Nelly

Whole concert was lit and more performer's than expected.

$12 for parking, $2 entry fee, plus cost of tickets. Orchestra was sold out so I ended up with terrible seats. Oh and the concert was too short, 1 hr of Nelly (he was rushing through songs) and 1 hour of some chick named Chel that can sing but, is in the wrong type of music so it sucked. I like 1 song and kind of another. Nelly sold absolutely NO merchandise after the concert and no autographs were available. It sucked. I should have stayed home and saved my money.

He was so awesome as usual! He's very humble and a great performer!

Sound quality could have been better all around. Nelly and New Boyz had the croud jumping, the rest was ok. Worth the $65 we spent and it was totally fun to dress up!

Although the sound quaility of the evening was just fine because of the location of our seats we didn't always feel connected with the entertainment. There were only a handful of people sitting in the section where we were and as a result we felt a little left out. Speaking was directed towards the people on the floor as well as the t-shirt give aways. If we are lucky enough to go again next year, we will try to buy floor tickets so we can feel a bit more like part of the party.

Great show. I also went to The 92.3 WOW. Both shows were alot of fun. Way to go Nick cannon!

I thought the concert looked like amateurs put it together. As people were performing there were people walking arounding on stage and it looked very unprofessional, it was not worth the money. Nelly was great!! Besides..everything else

It was so short. It was over at ten and the New Boys weren't even there.

At the beginning there was tons of people and halloween music and everything seemed so exciting. The first two acts were awesome, even when Chunky sang it was so funny. Then right before Nellie came on everything started dying, there was a really long break with just pre-recorded music and stuff... then Nellie and New Boyz went on and the show just kinda ended abruptly.

The concert was okay. Each ticket after taxes and fees was about $80. Nelly spent a lot of time with an unknown artist and the concert felt slightly distracted.

Nelly was an amazing performer! I was a little nervous when the opening acts started but once Nelly hit the stage he brought it! The only thing that sucked about the whole night was that we got the venue extremely early. There were six of us and we are all very short. We wanted to be sure to get a nice spot where we would be able to see the stage. We found a spot to stand behind the first row of reserved seats and were extremely happy.. well, that was until the people who reserved those booths came and decided to stand on the seats and completely block our view. It didn't seem fair that we had been standing in the same spot since the doors opened at 8 o'clock and when Nelly came on stage, at around 11, a group of people could completely obscure our view. It was disappointing for sure. This same problem happened to the people next to us and two girls almost got in a fight over it. We just thought that the security should help out with this and make the people actually sit in the seats, it would be more fair. As far as the music.. NELLY ROCKED IT!

DJ's and opening acts were great. Nelly's set was a little short but great what he gave us.

I love Nelly's music and had wanted to see him for a long time. He came to Reno and the show was a huge disappointment, Some tickets had different show times than others, so there were people waiting in line for 3 hours! No one seemed to know when the show actually started. By the time Nelly came on it was close to 11pm. People were tired and already leaving. By the time he finished his set, most of the people were gone. With the exception of maybe 100 people in the front by the stage. If I won tickets to this show, I would go, but I am not willing to pay to see him again. David Banner on the other hand put on a great show! I am not a huge fan of his, but I really enjoyed his performance. I gave this concert 3 stars because of David Banner, not Nelly.

He made it worth going all the way to Bloomington, IN, from Southwest Missouri.

Nelly was only on stage for 37 minutes and had sound difficulties for about 10 of them. He kept saying he showed up to hang out and chill and didn't know he was performing. Yeah, with everyone paying almost 40 bucks for a ticket, I'm sure he had no idea. He was pretty good when he actually sang, but the short amount of time he performed was definitely NOT worth the price of the ticket.

I wanted to choose zero stars, but the system made me choose at least one. The ticket says 9pm. Not "Doors Open at 9pm". We were not let inside until at least 9:30. By 11:30, still no Nelly. The DJ said once or twice that he was "coming up" or "coming soon" but I don't know if he did. We left. I was so excited to see him as I don't know if he's ever been to the Indy/metro area before. But after 2 1/2+ hours waiting, our patience ran out.

He was drunk. Average show, Jake's is a dump. I'll never go there again. Ever.

Where to begin... First of all the tickets said the show started at 9P and Nelly came on stage a little after 1A. Several of my friends and I paid 30 plus dollars to go to this concert and it consisted of a lot of waiting around and little performance. Once Nelly finaly got on stage he performed for 25 mintues and that was it. It definitely was not worth the money or the time we wasted on the event Friday night.

