WOODS IN CONCERT:Woods creates intelligent pop that's just as comfortable with psychedelic experimentation as it is with folk songcraft. Since the release of their 2015 album With Light and with Love the group has stayed true to both sides of their sound, oscillating between the spacey freak out of the album's title track and the beautiful pastoral pop of “Leaves Like Glass”. At the band's live shows Singer/guitarist Jeremy Earl delivers insightful, heartfelt lyrics in a gasping whisper while keyboardist G. Lucas Crane adds howling organ lines and guitarist Jarvis Taveniere plucks out echoing guitar leads.
