Enjoyed the friendships, performances, good sportsmanship, talent and music exhibited from this competition by all participating marching band students.

This was my first BOA, and I didn't know it was going to be so much fun! If you love marching bands, you'll love BOA. The Super Regional Finals has all the best bands in the state, one after the other, with non-stop action and a great view from the reserved seats for only $5 more than general admission. One suggestion - The food at the Alamodome is super-expensive. Eat before you go!

We enjoyed BOA Super Regionals from great seats. We arrived two hours before the first band performed, but we're sure the other 10,000 fans got a good view as well.

All of the bands were amazing - I don't know how the judges manage to separate them. Again this year, the scores were close, and the crowd cheered on both their bands and other performers. Seeing the kids meet and congratulate each other after awards on the field always reinforces my hope for a brighter future. Great event!!!

MFAs Bands of America is such an awesome experience both for the participants and for the spectators. Lucas Oil Stadium is such a perfect location! Thank you for the experience!

for those of you who have no idea what marching band is all about, this is a must see!

I just think that BOA is in it to make money...they pick the same bands every year.

The event is incredible to see the competition in Texas High School Bands.

Excellent venue, except too much noise from concessions areas behind us made it difficult to hear and distrscting. Would have preferred that there were hot drinkd to enjoy. Otherwise the staff was helpful and the bands were all fantastic!

If you have never been to a Marching Band competition, you are missing a great show. It is not what you would expect. Those kids work so hard and they deliver.

The Atlanta Regional went to a new level this year. The competition was fierce and all the shows were all amazing. The final 12 Bands were all terrific and and each one "brought it". Congrats to Tarpon for their Atlanta Three-peat - what a great program that never fails to set the bar each year.

What talented teenagers we have. Well minded and enthusiastic. What talent in pulling together routines that took months to perfect in the heat and cold! Marching Band has come a long way since my HS days 30+ years ago.

the 2010 Grand Championiships was the best one in years!

Center Grove Marching Band and Guard were awesome.They will be in the finals no doubt.Cant wait to see Sat evening performance.The bar is high this year and Center Grove looked liked they had no problem performing at an expected higher level.

This event was absolutely amazing! Congratulations to all of the bands and the incredible amount of hard work and dedication that goes into creating these performances!

The BOA was amazing! These young students are incredibly talented! To march, play music, swing flags, move props, act all while keeping time is a incredible feat! People say playing sports is a demanding game, I think being in a band/color guard is a demanding sport, more than football will ever be. Band/Color Guard practices 6 days a week, football twice, guess who is more in shape and more in demand. Excellent job to all who performed, never be ashamed because you are a band member, be proud! Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. Hebrews 13:16 The seats were a mess, we paid for actually seats, in stead of general admission, there is no need its all general admission and everyone sits on one side, that was a incredible rip off! Get only general admission seats - save the money!

Amazing bands and worth every penny! Quite a lineup.

I love this event & the venue. However, the staff giving directions are somewhat rude. However, the concession stand employees & the actual venue make up for it.

Marching and playing at the same time no longer required for Marching Bands. Beautiful winter guard show won but was boring and band hardly played. Thought new judge rules eliminated that. Seemed like the winner was preselected before the event.

Kudos to all the performing bands! They all brought their A game. Amazing visuals and music. Truly enjoyable competition. Thank you!!

100 of The nations best high school marching bands. This is marching on steroids and it is awesome to see.

The bands did an amazing job, and the acoustics were amazing. I've watched some of these performances live on football fields, and this was special because of the venue. The food service was terrible though. Extremely overpriced. I had the pizza, and it was not good. The servers didn't even have a pizza cutter, so I had to eat the thing whole. No peppers or parm. either. My son's burger was raw. Thankfully, Chick fil a showed up with chicken sandwiches, and we got that for dinner.

The event was fabulous and the location was great but the way they controlled the entrance and exit points were atrocious. Poor planning on the audience side but the performers were held to a second. Very hard to get back to your seat and no directions made many people confused and mad.