The concert was suppose to be from 9-11pm. Nelly finally came out at 12:50 am! He came out and just started talking instead of opening w/ a song. He didn't sing a full song then talked some more. It was like an informercial for Nelly's greatest hits. I was looking forward to this concert but it was not worth the money we paid for it.

According to Nelly, he only thought he was promoting the club and hanging out.. not performing. The concert was supposed to start at 9PM -- Nelly didn't get on stage til after 1AM. He performed for maybe 30 minutes tops, and it was horrible. He only did bits and pieces of songs. There was only one song that was performed all the way through. Then he started performing songs from his new album that no one knows. It was really horrible and not worth the wait or the money. Not to mention Jake's hiked up prices on drinks just because Nelly was there (a fishbowl AMF that is normally $12 was $20). It was ridiculous.

4 tracks. That's all he performed and that too after showing up 4 hours after the event start time. A total waste of money.

Nelly wasn't actually suppose to perform.. he was just coming to "hang".. the tickets we purchased stated the event started at 9 Nelly didn't even arrive until about 1am.. The few minutes he was there it was really cool and he did end up performing for the crowd! it was really neat to see him and he's a super funny guy!

Nelly was really awesome, but he was barely out there. We waited until 12:30 as it was for him to get out there, and when he finally came out, he only played a few songs. I wish there would've been more because he was a fun performer.

The show was terrible. Nelly didnt come on until 1:30 am. He was drunk & said he thought he was just supposed to come out & say cheers to everyone. It was packed in that little place..to crowed to stand there & wait that long for him .....it SUCKED

This was one of the worst concerts i have been to. It started at 8pm first performer didn't get on stage until 945pm... i left shortly after that. I was shocked it ended up like this.

Nelly didn't perform very long. I would recommend this event if I spent $10 instead of $100. He only played a little over an hour.

The concert was amazing. They performed hits plus more. They had high energy the entire time. Don t miss out.

Nelly was AWESOME! The 2 hour pre-show was a TOTAL JOKE!!! The group I was with almost left due to the 2 hour wait time to even start the performance with Juvenile followed by NELLY. I believe that if a show is stated to start at 8:00pm then there should NOT be a 2 hour pre-show from some joke of a rapper from Kansas City. I did not arrive at the concert at 7:45 to be put off until 10:00 to begin the concert that I paid good money to see! TOTAL JOKE! NELLY WAS worth the wait, but the pre-show was beyond pathetic!!!!

OMG!! these guys came and did there thing! I was so excited and the weather was so wonderful that evening.

Nelly and Juvenile was great. The DJ was entertaining also. kept everyone in good spirit. The local act wasn't that great but since I didn't attend to see them it wasn't a big deal at all. The Venue sells watered down drinks. The performance was great on stage.

This was the 4th time I had seen Nelly. First time at this venue. It was scheduled for 8 pm. He didn't come on until shortly after 9. And lights up by 10. Very short show, disappointed considering his many hits. Most of his hits he only played half the song.

Amazing show, Love the energy! With that being said more instruments in stage would have set the house on fire.

The Venue I liken to a trailer park. The sound was absolutely abysmal. Nelly didn t even sing enough songs to break a sweat!! It was a terrible production from Venue to Artist...

Nelly was amazing, facility was clean, great security to ensure everyone's safety. But, there was no reason for the crowd to wait 45 plus mins for a drink. The bar needs some significant redesign for efficiency for the bartenders.

Nelly did a great show but the sound and lightning in the venue were awful. They really did a disservice to the music in the way it was presented. The DJ who opened belonged in a cut rate bar at best.

Nelly was a great performer and singer he played all his good songs just kept playing and his new songs that are coming out are awesome I can't wait for them to come out

Rebel nightclub was probably one of the best nightclubs that I ve ever been to. Good music, drinks were fairly priced, and very spacious. One thing that I do hate about coming to clubs in Toronto though, is the overly aggressive male patrons. But again, that isn t the fault of the club, it s the fault of men not being raised to respect women. My friends and I purchased the meet and greet package for Nelly, and were very excited. However, I just don t feel like the experience was worth what I paid for it. We were shuttled like cattle to a small room to meet Nelly where we were allowed to take one photo and then shove down the hallway. We weren t even really allowed to say hello or talk to him at all. And there were only about 40 people that actually got to meet him, so it was a shame that we didn t get more time to spend with him. And for the amount of money that we paid it just wasn t worth it. I guess. I just don t feel like the experience was worth what I paid for it. I guess I would suggest maybe having some sort of private meet and greet gathering. Or something else to make the experience worth the money. Just wanted to let you know.

