Probably one of the best live shows I've seen! I could not have enjoyed it more.

Bell X1 played an amazing gig at the Bowery Ballroom. Played a great set, intermingling new material with classic favorites. Entertained the crowd playing a rendition of R Kelly's 'Remix to Ignition'.

Maybe it is just me, but I saw them here 2 years ago. They were great and upbeat, Talking Heads kind of vibe. This time, slow depressing songs, one after another. Even the singer had to tell the audience to shut the fuck up! They even has a song that sounded like a slowed down version of a Clash song! I was not the only one leaving after 45 minutes. Go see Nine Inch Nails, that was a great show!

They walked on stage and immediately went into a beautiful version of Starlings Over Brighton Pier. The show only got better from there. Bouncing from keyboards to guitar to drums, Paul Noonan never missed a step, or a beat for that matter. They played everything I'd hope they would with one small exception. No Ribs of a Broken Umbrella... But they did a brilliant version of Rocky Took a Lover right into Eve the Apple Of My Eye. Most of Chop Chop was on the set and there wasn't a single lull in the evening. I learned that it's morally wrong to squeeze a tea bag. Who knew? Thanks to an extra few lines added to The End Is Nigh I will never squeeze another tea bag. They slipped in a cover of a Roy Orbison song, She's A Mystery To Me with each member of the band taking a turn on vocals. This is a truly great band and they are great live. Do yourself a favor and get out to see them. You'll thank me!!!

Bell X1 put on a fabulous show. These guys are amazingly talented and they put it to good use. I'd highly recommend seeing them if you get the chance. The crowd at the Sinclair, however, was downright rude. They were talking so loud that, at one point, the lead singer had to ask them to shut the f--- up. Have some respect, people!

I had never heard of these guys before, but I liked their U2-like style. The leader was also funny, quite witty, and he didn't take himself seriously in spite of his reputation in Ireland.

Amazing band. Great intimate venue for an acoustic show. My first time at the Mod and was not disappointed.

Bell X1 was amazing! I brought three people with me who weren't familiar with the band. They loved the show and the music and couldn't understand how they had not heard of Bell X1 before this.

These guys are awesome and deserve more tailwind in the US. 5 albums out since 2000. Positive, upbeat music with Irish creativity and flair. These guys are hugely popular in Ireland, but are playing small US venues at great ticket prices to build their name in the US. Definitely check them out and spread the word.

Yet again, these boys deliver. I don't know if you were privy to their gigs late last year - the acoustic set. Well, touring on Bloodless Coup was simply sublime. Each successive album, this group has continued to stake their claim as one of Ireland's leading bands. Strong lyrically, bruising beats, and smooth singing. You really cannot get better. Seeing anyone in the Bowery is awesome, seeing these chaps was stunning.

Great energetic performance which engaged the crowd even on songs we weren't familiar with. I bought the new album on the way out which says it all.

I cannot say enough about this band and I cannot miss an opportunity to see them whenever they are in Boston so I am sure I will make it to there upcoming gig. They are so worth going to see if you enjoy live music and have a taste for this band at all. They have never ceased to put on a great show here in Boston and I ahve seen them a lot over the past few years. If you attend one Concert this year make it this one and you will not be dissapointed

This was my first time seeing Bell X1 live and they didn't disappoint. They played a solid set of most of their top songs including Rocky Took a Lover, Flame, Eve, The Apple of My Eye, The Great Defector and a few new songs including an excellent song called "Velcro." They have an amazing ability to fill the room with sound from just a three man acoustic band, layering guitar, bass and keyboard among vocals from all three with the occasional harmonica on top of that. Bell X1 is a very talented band and one worthy of a much larger audience here in the states. Don't miss a chance to see them in concert and be sure to look out for their new album and, along with Velcro, another very promising new song called, "The Trailing Skirts of God," which they played at the Iron Horse the next night. Very very beautiful song.

Brattle was a perfect setting for Bell X1. The show was all acoustic, but not cheesy singer songwriter. Great show, really intimate and band showed passion.

I am a little biased as I am a huge fan of this band so they can do no wrong in my book but this chilled acoustic session was great and they were as always brilliant.
