I just love that she's so real even tho that now she's famous. She tells it like it is without no fear of judgment. I just love outspoken people and more with great sarcastic humor. Lmao

The show was amazing! The first two opening acts were okay, and kinda threw off the show at first. Once Amy got out there though, you never stopped laughing for even a second. Your face will hurt afterwards, but the concert was well worth it. Expect a lot of drunk people though. That is the only thing I would say, if anything, was getting out of hand and annoying.

An Amy Schumer show is not for younger audiences, but is worth the price of admission. She is very sharp, has great timing and involves the crowd very well. This was a charity event for Gilda s Club of Grand Rapids. So this was not a full act. But her time (about 45 minutes) was very funny.

We fell in love with Amy's irreverent sense of humor when she was on Last Comic Standing. Since then, we've taken every opportunity to see her live whenever we can. We saw Amy and Jackie at Rooster T. Feathers a while ago, and it was great to hear their new material. Even a few jokes we'd heard before were welcome, because they were still funny! That's saying something, in my opinion. We'd never seen Steve before, but he was hilarious, and we'll definitely add him to our list of favorite comics.

We went to this show not sure exactly what to expect beyond a few good laughs. Amy exceeded our expectations with her rapid fire jokes that kept us in stitches non-stop. It was both a letdown and a relief when the show ended so we could catch our breath. Not for the weak of heart or for folks that don't enjoy rude X-rated material. For everyone else, she is well worth seeing!

Great show. She is an extremely funny and talented comedian that is also quite cute. Anyway, some of her jokes are ones that you would expect from a sailor, but I think that is what makes her that much more funny. It is not meant to shock you, but it kind of does coming from a cute girl. Would definetly see her again. The only drawback is the Chicago Theatre sound for someone speaking. It is good, but could be a bit crisper.

WoW ! I took 4 people to this show and everyone shared the exact same options. Ani DiFranco played entirely too long! The little we understood from her vocals was atrocious. At one point she was singing about tampons and I just think that is truly distasteful. Amy cheated us out of her portion on the comedy show. She wore a huge t-shirt and looked like a complete slob. I am all about casual but I feel like she could have put more effort forward. The show was on New Years Eve for heavens sake! We wanted to be entertained and these performers were on stage literally wearing rages. There was a male comedian that performed and he was so altered by either alcohol or medications that no one in the audience could understand him because he slurred his words. Overall, Amys comedy portion was really funny but definitely not long enough. The overall show and performers need A LOT of work! sorry for the poor review but I hope some improvement comes from this.

Amy only performed for 23 minutes. The show was filled with mostly music played by her friend Anni Difranco. Jokes were not funny, but made to put down the southern crowd she was performing to .Most of her guest comedians were a little too drunk. This show was a mess, She mentioned this was the third year to do it, I feel like it was just thrown together so that they could come party for New Year s eve in New Orleans. Very disappointed.

Not what I was expecting-- but that's on me for not researching past similar events. Aptly titled: Amy and Friends, of the 2.5 hour performance, only the last 25 minutes was of Amy. Her (comic and musician) friends were ok, but on the whole, not worth the price of admission. Had I known, I would not have even accepted free tickets. I would have had greater entertainment streaming something on her. Her own 25 minutes, however, was exceptional as usual. That was about 4-star material. The Mahalia Jackson theater is an acoustic graveyard. This is not the first time that sound was poorly managed and executed. On past occasions, there were deadspots, and on this one, amplification was excessively loud and shrill. Moreover, Flying American Airlines affording greater seating comfort than the Mahalia Jackson Theater. I am confident that she would feel aggrieved had she known that this venue would be named after her.

We were on the first row, but the sound was so bad from the stand mic we could hear maybe every fifth word. Amy was dressed like a slob! It was New Years Eve! The first band was so bad, they couldn t get work in this town. The bass clarinet player was having trouble fingering his instrument. The first comic dissed N. O. The second complained about her mother in a whiny voice. The third was hostile and seemed drunk. Annie s voice could not be heard above the clumsy drummer. At that point we went to the bar, where the sound seemed better on the tv monster. Amy did her stand up to the silence of the crowd.

