I was a little disappointed not to hear a lot of my favorites. The Christmas theme was very pretty, but had been saving up all year and had anticipated hearing all my favorites. Also missed Neil, who had a family illness, but do understand. Next year, will not plan on concert if it is at Christmastime.

This show was BEYOND amazing. Celtic Thunder always blows me away but this was the best I've ever seen. Although we still miss George, Paul and Keith - the new additions held their own - which was pleasantly surprising. You do NOT have to like 'Irish' music to completely enjoy this ensemble. Even when they are singing a song you may not recognize or in Gaelic, they are mesmerizing. The Chicago Theatre is my #1 destination for entertainment. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that EVERYTHING is just right for you. I took my 88 year old mother to this concert - mis-thinking that the seats were elevator accessible - FYI, the Loge section is NOT elevator accessible - the Customer Services representative, Kyle, immediately offered to upgrade our seats to main floor due to the stairs my mom would have to climb. We politely declined as we were front row in LOGE but who knew where on main floor - I'm very particular about where I sit. During intermission Kyle came to check on us - basically to make sure that my mom did not have to use the ladies room or get up and stretch her legs. He then showed up after the concert to help escort my mom back down the stairs. AMAZING! I/We have never been treated so well anywhere we have gone - no matter who we were going to see.

The music was wonderful the energy of the performers was amazing. Their voices are beautiful. I was there with my sister, daughter, and grandson and we all had the best time ever. I can hardly wait till they come again I will definitely be there with my family. I love how they interjected humor in this concert.

I did like both Act 1 and Act 2 some of them more than others. In the first Act I missed the harmony and interaction between all 5 of the Thunder and would have liked to see more of that and less of others. Most of the music was very powerful and I did enjoy that but it was not what I expected and what really attracted me to them in the first place. In Act 2 I was glad to hear more of the songs I was expecting especially when the 5 sing together. I like each performer as as individual but they really come alive when they sing together. I also like more of the Celtic Sound and not as much the showtime sound. Not that they did not do it well it was wonderful but I like their sound on the more Celtic Songs I do know my feelings were my personal preference and would I go see them again in these shows Yes I would but I prefer their original sound.

From the very beginning of the "STORM" (inc the refined version of Heartland) I was captivated! Constantly wondering what was going to happen next!! Olde World Gypsy's galore in the first act!! Then the 2nd act back to our debonair lads!!! Paul can tap dance!!! WHO KNEW?! GO PAUL!!!! Ryan w/ Bad Bad Leroy Brown....HOT!!!!!! Keith's Surfer medley...who knew he could play an electric guitar that well!!!!! George strutting his stuff around that set being the "daddy of them all"!!!!! & Damian finally getting to grow up!!!! A HUGE round of applause to both Sharon & Phil for the creativeness of the show from start to finish!!! Thank you for allowing us fans to take part in such an adventure!!!

Sharon Browne and Phil Coulter have done it again, they said that they were going to take a risk and raise the bar and they have done that and exceeded it. Act One was a tale of gypsies, settlers, coming of age, and finding yourself. It was filled with new songs written specifically for this as well as old songs re-worked masterfully to tell the riveting tale of life in old times. Act Two was more of a show tune based set with songs that most of us know and love. It also showcases dancing by both the performers and backed up with riveting dancers. The soloists showed us that they are much more than just singers with this show, but that they are full out entertainers. The sets are skillfully created to enhance the show. As always the band really enhanced the show and kept us entertained.

