First of all, the tix were so cheap that we were able to afford to sit in the 5th row, right next to the stage. I never thought I would be at a concert where I was too close to get a good picture. We were like 10 mins late so we missed part of Total. After that was Carl Thomas, who is still fine as hell and can really, really sing. He sounds exactly the same as back in the day (maybe even better) and it was obvious that he loves to sing and perform. Then 112 came out and they were awesome, dancing and signing at the same time like we all aren't 40 years old. Then 2 of the 112 dudes started to sing and boy they gave me chills. Next up was The Lox, which is who I really came to see. Styles, Sheek and Jada blew me away. They did a lot of the songs I really wanted to hear. And they also brought Juelz Santana with them. Then LIL KIM!!!!!!! She looked great, even with all the surgery. She was up there for a minute and even brought her daughter out. IMO Faith was the headliner but any of them could have been. They were all great. Faith does not look 44 years old. This was a long concert that started at 730pm and we didn't get out of there until 12:30. I started to get sleepy but it was worth every penny.

This was my first visit to Harrah's Block venue and it was great. There is a bar available not far away to get drinks if you like and the space was big enough for a concert yet small enough to feel intimate with the artist. Faith Evans put on an awesome show and I would most likely return for future events.

I was so excited to see this show. I have always been a donell jones fan! Well the concert was supposed to start at 9:00 and faith Evans didn't come out till 10:30... She was okay... She interacted with the audience and she sang really good!!! Well donell jones took forever to come out and he was not half as good as faith! He was the headliner and he sang about 5 songs and not even the whole song. He would sing a few bars and switch songs.... It definitely was not worth the price of tickets, gas , parking or the hype!!!!! The drinks were the best things about the whole night... And that's a real shame!!!!

Faith hasn't released an album in five years and her return made it seem like she never left the scene. Her new album "Something About Faith" is a mature album and shows her growth as an artist. Welcome Back Ms. Dunaway!

I definitely expected a lot more for the price of these tickets. Total was by far the best act of the night!! I was not impressed with the venue at all! Rude staff at every corner. The mics kept going out. The performers were clearly annoyed with the conditions. There was at least 15 minutes of just DJ music between performers. Not impressed with that either. It was obvious that Black Rob did not want to be there. Mase's performance was Okay...

The show featured artists: Total, Black Rob, Carl Thomas, Mase, and Faith Evans. There were technical difficulties all night with the sound and with microphones not working, etc. Total was missing one of their members but Pam performed her heart out. Black Rob was an absolute hot mess. Indistinguishable, zero energy, and poor appearance. Just walked around the stage mumbling with black shades, a hat on, and a hoodie over his head. The crowd actually was boooing. Carl Thomas came out well dressed and ready to perform. He sings live very well. MASE is the reason I bought tickets to the show. He did not disappoint. Always loved him in the late 90's/early 00's and never had the chance to see him perform. He came out on that stage like an explosion. Sang so many of my favorites and kept the energy up the whole time, dancing around the stage, great hype man. The crowd was going crazy. Great job Ma$e! Faith closed the show. She looks great and sounded great. Disappointed "I'll be missing you" wasn't performed at this Bad Boy reunion show, especially after constant mentions of BIG and his lyrics were played.

Awesome show! But Total needs to remember where they are (they kept shouting out to Raleigh instead of Durham) and they could have left Black Rob off the venue.

The event itself was spectacular. I found myself entertained in a very huge way. Sheryl Lee Ralph really knows how to keep the crowd engaged. I can see why Divas Simply Singing has been running for 25 years. The fact that it was for a great cause, AIDS/HIV, was an added bonus. However, the staff of the venue, The Dell, left more to be desired. They were rude and very curt. They were even ill mannered to the performing acts. I honestly have never attended a concert where the staff acted this way.

The concert was very good overall. Kelly,Faith and Angela where very good. Carrol Riddick was outstanding and I would have loved hearing more songs from her. There were a couple acts I could have done without but it was still very enjoyable. We asked staff to talk to the camera man about blocking our view but they were no help.

This was one of the best events of music I have ever experienced. Sheryl Lee Ralph kept you entertained while maintaining a seem less flow of incredible voices. The lineup was top notch - Faith Evans, Kelly Price, Angela Wimbush and Melba Moore (Amazing). I was introduced to a Philadelphia local Carol Riddick who reminds me of Minny Riperton - her voice is inspirational. Algebra Blessett won the crowd over with her vocal skills even though most had never heard of her. The people I haven't named were also vocal champions. I honestly thought I had my money's worth half way into the show. Worth you time, worth yourmoney and worth your spirit.

