There's cover bands, then there's tribute bands. As a rock magazine journalist for multiple online and hardcopy publications, I've seen hundreds. From the "old skool" glam rockers making a comeback to tribute bands keeping the memories alive, hard rock runs core deep in my veins. I'd be happy to "support" a local cover band, but believe me when I say, Guns 4 Roses is no cover band. These guys have helped put tribute bands as a rising star again with dedication and hard work. They've covered the sounds and talent of the original Guns'N'Roses of the 1980's with costuming based on the live footage performances. There's always a flair of excitement, too. If you were like me "back then," Axl and Slash were making good girls sneak out and the wild girls wear their sneaky jeans! Whatever you decide to wear, make sure you don't miss it! (And, guys, you'll really get into the hardcore shredding solos and how you "Used to Love Her!") ROCK ON!

When I first heard of Guns 4 Roses I was a little dubious. I honestly went expecting to be entertained more by their costumes than by any real talent. But what I got instead really WAS the ultimate Guns N Roses experience. By the second song I was completely hooked. Not only were their costumes and mannerisms spot on for each member they were portraying, but they could really freaking PLAY! Planted right at the feet at Izzy Slash for most of the show I had the best seat in the house. Watching this guy shred and making his Les Paul sing and wail was so mindblowing that for the first time I actually realized why some girls throw their panties on the stage at concerts!

Will definitely go check out guns 4 roses again!!great singing & music!!great interaction with the audience. Walk this way was ok.wished they would have opened for guns 4 roses.think they lacked a good feel with the crowd from the middle to the end of the show.think the brad whitford guy had all of energy of the band.he looked like he was having a great time playing.left the show early.

Anytime a guns n roses cover band plays you're always skeptical about whether they can even remotely compare with the real and original GNR. Guns for Roses I think were phenomenal at house of blues Chicago. Great atmosphere among an awesome performance. My only suggestion is to maybe play a song or two fro The new album. Chinese Democracy would have been a nice touch.

Good band. Obviously vocals of Axl are hard to replicated so no problem here. Vocalist still does good job at certain songs to even sound like Axl. Problem comes in with Lead Guitarist. Although good guitarist, he gets sloppy on playing guitar. Now one might say that it's hard to fill the shoes of Slash.Agreed. I've seen tribute band (Kashmir) of Led Zeppelin and guitarist is at par if not better then Led Zeppelin's guitarist so I would say please practice and practice. There is no room for sloppiness if you play nationwide. Besides that they played a lot of good song from first two albums. Good band, not great, not excellent. Just good. Plenty of room to improve on. Looks wise they look authentic. I would recommend it but don't expect fireworks out of this show. Recommend it though.

I must say that i was not sure what to expect seeing 2 cover bands at HOB but i was pleasantly surprised. Battery opened and they were incredible. They sounded pretty damn close to Metallica and played all the old classics which is exactly what i wanted to hear. I never saw them before that night but i definitely became a huge fan and will see them anytime they are in town. Guns 4 Roses came out looking just like the band- right down to Axel's tattoos. Played all their best songs and were really entertaining. I was definitely impressed.

We have seen Guns 4 Roses three times. Every time has been great. The best thing to seeing the real Axel and Slash.