We've always been told that Celtic Thunder is more of a show than a group, and Storm took this statement to the next level, with an elaborate set, multiple back up dancers, more intense choreography, and full out costumes and props to help tell the story of each of the vocalists', musicians', and dancers' characters (please note that there were male and female participants in each category) . This is not "The Show 2.0". While we were expecting one brand new show, what we didn't realize is that those of us lucky enough to make the trek to Toronto got to see the simultaneous world premier and filming of not one new show, but two! The fact that each of the two acts were different shows, "Storm" and "Showtime!", explains the huge difference between the two acts. "Storm" was musical theater. Extensive choreography, multiple backup singers and dancers, and a massive and intricate set (complete with trees, one of which was climbed by a few of the vocalists and another that was accidentally toppled by one of the vocalists during the second act of the first night's filming) give Celtic Thunder a chance to show off their musical talents while literally bringing a story and their characters to life before the audiences eyes. I personally spent most of this act with my mouth slightly ajar, trying to take it all in. It will be fun to see the recorded "Storm" special when it comes out. Even attending both nights of the filming, I'm sure I missed some of the small details. "Showtime!" had a different stage setup, one that looks more familiar to what Celtic Thunder fans have seen previously, and different costumes, and some flashy dance moves to fit with the theme! This show is easy to get the audience into, and it was non stop fun. I know that I can not wait to get the cd that will have these songs recorded on it. The personalities of the vocalists really shine through, and the songs that were picked for them were chosen wonderfully. What was extra fun was watching the performers linger on the set before and after their pieces to help secure the setting. Favorites from "Storm": Outside Lookin' In, Not the One, Stand and Deliver, This Was My life, Look at Me, and Hail the Hero (No Ghile Mear). Favorites from "Showtime!": Home, My Life with You, Hallelujah, Standing on the Corner, Bad Bad Leroy Brown, Surfer Melody, Doo Wacka Doo, and Still Haven't Found What I'm Lookin' For.

Celtic Thunder STORM was the most breathtakingly amazing show I have ever seen! If you didn't love them before, you will love them now! It was like watching a Broadway show. Phil Coulter wrote absolutely wonderful music and lyrics for this show. Each piece was more perfect than the one before. Act I was set in medieval Ireland, with 2 clans who are both claiming ownership to their land. Ryan Kelly as leader of the "gypsies"was amazing, covering the stage in leaps and bounds. Paul Byrom was wonderful portraying the romantic who had not yet found his true love. George Donaldson was endearing as the steadfast elder, who had experienced love, loss and renewal in his life. Keith Harkin as the dashing highwayman....need I say more? Damian McGinty, as the young man coming into his own, crying out to be heard, expressed a new maturity. A surprise was Neil Byrne, guitar player extraordinaire, who added his beautiful voice to the harmonies. Neil was outstanding in Hallelujah! The second half of the show was completely different, but just as entertaining. Dressed in black suits, Celtic Thunder blew us all away again. Each man had new songs and there were new ensembles, as well as a few old favorites, like Ireland's Call. If you have the opportunity, go see this show. You will not be disappointed!

I was disappointed in our seats, since they were presale I thought they would be better but when I ordered them, there was no available seating chart to check online. The 1/2 half of the show was something completely different, I guess Phil Coulter was testing the groups abilities, but it sure was different. The 2nd half of the show was absolutely excellent, I think thats what the audience was waiting for!!! Can't wait for the taping to be aired on TV, can't wait to see them live again. My 4 year old daughter has a thing for Damian!!!

The new Celtic Thunder Storm show is amazing! A more talented group of performers can't exist on this earth! Act One of the show was like a Broadway Musical with all but one all new songs. The set and costumes were incredible and there was a huge cast of dancers and singers. Act Two of the show was a more "traditional" Celtic Thunder concert. There were so many high points in the show that it is impossible to list them all here. I would recommend this show to anyone who enjoys music. I promise you will be blown away by the Storm!

If you are looking for a concert, this is not it. If you are looking for a variety of amazing entertainment and incredible music, they this is the show you want to see. Act 1 is like a Broadway musical and tells the story of the poor settlers and gypsies in Ireland pulled together with inventive songs and dancing. Act 2 is "showtime" a cabaret of sorts. Lots of different kinds of music, 40's, pop, rock. surf, and a Celtic ballad. Look for some great tunes we all know, and add a little tap dance in there. Great fun!

I love these Lads, have since I laid eyes on them on PBS a year ago. This was their new show, and the producers went in a different direction for the first act- musical drama. The second act was more what I thought it would be- singing, a little dancing, but a lot of personality from each of them in their own way.

