He was wonderful! Him and his band are amazing. They are a music lovers dream. If you liked his tapes, cds, albums etc. you will love him live! Pam Tillis sings like an angel!

Was a great show and would love to see him again. Loved the Native American Dancers during Seminole Wind.

John Anderson show was an acoustical treat, with John on guitar accompanied by fiddle and Dobro. He played all my favorite songs and new material too. John is the real deal, not just some guy in a cowboy hat.

I just love this man's voice. It is very unique. He puts on a very good show. One song after another without a bunch of bells and whistles. Would definitely see him again. His band members are very talented also.

I was totally pleased with the concert. I had seen John Anderson before and was excited to see him again. Love the Winstar music center it is a great venue to attend concerts. I also saw Martina McBride here and it was a great experience as well. The tickets were very well priced and the distance was perfect for us. We had a great time and will start attending more concerts at Winstar. Overall Great Experience....

We loved the concert! John Anderson was good as always! The only complaint was a bunch of horribly, rude girls behind us. They didn't come to see the concert but only to gossip and show pictures on their phones. We couldn't say anything due to fear of being hit by a beer bottle because they were already drunk.

What a great show. He sounded as good as he did when he originally recorded all of those amazing songs.

The show was thoroughly entertaining. I would definitely see again.

John Anderson and his band are amazing musicians and entertainers. I was impressed by John's voice - just as strong as ever. He played guitar and banjo! His side men were excellent - the mandolin player also played fiddle; the steel guitar player exceptional and the lead guitar, bass player and drummer were very tight. John was very gracious and spent time at the end of the concert shaking hands and signing autographs. This was a fun concert. John is an awesome entertainer!

My husband & I attended this concert Fri. night and loved it! We had seen John several years ago when he was here, and loved him then as well. We purchased his CD and my husband has been listening to it ever since. Great concert!!

I saw John perform over 25 years ago much closer to home in LA. Like me, he's aged, but I thoroughly enjoyed the show. He was all about the music, and sang songs I used to like that I had forgotten till I heard them again. Good job, John, I'd go see you again!

I have seen him many times through the years and everytime the concert is unforgettable. He is a mainstay of country music with a voice that is unique and a performance that is realistic and wonderful.

John Anderson showed that he is still a class act with his Jan. 7 show at the Snoqualmie Casino. I wasn't aware The Kentucky Headhunters were opening the show, but was delighted with their set. These guys really rock, and their lead guitarist is one of the best I've ever seen. Anderson sang a few songs from his latest album but mostly stuck to his classics. This crowd was VERY into the show. I thought the place would fall apart when he sang Black Sheep. Anderson's voice is still strong, which is always a concern as artists age. During both The Kentucky Headhunters' and Anderson's set, they really kept the energy up. All around a great show. I can't wait to see him again.

The band was tight and he mixed his older standards with new tunes from his latest album. He can still carry a tune and his bandmates were tight. The price was incredible for close to a 3 hour show. I will come back again when he plays the Northwest for sure.

Went to see John Anderson at the Snoqualmie Casino last night - what an awesome show. John sounded as great as ever and sang a ton of songs, everything from Seminole Wind, Wild and Blue, Chicken Truck, and Black Sheep of the Family, to some of his newest songs such as Bigger Hands and Shuttin Detroit Down. Kentucky Headhunters was the opening act and they were amazing as well! Phenomenal concert! Highly recommended!

This was my first time seeing John Anderson live and it was a great experience. I went by myself and still managed to have a good time. John has an incredible voice, so hearing him live was amazing. I cried a few times because I couldn't believe I was actually seeing him in person. I feel very lucky.

Great show, very talented support band. Played all his major hits plus a few new ones. Snoqualmie sitll can't get their sound system correct. Some of the instruments drowned out John Anderson's vocals on some beautiful songs

JA took us back to the early 80's when we were young. He still has great stage presence and his music is pure country/bluegrass. Loved him and the venue!!!!

Both shows were great. Great musicians, great singers, all the hits...... it was a great evening!

Pam Tillis opened, and looked and sounded as good as ever. You forget how many hits both of these performers had. The only slight negative is that Pam remained seated on a stool for the entire performance, which didn't help the energy level. Maybe there was an injury? But she sounded great, and had two talented musicians with her. John Anderson was John Anderson. Played a lot of the old hits, and his voice almost sounded as good as ever. Also played several from his newest album "Goldmine", and these were really good as well. Had a large backing band, sounded great. Another nice touch: during "Seminole Wind", had Native American dancers in full dress performing. Will definitely try to see him next time he comes through. The new Choctaw Casino venue is pretty fantastic as well. The only real negative was that we had some huge loud talkers behind us, so much that we couldn't hear the stories between songs, and nobody at the venue seemed to care.

