Having never seen the real Led Zepplin in concert, I figured Get The Led Out would be the closest thing to the real band that I would ever see in my life. And boy, I was not disappointed. They were incredible. Every song they played was spot-on. They covered every detail in every song. If I closed my eyes while listening to them, I'd swear I was listening to the original Led Zep album. Every song was very authentic. They used 3 guitarist sometimes to cover all of Jimmy Page's tracks for each song. They didn't leave out a thing. They even used a real theremin to recreate the sound effects during Whole Lotta Love. A very talented bunch of guys. Great show. The only disappointment was that they didn't play all of my favorite Led Zep songs. But then, if they tried to do that, they would have had to play till the wee hours of the morning.

This is my second time seeing the band and they were just as great if not better than the first time I saw them in AC this past summer. I don't recall seeing more enjoyable shows in recent memory. Zepplin fan or not, this show is a must see. Amazing talent (6)that brings it all together to create the sound. The opening song was Achilles Last Stand and it was performed as the masterpiece that it is. The lead singer has an unbelievably powerful voice and great stage presence that brings it all together.

I'v seen a lot of Led Zep Tribute Bands and many were really good but these guys are just on a different level. Great song list and lots of energy from both the band and the audience. I went with 6 friends and everyone had an absolute blast! You just gotta see them preferably in NYC...

Ive been listening to Zeppelin religiously since for 25 years. I have never seen any band recreate the music so perfectly and with such passion. These guys clearly love the music, they are not doing this for the money or as an act. Really fun to watch and probably the closest you are ever going to get.

Get The Led Out really did capture the essence of Led Zeppelin. The music sounded really good and if you close your eyes, you would have thought you were listening to Plant and Page. Although the crowd was small, everyone appeared to have had a great time. I would definately see their show again! The only reason why I didnt give them 5 stars was because I could have listenend to them for a couple more hours and I wish they would have played two of my favorites, D'yer Mak'er and Tangerine. Dont expect any lavish set up. All you get is the band, a smoke machine, and some fancy lighting....Plenty!

Get the Led Out captures the sound of Led Zeppelin extremely well. They obviously put a lot of time and effort into performing the songs as close to the studio versions of the Led Zeppelin classics as they can and they really nail it. A number of times I closed my eyes and just listened, it was truly remarkable. If you are a Led Zeppelin fan attending a Get the Led Out concert is an absolute must! You are simply not going to find anything closer to Led Zeppelin live than this unless the original band reunites, not very likely. Very well done and very enjoyable.

Most tribute bands can play the music, but this band was unbelievable. The real key to this band, however, is the lead singer. I saw Led Zeppelin in their prime, and Robert Plant was never as good in concert as the recordings were. The lead in this band was almost too good to be true. He was better than Robert Plant - Listening to him was like hearing the studio recordings except LIVE! I've been a working musician all my life, and I hate concerts that fall short of expectations. Trust me, this was as good as it gets!

I first saw Led Zeppelin on April 7, 1970 in Charlotte NC. I was 17. It was a great show. This band, The American Led Zeppelin has put together a great gig. The set list was as if they'd asked me to pick it for them. The lead vocalist sounded exactly like Robert Plant. Their goal is to recreate the songs as close as possible to the way they sound on the original albuns, and they are highly skilled in this regard. They had a total of 6 musicians so they were able to play all the parts that were overdubbed on the albums. They even brought out a femal vocalist for The Battle Of Evermore. It was incredible. Exceeded my wildest expectations.

I don't usually comment on shows but when I came across these reviews i thought they sounded like the band members must have written them. Here's the real deal: The music was ok. The singer sounded nothing like Plant but wasn't a bad singer although he looked a bit strung out like a rocker a little past his day. The arrangements sounded pretty dead on but they really didn't sound like the album. I thought that Classic Albums covered the studio cuts much better and they struck me as real studio musicians where as these guys seem more like a 70's cover band playing Zep songs. It was my first time at Penn's Peak and i thought the place was pretty cool. All in all a decent cover band but The American Led Zeppelin? Come on guys, do you really think so?

That show was amazing. Being a longtime Zep fan, being at this concert was like seeing LZ back in the late 60's. It was too bad that this concert wasn't promoted enough, so more people would have been there to appreciate the talents of these musicians. Hopefully they will back in the area soon.