Only 1 complaint, which was shared by many people sitting around me -- mostly women, of course! There were 3 solo performances by women in Act One of STORM. We went to see Celtic Thunder -- in my case, I drove 300 miles to see my 4th Celtic Thunder concert -- perform, and only Celtic Thunder perform! As back-up artists, the women were great! It was a great new concept for the show; I loved it, except for my one issue, which was shared by many other fans who attended this concert!

I waited for the next airing on TPT(here in MPLS-St. Paul) and I was blown away!!(I also bought the DVD!) I decided that I wanted to see this group live.... I bought my tickets, the night of the concert at Target Center....(I was supposed to be working in St. Paul at the Xcel Energy Center for KDWB'S Jingleball...) I took my friend Christine with me.. had SO MUCH FUN!!!! I spent SO MUCH money, but it was worth it! I can't wait to see these awesome gentlemen in MPLS, again on Oct. 29th!! I was fortunate to see them on WSFU - public TV; and then they came into town (Tampa, Florida) almost a year later - I can't tell you how beautiful the experience it was - you root for IRELAND when they sing "brother's in arms"; you cry; and feel overwhelmingly the love they have for thier homeland, they truely are a blessing for any age to listen too. I went and saw the "Celtic Women" and although they sing beautifully they didn't move me and my husband, or son as I expected them too. So now I am taking my son to see them for his 29th birthday; Culture in today's times is important to cultivate with beautiful music and wonderful entertainer's and they are all this and much more! Please come back to Tampa soon! But until then I will go to St. Petersburg, Florida to see you again.

Saw them on PBS then in person last December in Mpls. FANTASTIIC!! I have been playing the cd over and over and was overjoyed to hear they are going to be in Mpls, again this October. I saw a few minutes of the new show on PBS (would have watched it all if I had known it was on at that time) and can't wait to go again. Damian has grown so much since the first show but his singing is still great!

We were very lucky to be at an event that they were at in 2008 & I had only seen the PBS show at that time once. They were better (which I couldn't believe could be possible) in person!!!! Their voices are remarkable & showmanship is fantastic. They kid around with each other which makes it even more appealing! Sharon & Phil, you've certainly outdown yourselves this time! I can't get enough of them! I have the DVD & both CD's & watch & listen whenever I can. My 3 grandsons who are 6,5 & 4 pretend they're the guys & know every word & action. They even talked me into getting them a Bodhran (small) so they can be the Bodran guy. They're so cute to watch. The 6 year old is taking drum lessons & knows every beat for the 2 drummers for "Heartland", "Irelands Call" & "Raggle Taggle Gyspy". He loves Phil Coulter & has me watch him as Phil conduting the orchestra. I did buy them the DVD, & their parents are watching them at home with it. I cannot say enough about what great joy these wonderful young entertainers have brought into our lives. Thank you so very much!

I was lucky enough to see Celtic Thunder twice in the Fall of 2008 - in Kansas City at the Sprint Center and in Denver at the Wells Fargo theatre. The music and the lads are absolutely amazing. I started following them in April 2008 when I first saw them on PBS - now I am a confirmed "Thunderhead" and anxiously await any news and new recording. I am hoping to see the Fall 2009 show in Denver. The music touches you in a very special way - and the men are "REAL" - as we have come to know them, they are great friends. Definately - I reommend Celtic Thunder "Take Me Home".

I saw Celtic Thunder when they came to Denver, CO and it was amazing. By the time I saw them in person I already knew all the songs and who sang them. I had been by introduced to this production by PBS and have become a "Thunderhead" and then some. I have just seen the "Take Me Home" preview and once again they have produced a fantastic event. I think they provide wholesome, uplifting music that should put a smile on everyone's face and a jig in everyone's feet. THEY ARE THE BEST!!! Would recommend this to everyone.

This is simply one of the best shows I have ever seen. It is very family friendly, so those of you who would like to expose your children to the musical arts, this is a great place to do so. With original songs and covers that we all know and love there is truly something for everyone. I do not think there is an other show with as much diversity in the music being presented at this show either. there is folk, classical, and modern music all brought to one stage. I would recommend anyone of any age or taste in music giving this group a try, you will be surprised.

