This band rocks! My only beef was the sound mixing, as we couldn't always hear the singer as clearly as we would have liked, but I am telling you, he hit notes that only Steven Perry could hit. And the guitar player might be one of the best I have ever seen live! He has the fastest fingers on the fret board since Neil Shon! The drummer is a mad man too! They were rock solid on all the songs that we all know every note by heart. Everyone was rocking out!

If you love the music from the original band Journey then you definitely don't want to miss Frontiers. Such a talented bunch of musicians. As close to the original band/music you'll ever experience outside of actually seeing Journey

I had heard Frontiers at an ourtdoor concert and was impressed. However, their perforamance at House of Blues was extremely disappointing. The lead singer, who obviously had downed more than a few cans of alchohol before taking the stage, was forgetful of the lyrics, and when he did remember them, was off-key. Additionally, the speakers had been turned up so much that people were actually moving away from the stage (even those in the balcony seats). This band needs to understand that music doesn't need to be ear-splitting to be appreciated. Recommendation for future reference: a lot less noise, and a lot more quality.

Wish that they would come down to Houma more often to see them. They did a great job so much fun to listen to.

We got there early and they said come back at 8pm and the band would not start untll 9:30pm... ok. If the band wasn't going to start until 9:30pm, thats the way they should have advertised it. But I get it, they want you to come in and mill around and buy their expensive drinks... So at around 9:30, the back up band played. Since Frontiers is a Journey Tribute band onewould have assumed the first act would play music from kind of the same genre. but instead it was a heavy metal band that played extremely loud metal that was ok, but not what we were expecting. They played for about 45 minutes until about 10:15. We assumed that Frontiers would be on quicker than they were... but after waiting about another 45 minutes (now a total of about 135 minutes of standing around waiting) Frontiers decided to finally grace us with their presence. I'll admit, the band was good, but the sound was horrible. They should have sound checked as well as the first band as their sound was much better and louder. The NYE countdown was very anticlimatic. Another huge issue, for as much time as they expected the patrons to stand around and wait, the House of Blues did not have a large enough bar staff to handle the crowd. OVerall, I was very disappointed and would not return to the House of Blues...

These guys are incredible. I've seen some of their vids on youtube and it does them no justice. They are so much better than their vids on youtube and the lead singer is amazing (although he is HUGE HUGE GEEK and NERD!! ) . The music was loud but not too loud where it was unbearable. THE LEAD SINGER SHOULD BE THE NEW FRONT MAN FOR JOURNEY NOT THAT PHILIPINO GUY!! I will see them again for sure. They played all of Journeys hits and played for about 2 hours straight and one encore. Not bad for $7.50 Gen Admin. I've seen Journey in concert and this show is one you should NOT miss!! If you are seeing them at the a small venue like House of Blues then I recommend floor or GA tickets. Although you're standing - the people on the floor got into the show a lot more causing the show itself to be that much better!!