The show was almost an hour late to get started. There was an opening act no one knew about, and knew nothing about. She played better, and a longer set than he did, even though you couldn't understand a word she said. None of his songs even sounded familiar, you could not understand anything he sang/rapped/said. He didn't even play for a full hour, and refused an encore. Show was supposed to start at 730, he came on about 910, and by 10:00, show was done, all the lights came on! I ditched the latter half of the show for the local band in the beer tent to get my money's worth from his ticket I paid for. By 1030, I was following his bus out of town!!! It was like he was in a hurry to get the hell out of Dodge, and cared none whatsoever for his fans. I was sorely disappointed as he is one of the very few in his genre that I listened to, and liked. Not anymore; he proved to me is just as selfish and egotistical as all the others!

First time of seeing Nelly and he didn't disappoint at all! Would see him again.

The camera man had no idea who nelly was. The camera was on his hype man the ENTIRE time. Have the decency to do research on the performers ugh. And duquoin invest in new seating. I don't really care for rusted seats and cobwebs.

The event was great and the crowd was amazing this concert will definitely be one of the most remembered concerts in my life. Nelly's opening artist named Chel was great as well. I give him four stars and not five because he didn't do the #1 song.

Tickets $35 each plus $12 to park plus $2 per person, so $40 on top of cost of 8 tickets. Unadvertised opener that was horrible that started late. Then when Nelly finally came out at 9:00 pm for a 7:30 show, he was done at 10! Not cool for what we expected. Maybe it was just the venue.

I really was looking, forward to seeing some old , country grammar, singer, but got a full live orchestra, which wouldn't have been bad, it that was what we paid for, and this should have been explained, before I purchase my tickets. I felt has if we were duped, into paying, for something that we didn't sign on. Never again

The symphony was great and nelly is timeless! Only wish it was a little longer, like some songs were only parts of the song. It would have been nice if one or some of the collaborators of the songs made an appearance too.

Looking for a RAP show but got an R&B show very disappointed.

It was a great show. Seeing Nelly in a new setting, showcasing his and the orchestra's talent.

The orchestra's first set that mixed in coolio and biggie songs was great. And then Nelly killed it for 75 min straight of no breaks and all hits in a row. Sounded so great with a full orchestra and he sounds great live. Crowd was very into it the whole time.

great orchestra sounds, Nelly's mic/sound system was a little low but he made the best of it. He was a good motivator to the crowd with lots of his past music. He has a huge loyal following.

I loved this show! My husband and I went together as a date night and it did not disappoint!! The vibe, the song selection, and the flow were well planned and well received! Such great talent!

Nelly put on a phenomenal show! He sang all of his infamous and popular songs to a sold out and jammed, packed audience. His tenure in the industry keeps him as a leader and example of classic music. He was professional, clean and bridged all the gaps with this diverse crowd along age, ethnicity, and culture.

This was one of the most amazing shows I've EVER been to!!!! I want to see it again in other cities!!! I truly did not want it to end!! Nelly was incredible in this setting!!!! The whole audience was clearly moved by his performance.

I wish the show was more than 2 hours. Nelly was so humbling and kept thanking everyone constantly for remaining fans and experiencing this symphonic night. As for myself I love live bands so it was a cool experience. He performed better than some singers and rappers that ive seen previously. It was cool that he kept bringing his brother out. Me and my bestie wished he would have took off his shirt lol. I hope he comes to Nyc

All three acts came to entertain the Cedar Rapids crowd on a perfect weather evening outside at the ampitheatre. I was not familiar with the two opening acts, but I can say that I am a fan of both now. Lewis and Adams interacted with the crowd and were total entertainment. Nelly certainly did not disappoint.. He was very active on the stage, playing to all sections and getting personal with the crowd. Came off the stage to the front crown and made a couple of passes through the night reachijg out and touching the hands in front of him as he walked by singing. The night was enjoyed by the sound of the fans.

I loved this concert. I had never heard of Big Reno before but seeing him live made me a fan. Of course I went for Nelly and he was just as awsome as I had hoped!!!! I was on the floor in front of the stage and it's a concert I won't ever forget!

Had a lot of fun at this concert & was very surprised by how long it was. We hadn't noticed that we stood 5 hours until after the show ended. It was so energetic and entertaining that time disappeared & we just had a blast.