First time to see John Anderson the whole show was great. Very crowd friendly. We will definitely see him again. Jamey Johnson opened for him and was fantastic as always. one of my favorites was the fiddle player with John Anderson and Jamey Johnson drummers challenging each other. Saw the drummers in June at Choctaw casino they were even better this time.

Didnt enjoy the concert at all. Poor lighting and sound. Overall disappointed with both artist.

I have seen better concerts recently. Maybe they are unfair comparisons. I even left before the encore.

I am sure happy that they left the best for last as per usual Jamey Johnson was ok and his more popular songs were great but slow song after slow song left me snoring early in the evening. John Anderson however knocked my socks off! And I have to add in there that his fiddle player is AMAZING. Over all I loved the Second half.

Overall the shows were just average and both of these guys have the potential of putting on a much better show. Jamey is excellent, but all he did is play song after song after song and did not even attempt to introduce his backup band members. No interaction with the crowd. The man has talent. The awards alone prove that. As for John Anderson I do not know if he was intoxicated or whatever, but he at least did acknowledge his band, and sang some oldies but goodies which the crowd appreciates. He really kept repeating buy his new CD somewhat akin to a infomercial. This could have been such a much greater show(s) if there was interaction with the crowd.

John and Jamey play real country music not the "Bro - pop - rap crap" that is on the radio today. Play me a song, tell me a story, make me feel happy, sad, loved or lost. Each song is different and unique, wonderful time. I go to a lot of shows, this is one of the best.

The Jamey Johnson / John Anderson concert was awesome. Jamey Johnson played a tremendous version of In Color which included a crowd sing along which was as loud as any I have ever heard. He also did covers of Merle Haggard an Hank Williams Jr. which were great. Closed with a tremendous version of I Saw the Light. I had never seen John Anderson live before and he did not disappoint. He played all of his hits and 3 songs from his new album. I was impressed by his energy. All in all this was an awesome show that I would highly recommend.

I had a smile on my face the whole time. He was very personable and entertaining. His singing sounded spot on.

I knew he was a great singer with a very distinctive voice, but seeing him live was even better.

He was Amazing....this guy can sing like no other! My husband typically doesn't care for country music but he had a good time at this concert. We were listening to his CD on the way over to Effingham IL, and I tell you, not a bit of difference with his live performance. GREAT TIME! Looking for other concerts close by.

We recently visited the EPC to see John Anderson and we sure weren't disappointed. It was a super show with all his big hits and some great new ones. We had great seats but then there really aren't any bad seats at the EPC. We are so lucky to have such a venue in our area!

The entire show was great! Had 3 opening acts for John Anderson all of them were good. The venue was awesome small and cozy. All of the employees were so very friendly and helpful.

The Costello's were great as was Mark Chessnut. John Anderson didn't come on until 10:45--way to late to really enjoy the show. Liked the Pharr Event Center.

The local band was very good. Mark Chesnutt was GREAT. He should have been the headliner. When John Anderson came on the stage someone turned up the sound so much that it was not bearable. It was distorted to the point i first thought maybe Anderson was on something and slurring his words. 3 songs into Anderson's set I, as well as several others, left the concert. To stay would have been painful. My suggestion is that if you get a chance to see Mark Chesnutt on stage you should make every effort to go. However, Anderson is a major disappointment.

The whole night was great! .... from the opening act, Costello. They were awesome! To Mark Chesnutt who was incredibly awesome...to John Anderson...wow! I'd see all three of them again in a heartbeat!

I really enjoyed the performenace having both performers on stage at once trading songs back and forth. The acoustics were great. The seats were fantastic. Awesome show. I would see it again and recommed it to my friends to see.

I would so go see them time and time again..they were AWESOME.. the way they did there show was so rare.they sounded great. Could hear And See perfect. Loved seeing two greats on one stage together! Wish show was longer!! And I could of stayed all night long listening to Tracy Lawrence sing! He's got a great new album!! Hope he swings back for a solo tour!

Very unique format with both being on stage at the same time and trading off performing their best songs. Their back up musicians were great, especially Tracy's fiddler. I was disappointed that they didn't introduce their musicians. We sang along with every song.

It was a great show. Too bad it was not a sell out. It was great just having John and Tracy on the stage to interact with each other.