This is the second time I have seen the incredible men making up Celtic Thunder. This time it was the Christmas Show followed by a medley of well known American hits and some really amazing Irish songs. This group truly is gifted and a complete pleasure to see live. Their voices blend seamlessly when singing group numbers and each has a uniqueness when singing a solo. Overall I am so impressed by them and I would recommend them to everyone. The only downside is that Paul Byrom is leaving the group and will be greatly missed. Thanks for the show!!!

Don't get me wrong, the Irish Lads are great.....but not so much this show. I was a bit disappointed in the song selection for this show. I was expecting more familiar Irish songs. The "Irish Lullabye", " Molly Malone", "A Little Bit of Heaven", "My Wild Irish Rose", to name a few. "It's Entertainment" DVD had other songs that were not performed in the show because the "extras" (singers & dancers) were not brought along on the tour. "Danny Boy" was listed in the program but was not performed. What a shame since the guys do a fantastic job singing it acapella. My wife and I have seen 6 Celtic Thunder shows, including this one. We live in Indiana and have traveled to Illinois, Iowa and Michigan and have seen them in Indiana too. The show is good family entertainment. The guys all have wonderful voices and we have enjoyed watching Damian grow up on stage.

The first half of the program was such an entertaining of mix of Celtic vocals and instrumental pieces. Enjoyed so much hearing the individual voices in solos as well. After intermission, the change to more "American" selections was unexpected and, so appreciated. Their talent demonstrates a wide versatility! Loved the "oldies" like the Beach Boys, Neil Diamond, etc., selections. The Laddies were fantastic in their kilts and the Lassies were beautiful in their gowns. Totally enjoyable performance.

What a difference a year makes! The singers and musicians of Celtic Thunder have developed into a truly awesome force. The tense newness of a year ago was gone and all the performers seemed to be having a great time. It was a special treat to see Brendan Monaghan. He was missing last year when Celtic Thunder played the Times Union Center. The show was about two hours long with a 15 minute intermission. The performance was made up of 30 songs from the group's three albums. The big surprise was Damian's voice; it's going deep! This is a show for every age. Just a note that all types of photography and ringing cell phones were strickly prohibited at this venue.

The lads of Celtic Thunder put on a great show! They were funny, lively, and energetic. Their wide selection of songs, from classic folk tunes like Danny Boy, to their covers of modern hits is sure to have something for every taste. Plus, who can resist a man in a kilt?

I learned about Celtic Thunder in 2008. I instantly went out and bought their music. I honestly never thought I would catch one of their tours, because any time I heard about them coming to the US, I was too late. My sister found out a couple months ago about this concert (I got her hooked onto the music as well lol), and we immediately bought tickets. I had the most incredible night watching them with my husband and sister. My mother and grandmother even agreed to watch all of the kids for the whole night! This was the first time that all three of us had ever been out together without any kids. So thank you for helping that come to fruition. And thank you for an amazing night.

Theater was nice, the guys were awesome talented and funny! One "song" with Damian, Neil and Ryan was just.......I don't think I have EVER heard an audience laugh so long or so loud. Michael O'Dwyer is a delight and very easy on the eyes. Emmet is always a heart stopper! Hoping for an awesome new show next year. Only down thingwas missing the whole orchestra and that was greatly missed. Oops, one other thing was missing.....Declan 's HAIR!

Amazing. Spectacular. Inspiring. Best night out ever! I LOVE Celtic Thunder and the Fox Performing Arts Center was the perfect place to see them for the first time. I was lucky enough to do the VIP Artist Event as well and the staff was so helpful and nice. The VIP room was beautifully set up and we were able to take pictures without a lot of distractions or furniture in the way. Thank you for a very memorable night.

