and i know a lot of people who do and we will stop goong if this issue doesnt stop!

Great event, was a little disappointed that not all the artists slated to play performed, especially without any explanation from the producers. Also, since this event was for younger people, especially teens, the pricing for food and souvenirs was a bit outrageous.

Got there early for product demenstrations, and between the nice weather in the beginning, and the quality acts could not hav had a better time. It was fantastic sound and the acts were first rate.

Summerbash was over 6 hours long, but amazing! The performances were really good and got the crowd pumped. The only thing I didn't like was the time it took between performances. The "DJ's" set between performances was way too long and unnecessary. There was a cancellation from one of the artists so instead of replacing that time slot with Krewella, they let the DJ play for that time slot and THEN let Krewella on. They should've just let them on during that slot instead of the DJ. The concert was running an hour behind schedule.

i only bought the tickets (which werent cheap) to see emblem3 and ariana grande and ariana didnt even show up. i drive 2 hours just to see like 4 songs from emblem3, who were amazing but thats besides the point. i paid to see ariana grande!!!

The concert was unforgettable! The artists were great and so talented and made it fun. The weather wasn't bad until the end but that is uncontrollable. I had a great time. The only problem is is that the tickets are kind of pricey. To get good seats you have to pay a lot more than necessary. It was sad that Ariana couldn't come but at least they got another group to replace her!

Summer Bash was the best concert I have ever attended. It was amazing and so much fun! The view was good from all seats, and the environment was great! The surprise guests made the concert an incredible experience. I loved it!

I brought my niece and two daughters ages 10-19. I have to say this show was average to us. We liked last years bbash better. There is way too many intermissions and they seem to last forever! I can watch videos at home! We did enjoy Demi, Cher Lloyd, Avril and Neyo did great too. As a parent, I didn't really appreciate the f bombs on stage by a few acts one of them being Ryan Lewis and Mackelmore. I think that these artists forget that younger people are in attendance. One thing that has to be addressed is they really need to have a better system to get out of this this parking lot when the concert is over. It took us one hour to get out of there. It was absolutely ridiculous. I have never been at a concert elsewhere that takes this long. It's already a long concert do we really need to be in our car in extra hour? I hope they figure something out because obviously what they have now ain't working!

The Summer Bash really was the best night of my life. I'm 16 years old and went with 1 friend. It was my first time and I will always come back! So excited for jingle bash and for summer bash 2014!

It was awesome would go again and I really did not feel out of place for my age. Even my son and his friends thought that I had to be crazy to go.

Hands down this concert was pretty awesome! I'm so glad I decided to attende this spectacular event with my good friends! I can't wait till next year! The only thing I'm sad about is that I didn't get to see arianna grande :( other than that is was awesome!

Was absolutely amazing can't wait for next year. Everybody was amazing straight down the downpour when Afro Jack was playing nothing like singing and dancing in the rain.

This show was just amazing! All of he acts nailed it! Emblem3, Ne-yo, Avril Lavige, Demi Lovato, Sammy Adams with Mike Pozer, Krewella, Afrojack, Maclemore, Cher Lloyd... All amazing!

Afrojack.Ne-yo.DemiLovato.Macklemore?! and more ! PLUS THE pouring rain during afrojack made it crazyy! So much fun!!

Was great to finally be able to see Summer Bash! Enjoyed and Loved the performances by NE-YO!!! Avril Lavigne, Demi Lovato. The rest of the artist line up I was unfamiliar with them, which made it a learning experience when I finally got to match the song with the artist! Let's just make one thing clear: DO NOT JINX THE MOTHER NATURE and THE CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS by saying out loud "There's no rain today!!! And we're going to win GAME 2 tonight against the BRUINS!" Right after these words were uttered by B96 DJs, the clouds opened up and dumped big, fat, rain drops. To make matters worse, the Blackhawks lost in OT againts the Bruins, making the Stanley Cup 2013 Finals tied 1:1.

I love attending B96 summerbash, but this year was very impressive. An artist cancelled and in her spot two bigger named artists were in attendance. The Summerbash is always a blast and I anticipate attending next year.

The best concert ever! I fell in love with everything! So much fun!

Performances were okay. Best ones were neyo, Demi, and macklemore and Ryan Lewis. The dj played way too much between artist and parking leaving was ridiculous! Leaving Toyota park took an hour! Would not recommend coming back. Def a pre teen show

I loved that there was so many famous and skilled singers, rappers, and DJs there. They also had a lot of surprises like having Sammy Adams, mike posner, and Miley Cirus as suprise performers and guests, and they even kept us posted about the Blackhawks score.