Overall a poor use of my time and money. I did not have high expectations going in, but this was more like a High School Talent show instead of a big name show with several big name performers. The only redeeming acts were Rachel Feinstein (too little time) and Ani DeFranco (very pleasant surprise). I generally enjoy Hannibal Burris, but he was either drunk or stoned and definitely obnoxious. The first and fourth comics were forgettable. In fact, I forgot their names. As for Amy Schumer, a professional comic of her stature should not have to refer back to a set list every minute or two. Over the years, I has probably seen 50 - 75 stand up comics live, and I have never seen one "phone it in" like she did. Plus her set was a only 40 minutes. Would not buy tickets to her show again, not that she cares.

I was so excited to see this show. I paid $125 per ticket for orchestra seats, great seats, however the show lasted 2 hours and we were out the door at 10:20pm for a New Year's Eve performance. Ani DiFranco was enjoyable, she played for quite a while. The other 3 or 4 comics were hammered, and not entertaining at all. Amy Schumer was hammered too, which is fine I guess, but she had trouble keeping it together. When people put down good money to see you perform, you should deliver. It seems she cut her set WAY short. Very disappointing, and I regret spending that much for a ticket. I understand partying back stage and all, but my expectations of a New Year's show would be much more polished, and better quality performers. I'm sorry Amy, I do love you, but will never again pay to see you perform.

iIn general, it was horrible. A Jazz band began the evening with a fifteen minute set after starting about 15 minutes late. Then Amy came out with her first friend who did insult comedy about New Orleans where the show was being held. It would have been fine if the insults were funny, but in fact they were lame or down right bad. Her biggest applause line was when she said, "In conclusion...". This was followed by 7 to 10 minute sets by some of Amy's comedy friends, which were average at best. Then a guitar playing lady accompanied by a drummer played, and played, and played. She was on for at least 30 minutes. We left during her set. Overall, extremely disappointing evening.

This was kind of a mess. The initial jazz band was talented, played a couple of songs. Ani Defranco was good. Amy came out and did a couple of minutes. Then, Vanessa Bayer came out and did 10 nonfunny "clever, clever" hastily prepared minutes. Hannibal Burris did 10 ok minutes, and another guy did 10. I guess Amy did a half hour MAYBE. All in all, 8:15 to 10:25. Could have missed this one!!

I was really excited to see Amy Schumer as I am a big fan of hers. I guess I should have paid a little more attention on who she had listed as an opening act. Not that Ani DiFranco isn't talented, but I was there to see comedy. The music was just not my taste and I actually felt myself falling asleep. It was just not what I was there to see. Amy finished the night off with a great act and it made up for it, but I kind of wish I didn't rush my NYE dinner to get there early now.

I was very disappointed by this show. Amy Schumer was only on stage for approximately a half hour whereas all the other "acts" made up the majority of the show. Had I known I was only going to get such a small segment with Amy Schumer I would not have purchased the tickets. It was not at all what my friend and I had in mind for a comedy show on New Years Eve and I will not suggest it to anyone else for next year.

The opening comic was horrible, not funny, not clever. Even the crowd agreed. The second was tons better, and then the drunk guy was pretty good. Ani Defranco is a good musician, but she is a songwriter, and when you can't hear the lyrics, it's all guitar. And Amy was good, not great. Overall, I was mildly disappointed.

Overall, Amy put on a good performance. Rachel Feinstein was one of the 3 opening acts and she was by far the best performer of the night. Crowd seemed to be more engaged and get more response from her compared to Amy and other performers. Hannibal Burress also performed and was clearly highly intoxicated. His speech was slurred and he went on multiple rambling and seemingly offensive rants throughout his act. He did not come back up on stage when the rest of the performers came out. Amy actually came on stage to help \u2018close aka get him off the stage. Also, she had a folk artist/feminist activist perform, Ani DeFalco. It killed the mood of the show.

