I invited my friend to see the show and he got a little worried of not a lot of people by the entrance. But the show was Great! British guys kicked asses with charming humor and inelegance. He jumped from the stage with a very convenient microphone made everyone laugh and sit on the floor. Awesome show!

My first "official" concert. And they blew me away. Funny, witty, and they don't take themselves too seriously. Just Good ol' fashioned rock and roll. They're actually better live then on their records!

They put on a hell of a show. Eddie Argos is a hilarious frontman. Pure fun.

They've still got it! Great mixture of old and new songs, awesome stage presence, and that same self-deprecating wit we all love them for.

Though the show was only half full, Art Brut played like they were still a hungry young band eager to impress. Fun for everyone who attended, who, as Eddie Argos observed, all looked like they were in bands.

It was a small show but it rocked pretty hard. The lead singer was very person with the crowd and told jokes and stories about each song. At one point he climbed down off the stage to sing a song in crowd with us. The guitarist were also awesome. they seemed to work together great musicaly. Over all it was pretty sweet.

Truly amazing venue, really fantastic space. Demander was hypotizing and Art Brut was one hell of a good time. So much dancing took place.

This was one of the best shows I have ever been to by far. It helps that I love Art Brut's music and had been listening to their last three albums for the past few weeks almost exclusively. The band played some of their best songs (Emily Kane!) and did a good mix of old and new. I came mid week in a five day run, so they could have easily seemed run down. but the band was clearly having fun on stage, even messing around with lyrics to suit their mood. The people at the show were having fun too - there's nothing I hate more than people at rock shows who act like they're at golf tournaments. Screw the three fingered clap, spaz out a little (while not hurting those around you of course). Afterwards we got the band to sign our stuff and everybody was really chill and down-to-earth. Definitely a memorable night - i wish I had shelled out for the five night pass.

This was a sick show. Only 20 bucks to see Art Brut in Mercury Lounge the smallest venue ever with such a chill crowd. It felt like the bad was in the audience and two times Eddie Argos actually did jump in with the crowd for a twist on Modern Art using DC Comics instead, and then in the encore when he did Modern Art the real way we were all hoping he would. Art Brut, made me, want to rock out! WOOOOO!

I was at the first of 5 nights at the Mercury Lounge, NYC. Art Brut put on a great show, the entire band is very tight. I was hoping for a good show, but was suprised at how good they were. I own all three of their records and all are solid. The best part of the night was when the pit started, there where only mabe 8-10 of us, but with the solid, rocking tunes it was the highlight of the night. Art Brut was so good, I even bought one of their t-shirts, know thats saying something

First show of a 5 night residency and first time I saw the band. Amazing set. The highlight for me was definitely the extended version of Modern Art where Eddie paced back and forth through the crowd throwing in some random extra verses.