This group, vocals and musicians, seem to truly love and enjoy what they are doing. They make you laugh, cry, and stay totally captivated throughout the concert. Totally enjoyed it. We left our home in Austin as quickly as we could which was unfortunately 5:30. Between the horrific Friday traffic from Austin to San Antonio and then convention center traffic as soon as we exited downtown plus a full parking garage, we ended up running like crazy people several blocks through downtown San Antonio laughing with excitement the whole way arriving 15 minutes late and huffing like we'd just finished a marithon! Ha! They scanned our tickets and we rounded the corner to hear Keith singing "The Mountains of Mourne" and all the stress of running late melted with his beautiful voice. When he finished singing, the usher escorted us to our fabulous seats on the 6th row much to the surprise of my two teenage daughters who couldn't stop smiling. Needless to say, we didn't want the evening to end so we got a DVD and put it in our car player and sang all the way home. It was a great way to stay awake. We are sad we missed the first 15 minutes but what we saw just makes us want to see them live again. Thank you!!!!

Song selections for the concert was spot on, some new arrangements since Emmett and Damian are with the group-just loved the entire show. Their energy was catching since it was the first show of the tour. They just seemed to be relaxed and having a good time.

I had the best night filled with holiday cheer in the Chicago Theatre! Every note these guys sing is spot on. The music by the Metropolis Symphony Orchestra was just beautiful and well directed by conducter David Brophy and CT's Musical director David Munro. I loved that there was more interaction coming from stage toward the audience then previous concerts of Celtic Thunder I visited. Who doesn't want to listen to these Irish accents all night while they sing and chat :) Always love the banter going on. Great holiday song selection and spectacular finish with all time Irish favorite Irelands Call! Would go again in a heartbeat if I could.... But I am from the Netherlands so it will have to wait ;) The theater itself is breathtaking although the orchestra seating is incredibly close to the stage (knees almost touching it) which will give you a difficult angle to watch the show. I recommend Celtic Thunder in general but most definately this Symphony show to you all!

We have been to many "CT" shows, This one slightly lacked the big punch for us. Possibly just the song choices, not sure but still a good show for the ticket price.

The Celtic Thunder Concert was my dream come true. I have been waiting for this night since I was in 6th grade, when the group first started. The concert completely exceeded my expectations. I got the tickets for my sweet sixteen birthday present and brought my friend along with me. We missed our homecoming dance to be able to come and we would do it any day. We can't to hear the new songs and are so excited for the next tour!!!!

After seeing Celtic Thunder for the first time with my Nephew, Monday night. I would have to say that it was absolutely the best show that I have ever seen. The guys gave an Outstanding performance and shared some in site to the group and some personal as well. After listening to their CD's and then seeing them live, there are no words to say how good they are. And after the show, my Nephew and I waited outside the venue for them. Though it was a school night for my Nephew, we stayed til about 11pm and was able to get our pictures taken with Colm and Emmet and they even signed their autographs for me. I really wish that the other guys could have been out earlier but having two is better then none. I would really recommend to people to see them in concert, after listening to their CD's. OVERALL I WOULD GIVE THIS 200%.

Once again, the gentlemen from across the pond put on a tremendous show. Just songs, one after another with no sspecial frills. That's the way I like it. And of course they end with Ireland's Call standing before us in their kilts, where the audience awaits the "twirl".

I would recommend that this show be seen. These guys put on a wonderful, energetic, creative and very special show. Not only are the songs charming and mystical, but the atmosphere will take you back to another time. One will totally appreciate the hard work and dedication that has gone into a show like this. Celtic Thunder continues the enchanting journey between what life was like "back then" and what it is now. Emotions run high with this show. Thank you to all who are responsible for bringing Celtic Thunder to "life". I can't wait to see them again!

This was the best music on any channel of television to watch on Christmas day, these 5 gentleman have the voices of angles and have won my heart. I could listen to them forever and a day. I have never heard anyone that could sing like this in all of my life, and I have heard a lot of people. Keep up the great work, if I had a one dream to meet a group of singers before I passed away this would be the group I would like to meet. Fantastic is all I can say......Maybe one day they will come to Alaska so my wish will actually happen.