Overall, a good show, although with one artist (Ariana Grande) canceling, they should not have been running late with the schedule. Ne-Yo was outstanding; first time seeing him, and I would go to see him when he does his own concert. The online Mastercard offer did cost a bit more, but was well worth it; didn't have to wait in line to enter the stadium when gates opened, and the two drink tickets and snacks would have cost more to buy at the concession stand than the additional charge for the special purchase ticket.

I had so much I went to see Demi Lovato she was awesome I would go see her every time if I could afford it she's the bomb she's very Beautiful I love her music and love her Demi :) I had a blast at the b96 bash wish I had the chance to meet her cause I would die to go see her hopefully one day

It was a lot of fun the ticket lines to get in should have gone faster but the performers were amazing and defiantly worth seeing

The concert was awesome I would like if there was like two or one more Big tv to c a lil better the artists singing but other then that all the artists Sang awesome. Oh what I didn't like was that when we left and we were in The parking lot everybody at the same time wanted to leave and there was no one out there making sure the traffic went in a line or two. Ooo and almost forgot where was Ariana Grande ??? she was one of the main reasons I bought a ticket and she wasn't there !! What a bummer for me that was!

The best B-Bash was the one w/Nelly, Naughty by Nature... This one was more for teenage girls than anything, which really made it annoying for adults.

Demi Lovato stole the show, It was so much fun. Although it rained, the party never stopped and every single artist was incerdible!!!

It was a great to experience these artists with my daughter. Definately doing it next year!

This concert was amazing and unforgettable! Everything was just perfect! There were so many great artists and insanely amazing fans! It's definitely a perfect way to kick off the summer ! If you didn't go this year, I suggest going next year!!!! :D I love you Jason Cage.

Amazing artist especially for my first concert!!!!

I loved the event!!! Except the rain, wet, & cold part...I loved the surprised artist, Krewella, that showed up! I love hearing new bands and the usual ones that are played on the radio! Oh and that performance of Sammy Adam & Mike Posner was awesome!!! I've been waiting to hear Cher Lloyd sing and she did not disappoint.

Emblem3 was amazing! They should have been further into the line up and played for longer but other than that the show was amazing!

For the price and number of artists it was worth it. Great show!!

Best concert I have ever been too! Afro Jack made it rain, demi leva to rocked the stage, and Ne-yo with those smooth dance moves. Awesome!!!!

This was my first Summerbash ! it was by far amazing! i loved it . i will definitely keep comin back till they stop.! summerbash was amazing. Keep getting amazing bands & other artists and You'll have me buying awesome tickets. i payed 280.00 for two tickets! MAN WAS IT WORTH IT! practicly like 10 concerts in one!. & keenan cahill was a boss. aha!

I bought tickets for my 7 year old daughter and I to have a Mommy/Daughter night and it sure didn't disappoint!! It was my daughter's first concert and my first since I went to the B96 Summer bash back when I was a teenager! I have absolutely NO complaints!! There were MAYBE 1-2 cuss words and only one song inappropriate for her age (that she could understand the meaning). Very family friendly event and I can't wait to go again next year. I think I might have to have this be a new tradition for us! :)

B96 Summer Bash is a good deal for the amount of artists you see in one concert. However, this particular concert had way too much lag time between performers, often showing multiple music videos between acts. Having been to other similar B96 concerts, this ranked at the bottom.

I always like to go to concerts like these because you get to see so many different artists all in one night. I originally only went to this concert to see Niall, Liam and Jason Derulo but I enjoyed most of the other artists as well.

Very fun! Definitely going to the jingle bash as well. Resale tickets are costly but it was fun.

There was a good lineup, but too much emphasis on the DJ and very short singing sets. There were also long breaks between acts, so we wound up watching a few videos between each person. Overall it was more of a nightclub act, given there was no place to dance, this was not a plus. At most of these venues the stage is projected on a large screen behind the stage so you can watch, here there was just a giant screen with videos. This made it hard o see the acts. The show lasted about 1 or 2 hours longer than it needed to with "filler" material.

B96 always puts on an incredible show with amazing artists!!

The bash was amazing, the artists stayed in the rain with us. No storms could stop real fans it was amazing my sister and I stayed the entire time storm and all.

I had a blast! The lineup was awesome! Artists I normally wouldn't go see but it was great seeing them. Jake miller and nick Jonas were my favorite! We only saw 8 out of 10 artists that were there due to the rain. But I was not disappointed!

