This was a most exciting event. The people, the energy, the cricket, the music and lots of food and fun. The only downside is that the city address given on the ticket was "Ft. Lauderdale" and for those of us from out of town, it was difficult to find. Thanks Digicel. Let's do it again.

The weather was fantastic, a great day for an outdoor event. It was a terrific turnout and everyone was excited for this event being the first of its kind here in South Florida. There were Caribbean folks from all over, My relatives came in from Orlando, so it was a definite treat. However, entrance to the designated locations were improperly arranged. We had Party tickets ($65) and were advised to enter through where the less expensive ($20) were being collected. It took us about thirty minutes before we were let through. No one gave us wrist bands and once inside were confronted by a very rude usher who refused to advise where we can get them and called Security for us. We were then escorted by a police officer who took us to the correct location and we waited another thirty minutes before we could obtain them. Of course the wrist bands were our ID for refreshments. There was even a patron who had purchased a ticket for $125 and was tagging along with us. Needless to say, we missed quite a portion of the game. In the end, it turned out well and we enjoyed ourselves due to the comraderie and the good time for which Caribbean folks are known. I will definitely do it again, but please, please equip your ushers with correct info so that a great time could be held by all. Maybe if there were signs identifying gate entrances, it would have been a lot easier. Regards.

Problems were minor, but need to be considered for future games. (1) Approaching the ground created significant traffic delay. I estimated 20 minutes to travel the last half mile. Parked cars had to be shuffled to make room for other cars. The Good side the atmosphere was excellent ( Typical West Indian. ) I was sitting next to a NZ supporter but he was a good sport in Cheering on his side. Good turnout also.

The weather was hot and guest should be allowed to walk into the venue with water and their own snacks if it is unopened. If not the snacks at least water. Over all I had a great time and look forward to future events as such.

Chris Gayle an Kieron Pollard batted fantastically and entertained the crowd with volley of sixes and fours. We enjoyed the game.

Great game, lots of people. Bar was good in party stand, but ran out of drinks. Good entertainment, and the fact we had international cricket in the US was fantastic. Let's do it every year

The parking was horrible and the event organizers ran out of food in the Corporate Hospitality area before the game was over. Then they stopped serving drinks as soon as the game was done which was 3.5 hrs into it. I paid for four hours of food and drink at 132.00 per ticket and barely got any food or drink for that money, plus people were selling the same ticket outside for 30.00

Event was 1st class. Bonus, West Indies won both matches. Event was well attended and support for the West Indies team was great. Worth every penny. BTW, having tickets before arrival, PRICELESS.

With so much cricket playing all around the world these days, it was very much heartwarming that an Internationl Match at this level is being played in North America, where it was non-existent for decades. Hopefully, more venues across North America can be made available so that more cricket fans will be able to attend more matches, all depends on the ICC. I will be travelling from Toronto for the 2 T20 in Florida, and is hoping for some fireworks cricket by the West Indies. Their opponent, The Black Caps, should be easy to defeat with the West Indies team very much on the up-mode, with several world class T20 players on board.

As much as I wanted the T20 to succeed in Ft Lauderdale, it was a huge disappointment. Not enough vendor, and ground not suitable for intl cricket.

I attended the game on Sunday July 2, 2012 and was disappointed with the lack of organization. There were no signs posted to direct you to any of the entrances based on the section. In my case I had a ($65) VIP ticket with section number and a seat number. This was a sectioned off area on the grass with no seating and no covering from the 2pm sun in south Florida, I did not buy this ticket for the alcohol because i don't drink but thought this would be more comfortable than the lower priced seats. The alcohol, sun and no seating create havoc, there was a fight because folks were standing before each other blocking their view.

Great stadium to view cricket matches and the games were great. I have the following constructive suggestions for future matches: 1) Have separate lines for the East pavilion vs the West pavilion. 2) Double or triple the amount of metal detectors which will speed up the process. A lot of fans were in line for a long time after the game started. 3) Streamline the "food court" by: -Have the cashier and "drink dispenser" at the same place so that you do not have to join 1 line for paying then another for picking up your drinks. -Use "colored" tickets so that 1 color could have a value of $5. As a result, someone purchasing 4 beers will receive 4 tickets as opposed to standing there while the cashier could out 20 tickets for you. 4) Tickets should allow fans to choose whether they want to sit in the East pavilion OR West pavilion.

The stadium/venue was great, however the organization and planning skills were quite poor. I was in line to park inside the stadium for 2+ hours and had to park at the mall. The "event security" folks were rude, rough and obnoxious... could not get a clear sense of protocol to follow. ... and they had no clue how to handle such a large crowd. When the game started at 3 pm there were more people in line than in the stadium. Game time was at 3 pm and the traffic control folks were putting out parking cones at 2:30 pm... on the main highway. The line for drinks and the ticket system was poorly organized.... needed more uniform officers and less "event security" folks... I REALLY RECOMMEND A REVIEW/CHANGE OF PROTOCOL FOR FUTURE EVENTS....

I was very excited to see a first class one day match in S.Florida for the first time. I hope this is a sign of more international cricket coming to this area..The game should have been played for 30 or 35 overs, thus starting earlier. This would be a win win situation for cricket lovers, the vendors(more time to make more money) and the organizers.

