Amazing show! Brooke Fraser rocked the house with her performance. Very passionate and the opening act killed it as well! Went to both NY shows and they both were awesome!

I had been patiently waiting for Brooke to come to Denver for the past several year and so I was eagerly anticipating the concert. She opened with The Thief. As soon as she started playing I could feel the peace and passion that defines Brooke. The two other musicians in her band playing guitar, percussion, and backup vocals were incredibly talented and creative. At times I found myself surprised that it was only the three of them creating what I was experiencing. C.S. Lewis Song was particularly potent. She started out on an electric guitar and then transitioned over to the keyboard for the instrumental epilog climax. I've always enjoyed this song but the live version was truly an experience. Between songs, Brooke told us funny self deprecating stories about her travels, people she met, and the frequent dual and often embarrassing meaning of words and phrases between English speaking countries. She is a woman of true humility. She came back for a three-song encore after the fans roared for more. Time flew by too fast. I hope Denver becomes a regular on her US tours.

SIMPLY BRILLIANT!! Sam Bradley and his band are incredible musicians and I can't believe I have never heard of him before. Great opener. Brooke is incredible live. She sounds more amazing live than on her album which is completely rare. Her personality with her magnificent lyrics made for one of the best concerts I've been to.

Brooke sounded amazing, crystal clear. Her jokes and banter in between songs was worth the price of admission alone! She's just a beautiful, wonderful talent and can't be missed live!

Incredible. I'd venture to say Brooke Fraser is better LIVE than on her albums. The instrumentation was wonderful and Brooke, of course, was grand. Her voice is effortless. It's beautiful.

Terrific concert. My only complaint is, she didn't come out till 10pm. Very late for a week night. Now the good stuff. She was fun, personable, and sang like an Angel.

Not only does she sound flawless live, the performance was more about the reminder of how powerful music is in displaying a message to unite us for a common cause. Her stretch of songs from Flags and Albertine were great reminders of the evidence of God in all things since He is creator and sustainer.

I went to the show specifically for Sam Bradley. I've been fortunate to see him on several occasions, both by himself and with his band. He never disappoints. He is truly an amazing talent that I hope everyone is able to experience live!!! He has such soul and passion for playing!! Make sure you go see him; you will not be disappointed!!

We had a wonderful night at the Brooke Fraser concert. Neither I (nor my friend) are late night people but we treasured every moment of the time we spent there. Brooke Fraser is an incredible talent. Completely real, raw and un-showy which is what I love! She picked a great setlist of songs with plenty from her new album and lots of favorites from her past albums. Her stage presence is incredible and her band were so in sync with her and her emotions behind each individual song.

I couldn't believe my good fortune - during a random business trip to Atlanta (one that had been rescheduled time and time again), Brooke Fraser would be performing. A native of New Zealand, Brooke obviously isn't a fixture in the U.S. touring market, so this was an amazing opportunity. I was a little worried that she wouldn't sing as many older songs as I'd like, as she once stated that their emotional meanings began to take their toll on her as she sang them nightly, but I was pleasantly surprised at the care she took to perform songs from all 3 of her albums. I was also in the dark about her personality; the most gifted musicians can have a hard time relating to their fans when not singing. However, Brooke took her quirky outlook on life and endeared herself to everyone in the venue. I don't know that anyone else would be able to relate childhood stories of deciding which scabs were worthy of saving with such normalcy. All of these details fall by the wayside compared to Brooke's astounding voice. Every nuance she puts in the interpretation of her songs lends to new ways to appreciate her amazing voice. This woman is amazing!

Brooke Fraser is even better live than in recording. Talented, moving and charming. Her support was very good too. The Red Room at Cafe 939 holds about 250 people, is cramped and little seating. We stood from 6 till 10:45 and were glad to not stand any longer. It's a flat room so if you're little, you better get their early to see the artist. Acoustics are really good.

Brooke and her band were phenomenal. Many of the songs were rearranged in subtle but significant ways for her live show, so that it didn't just feel like listening to the cd... It was beautiful. And her comments between and during songs brought so much connection with the audience. You walked away feeling like you had been welcomed in to her life.

Brooke was just so amazing. Her warm and inviting personality made you want to be there. Not to mention her velvety, caramel voice enchanted you as you listened. My heart is now fully captured by Brooke's melodies, humor, and sparkling personality. She takes the concert-going experience to a whole new level: home and garden. She is the cool sister who's been all over the world, met thousands of people, and written her journal into beautiful, melodic sonnets, and we are her siblings listening to her share tales of her great adventures. She speaks every word with down-to-earth humility, but she still shines brightly and makes you want to go to these amazing places she has traversed. Her music, without a doubt, is nothing short of amazing. She weaves her tunes and paints the scenes in her imagination so vividly with her carefully chosen lyrics. Thank you, Mrs. Ligertwood. You made my week (on a Monday, nonetheless!).

Her voice is angelic on her albums, making you think she couldn't be that good live, but if it's possible I would say she's even better in person. I honestly don't think I heard a bad note, and on top of being an incredible musician, she's funny, cute, and SO fun to see. I'm always slightly afraid to see musicians I've followed for awhile live because sometimes they disappoint, but Brooke did not, and I haven't been able to stop listening to her albums since I left the show. Now I just need to be patient until she comes back.

These tickets were a gift to my wife and it ended u being a nice Valentines Day out, something we don't usually make a big deal about. We had to drive down in a snow storm, but it was worth it, people that didn't come out because of the weather definitely missed out. The show took a while to get started and also the transition between the opening act and Brooke was way too long. Brooke's show was very good overall. The music was very electronic in the spirit of her new album which makes sense, and I thought they did some really clever remakes of her older material to fit that sound. However, I kind of would have enjoyed having some of the songs done in her more natural style of acoustic guitar, piano, regular drums, etc. even if it was just one or two songs at the end done that way. Brooke did a great job overcoming the foot fracture she was suffering from and her interaction with the crowd and conversational style was very fun and personable. The sound was good in many ways as far as the music goes, but her voice sometimes got lost in the mix and I felt the sound engineer should have brought the instruments down a little fix that. We were up on the 2nd level so I don't know how much that affected what we heard. We definitely look forward to seeing her again in the future, please come back!

Brooke Fraser returns with an assured performance presenting her new album Brutal Romance, moving in a new direction, away from light folk pop and in to brooding electronics. Staging has also changed to more lighting effects and Brooke herself taking center stage and not behind her comfort zone of keyboards and guitar. This might be darker and louder than fans of her earlier work may expect but she bravely explores and grows in her musical journey. The set was tight focusing mostly from the new cd but also reworking a few oldies. Her usual funny stage banter keeps the crowd in her grasp. Even breaking her foot from an unsecured guitar didn't diminish her spirits and she still made the time to do a meet and greet after the show. Strong solid vocals and fine band made this a memorable show.

She is a good singer. Her voice in the first couple of songs reminded me of Kate Bush. However the show was boring and she seemed to be a person without the confidence to be on a stage. Last two songs significantly better than the rest but not enough to bear her through a whole showbwhich by the way was far too short.

Brooke Fraser was amazing, beautiful, and played almost non stop for an hour and a half. I think the only thing that maybe took away from the experience was the loud volume resonating thru the floors from the main stage below. I think Brooke, if you bring her back again, deserves the main stage. She is an amazing performer and does have enough following to deserve the big venue.