I brought my granddaughter to her first concert. She was very excited and had a great time. I personally was disappointed with the last act, Usher and that is the one I was standing in the rain for. He had the audience singing more than he was performing. The best act was Flo rida.

I recommend and indoor venue next time. The rain and lightning kind of ruined it. People lost their seats they paid a lot of money for when people were invited down on the floor. Concert was great but again not a fan of the venue.

This is first time my daughter and I attended, and it was awesome. I cannot wait until next year.

Ive been going to these events for years after year. I was disappointed by the delay due to lightning but very happy once it restarted. I loved the music between changes and the artists. I didn't like how we did not have the glow sticks this year

The whole concert had been breathtaking and upbeat every moment. Never missing a beat. Nick Jonas was my favorite and I can't wait to see him again.

poor stadium. Over run by pre teens. Rain ruined the main act (usher) but that's no ones fault. Just wish I hadn't gone and wasted my money and I poorly run, funded, and executed show.

Every band played very well. I and my daughter had a great time. Rain was spoil though

My Mom & Dad bought me the tickets for my 20th Birthday, (of which is June 22nd), it was myself & my boyfriend of 2 years that attended the amazing B96 Summerbash! It was the 1st time in 21 months that I have had such a big smile on my face, and was able to forget about what happened to me on September 21st 2010. That was when a "Drunk Driver" with a blood alcohol level of .286 & a list of DUI's a mile long, hit me "Head On @ 80 MPH", and changed my Life forever! By the Grace of God My Life was spared, But with life long injuries (having my 6th surgery on August 28th)! Statistics were not on his side, as he was killed instantly! Since that horrible day, I have been sad & depressed & in constant pain! But attending the B96 Summerbash erased all of that for one awesome night! All the Performers were fantastic! We enjoyed every moment! Thanks B96 for making this "Summerbash" one I'll always remember! Sincerely, Celeste Roppo

It was excellent. Started off slow but the night got better as the show went on. Flo Rida performed his new hit with Sia and came out into the audience, which you rarely see hip hop stars do at concerts.

This was seriously the best year. I've went for the past three years but this year was legit my favorite. Austin Mahone signed my shirt and do many other girls. The Wanted was amazing and the weather was perf. I honestly loved it so much it was great.

THE B96 SUMMERBASH WAS A GREAT TIME-LOTS OF GREAT GROUPS PERFORMED- BIG TIME RUSH, SEAN PAUL, KARMIN, FLO RIDA, GYM CLASS HEROES, DEV, KAT GRAHAM, KARMIN, FLO RIDA AND THE WANTED. SOME ACTS PLAYED 3 OR 4 SONGS, SOME ACTS PLAYED LONGER . A FUN TIME WAS HAD.

The show started off slow. The second half was better than the first half. Wished the artists would have played more and the DJs played less but overall it was a good show.

All in all the concert was awesome. Dev was a disappointment, glad she was first because I would not want to wait around to see her. The venue was clean and there was always a security person around to ensure safety.

Fun times by all. DJ Flipside was awesome. Austen Mahone sucked. Waiting to get a ride outside of the park sucked even worse. Good job totally blocking Harlem for 45 mins! Why are traffic "control" officers so inept???

My daughter and I had a blast at this year's event! Soooo glad we shelled out the extra $$ for field seating right in front of the stage but the little plastic folding chairs, tied together with plastic ties, were AWFUL!!!! No room to move let alone dance! They squashed us in like sardines in the HOT sun!! ugh!!! I found myself looking at the people in the cheap seats with complete envy as they had plenty of room for both their hands on their dance floor!!! The music was amazing! I LOVE DJ Flipside! Truly talented man! FloRida half naked in the rain was very pleasing to the eyes! Travie McCoy and the boys made my heart soar! Mike Posner is just toooo darn sweet! Love them All!!!

Summer Bash was an awesome concert! Loved all the performers. Toyota Park had clean bathrooms, close concessions and great views from all over. However, the parking was horrible! I probably would not go to an event here again due to the fact it took over an hour to get out of the parking lot. They really need a better system.

Me , my family and friends had a blast at the Summer Bash. My friend and I have decided to save money to go up front where the stage is located next year. I had a fun time all night and day long.

This was my fourth time going...it was the best one yet. All the acts were good!

The B96 Summerbash, overall, was okay. I mean, it's not my style of music; this was my daughter's graduation party. It's a shame that Karmin lip-synced to half of her songs.

