The singer of Habibi and many other hits has been the continuous number 1 star in Egypt and a lot of parts of the Middle East and the Mediterranean for the past 30 or so years. Amr is very consistently good as a voice on stage, but unfortunately he barely knows how to engage audience. Young people love him regardless! The event experience was poor. Most people showed up before 8pm, but Amr showed up at 11:00pm, with no words of apology and no information from the venue or the organizers.

Amr Diab's concert was just SO amazing! He rocked the MGM! I think Amr hired some of the worlds greatest musicians! Every beat, every tune, and every sound was just GRAND! His voice was ALL of him, he did not use any machines to cover up. He engaged the crowd, he danced with all of us, he made all of us so happy! Amr looked like the morning and evening STAR! He has got a great voice, he's got so much Rhythm and for sure SO much heart! Amr certainly needs to come back to Las Vegas more often, we were all so pleased with his GRAND performance! Amr is a legend, and an inspiration for many! He LOVES his fans! His sings with his heart, and is SO very much Loved!

Let me start off by saying Amr Diab is my favorite artist, and the only celebrity I actually care enough to go see live at a concert. That being said, the event's organization and his attitude were very disappointing. We arrived at 7:15, got a drink, got to our seats, and had a little conversation with the people around us until 8:00 rolled up, nothing. 8:30, nothing. 9:00, nothing, 9:30, nothing. 10:00, an alright DJ comes on stage with two cute Go Go dancers- not strippers unlike what one reviewer stated- which entertained the crowd for 30 short minutes then guess what? NOTHING for 30 more minutes until the band set up and Amr Diab came to stage, THREE HOURS LATE!! Now here's the thing, a persian singer or DJ cancelled a couple of weeks before the event so I understand things came up, BUT they had a good two week period to figure out how they were going to fill up the time. To make matters worse, Amr Diab didn't even apologize for keeping us waiting for the longest 3 hours of our lives, and me and my friends were supposed to attend a birthday party around 11:30 that night, which of course we failed to do. NOW THE ICING ON THE CAKE: They advertised a (AMR DIAB AFTER PARTY) at the concert and we ended up going there, and of course, Amr Diab didn't even make an appearance!!! To their credit, they didn't specifically say that he would show up, but I mean common dude it was so implied that he would when you name it the Amr Diab after party, and advertise it on a slideshow at the man's concert! Overall, his live singing sounded exactly like the recorded version, and he kept the show going, but I expected much more from the superstar that I grew up listening to.

The concert was amazing! It was my 6 year old daughter's first concert she has ever attended and my first Arabic concert...the people and staff were very nice. Amr's voice in person is absolutely beautiful and better in person than recorded. Even though he arrived late to the concert, it was worth waiting for. The belly dancers were talented. It is amazing how music can bring many nations and cultures together and who better yet to do that than Amr Diab! Bahebak awy ya Amr!

First of all the $50 tickets were sold out weeks befor the event but the place was less than 50% capacity. Also the artist arrived 3 hrs late, and the organizer decide to fill the time slot with some mediocer DJ that stayed for 30 mins. Terrible organization bad event management, and most of all artist didn't respect people's time. Will not try this again or even recommend it.

I drove all the way from Chicago to Detroit just because I wanted to be WOWed. Honestly, this concert did not WOW me until Amr Diab Showed up (2 Hours late). The concert started with a Lebanese singer who sang some familiar Arabic songs. I was okay with that because the guy had some talent and he only performed for 35 minutes or so. Then, an Egyptian DJ that could not spin (Tamer Something), showed up. MY GOD he was unbelievably HORRIBLE. The music was so freaking loud, his song choice was poor and the dancer that he brought never really danced. Bang Bang Bang Bang, I almost had my ears blown up. It could not be worse. I could have gone to the nearest Night Club, If I wanted this type of music. After 90 minutes of absolute torture, Amr Diab showed up. I've been to Rihanna's concert last May and the way she entered the stage was EPIC. However, Amr did not really WOW me when he entered. Don't get me wrong, I love Amr Diab. In fact, I grow up listening to his songs and I memorize each and every song of him by heart, but the organization of the concert were too cheap to give Amr what he deserves. Half the way through, everyone stood up and left their seat. So, I really could not see that stage until I decided to leave my seat and walk down the aisle with the rest of the crowed. I remained stand for the next 45 minutes surrounded by GOD KNOWS WHOM until Amr decided to leave. No security to assure discipline and everyone kept coming down the aisle like a zombie. Was I entertained? YES, only because Amr was a good performer and he did his best to entertain us. It was the first time I go to his concert and definitely not the last. I would go throughout that pain over and over again if I knew that Amr will entertain me the way he did. I wished that he sang some songs from his upcoming album.