Start time was supposed to be 7:30. At 8:15, a Jazz band came out and played 3 songs. Yes a Jazz band. Why? Then when I expected Amy to come out, she didn't. A warm up act came out who wasn't any better than the #2 guy at any comedy club in America. FINALLY Amy came out at 8:45, a full hour and fifteen minutes beyond the start time. She apologized for the late start, and blamed it on a late airplane. Amy is VERY strict about heckling and cell phone use. We got to stare at her list of rules up on two screens for a full hour before the Jazz band began. Then, she interrupted her set twice to threaten to have people kicked out for breaking her rules. Amy told us this was her fifth show in a week, and it showed. She looked tired. Toward the end of her set, Amy got very political. Her anti-Trump and gun law rhetoric got under the skin of the people sitting in front of me. Thankfully, I agree with her views, but would have been pissed if I hadn't been. Overall all, her set was funny, and is what I paid for, but the night was tarnished by the late start, the jazz band, marginal seats, and the disappointing opening act.

She sold out Joe Louis Arena and had an eager crowd ready to enjoy the show. Jazz group and opening comedian were really good. Her first hour was great. Exactly the female viewpoint/raunchy the audience came for. However, at one point she pivoted to gun control for mentally ill/terrorist watch lists and witnessed the audience energy wilt. Not saying she was wrong with her message or ability to use her stage to broadcast her political views(pro HRC/anti DT). Just that it soured the end of an otherwise great show. Glad I saw her once, not sure I'd pay to see her again.

If we had not had seats close in this giant amphitheater I would not have wanted to attend the show as stand-up comedy is best experienced when very close to the performer. It was worth the wait! Amy Shumer does not disappoint. Raw, honest and hilarious delivery of comedy stories! Profane, not for the young or meek. Lots of nepotism starting off with her brother Jason's not very good jazz band. But Amy gives thanks to all her family and brings most of them on the stage to experience what she tells the audience, " a feeling you will never experience!" After watching TRAINWRECK waaaay too many times and ever episode of INSIDE AMY SCHUMER my hopes were ridiculously high. I hoped it would be all new material and that the audience would go crazy. She knocked it out of the park on every conceivable wish! Not only was the audience roaring and cheering her on every step of the way, but, Orlando being the final stop on the tour, she was more relaxed than I have ever seen her. The routine took on almost a conversational rhythm that made the humour even more outrageous; she showed us some things our grandma's would have switched us for, but we clamoured for a view eagerly.. The last time I laughed that hard? Steve Martin's Wild And Crazy Guy Tour. That's a long time between, but comics this amazing don't come along even once in a generation.

There were signs all over the venue stating no cell phones. As we made our way to the floor, every single security guard pointed out these signs. The show started at 8 with Amy's brother's jazz band. The band was very loud. I took this opportunity to go to the bathroom. Then her opening act came out and he was really funny. Then Amy came out and security began shining their flashlights on anyone using their cell phone. A lady 2 rows in front of me was yelled at about 7 times before she was removed from the event. I found the security yelling at her and the scene she caused to be way more distracting than her using her cell phone. The floor seats were $130 each and 1/3 of my time watching the show was spent listening to this lady and security argue back and forth.

I saw Amy 4/28/16 in Charleston, SC and she was really awesome, but this is coming from an Amy Schumer mega fan, I watch her show each week, I loved Trainwreck, and am a big follower of her stand up...the show started with about 5-7 minutes of clips from Inside Amy Schumer, then Mark Normand was her opening act, he was really funny and did about a 25 minute set, then he introduced Amy and she immediately came out, there was no waiting, and she did a solid 60 minute set. So it was a relatively short evening, but she kept the crowd (of 10,000 people) really entertained the whole hour, everyone was roaring laughing and you could tell she was feeding off the energy, she got into it even more as she went, the first 15 minutes she kinda stumbled and was checking her note card more often, but once she got the crowd fully, she was awesome. I had nosebleed seats, but thanks to the venue using big screens I didn't have any problem at all seeing her, and the sound was really clear. Amy killed it, she had about 80% new material, I had heard the Bradley Cooper/Katie Couric/Family Feud jokes on talk shows/her HBO specials, but almost all of it was really new to me and I was extremely impressed for doing standup to already have that much more material. She was really in her element on that stage, and she was great. I wouldn't have paid $125 a ticket/$250 a couple like the people on the floor did, it wasn't worth that, but she really entertained us, and we had a blast on the upper level. Thanks Amy for a great night out! There's a strict no cell phones/camera policy...but that's to be expected with standup comedians...if there act/jokes get online, why would someone pay money to come see them...Idk why people complain about it. I snuck a picture at the very end when she was taking a bow. I'm happy with it :)

Amy Schumer and Rachel Feinstein were both very funny. Loved the comedy part of the show, but wasn't all that into the jazz band even though they were very talented.