This was my first visit to the new Mercedes Benz stadium. I've been to BOA shows at the GA Dome before. My complaint about the GA Dome was that you could hear more noise from the concession stands than you could from the field. This has been fixed at The Benz. The seats are comfortable and the food was not expensive. There was some crowd control confusion but it wasn't too bad. Chick-fil-A should have checked the schedule because they were not open until 12 noon when the lunch break started at 11:30 am. Overall I was impressed with the new Benz. I'll definitely be back for more.

Marching band fans of all ages will enjoy this yearly band competition! The level of talent is amazing!

have seen 29 consecutive years of BOA Nationals and each year gets better and more competitive. Terrific performances by all bands; creative and well played.

The best experience ever. Can't wait for next year. The kids are already talking about starting fund raising to join BOA again next year. Thank you for an amazing unforgettable even.

Great Weekend!! Love watching ALL of the Bands from different States!

This was my first BOA event. They do not let you down. The talent of these kids is pure amazing. My only complaint was that I attended wearing jeans, long sleeves, and tennis shoes. By the end of the event I was frozen. It was so cold at the venue. After speaking with my daughter who was one of the finalists, she said she was so cold standing on the field her teeth were chattering and she could barely stand still.

To say this event left me speechless is an understatement! What an amazing group of hard working kids- I've never experienced anything so challenging and so beautiful. These kids all deserve a medal. They should be very proud of themselves. Again, WOW! So glad I wasn't a judge. They are all winners in my book!!!

The event is wonderful as usual. However, If you are going to sell premium reserve seats that are folding chairs you need to specify that in the ticket description.

Although I wasn't completely blown away this year, I would still recommend this event to anyone with interest in the marching arts. It's definitely worth the drive. I've participated in two Bands of America competitions and I must tell you that no circuit does it better. Music for All does an amazing job planning this event and the people who attend and volunteer are very friendly. If everyone had been in marching band, the world would be a better place.

Like the title says! Competition and level of performance were great.

I took my grandson to this for his 16th Birthday!!! We stayed all three days. Watch all of the Prelims (95 bands), the Semi-Finals, and the Finals. It was a wonderful experience for the both of us. Better than going to Disneyland!!!

Amazing experience! Can't wait for next year's competition!

Outstanding event, couldn't be more pleased. Best band show on the planet

Attended this well organized entertaining event downtown Indianapolis on Thursday, the 12th. Lucas Oil Stadium is first class. Bands of America is so well organized.

Congratulations to all The schools, performers, faculty members, band supporters and parents of all the performers who participated in this event. The dedication and passion that is applied to the performances I witnessed was emotionally charged. As a parent of one of the performers I see the time put into the practice and effort to get everything just perfect. All the participants deserve a standing ovation, especially all the people that work so hard behind the scene. Washing costumes, fabricating and transporting props to the shows, feeding and watering the troops, training the students to be better the list goes on and on right down to the parents who support the students in band programs.

Great competition and good environment. Noise level from food area made viewing area a little louder than I would have preferred for a band performance.

I am just amazed at all the talent you see at BOA. It makes me so proud as a parent to see the wonderful things these high school students can do. It is such a wonderful display of what GOOD things young people can accomplish. With so much negative things in the news today, BOA is a breath of fresh air. Keep up the good, no GREAT work all you marvelous kids!!!

Great event to attend each year. Incredible talent at the high school level.

If you follow the blogs, you can see which bands will be in finals just from the list of attendees. Go to prelims to see for yourself that other bands are just as good -- if not better -- than these "big names". There are of course some bands that are there for the experience and it's fun to cheer them on, too. But the fun or different shows tend to get filtered out until you're left with finals that have talented kids in shows that are interchangeable and memorable only as "dramatic". If you can't make prelims, go to semifinals but unless your own kid is in finals, skip it.

Could not understand how a band with lower scores on Thursday be in the semi-finals when bands on Friday had higher scores but did not make the semi-finals. I know you take 15 bands on Thursday and 15 on Friday but somehow that does not seem to be fair or have the higher score bands be in the semi-finals as they should be. Otherwise, the event is fantastic and truly enjoyed it.

Well organized and fast paced - truly a remarkable event. To see the top performing schools in the nation amazed me.

So amazing to see teenagers display the control and discipline to execute those amazing shows!+