I arrived at 730 half hour before the show is supposed to start. Well, I wish I would've came at 1030 instead! The opening singer didn't start till 9 o'clock and sang for 45min. Then at 950 a dj started to play american music like we were getting ready to go to the club.. Hoping that Amr Diab would come out at 10, I anxiously waited..... Well he didn't come out till 1030...if I wasn't so frustrated that I waited 3 hours instead of 1 hour after the opening act like any other concert, I probably would've enjoyed it more. Overall Amr was great and sang a lot of his famous songs, just wish he didn't follow the middle eastern way of timing...

I was so looking forward to seeing Amr Diab!! I got front row tickets!! I took my whole family and friends! We just got back and I'm so angry the show was so cheap, rushed, poorly organized, and not worth a dime! I should have listened to reviewers from last year's shows... I showed have known this event was going to suck just from watching his Youtube videos from cities he already hit before reaching ours! They were ALL HORRIBLE....but I still went!! I should have listened to the facebook comments from people that went to the TX and Atlantic City or Vegas shows...but I didn't. Don't go. He makes you wait 3 hours. They tell you to get there at 8 but you have to wait...and it turns out he's done that in every city so far. I felt so bad for my parents because they had to sit for such a long time with NOTHING. I feel so cheated. His shows overseas are way better, promoters are way better, and the audience is better.

Artist have great voice, and definately deserve better organizator then he got. It was scenario was happen: unknown DJ for 1,5 hr with unapropriate loud music (just equalisers, another karaoke kind), and public around below zero. Nobody keeping sit place, so no point to pay overprice for tickets. Anyway everybody will stay over your head, and you will be unable to see anything. But even listening to him it was pleasure. Good luck to Amr and change trip team.

Dj opened concert with popular songs mix, then favorite Arabic mixes, following mixes from Arash songs. Arash was not part of the show. Amr Diab repertoire of songs new and old was great. He really related to his audience, He is great singer, great smile, great performer.

Amr saved the day! Very low turn out for a huge venue like the Reliant Arena. The concert should have been in a much smaller place. The program was poorly laid out... There was no one introducing the show. Actually there was a DJ who was very much destracted and disoriented. A good 30 minutes of emptiness with no music or video till the Amr Diab Band showed up. If you are planning on having a second show like this, then tell the people to show up at 11:30 and not 8:00 PM.

Amr Diab remains an incredible artist. I would come to see him anywhere, but the pre show absolutely SUCKED! A dj came out and made us listen to musc we would normally hear on the radio...only he was playing it so loud I actually shoved wet paper napkins in my ears to muffle the sound. he went on for a painful hour. If I had wanted to go to a night club it would have cost me less...when he played some egyptian music and people finally became interested he went back to pop and then threw in an Iranian song nobody even understood. HORRIBLE!!! And then when he finally stopped the band came out and tuned their instruments for another half our. We almost contemplated leaving. It was a really pathetic intro to an incredible performance by Amr Diab. Only I must admit that even his act seemed a bit unrehearsed. He hardly sang any of his new songs. We did enjoy the old ones but it was a bit odd.

What a night, he is the king, love his voice and can't wait till his 2011 album comes out, what was amazing is the fact that all ages were dancing from litllet girls to my 12 years old to a 70 years old man who was dancing as well, all were having fun and danced with his music.

Amr Diab was great but I was VERY dissapointed with the DJ opening act and the two strippers he had with him. The concert started 3 HOURS LATE!!! That was very annoying. If I wanted to be at a night club with strippers I would have gone to one but I didn't because I was there to be at a concert. Amr Diab was great at keeping the crowd enteratined and happy. He kept everyone wanting more. I really wish he hadn't started 3 hours late and that the concert was on time. It was frusting since I had to drive an hour to get to the concert and to be on time ( doors open at 7) and have the concert not start at 8 but at 11. He was a great entertainer and if he comes back I will see him again!!
