The 69 Eyes were rockin', as they always do. Got great pictures of Jyrki and Bazie. Not a single note off key for the 'Eyes or The Becoming (Who I had never really listened to until that night), except from the girls who were singing along behind me. (I could'nt really see Jussi or Archzie, but that was my fault for picking the spot that I did) I had never seen Dommin, they were alright. Vanity Plan was awesome, they actually took time to chat with the crowd, I hope they make it BIG.

The 69 Eyes are always amazing live. They have been playing sets for over 20 years now and they know the perfect formula for any crowed. I have seen them many times and am always impressed with their set. The opening bands were better than many I have seen in the past. The venue was a little bit of a surprise. It is a former roller skating rink and the ceiling has holes and other interesting features. From the looking around, it seems that the venue owner is slowly fixing the venue up. Over all sound, lighting and the band were all amazing. The building was just a little creepy.

Well, this event was very interesting on a number of levels! First off, the venue was a skating rink with a concert stage and had an ultra-cool goth feel about it. The 3 band bill featuring The Becoming, Dommin and The 69 Eyes was perfectly put together. Each of the bands is certainly in the same dark, melodic family yet each has its own sound, style and feel. The set length for each was perfect and the night just flowed flawlessly. The 69 Eyes setlist spanned their entire career from classics like "The Chair" to the newer "Lips of Blood". The Becoming kicked the show off with a very slick melodic style that should be picked up on very quickly by fans of this style. But it was Dommin that really impressed so many folks I talked to. All in all, it was a killer evening that fans in attendance won't soon forget. By any means necessary...GET THERE!!!

I've always loved The 69 Eyes, and have seen them at Harpo's a couple times. But to see them in a smaller venue like the I Rock was amazing. Getting the chance to be so close to the guys on the stage was a great time. The becoming and Dommin did great jobs as well. And it was great to spend a few minutes talking to Dustinn form The Becoming after the show. Thanks for the autograph's bro, especially the special one you did for my girlfriend ;) I will definitely be on the lookout for more The Becoming shows! All in it was an awesome time. If you haven't been to a show on this tour yet, do it! Do it now!

My girlfriend could not figure out what she wanted for her birthday and I thought that I would try to find a concert that she would enjoy. Evidentally, OURS was not in town so I tried to find the next best thing, one of her favorites, Dommin. What she did not know is that 69 Eyes were headlining, ha. 69 Eyes have become one of my favorite bands and I came to know them back in 2002. I knew this would be an excellent show but did not know what to expect out of The Becoming. We arrived at the show in Recher Theatre, Townson around 8pm to find The Becoming just beginning their set. When we walked in the applause sounded as if the headliner was already on. They were a power house and the lead singer was bouncing all over the stage making it an exilerating experience. The band played a bunch of tunes that were brand new to me in which turned me to their merch counter for their CD (which is great). Dommin soon followed and they blew us away. My girlfriend literally lost her mind and sang ever song as if it was posted on paper in front of her. Dommin was excellent as they were the first time that we saw them around the spring 2009 with Birthday Massacre. I would say that this line up fit them the best. With the likeness of Danzig, they totally rocked the theatre. They are a new upcoming band but seem as if they have been doing this their whole lives. The 69 Eyes were up next and Jyrki 69 came out and said "We are the Helsinki Vampires" and the crowd knew that it was on. They played many tracks from their newest album, "Back in Blood" and many classics from "Paris Kills" and "Devils". My girlfriend knew the track "Perfect Skin" from their "Angels" album and she sang it from beginning to end! They played an awesome show and walked off stage after an hour set. After the set the fans screamed and they reappeared back on stage to play a few more tracks. The show was excellent and was one of the best I have been able to see in a long time. I will definitely go back to a show with any of these bands on the ticket!

The 69 Eyes were epic, as always. I had my doubts about Dommin and The Becoming, but after the first 2 minutes of their sets, I was hooked. The whole night was mindblowing.