I thought ALL of the performers were great! However, Faith Evans was the headliner and she was rushed. She explained that the other performers went over their performance time, but she would do her best to deliver her portion of the concert. This did not happen. Faith had to stop in the middle of the song and move on to other songs to complete her show--this should not happen. I came to see Faith Evans--not nearly 60 minutes of Carl Thomas. The concert started too late.

Thoroughly enjoyed all the performers, and I thought they did a great selection of all their songs, including the most popular ones which everyone wants to hear anyways! The only thing I disliked was the sound quality at the venue, but that had nothing to do with the artist and more to do with the poor sound engineering.

I really enjoyed the concert. Carl Thomas sounded great and had good energy. Ma$e still got it. Even though he was a pastor and stepped away from the music scene, he still was able to come back and do what he does best. He took me back to my EMU days with his posters scattered around my dorm room. "Why you over there looking at me while my girl standing here!" As for 112, the microphones were horrible. It seemed like only two of the singers had good mics but the other two did not. It was hard to hear the harmony due to this issue. As for DaRon, he was feeling himself, feeling himself. I get it...they are finally back together after his departure several years ago, but all that Michael Jackson moving and trying to be all 'over the top' was not necessary. I think he should have just flowed with the others. Finally, Faith Evans was great. Them vocals are a beast. I was so shocked to see her so small. Whatever she did to do that, I want just a little bit of it cause she was looking good. I'm saddened that her set was cut short, but a real singer, like herself, kept going until she had to be forced off. She gave her fans their money worth. I am so happy to have been at the concert. I wish Total, Craig Mack, Black Rob, Loon, the Lox, 8 Ball and MJG, Yung Joc, Day 26 and Danity Kane were also on the roster. Shoot, Diddy should have been there as well. Maybe a tour will be on horizon...Bad Boy for Life!

The show was pretty fair. Faith Evans, Carl Thomas, and Mase were wonderful, but I was disappointed in the group 112. Their voices were off fading in and out and I was sitting very close where I could see and hear everthing. Maybe they need some voice lessons before they start the reunion tour.

This was by far one of the best concerts I've attended. From the opening act of Carl Thomas to the closeout performing with Faith Evans, this concert did not disappoint. There was not a dull moment and the Carl Thomas, Mase, 112 add-on made the concert even more amazing. All of my favorite acts from the 1990s. I was somewhat disappointed in the fans for leaving early. Faith was cut short on her performance time because the show was running behind. I hated to see her rush through her catalog to get all of her hits out, but the show was worth it. She is an awesome all around artist - singer and song writer and she put on an awesome show. The only negative was the ushers were annoying. Concert-goers in the front rows began to leave early (so disrespectful to the artist). As a true fan of the artist, I wanted to show her love and enjoy the show, not be bothered by the people leaving early and move closer. I did and of course it was a problem, but worth the hassle! I love FAITH!

Divas Simply Singing was an amazing show. All I can say for a 40.00 ticket, I got great seats (3rd row), and a Line-up out of this world. The show started at 8pm, and was literally over at midnight. The Host, the Grand Diva Ms.Sheryl Lee Ralph is still the original Dream Girl. She gave the show humor, class, & Hollywood glam.. I appreciate that Ms.Ralph has dedicated her life to a foundation that supports the issues of HIV & AIDS in the community and around the world. You had Real Sangers, Not Singers.. Angela Winbush, Me'lisa Morgan, Kelly Price, Faith Evans. Melba Moore, Alyson Williams, Monifah, and many more....

Artist that used pre-recorded music were disrespecting fans by doing so. Ovens Auditoriums's speakers sounded busted. This impacted the overall sound quality of the music. Even though Lil Mo used pre-recorded music, her vocals still shined. Despite the speaker failures, Total turned it out with great vocals and talent. They should have been the headliners. Toned kept us laughing and helped us to stay motivated even through the busted speaker system at Ovens. Left before Faith's performance had concluded as my ears and head could not take any more of the bad speaker system at Oven's. Overall, Ovens needs to update their system or they will lose many returning fans.

Although Keisha from Total and Q from 112 weren't there it was a great show! Faith proved why she's the headliner with a great set of songs and humor. I just LOVE Faith Evans!! There were no opening acts nor DJ to keep the crowd pumped until Faith performed which was a downer...but there were so many Faith fans in the audience, when she came out with energy...we forgot all about the wait!! Faith looks great to have been on a hiatus and a recent new mommie again. Her voice is amazing live....she is so intimate with the audience, periodically shouting out repeat fans in the audience who frequent her shows. She even touched my finger tips once and made sure she "worked" the crowd. I just love her down to earth personality and her voice....make sure you catch her and support her new CD just released.....