I loved how the first half of the show was dedicated to Christmas, but the last half was for their traditional songs. I liked the "You've Got a Friend In Me" song where Keith kept nudging Daniel away like he was annoyed with him. You could see that big brother/little brother kind of camaraderie throughout the show. Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie needs to train their camera operators so they know how to zoom in on the person actually singing. For those of us sitting up high, we depended on the screens to see who was singing and often the camera was zoomed in on a set prop or someone who wasn't singing or the musician who wasn't playing! They had the same problem when Celtic Woman performed there.

I saw Celtic Thunder twice in one week. The concert at the Greek Theatre was fantastic, and memorable. Celtic Thunder's music truly touches the soul. Every one of the performers, from the singers to the band, gives all their energy to the performance. And, they radiate with happiness. They fed off the crowd. The more enthusiastic the crowd was, the better the guys were. I took a friend, a musician who has performed with a number of big name acts. And, she's seen a number of singers live, and often been disappointed. She wasn't disappointed with Celtic Thunder. In fact, they turned her into a fan with the beautiful songs and their charisma. It was truly a memorable concert, and I'd recommend it to all ages. It's a combination of Celtic and popular songs. The singers bring their own personalities to the covers of popular songs, and make it their own.

A large group of us went to see them, and while I understand one of the members "had an emergency back home" we were expecting more Irish songs than Christmas songs. It seemed like they really didn't want to be there and couldn't wait to leave. Sorry but that is how I felt. Thanks.

Do to the emergency in Neil's family he had to return to Ireland a week before the concert and instead of reassigning his portion of the music and concert they just cut the show about an hour short. I paid for a 2 hour or more worth of music and songs and only received an 1 and a half hour of the concert and the great music. I drove 4 hours to see the concert and stayed overnight in a fairly expensive hotel. For this concert I feel I didn't get my money's worth and they didn't have much in the way of merchandise left to buy. It always seems that they never have tshirts in sizes 3x and larger but they carry those sizes in their merchandise store on their website. Even with Neil gone it was a great concert.

The final show in 'America-Land' and the troupe of 4 - 1 was missing - seemed tired and looking ahead to being 'back home'. The missing singer seemed to throw the others in a tail spin wondering how to adjust -- and I suspect that a large part of their show was cut to make adjustments for the 'quartet'. 1st half of their show was a short 40 min. then a 20 min break followed by a 40 min. finale (?). I think I read the audience's response to be basically the same as mine - we've been took and WE DIDN'T GET OUR MONEY'S WORTH. !!!! - !

The show was awesome. We were missing Neil Byrne as he had a death in the family at home. It was fun because the guys were letting loose since it was their final show of the tour and they were headed home. They did a lot of Christmas songs which was great, but, I would have liked to have heard a few Christmas songs and more of their traditional numbers. The orchestra conductor was a show in and of himself! Very animated and fabulously involved with the show which came across in the music. The orchestrations were incredible. I did pay to have third row seats because, unless you do, most seats aren't easy to see from. The venue has a lot to be desired. It is a big ballroom with church pew chairs. And there's no way to get a drink as the lines are always too long.

This was their last performance on their tour and it felt like they couldn't get done quick enough. The performance was not worth the price of admission. We went to hear Celtic music, not American Christmas carols. The second half of the program was all Christmas carols. We were disappointed that one of performers had to fly home for a family emergency. The absence of this person may have added to the underwhelming performance. The orchestra was great!

Celtic Thunder I would go back and see again. Missed seeing Neal but the others were wonderful. The venue on the other hand was awful seats were like folding seats with a cushion bolted together. No room. Couldn't see the stage a t all due to the people in front of me. Choctaw casino and resort has theatre seating. And that is what Winstar should have. Very disappointed. Made for a very uncomfortable concert. Will never go back to Winstar for a concert

In the ten years that I've followed Celtic Thunder, they've always put on amazing shows! Each singer has his own unique voice and style, yet they blend beautifully on the combined numbers. And to top it off, they have such fun cracking jokes and pulling pranks that it keeps the audience in stitches. I will definitely attend other concerts that they have in my area!