I love Led Zeppelin, and for the most part, this band sounded like them. They had their moments where some songs were not so good. Battle of Evermore, Going to California, and a few others were excellant! What I didn't like was that some songs were done slightly different than the original, I for one would have preferred it being just like the original. But all in all a good show.

This band is outstanding! Close your eyes and you're listening to Plant, Page, Bonham and Jones. What I really appreciated was the fact that they do not pretend to be Led Zeppelin. They tell you straight out that they, like the audience, are Zeppelin fans and their charge is to pay tribute to this epic band and its music. And do they ever. I was fortunate enough to have seen Led Zeppelin at the original Boston Tea Party in January of 1969 on there first US tour. These guys deliver an authentic recreation of Led Zeppelin's music. They played for two hours or more with a short break included. While Led Zeppelin only had four members, Get the Led Out has six. They said the additional musicians were necessary because they could not recreate some of the work done in the studio with just four musicians on stage. No need to explain. Each and every member delivered a flawless performance. A must see for Zeppelin fans.

Eight GTLO shows over the last 24 months later for me, with tickets to shows nine and ten already purchased, GTLO continue to deliver the goods. Four specific reasons why I'll continue to see them: 1) They are dedicated to accurately performing the music of Led Zeppelin without falling into the ridiculous trap of trying to "be" Led Zeppelin. These guys are not imitators or impersonators and they don't try to alter or improve on music already timeless in its greatness. They do not improvise or add to music that they respect as some of the best rock ever recorded. They play the music of Led Zeppelin live the same way that classical musicians faithfully play the music of Bach, Mozart, or Rachmaninoff -- capturing and performing something of the power this music creates. 2) They wisely have opted to perform the music of Led Zeppelin live as it sounds on the recordings involving up to 8 musicians on stage rather than sticking to a four man band live sound which even sounded thin with the actual Zeppelin back in the day. 3) The ticket prices are reasonable / GTLO do not price gouge their fans with most shows coming in under 50 dollars per ticket. 4) GTLO always plays a slightly different set. Eight shows later for me and GTLO always plays at least three or four Zeppelin songs not heard from them previously. They mix it up and go deep into the Zeppelin catalog with every show. One additional reason -- the guys (and one woman) of Get The Led Out are obviously having a good time touring and playing a catalog of some of the greatest, most substantial rock music ever recorded. They are carrying the torch of music that will continue to be influential long after the members of Led Zeppelin are all gone. GTLO enjoy what they do and it shows every performance.

Get the Led Out is a good show, but I've seen other Zep bands that put on a better, more authentic show. It definitely seemed like they had some stuff pre-recorded and played during certain songs like Moby Dick for example. One other complaint was the stage lighting. Normally the lights move to the audience once or a couple times throughout the show. This show had unbelievably bright lights that flashed to the audience multiple times in every song. They were blinding.

On my numerous trips from home to college I would listen to Led Zeppelin. This group was dead on to the sounds that I remember so well. Get the Led Out concert was about as perfect as you can get, The venue for this was nearly perfect as well. This theater was previously called the Rajah, built in 1870 very ornate Victorian era moldings, a 2000 seating capacity, our seats were the orchestra level, at eye level with the performers, 21 rows back, the bass drum boomed in our chest, all of the musicians including drummer, strings, and singer were dead on with the original Led Zeppelin group. One of the best concerts ever that I have attended.

Love their music and you'd think it was Led Zeppelin. We we're able to meet them all at the end of the show and got our picture with them. Highly Recommend them to any Zeppelin fan.

I've never seen Led Zeppelin so I don't have a direct comparison. BUT, I have listened to their music since the '70's, On this night, I was affectively and effectively listening to Led Zeppelin! Way to go you guys from Philly! The lead singer said it best when he said we are not a tribute band but fans like you who want to reproduce their music as accurately as we can....Yes they did! The mix of songs was very well chosen too. Led Zeppelin had so many great songs and what we now consider classics, how do you choose which ones to play? The lead singer also said they change the songs from concert to concert so you are experiencing a different show each time. With my eyes closed, I swear Robert Plant was singing and on the solos, Jimmy Page was also in the house!