Faith came on stage an hour late and only performed 30 minutes. She apologized about her all of her band members not being there. Faith lied about that because after the show was over, the band members played at the venue around the corner. The songs she sung sounded great however the amount of time that she stayed on stage was ridiculous for the price that I paid. If she knew she was not going to be on stage the entire time, she should have gotten someone to open up for her. I know she could have performed at least 1.5 hours because she does have more than one album. She did not sing all of her songs either. I was looking forward to hearing her sing mesmerized and biggies tribute. I think we as paying consumers deserve either a full refund or at least partial. It is not our fault for the reasons for her being late. If she was not going to do what was set in motion, she should have cancelled and rescheduled. I will never come see her again in concert. Not unless she is opening up for someone. Big disappointment and I laughed when my godbrother told me he wouldn't pay to see her because she was just a back up singer. Ha! Look who aint laughing now!

Carl Thomas was on point and I wasn't even interested in seeing him. Mase was awesome. 112 showed their butts! I love them even more now. Faith is my baby. She was beautiful. All of their voices were true to their records and blew me away in person. I had a lot of fun. Chene park drinks were on point as well

The show was awesome. All of these artists should still be running the charts today!!! P Diddy need to put more focus on these artists and get back in the studio and make that magic happen again!!!!

This was a great show! I was not too thrilled about Lil' Mo and Horace Brown replacing Carl Thomas and 112, but I was thoroughly satisfied. A few sound glitches got in the way but this was quickly cleared up. I definitely would see this show again!

Really disappointed that Carl Thomas cancelled out at the last minute. 112 cancelled out a few weeks before the show. That kind of ruined it for me.....But it was still good to see Total and Faith. You can throw Lil Mo in the equation too as she has a couple hits and very down to earth. They put on a really good show and sang alot, if not all of those classic hits from the 90s that we all remember and paid for the tickets to hear. Decent show, but for the $70 to sit in the balcony, not sure I would ever do that again unless the entire former Bad Boy Crew would be there.

I really enjoyed Faith Evans performance. I've always wanted to see her in concert, she's my favorite R & B Star. I would see her again if she came back to Charlotte. I was disapointed because Carl Thomas wasn't there... I really wanted to see him also.

Great to see some performers I grew up listening to. Total, faith and lil-mo were great. I must say I wish Carl Thomas and 112 would've been there. Carl Thomas cancelled two days before the show replaced with Horace Brown. 112 would have been perfect behind total. The flow was a little off and production just wasn't that great. I will say with a full cast and better production this could be one of the best tours. They gave it their all and seemed very appreciative of us being there.

Total performed well! 112 and Carl Thomas did not show up at all! I was very disappointed with that because these tickets were not cheap!! Faith Evans performance was awesome however her sound from the auditorium was awful!! I was not impressed by Ovens they were constantly running on and off the stage during the performances. Faith even got upset about the sound but she did we'll and worked with what she had! You paid money to see everybody but many did not show.. Why not? But I was happy because the folks that did perform did well!!

This concert was definitely a deception. When you pay over $80 per ticket you expect live music from ALL artists. Faith is the only act that had BGVs and a live band. The sound was horrible. Total was calculated wrong they only had 2 members and a drummer. There are no words to express how dissapointed I was to have spent my Valentine/Anniversary there. I should have known this was a bootleg concert when one of the artist on the ticket changed right before the show.

I attended this concert with my mate on Valentine's Day and had a higher expectations than the results I received from this event. First, there was a last minute line-up change which placed artists in the line-up with very few hits in the 90's. The group Total was missing the lead singer "Keshia". If it wasn't for Pam's high energy, Total's set would've been a complete bust. The sound was horrible. Faith had to interrupt her set to walk off stage and ask for the sound to be fixed to her liking. The artist that replaced Carl Thomas (who I googled was in another stated performing on the exact same day), Horace Brown, even complained about the sound and he only had two hits in the '90s. The music over powered the vocals and the back drop displayed "Season's Greetings" when Lil Mo performed her set (the first artist on stage). This was not what we were expecting. I would've had a better time at home watching a movie and eating popcorn. Very disappointed! Especially with the money I spent and the results I received.