This is my second time seeing her. She is just hilarious. I died laughing the entire time. The opening comedian was also terrific. The band was awkward but it didn't last too long. If you get a chance to go...get tickets...sit close and laugh your ass off!

The Sound System was absolutely horrible. Shouts of "we can't hear you" were everywhere and many complaints about the sound. Not the volume, that was fine, but for the most part voices, including Amy's were very garbled and difficult to hear. NOT Amy's fault, she is fantastic.

The two comedians ( rachel Feinstein and kyle dunnigan) who opened for amy were hilarious. Amy's plane was late but she ended up staying a little bit later. Some dude heckled her and she handled it like a boss.

Amy Schumer was better than I expected! She speaks her mind out-loud! The show was shorter than anticipated. The crowd didn't want to leave their seat when the show was over.

Amy Schumer, Dave Attell, and Rory Scovel, hosted by New Hampshire comedian Juston McKinney... I would give everyone but Rory an A+ (sorry Rory, you get a B-) From what I was told, Amy and Dave are shooting a movie in town (Salisbury, MA) and decided to do this show at noon time. Tickets ($15 !!) went on sale at 4:00 PM, it was sold out at 4:40 PM and the show started at 8 Proceeds from the show will go to a benefit fund in memory of Charlottesville victim Heather Heyer.

Amy was amazing. She is of course very funny, but also just a really good person. She had the entire audience in stitches. Her comedy is just one continuous joke. She made 2 hours seem like 2 minutes! Absolutely amazing show. The Royal Farms Arena is a great venue!

My wife was a big Schumer fan and got her tickets for her birthday. Decided to make a weekend out of it. We had very good seats for the show, and that was where the fun stopped. Maybe she was having an off night, but there wasn't much to the show. She was ranting about unfunny stuff and the jokes were forced. It was like someone else wrote the lines for her and handed them to her to read in the morning. Fair to say this is the last time we try and see her. Good luck !

Amy Schumer was as funny as ever. I love how open and honest she is, and in a funny manner. She also made some great political points while still being comedic and I loved it. The opening acts were really good, too!

Was a pleasant experience, the arena handles crowds well and the show was excellent (employees, however, need to be quiet in the aisles... kept hearing whispers and talking because I was on an aisle at top of row... was discourteous to paying customers).

Wasn't sure what to expect. The show was originally scheduled for November but was postponed very last minute. Her show on Comedy Central is very funny and insightful, but it can also be polarizing. The venue isn't the best--it was built 60+ years ago and it's a very limited facility and we weren't sure of the crowd...or if there would even be a crowd! But what we got was a very funny, very well thought-out hour-long-plus set. The topics were raunchy, but not overly so, opinionated, but not overly so, and personal, which was very much appreciated. The sold out crowd was highly engaged, even more so since Amy has a connection with Baltimore (she went to college here). The opening band was great and the opening comedian was a hoot of his own. It was a really nice evening!

This show was amazing! Amy Schumer is the absolute best. You feel like you're having a conversation with her. It's like she's talking right to you and not just standing up there telling a bunch of jokes. It's obvious that she feels at home on the stage and that she's truly enjoying every minute of it! If you get a chance, don't miss out on this one! She's fantastic! Kind of like she feels like Bradley Cooper is her boyfriend, I feel like we are long lost friends!

I got to see the last show of Amy Schumer's latest tour. She was hysterical! My wife and I could not stop laughing. My only criticism - she had her brother's jazz band as an opening act (followed by another comedian.) I'm not into jazz, so I am hardly one to judge. But, it was kind of dull. But, hey, that's nepotism for ya.

I don't think the money I spent on this event was worth the performance. I paid money for a comedy act but instead had to listen to 45 minutes of Jazz music. I have nothing against Jazz music but that's not what I paid for when I bought the tickets. The opening act wasn't bad at all but I was already irritated from the music. Also, Amy hyped up the crowd saying she went to Towson University and she was going to make our show the best one because it was the end of the tour but instead mic dropped after about 50 minutes. While she was funny during most of her act it was totally not worth it! Or maybe next time, don't hype up the crowd to make them feel they're in for a treat of a show. Completely overrated!