The only things I didn't like was that the seat number isn't revealed until AFTER you purchase the ticket at this venue. You also cannot see which seats were available for purchase and which ones are reserved. The $10 parking was right at the south grounds entrance, the $15parking was further and seemed to be in another time zone!! HOT, HOT, HOT and now bottled water allowed in but they want you to purchase their $5 bottled water inside..typical Aside from that, I had a GREAT weekend!! It was HOT, some people forgot to prepare and stood in the isles as the sun set in their areas. I met Joel Garner, Darren Sammy and the Refs, excited for next year. Looking forward to seeing a packed crowd in 2013 and maybe an additional ODI in Toronto?!?!!!

The cricket was great but, for the amount of money charged for the "Party Stand" there should have been some seating arrangements. The abence of seating made the event strenuous, and distracted from the cricket lovely cricket!

Enjoyable experience, will likely be developed into a world class venue with some kinks to be sorted out, like easy entrance into the stands. Took almost an hour in line, under the scorching sun, to get to our reserved seating. The position of some of the photographers, and their umbrellas, were obstructing specators' view in the lower West Stands. Needs a giant screen scoreboard or a traditional one to show specators the proceedings of the match. More vendors with much more varity is needed to satisy the thirst and hunger. These are the negatives. The positives, I will definitely go again if the match consists of quality teams, like West Indies, England, Australia,India or South Africa. The nightly entertainment in Ft.Lauderdale is super !!!

It was a decent first time experience watching international cricket in the USA. The pitch seems to have been slightly improved compared to 2010. But the runs flowed really because the boundary was brought in 10-15 yards which is not exactly the right long term solution. There was too much distance between the barricaded stands and the action on the field.

The events was very good. I do hope we can have at least one event like that every year. However, there could have been more server walking around selling things to eat and drinks. The Bar ran out of ice and drinks. Hopefully, there will be more than enough the next time. I will be there again with the entire Orlando Softball Cricket Leage.

Got there 45 minutes before the match. Parking was a disorganized mess. Nobody knew where to go. Paid another 15.00 to drive past empty parking lots next to the arena and end up half a mile away.10 minutes left before match starts, walk back to arena and a thousand people are mobbed outside trying to get through SECURITY which consists of 2 people going through bags, then 2 xray machines. All of these people trying to get in and only 2 at a time can get through. A total chaos. People yelling, the match already starting, standing in line in the blazing sun waiting. We gave up and went home. A mess. Waste of time and money. Too bad no stars wasn't an option in this review.

It was cricket in America but the organization was NOT "first world"! From getting into the car park, picking up tickets and getting into the ground all was chaos. The organizers appeared not to not have expected such a huge crowd and had far too few entrances and no crowd control barriers. Picking up tickets was a slow process as the same 2 people had to issue both pre-paid tickets and day of play tickets. By Sunday there were big improvements in access to the car park and crowd control at the entrance to the ground. For a West Indies match it was very quiet - no "rhythm sections" and little music but the cricket part was fine.

Very disappointed in the overall organization of this event. First of all, when purchasing the tickets, we were unable to print the electronic tickets as we are from Bermuda and had to collect at Will Call. Why I can print tickets for every other event and not this one I don't know! I purchased the tickets as a gift for Father's Day for my boyfriend and his friend. I was not attending but gave him the receipt to collect the tickets. I also gave him my credit card as this was the card used to purchase the tickets. I would have thought this would be sufficient. Upon arrival at the Park,, 45 min early they were not allowing anyone to enter the parking lot without tickets. They would not accept the confirmation as a ticket. How are you supposed to get to the ticket booth without parking!?! There was chaos everywhere. They then had to wait over an hour in a ticket line only to be then told that they had to go to another line somewhere else. Then, they were told that they couldn't collect the tickets; that I had to be there. Throughout this hour and a half experience there were thousands of other people lined up in the hot sun waiting in lines and experiencing similar frustrations. Tempers were high and the crowd was getting hostile. There appeared to be no organized entrance and people were being sent this way and that! After finally entering the complex (almost 2 hrs later), they proceeded to their section only to find that they had NO SEATS. I purchased, what I thought was PREMIUM SEATS for $75 each only for them to find out that there were no seats in this section. THe tickets clearly state Section and Seat #'s!! I am appauled and dissatisfied! To find out that for only $20 General Admission entrants not only had seats but also shade furher adds insult to injury!! I use Ticketmaster all the time and have never had this experience. This was supposed to be a special gift and amazing experience that turned into a total frustrating event! They actual had to leave early just to avoid the chaos upon leaving. They heard many people complaining and saying that they would never come back for day 2.

If possible do something so the general public can relate to the players. A handbook giving a short history of the players and management. A player by player introduction of the starting eleven by the PA. I thought it was a very good effort in all regards.

Great game ,but not properly organized ,should have had more than one entrance ,or open the gates earlier so people can go in ,and not be so crowded, they would have made a hell of a lot more money ,especially if the concession stands were open

I arrived at the park from Kissimmee Fl at approximately 1:30p.m., but did not park until 2:00 p.m. (that's ok) I then stood in line with friends until 2:55 p.m..Some of the other patorons came in later, but went in first by going athe head of the line. Security was notified, but to no avail. I felt terribly for some youngsters with their parents, who were standing next to me but never got in until after the game started. We were literally pushed inside without even checking our tickets. We were serached by security (not a good job). I finally got to my seat when the game began. Thank God for that! I did enjoy the game. I hope and prayer that we have more of these Cricket series. Please also, let us take in our foodstuff as we are accustomed to do. We could not purcase any foodstuff, the line was too long. Blessings in love