WOW - The next best thing to actually watching Led Zeppelin perform. First they are not Led Zeppelin impersonators at all period. They are a group of 6 that like most of us, are huge Fans of Led Zeppelin. This band of highly skilled musicians bring together all of their musical talents to play and represent Led Zeppelin Music, and man do they deliver. I brought my wife and our 25 year old daughter, we all were just mesmerized by this band. They are fully energized and bring forth a superb show. Everyone of the members of the band have solo parts that allows them to show case their talents. I first heard of this group on the Public Broadcast System Network show (PBS) They showed this band playing at Red Rocks in Colorado. After watching that broadcast I searched Google to find out where they would be performing so I could watch it live.

My second time seeing this band and they are as close to the real Zeppelin as you can get. There playing is identical to the way Zeppelin recorded there albums(Moby dick a bit different),not the way they performed live which is actually a good thing. Highly recommend seeing them. Outstanding!!!!!

Ive seen this band 6 times, and they get better each time. They have taken their craft as a tribute band to a new level with the amount of time, energy and practice that goes into there performance. They are and have been well worth the price of admission if you enjoy the music of Led Zeppelin or just live rock and roll in general.

I have been a Led Zeppelin fan since their first album was released, but I never had an opportunity to see them in concert. So, when I saw that this tribute group was going to be performing close to home, I bought tickets early and got seats on the second row from the stage. I was totally blown away! These guys were absolutely fantastic. Lots of energy, stage presence, and raw musical talent. If you are a LZ fan, you gotta see this group.

First off, Get the Led Out rocks. Just know that they are not the kind of tribute band that wants to look exactly like the band they cover. With GtLO the music is the focus, not the look, and they do it very well. Not that they don't look cool too, just not like Led Zep. Loved the set list, especially that they did the Livn' Lovn' Maid follow up to Heartbreaker. No Quarter is another high point. Many other songs I wish they would do, but they can't play a six hour show.

This is not just a mere tribute band, no no. They are very talented musicians in their own right and have a love for the Mighty Zeppelin so deep they give you a piece of their soul with every song. They are keeping the music alive for the generations to come. All members play their respective instruments with power, knowledge, and creativity. I look forward to their show every year and they do not disappoint. I highly recommend seeing these guys live. You will never be the same again. All hail Led Zeppelin and GTLO.

They don't look like Led Zeppelin, but close your eyes and listen to the music and it would be hard to tell them apart. These musicians worked hard to damn near perfect the sounds and performance quality of the real thing. Their performance took me back to 1975 when I saw Led Zeppelin live in Pgh at the Civic Arena. Awesome show. See it when they are in a town near you.

First of all my husband and I were very impressed with the PAC. The parking was great and so many friendly employees around to help. Get The Led Out was amazing to see/hear, they kept us entertained every moment of the show. We would love for them to come back again.

Get the Led Out was great. They don't try to be Zeppelin clones, they just play all Led Zeppelin very very well. Penns Peak is great place to see a concert, bar service is excellent. No long waits for drinks, even when there is a line.

Led Zeppelin is hard to cover in my opinion. But these guys sounded amazing! The songs sounded like the album versions. Vocals and instruments were on key. They don't dress to impersonate the original band members. Their outfits are basic, but they focus on delivering thr authentic sound of Led. Really good job! I enjoyed every song on their playlist. Would see them again.

I checked out some of the videos on YouTube and read some reviews before buying tickets for this show. Everything I saw was positive so we scored great seats. We were completely blown away. Their sound and the quality of sound were both incredible - WAY beyond our expectations. Body shaking and crystal clear! We go to a lot of live shows (5 in just the last 8 days) and this was an experience at a completely different level. Everyone we spoke with on our way out said they were blown away too. We WILL NOT miss them next time they come around. Hope it's soon!

This was my first GTLO show. I wasn't too sure about these guys, YouTube videos don't do justice to what you see and hear in person. These guys aren't impersonators - they're not trying to look like the originals. But they are note-for-note PERFECT when it comes to reproducing the music. You really can't begin to understand unless you've been to one of their shows. Every single one of the guys on stage could hold their own with any top superstar musician you've ever seen. The stage presence is a bit odd to see, because, again, they're not trying to LOOK like the originals. That said, they're all moving, grooving, interacting, and having a blast with each other and the audience - I guess the unsettling thing is that it's 110% authentic Led Zeppelin coming out of the speakers!! it takes a minute for your brain to associate these new guys with that sound. These guys are Zep fans through and through who have taken the art of paying homage to a level I've never seen before. If you like Led Zeppelin, you've got to catch one of their shows!!
