I've seen them perform four or five times over the years and they're always awesome. The band loves what they're doing and seem to have a lot of fun. And while I have every album, they bring so much more to their live shows. The solo sections get bigger and rock more, a little competition between band members to see who can outplay the other, (without drifting so far you forget what song they're on). They need to make a concert dvd to get even close to showing you what I mean. There is so much energy on the stage it's incredible. And the musicianship is fantastic. This will be one of the best shows you'll ever see.

I absolutely 100 percent enjoyed Amadou & Mariam's performance. I loved that they played a long set and you could just feel their soul in the music! Truly magnificent. Can't wait to see them again and dance the night away.

A&M were mesmerizing performers. We were dancing from start to finish and their music actually transported us to the Mali they sang about.

The gig was great, once it started. Why if someone says they are going to be on stage at 9pm do they not start until 10pm. Especially with no support band this just seems disrespectful to the fans.

Amadou and Mariam played a thrilling and ecstatic two-hour set, backed by bass, drums, and percussion of the highest order. Lots of lively interplay between Amadou -- with his gorgeous, goldspun guitar lines -- and the propulsive rhythm section. One of the most emotionally satisfying shows I have ever been privileged to see. A&M are true treasures.

This music was absolutely wonderful. I had never seen them live before, and even though I did not understand the words, it was definitely worth the ticket.

Club atmosphere was great and diverse, and Amadou & Mariam were lively and engaging without seeming to try 'too hard'. I'm not sure whether or not it was the sound system or the small size of the venue that was more to blame, but it was very hard to hear individual instruments at points/understand the lyrics. For the most part however, it was easy to just enjoy the show. The opening band (Debo Band) was a bit less 'together' although definitely not lacking in talent, and they were fun to watch - they just made the headliners seem more professional in comparison. All in all an awesome show.