Basically, I will say that in general it was a pretty good concert. However, I wished that the Toyota Center or ticket master or someone would have told people that General Admission meant that they would be standing up the whole time! This was truly inconvenient for some of my friends who are the shorter side. If we had known, we probably would rather pay for seats considering there were some ridiculously tall people in the middle of the crowd. Also, intermission was way too long. Waiting over forty minutes to see Nelly after 3oh!3 is ridiculous. I already started zoning out and was extremely tired of waiting especially cuz i had on shoes which began to make my feet uncomfortable since i have been standing in them for over 4 hours already. Song choices were mostly good, though i wished Nelly performed Number 1 or more music from his first album because in my opinion that was his best album. Also, I wished his performance of country grammar was longer because it seemed like it was cut down. It was nice of Nelly to bring up fans on stage though, because it was extremely cute. Overall, I liked the concert but I felt like Nelly should have been on stage just a little bit longer considering it seemed like he performed only a couple more songs than 3oh!3 and most of which were completely shorted.

I have been to a ton of concerts in my lifetime and I must say that Nelly puts on the best show I have ever seen! All the acts where wonderful. Not sure how Sick Puppies made it into a Rap concert- but they gave it all they had. Big Reeno had a lot of energy. Cali Swag signed the shirt they threw in the audience for my daughter and were nice to her- not to mention that they have a wonderful stage presence! 3OH!3 rocked it like no one else can and didn't let anyone down. The Nelly came out and did his thing. He did all of his old songs, some new ones, brought girls on stage and just brought down the house! the price of tickets for a 5 hour show ($40) is the best part of it all. Its about time that people could afford to see an awesome concert again!

Great show, could have gone without 3oh!3, but rest of bands and groups brought the house down. NELLY was unforgettable. Very surprised by his interaction with audience took alot of people on stage including a little girl to sing with him. Made her day!!!!! If you get chance to go see him DO without hesitation!!!!

What a show!!! 20 years later and this man still has it!! Not a dry seat in the house!! Juvenile got the crowd hyped and kept them there-- AWESOME!!! Nelly ROCKED IT!! Next time we will be VIP!! One heck of a show and we can't wait for his new album to drop!!

Nelly was Amazing . He gets better every time I see him. I like that he invited Chingy and J Kwon to perform . He also rocked the stage with JGE Retro ,City Spud and Ali. The songs were awesome.

Most fun show I have been to in a LONG time....The weather was absolutely perfect so that helped but the whole show was great. Everyone was up and dancing...Nelly did a great job as did the orchestra. It was a really cool mix of orchestra and hip hop!

We got to the venue too late (read: on time) and were unprepared for how large the crowd was. The shoe was great accept the sound quality was pretty poor in the very back of the park. Nelly was a great performer and everyone was having a great time.

what an awesome night and concert, everything was perfect. I recommend this show to EVERYONE!

This was a great show and great collaboration. I would recommend it and hope that something like this is done again. It brings cultures and people in general together.

We're lucky to have the musicians that we do in C-bus with a venue that allows for a great summer night to be more so. Nelly and his group were an interesting artistic mix with some classic songs better than others from a fit standpoint. Unlike prima donna hip hop artists that walked off stage when mic problems occurred at the closing ceremonies of the pan am games, Nelly and his colleagues found ways to keep entertaining, even involving the crowd

Nelly with a orchestra was a unique combination but it worked beautifully. Nelly played all of his hits and combined with the city landscaped made a great time. The idea of listening to one of your favorite artist combined with a picnic is great idea. The only recommendation would be for the venue to invest in larger screens but the sound was good.

I have spoke to many friends to tell them about this show. Nelly's performance along with the Columbus Symphony was in my top ten shows ever. We saw Dave Matthews Band the night before and Nelly and the event venue by far was my favorite. I love coming into the Columbus Commons and picking your seat area, laying down a chair opening a picnic basket and being amongst good people, for the most part, all very polite. Nelly performed wonderfully. Sound was top notch!!! Next time we are going to buy a table. Please have Nelly back, our friends were sorry they missed it. The show was a sell out!!!!

Great concert!! Wish the speakers would have been a little louder but overall wonderful!

The Columbus Symphony Orchestra performed the first half of the concert with a mish-mash of music. I was hoping for a theme (jazz, musicals, hit movies). After intermission Nelly came out - adapting his songs to a symphony is challenging, and I think some songs transitioned well while others did not. Nelly himself was good, and tried to make it all work. Hard to see and hear in the lawn seats section.