I didn't see very much, but everything I heard was great, and the bits I could see were great to watch. A couple artists came out into the crowd, and it was just an all around good time. It's a great way to get new artists exposure, and introduce them to the public. The rain only made it better and more fun. My problem is that my seats were misrepresented, and I paid a lot of money for 2nd row seats from which I could see nothing, except for when the artists came to the very front of the stage. The seating chart showed that the stage extended out to the sides, and it did not. The sound equipment and stuff blocked most of my view, and what they didn't block, a photographer stood in most of the time. I would have been better off sitting in nose bleeds and saving myself $200.

The show was great, loved Mike Posner, Gym Class Heroes and Flo Rida! Would definitely go again if I had better seats.

This concer was absolutely amazing! The beginning acts were "eh", but after Mike Posner, things really got started! Flo Rida was amazing, The Wanted were amazing. Overall, awesome!! It was annoying that you weren't allowed to have caps on your water bottles, but oh well.

Too many teens drinking and acting like kids! LOL I do not believe the show was intended for anyone older than sixteen.

It was a lot of fun! I was not their from the beginning but it was a GREAT time. I only wish that each acted played longer and that they sold merch for all the bands instead of only two. The shirts for the event were alright, but I thought they weren't too cool either... the actual show was AMAZING however! watching Big Time Rush and the WANTED was probably the best part but the whole event was a lot of fun!

The B96 Summer Bash was pretty lame. The artists all preformed well and I have nothing against them however, Toyota Park is a terrible facility. No re-entry was allowed so in the pouring rain we couldn't get our coats, its outdoor and visibility was awful. The concert itself was decent however the coordination of down time between bands was boring and repetitive. They played the same 6-7 music videos in between bands which got really old really fast. The sound of the stadium was weak, hardly loud at all and there were several issues with the sound team making the artists sound horrible with feedback etc. I had a decent amount of fun with my girlfriend here but honestly we liked Fantabuloso a thousand times better. And it was pretty expensive for our far away seats and bad visibility. There isn't much I remember that was positive to our time there, except the food prices were very reasonable for being locked into that stadium for 6hours. $5 pizza and $4 popcorn were far better then some of the prices i've seen in other massive concerts like this. Overall just stay away from the b96 summer bash, and pop music in general :/

We were really excited about this event because Jingle Bash was amazing, but it was really cold and rainy. The sound quality also wasn't the best, and it was too long. It was a 6-7 hour event and there was too much time in between each performance. All the well known artists played towards the end so we didn't get to see them b/c we were tired and cold so we had to leave early. Also, the artists played many unknown songs, and there were some bands there that couldn't sing or that were not well known.

Tickets should have stated no re-entry! Sell sweat shirts instead of tee's when the temp is 50 and rain!

The artist line up was great---what wasn't great was having to wait so long to get into the stadium. The $140 ticket price for 9th row wasn't great because the stage didn't extend to the edges of the rows....we ended up being much farther from the performers than hoped. Also the show got to be 90 minutes off schedule...we had to leave before the last two artists went on, and I heard that the final performer only got 8 minutes because Toyota Park shut down at 11 pm. Jingle Bash at AllState went better.

I feel like i wasted my money on this concert! I paid for a concert, not to sit there and watch music videos and commercials. There was like 30 minute breaks between each performer and it was boring!

We were excited about the B Bash until we got there. The gates didn't open when they said they would online. The lineup was an hour behind schedule. We could hardly hear some of the artists because the microphones weren't loud enough. The food was terrible.

While the artists all sounded great for their 15 minutes of fame, the wait in between each act was long and drawn out. Since when do we watch commercials at a concert?

Great except pitbull didn't sing that long. Put up on the marquee ......coming out in ......minutes . I had no idea of program or who had come out until I saw a bbash shirt with the list of performers.

THIS WAS THE BEST CONCERT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO AND I GO TO A LOT OF CONCERTS.

This was my first time ever at summer bash and it was an expierence I'll never forget! From beining to end everything was fun, even waiting for the next acts to come on! But I have to say one of the best parts was partying in the rain to Afrojack! If you havnt gone to summer bash yet you really need to! Great way to start your summer! I'll def be returning!

Our seats were so good we were in A1 and being that close to the stage was awesome! Although I would've liked to be closer And More in front of the stage rather than off to the side.. We still had amazing seats. I wish they sold tshirts through throughput the entire concert because I didn't have enough time To think about it before the concert Because I didn't want to get out line. So selling things like that during the concert would've been nice.