Great show. Her last of the tour. Didn't know she went to Towson and the local references of Baltimore events, bars, etc added to the show for me. Lots of very racy sexually explicit references. Didn't bother me, but not a show to take grandma to. Went with a few couples and highly recommend.

I had seen her on a HBO special a couple of years ago and she was terrific and i was looking forward to a great evening. Very disappointing to say the least. She totally lacked energy and all she talked about for the whole hour was sex with her boyfriend and her vagina. After a while that gets old. Surely, she could have and certainly should have updated her routine to include a lot more and yes, how about some energy and passion. It's like she didn't care. The theater is Grand in name only. Way below average aesthetically and visually, the audio system needs an upgrade. I could go on but, she is no Chris Rock or George Carlin for sure. Wish I could get my money back. I wonder if there is a way to rate it below one star.

When her opener began to bash the LGBT population, I literally became so sad and tearful. It ruined almost the entire show for me. Truly sad this man was such a homophobe and racist. I was surprised Amy would support someone like that.

Amy is great! She is SO funny! Super relatable. The opening act was short and sweet. Then Amy came on and put in a great show. I found myself laughing the entire time. It was myself and two friend (man and woman). The three of us left super energized and ready to have a great night. Amy put us in the best mood!! She is now my favorite comedian. The two others I enjoy just as much are Chelsea handler and Kevin hart.

wow I did not like her show! 1 full hour of 1 subject only; vulgar, vulgar and vulgar. She could do sexual joke for 10 minutes and move on with something else, but it did not happen. Also, the flow of the joke were slow, it was almost like she was tired or not 100% ready. I decide to buy her show when she was on Ellen show: there she was amazingly funny OMG. I lost my mascara from laughing. For my part, no more with her

First, the mic at the venue was poor. The first two acts were almost impossible to understand. Amy was also difficult to understand. Not her fault, but everything was muted and you had to concentrate very hard to get about 2/3'd of what she was saying. Now...the piece on Amy. While she is funny I'm not interested in paying lots of money to see someone use the stage for their political agenda they are trying to force on everyone else. While I can take a joke about something I'm sensitive to, she didn't make jest of gun owners and the second amendment, she misrepresented facts. One of her jokes was about a redneck in a wife beater shirt worrying about the government taking his trailer. Well I guess she missed out Obama just took over 1/2 billion acres from UT and maybe Nevada from the ranchers out West to put it under DC's control under the guise of national park, forest or something. This is the only time this has every been done without support of the state in which it was done. While some cheered to her anti gun jokes there were many that sat quietly. There was one group that did yell at her and walked out. I did not pay almost $300 for two tickets to hear a drunk party girl with bad scruples preach about her thoughts/politics. While that makes a great comedian, it almost makes her immediately disqualified for being taken seriously for anything of a serious nature or intellect. She has as much right as anyone to think what she wants, that's what makes this country great. But, I'm not interested in her politics at a show. Maybe Amy will make good on her promise and move to Canada. Wish she would refund my tickets. I'll just let everyone I know not to go.

While I am a big fan of Amy Schemer I was not that impressed with her live show. Think she comes across better on screen (large and small). There were, of course, some very funny moments but not enough. The opening act comics were very good so that says a lot about Amy that she appreciates talent and is not afraid to showcase it.

I love Amy Schumer, but was NOT impressed with the venue in New Orleans...The Mahalia Jackson Theater. I really hate that at the last minute the venue changed from the former Super-dome to this run down p lace. The lights were not working at the beginning of the show and the sound was horrible.. at a comedy show you kind of need to hear the jokes.

Amy Schumer's mind is unforgetable. She sees things in a humurous fun way. We laughed the whole evening. There was one surreal moment when someone from the audience yelled regarding her stance on the gun issue, but he was quickly quieted down. I found that disconcerting and a bit intimidating... I hoped that there were no guns in the crowd. But her response was quick and down putting. She is smart, humurous and self depracating. We really enjoyed ourselves.