This review is not against Faith Evans, Total or Lil Mo. BUT, the venue was not that bad as most reviews state it was, I was in the balcony section and you could still see pretty good, later moved down to closer seats. The sound crew was AWEFUL, they messed up everyone's sound, the artist could not hear the music, but for the audience the music was over powering. In Faith Evans first song, she cut it short to tell the sound tech's to fix the music. Not only that, they were running on the stage every 2 seconds. Total killed the stage!!! A lot of energy, and performed most of their hits + sounded good! Faith sounded good too, just her sound was off due to the technicians. I would recommend seeing Faith and Total. Also, this production seemed more like a talent show than concert. Although ToneX was an awesome host, it seemed the other comedian was a bit amateurish, as well as the local talent they brought out who was horrible and some kid from broadway. The transitions to the next artist were not smooth, and Horace Brown was dreadful, he would not get off the stage, I wouldn't pay $1 to go see him perform ever again. I honestly feel everyone who attended this concert should get half their money back. To sit in the balcony it was $132 to sit on the bottom level it was $199 for two tickets.

I feel sorry for Faith Evans. She literally has to carry the entire show because the opening acts have no stage presence!!!! There isn't one of the artist that opened I would even recommend. ...Just terrible. ..

When I first purchased the tickets it was supposed to be 112, total , Carl Thomas and faith Evans so I was very excited ...not to mention I flew out from New York to see this concert...well two days before the show I receive an email that Carl Thomas is being replaced with Horace Brown , someone I'm not too familiar with. Then as I am heading to N.C I find out 112 Is going to be in ny and I didnt even find out from the ticket people themselves! So anyway I was two rows back from the stage and the sound was terrible the speaker kept screeching and making unpleasant sounds and was just not right the people kept coming om stage while people are singing and like moving the equipment around so it was distracting and also as soon as 11pm hit they cut faith Evans mic off in the middle of a song and basically that was it...so to everyone do not go to a concert unless your in ny ...it was not a good experience ...did not enjoy it at all

Venue: the Saban theatre is a great venue for shows. I had a front, center upper loge seating. The view was perfect! Parking: I parked in the below ground parking structure of the Flynt Publication building across the street for $10. The price is reasonable, but you must bring your patience when leaving. Exiting takes a while as each car must go through one at a time (arm bar must raise and lower for each car). Artists Total: Thought it was disappointing not to see all three ladies perform, Kima and Pam did hold it down!! They brought great energy! I'm not sure what those ladies have been up to, but they looked exactly (perhaps even a bit better) that they did when they came out in the 90's! Pam's six pack and guns made so many jealous!! I was so not mad at her! They both rocked their all white attire!! Not sure who the man on the drum kit was, but he sounded almost as good as he looked! Talented eye candy was appreciated!! Go on sexy drummer guy (whoever you were). It was nice to see Kisha come to the stage at the end. Not sure why she didn't/couldn't perform, but it was good to see her. Total got the show off to a great start! Carl Thomas: He sounded great! He was a "one man show." There was no live band, no back up dancers, just Carl and the music. I liked the simplicity and he did hold his own. Mase: I thought Mase was great! High energy songs and those nostalgic 90's songs! I'm not sure what was going on between Mase and the DJ, but there seemed to be some clear disconnections. Mase seemed a bit frustrated as it appeared the DJ was randomly adjusting the music and not the liking of Mase. There was one point where Mase told him to, "Leave the song alone, man!" Despite the visible miscues, he was still good! Faith: I've been a "Faithful" since the first album! I had never seen her in concert and was excited to hear her. I thought she looked and sounded good. The mixture of pre-recorded and live music in the very beginning sounded a bit odd, but it seemed to get corrected after the first couple of songs. Faith clearly has life-long fans. There were many times I could hear them singing along with her (me included). Love for Faith was abundantly clear! Overall, the show as quite good. It has some very clear Christian overtones (to put it mildly). I thought it was great, but if you are not Christian, it could be awkward.

The acoustics are not set for a loud concert at the Saban. However Carl Thomas as amazing. As he stated 12 years later and he sounds and looks the same. The trio Total which appeared as a duo, they held there own there was never much talent there to begin with, yet they were entertaining. Mase in his usual awkward way held it down. He had everyone on there feet, it became a real party when he really got into his set. Finally the woman I went to see... FAITH EVANS. The music was tooooo damn loud. When she hit her high notes it was painful to my ear drums. People were leaving prior to the end of her set. She took a break to freshin up and came back in the same tired as red dress and cheap boots. She song a slow dragging set and finally tried to get up beat for the last number. She ended abruptly. She said she wouldn't talk a lot because she had five albumbs to cover, yet didn't do a lot of her major hits. She let me down and I would not see her again in concert. She is a better studio singer.
