Going to see a band established in 1958 is sometimes disappointing. The voices are never the same and often strain at the melodies they made popular years ago, but the GOOD news is the Ventures are purely instrumental and have actually improved with age! Does it matter that Nokie had to sit down the entire time he played? Not in the least! They all rocked! I know how cliche that phrase is, but it is the best phrase for a group that defined electric guitar and special effects! As an artist myself, it is nice to know talent remains talent, even with a few wrinkles added!

The greatest instrumental rock band of all time still makes good music and puts on a great show. They played a lot of their biggest hits. The driving rhythms are still there from Tequila to Wipe Out to Pipeline. I particularly liked Ghost Riders. There were some cornball jokes and some lighting effects that seemed contrived. The videos were appropriate to the music and it was best when they let their instruments do the talking. If they ever come back I'm going to run (don't walk) to get tickets. This was my first experience in the Snoqualmie Casino Ballroom and its an impressive venue. Big enough to hold a good crowd but small enough to feel intimate. This was not at all like a stadium or arena show; comfortable seats, good access, and good sight lines. Surprisingly, there were a few empty seats - I don't think the concert was sold out.

Great Nostalgia.. BUT, the job by the "sound mixer" person/personnel was NOT stellar.. The Bass levels were set way too high and TOO overwhelming, and it just about drown out the music by the rest of the artists. Rest of the event was incredible, and I am very glad I attended it... a 1/2 a century, and more of irreplaceable history and lore.

The show was amazing. All the more when you consider the age of the band members. They were playing like they were still young! Age has not deminished their ability.

Fully enjoyed this show from the very first song until they left the stage. When they do return we will be seeing them again along with some friends that missed it this time Having the show on a Friday night made it very nice for us . Wish all shows could be on Friday or Saturday nights, but know that just isn't how it works. Hope they will be returning soon.

When I was a kid I heard Walk Don't Run, after that I bought a guitar and learned every Ventures song that came out and joined a band that played only Ventures instrumentals. After 50 years I finally got to see the Ventures at B.B. Kings club. They were incredible, Nokie, Don and Bob have still got all of their skills and Leon Taylor was just amazing on the drums, his dad Mel would be very proud. An extra treat was Markie Ramone sitting in on a drum duel during Wipeout. Great show, all I hoped it would be.

I have seen several shows at BB Kings and the club is wonderful. My complaint is that the lead guitarist/founder "Noki" sat on a chair throughout the show and never made eye contact with the audience, or smiled or winked or nodded, or did anything that might be construed as one little itty bitty fragment of joy that he was there. Don Wilson, the same age, was full of wit and personality and connected with the audience immediately. If Noki is ill then he is forgiven but he shouldn't be on stage with the others. Let a healthy musician, who enjoys what he is doing, play with the group

Was very surprised, good show. My wife got us tickets and I bought a guitar, had it autographed and had my pictures taken with the band. I didn't even know that they were going to be in the area and they have been my favorites since 1960 (Walk Don't Run).

What a fantastic night! The Ventures live show is like reliving the last fifty years of your life without losing your hearing. All the hits exactly as you remember them. Truly a magical experience.

First and foremost, the drummer rocked! Played better then his dad and Ringo Star! The bass palyer was great! Lead guitarest was having alot of trouble with his hands but sound like days past. The original member and rhythm guitar player had some sick jokes, trouble strumming with the beat and should have given up years ago. Our reason for watching them? Like most guitar players born in the 50's we all learned from the Ventures. Just wanted to see them live before the end of their day or mine.

Just awesome. Like it was thirty years ago. Shut your eyes and the happy thoughts from long ago just keep flowing through your mind. Two hours was not enough!!!