I've been to over 100 concerts but I have never been to one quite like this. My seats were on the floor and well worth the price. All seats on the floor were round tables that were clothed with 10 seats per table. The sound and view was excellent. The openning act, Shenandoah was just great. All their legendary hits were performed and the lead singer sounded just as great as Marty Raybon did when he was the lead singer. I heard many of their hit songs I have not heard in years. The members of Shenandoah also signed autographs after their opening set prior to the main act. John Anderson performed all of his biggest hits. It was recommended that the stage could approached for dancing or watching the show standing at the stage which many people(including myself) took advantage of. Being this close allowed me to take great photos and I was able to shake John's hand as he passed by on several occasions. On on occasion I handed up a sharpie and cover sleeve of his CD Anthology, he looked down at me and said, "I can't sign that" which was a little disheartning as this was the first time I had ever been refused an autograph and of all people it was from the first person I ever heard on the radio and "my" biggest singing hero which I have admired for the past 30 years. The first song I ever heard on the radio was "Swingin'" when I was 6 years old and it was great to be 1 of 4 people he shook hands with during his performance of that song which took the sting out of being denied the autograph. I stood at the stage for most of his set and it sounded great, no matter where you were at in the arena. The Kansas Expo in Topeka, KS is a great place to see a show. For the price this this was well worth the money. My only wish would be that the older performers were more accessable/approachable. This was my 3rd time seeing my honkytonk hero and it had been 10 years since the last time I saw John Anderson perform. He still sounds just as good as ever. If you are a fan of John Anderson you should see him perform those hits live. It is great!

Great concert brought back old memories! Will see again if he returns!

He really put on a great Show. Bought the tickets for my Husband for Fathers Dad. He said it was one of the best shows we have seen so far. We think it was great that he was chosen for the Hall of Fame too.

Small, almost personal venue. Very enjoyable. We will be back.

GREAT CONCERT !!! I can not recommend this concert enough. John's unique and soulful voice is as strong as ever. He put everything he had into each of his song , not just going through the motions like some artists do . I forgot how many hits John Anderson has. I knew almost every song he sang . Even the 2 new songs were very strong and worthy of being included in this set list .The intimate hall venue and pared down band size really showed off John's great talent . If he comes to your town , do not hesitate to buy these tickets. John Anderson is country gold. Don't miss out. I am so glad I went!

Michele and I had a wonderful time at the John Anderson concert last weekend. The accustic show was outstanding from the opening number to the final curtain call number. He played his favorites and some great new songs as well. He received a well earned standing ovation from the appreciative crowd. The venue is also excellent for this type of show as there are really no bad seats in the room. Hope to return to the Scherr Forum to see additional shows in the future.

I really enjoyed the show. It was John and his friend/band member. They played Guitar and Dobro. He played most of his old hits and a few new ones. It's nice to just listen to the "artist singing" without all the hoopla....flashing lights ect. He told a few stories that made it a little more personal. He sounded great.

Pure talent when all there is, is a mic & a guitar.

When reading the reviews of his other shows I was excited, it seemed he put on quick a show & the ending song of Seminole Wind was by far the best song of the show. Unfortunately for this performance I didn't see that it was going to be an acoustic set. Honestly I probably wouldn't have bought tickets if I had known this before hand. His voice is beautiful although I think the production would have been much more with a band & a regular concert set up. The 2nd thing that was a disappointment was the venue. There was a bar inside the ballroom so people were constantly getting up. As you can imagine as with any venue the seating is cramped so having someone go past you consistently throughout the show can ruin it. They also did not tell people to put their phones away so in-between having ppl stand up and walk around there are flashes going off, bright phones being held up to take pictures. With as much of a legend as John Anderson is I would have thought the venue would have had more common sense and respect as to ask people to not have their phones out throughout the show. What a shame because this could have been a great show.

He got on stage right on time and sang and talked the entire time. Came out for one extra song at the end. Sounded excellent, and had a great personality. Great venue, all seats were a good view and it was warm and inviting. I would do this all over anytime, and would go to this venue anytime for anyone I liked in the least bit. John Anderson was terrific and I'm glad I got to see him.

This was a fabulous show. It was the first time I ever saw John Anderson in concert and I was not disappointed. He sounds as good as ever! The venue was small and intimate which made for a better concert.

ok only reason for 3 stars is John still sounds great.this was an accoustic set for an hour by him not what most of us call a concert..you know band with drums a base player lead guitar player and possibly a keyboardist tossed in there. i dont think Margarittaville did a good job of adversing the difference. im not a fan of paying full concert prices for an accoustic set.. not worth it and would rather know up front if this is going to be what the artist is doing. most likely would not have went had i known from the start.. disappointed to say the least

I love John Andersons music, but an hour long concert was not long enough! He has so many hits and only sang 4. He put on a good concert, but really should have been longer.

We had an absolute blast! His songs are just as good today as when he wrote them. I really hope he comes back so we can do it all over again. His concert set the tone for an amazing weekend away.

John Anderson's show was very good. He still has the voice to bring off his style and sound. What wasn't good, in my opinion and that of others we talked to, was the skill of his sound man. The sound level was way too high for the venue. I have a 40% hearing loss and even with my aids removed, it was loud. A poor technician spoiled what would have otherwise been an excellent concert.

John Anderson was great and so was his band! Awesome, awesome music. I will certainly go see him again if he should come back. Love that country music. Great show! Don't miss out on see John Anderson.

Both Pam Tillis & John Anderson did an outstanding job! Both have incredible voices and I feel are truly under-rated artists! They sound fantastic and really connect with the audience.
